Nobody knows exactly where, because whenever somebody comes to know of him he moves from that place and goes even deeper into the Himalayan ranges.”<\/p>

    The man was getting old, but he gathered courage. For two years he had to work to earn money for the journey, then he made the journey. Those were the old times, so he had to ride on camels and horses and then go on foot, and then he reached the Himalayas. People said,\u00a0“Yes, we have heard about the old man, very ancient, one cannot say how old he must be \u2014\u00a0maybe three hundred years old, or even five hundred years old;\u00a0nobody knows.\u00a0He lives somewhere, but the location cannot be given to you.\u00a0Nobody is aware of where exactly you will find him, but he is there.\u00a0If you search hard you are bound to find him.”<\/p>

    The man searched and searched and searched.\u00a0For two years he was roaming in the Himalayas\u00a0\u2014 tired, exhausted,\u00a0dead exhausted,\u00a0living only on wild fruits, leaves and grass.\u00a0He had lost much weight.\u00a0But he was intent that he had to find this man; even if it took his life, it would be worth it.<\/p>

    And can you imagine?\u00a0One day,\u00a0he saw a small hut, a grass hut.\u00a0He was so tired that he was not even able to walk, so he crawled.\u00a0He reached the hut. There was no door; he looked in, there was nobody inside. And not only was there nobody inside, but there was every sign\u00a0that for years there had been nobody inside.<\/p>

    You can imagine\u00a0what would have happened\u00a0to that man. He fell on the ground. Out of sheer tiredness he said,\u00a0“I give up.”\u00a0He was lying there under the sun in the cool breeze of the Himalayas, and\u00a0for the first time he started feeling so blissful, he had never tasted such bliss!\u00a0Suddenly he started feeling full of light.\u00a0Suddenly all thoughts disappeared, suddenly he was transported \u2014 and for no reason at all, because he had not done anything.<\/p>

    ….And then he became aware that\u00a0somebody was leaning over him.\u00a0He opened his eyes. A very very ancient old man was standing in front of him.<\/p>

    And the ancient old man,\u00a0the Master\u00a0smiled, and said, “So you have come.\u00a0Have you something to ask me?”<\/p>

    The man said,\u00a0“No.”\u00a0The ancient old man laughed, a great belly laugh which was echoed by the valleys. And he said,\u00a0“So now you know what meditation is?”<\/p>

    And the man said\u00a0” Yes”!<\/p>

    Beautiful.\u00a0What an insightful story! Meditation is a Let-Go.\u00a0Meditation happens only,\u00a0when the mind is non-goal oriented.\u00a0You sit for meditation with a purpose to achieve something and\u00a0meditation cannot happen!\u00a0The moment you drop the desire, the destination is met!\u00a0Then there is a joy to it. Then there is a song to it. The assertion which came from that man’s deepest core of being \u2014\u00a0“I give up”\u00a0\u2014 in that very giving up,\u00a0all goal-oriented mind efforts\u00a0and desires disappeared. He dropped all his desires and goals and in that very moment\u00a0he was no more the same person.\u00a0And bliss showered on him.\u00a0He was silent,\u00a0he was a nobody, and he touched the ultimate stratum of non-being.\u00a0Then he knew what meditation is.\u00a0Then he knew what prayer is for!\u00a0And then he was able to attain self-realization!<\/p>

    The moment this man\u00a0let go, of his desire\u00a0to meet the Master , to\u00a0achieve\u00a0self-realization….the moment he said\u00a0‘I give up’,\u00a0the miracle happened! Meditation happened, God happened, Love happened, Joy arose in his heart! The moment he\u00a0let go, the ‘doors opened’\u00a0and …the Master appeared…..his aura…his smile…his divinity…all that he had wished to experience, appeared before him! And that was his moment…moment of self-realization!<\/p>

    The natives having RAHU in UTTARAPHALGUNI should try to LET GO – and LET GO is possible only when you are no more caught up in your HEAD – when you have started moving towards your HEART.<\/p>
