“Mohan asked, ‘What if the success I have been waiting for finally arrives—but I am still not happy?’

I said, ‘Then you must ask yourself whether you wanted success… or whether you expected success to give you peace.’

‘And what is the difference?’

‘That, Mohan, is what Capricorn may discover in 2027!’”

The sign stepping into the limelight in 2027 is Capricorn!

When Rahu enters a sign, that sign comes under a magnifying glass. Desire intensifies. Visibility can increase. You may become more sought after, more discussed, more determined to prove yourself.

Following Rahu’s entry into Capricorn on December 5, 2026, this becomes a major theme of your 2027 journey.

But what happens when Rahu meets Capricorn’s hardworking, persistent nature? How much is enough? And will you recognise the moment when ambition begins consuming the life you are trying to improve?

These predictions apply primarily to your Capricorn Ascendant and Moon. I will also explain the Capricorn Sun experience. Your birth chart and ongoing dasha determine how strongly these possibilities manifest.

If your Moon is in Capricorn, Rahu may bring a powerful hunger for recognition. You may feel elevated—as if suddenly your ideas deserve a bigger platform and your efforts deserve a greater reward.

You become more ambitious. More occupied with work. Even when you are resting, your mind may be planning.

This drive can help you attempt something you previously hesitated to pursue. But watch the tendency to measure every day by achievement. Protect your sleep. Give your mind time to settle. You do not have to wait for Rahu to leave Capricorn in 2028 before you can become peaceful.

If your Ascendant is Capricorn, the change may become visible in your personality and public life.

People may approach you with opportunities. Your professional image may strengthen. A new role, a larger audience or an important association may bring recognition—especially when your dasha supports it.

For some, years of quiet effort may finally produce what others call overnight success!

However, remain approachable. When your importance grows, your willingness to listen must grow with it. Otherwise, the very confidence that attracts people can gradually become the self-centredness that distances them.

If your Sun is in Capricorn, Rahu’s transit may intensify your desire to lead and establish your identity. Its passage near your natal Sun’s degree makes this symbolism more personal.

You may become more persuasive, passionate and noticeable. But impatience with authority, criticism or correction can also increase.

Lead through the quality of your work. Let your contribution carry your name.

Paramhansa Yogananda said, “Do little things in an extraordinary way; be the best one in your line.”

That is a beautiful direction for you in 2027. Give your ambition a meaningful expression through excellence.

Opposite Rahu sits Ketu in Cancer.

While you become occupied with your own growth, relationships may require more conscious attention. Your partner may appreciate your success and still miss your presence.

Ketu can bring detachment, changing expectations or dissatisfaction with superficial connections. This does not automatically mean separation. It can also encourage a more mature relationship—provided silence does not replace communication.

Make time for the people who share your life. Ask what they need. Listen without preparing your defence.

If you are single, look beyond attraction. Notice whether someone is consistent, emotionally available and respectful of your boundaries.

Jupiter’s return to Cancer in late January brings a supportive relationship chapter until June 26. This can favour meaningful discussions, reconciliation, counselling or marriage developments when the individual chart supports them.

Business partnerships and client relationships may also benefit from greater understanding.

However, a favourable transit still needs your participation. Speak honestly. Keep your commitments. Let affection appear in your everyday behaviour.

Saturn is your sign lord.

Until June 3, Saturn in Pisces emphasises disciplined effort, communication and skill development. You can become more strategic and organised. Writing, teaching, business development or learning something demanding may benefit from patient consistency.

Rahu wants expansion. Saturn asks whether your habits can sustain it.

On June 3, Saturn enters Aries, bringing your home, family responsibilities and inner stability into sharper focus.

You may need to organise domestic life, address property matters or adjust your work schedule around responsibilities at home. Aries is traditionally Saturn’s debilitation sign, so stability here requires patience; it should not be assumed to arrive effortlessly.

This is how Saturn can balance an overambitious Rahu. Before you accept more responsibility outside, you must strengthen the life that supports you inside.

When Saturn returns to Pisces on October 20, revisit unfinished work, improve your methods and make your routine more realistic.

Meanwhile, Jupiter enters Leo on June 26.

The focus shifts towards shared finances, trust, joint responsibilities and deeper emotional understanding. There may be opportunities to organise shared resources or resolve an outstanding matter, but this is not an automatic promise of financial gain.

Keep agreements transparent. Understand what you are committing to.

Spiritually, this period can become significant. You may feel drawn towards meditation, sacred teachings or understanding a recurring emotional pattern. Support may arrive through a teacher, a book or a conversation that helps you face something you have avoided.

Ramana Maharshi said, “There can be satisfaction only when you reach the source; otherwise there will be restlessness.”

Capricorn, notice the depth of this teaching.

If the same restlessness follows every achievement, give it your attention. What are you asking success to provide—security, acceptance, or proof that you are worthy?

Sit with that question gently. Your spiritual practice becomes meaningful when it includes your real struggles.

Some readers may also wonder about black magic attacks and negative evil-eye energies during these transits.

Greater visibility can bring criticism, competition or jealousy. But a transit cannot establish that someone has performed black magic against you.

Rahu’s symbolism can remind us how easily the mind magnifies uncertainty. Ketu’s detachment can become withdrawal if we stop communicating. Jupiter’s movement through deeper territory can encourage spiritual enquiry—but it should not become a reason to suspect hidden harm everywhere.

Use these themes to strengthen discernment.

Let Saturn remind you of routine and observable facts. Let Jupiter remind you to seek wise guidance. If mantra japa, prayer or remembrance of your Guru is part of your tradition, practise with devotion. These can support calm and meaning; they do not prove an attack or guarantee supernatural protection.

Maintain sensible boundaries, address actual mistreatment practically, and seek qualified support if fear persistently affects your sleep or daily life.

From November 26, Jupiter enters Virgo, bringing learning, teachers, pilgrimage and your larger purpose into focus.

You may finish the year asking, “What do I want my success to serve?”

Throughout 2027, Mars, Mercury and Venus act as shorter-term activators—bringing action, conversations, decisions and relationship developments within these broader themes.

It is said about Diogenes, one of the contemporaries of Alexander the Great, that even Alexander the Great became jealous of Diogenes. He was just a naked fakir: he had nothing. He had renounced everything; he was searching his own inner world.

It is said about him that when he renounced the world, he used to carry a small begging bowl. But then one day he saw a dog drinking water from a river. He threw that begging-bowl. He said, “If the dog can do without it, then am I worse than the dog?” Then everything was thrown away. He remained naked.

Many stories, rumors, were reaching Alexander that this man had something in him. Finally, fascinated, Alexander went to see him, and he could see that the man had something that he had not. He was just lying down—it was a winter morning, it was cool and the sun was rising. He was lying down by the side of a river, bathing himself in the early sun, naked. Alexander said, “Can I do something for you, sir? I have much, and whatsoever you desire, I will be happy to do it for you.”

Diogenes laughed and said, “The only thing that you can do is to please stand by the side. Don’t prevent the sun from coming to me. Nothing else do I need. And remember it, because you seem to be dangerous: never stand between the sun and anybody else. Don’t disturb anybody else’s life. That’s enough; nothing else do I want from you—because all that I want is within me.”

And Alexander could feel that the man was true, literally true—the solidity, the crystallized being, the ‘vibe’ of one who has attained, the surround, the climate of the person who is filled with inner light, inner realization, inner riches. He could see it. He bowed down and he said, “If next time I am to come into the world, I would ask God not to make me Alexander, but Diogenes.”

Diogenes laughed and said, “There is no need to wait that long. You can become a Diogenes just now! For what are you struggling and conquering people, and moving continuously and warring? For what?”

Said Alexander, “First I want to conquer Middle Asia, then India, then the Far East…” And Diogenes went on asking, “Then what? Then what?” Finally, when Alexander said he had conquered the whole world, he said he would then like to rest.

And Diogenes said, “You look to me almost stupid, because I am resting without conquering the world. You can rest by my side. See, the bank is so big; we can share it. And nobody comes here. You can rest to your heart’s desire. Who is preventing you? And I don’t see the point, that one needs to conquer the world first just to rest in the end. You can rest any moment.”

In that moment Alexander must have felt his poverty. He said, “You are right. I am mad, but now it is difficult for me to come back. I have to conquer, only then can I come.”

And when he was leaving, Diogenes said, “Remember, nobody can come back unless one is aware. And if you are aware right this moment, the journey stops. If you are not aware, you will never come back.” And Alexander never could go back. He died before he reached back home.

My dear Capricorn, remember Alexander’s words: “I have to conquer, only then can I come.”

How easily this becomes our own language.

Let this project finish. Let the business expand. Let me reach that position. Then I will give time to my family. Then I will meditate. Then I will enjoy my life.

As Rahu intensifies the symbolism of ambition in your sign, watch this habit of postponing living.

The morning sunlight is available today. Someone you love is waiting to speak to you today. Your life is already unfolding.

You can work wholeheartedly and still enjoy a quiet meal. You can pursue recognition and still remember who you are when nobody is applauding.

So keep a little space each day that ambition cannot claim. Sit silently. Remember your Guru. Let gratitude become part of your routine.

May 2027 bring you recognition worthy of your effort—and enough awareness to enjoy what you receive.

Capricorn, may you rise in the world without becoming a stranger to yourself.

One Guru mantra to carry with you is:

“Om Hrim Shree Gurubhyo Namaha.”

As Sant Kabir beautifully expresses:

“Guru Govind dou khade, kaake lagoon paay;
Balihari Guru aapne, Govind diyo batay.”

If God and Guru were standing before me, whose feet would I touch first? I would bow before my Guru—because it was my Guru who showed me the way to God!

The meaning of this mantra carries a devotional depth.

“Om” invokes the Divine. “Hrim”—pronounced “Hreem”—is a sacred seed sound associated with Divine Shakti. “Shree” expresses reverence. “Gurubhyo Namaha” means salutations to the revered Gurus.

The devotional essence is: “With reverence, I bow to the Gurus and open myself to their wisdom and guidance.”

Chant with gratitude. Let it remind you to remain humble enough to learn and sincere enough to practise what you learn.

Whatever your sign, whatever season of life you are passing through—keep a little space within you for silence, prayer and the Guru’s wisdom.

Om Hrim Shree Gurubhyo Namaha.

My love to all my close followers with their Moon, Sun or Ascendant in Capricorn. May 2027 bring you peace, renewed courage and the blessings of the Guru.
