Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada

Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada can be described in one word – a preacher. The word preacher is very significant – because you preach a certain thing only when you yourself believe in what you preach – when you yourself walk the talk.

WALK THE TALK – is therefore a trademark of Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada natives. They are faithful people, firm God believers and also take great interest in rituals and remedies that can help them live a better quality of life.

Quality of life is NOT based on how much money you have in your bank account or which car you drive – quality of life is simply based on the quality of your thoughts. Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada natives take great efforts in raising the quality of their thoughts.

“The quality of your thinking determines the quality of your life.”
-A R. Bernard

Influenced by the sign lord – Jupiter and Nakshatra Lord – Saturn – Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada does bring a certain depth of understanding to the native – the native therefore does well as a preacher, teacher or if the native is an evolved soul then he also can become a great spiritual master!

That reminds me of Osho Rajneesh.

“The moment you accept yourself, you become beautiful.”
-Osho

Osho had Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra and interestingly his RISE to FAME and FALL from FAME – both happened during his RAHU MAHADASHA!

Interestingly – Osho’s maximum discourses and books happened during his RAHU MAHADASHA. However imprisonment, downfall from fame, many allegations of corruption and tax fraud also happened during the last ten years of his Rahu Mahadasha. Some interesting events that happened during his RAHU MAHADASHA are as follows:

Osho’s Rahu Mahadasha tenure: 1967-1985 * age 35 to age 54

October 1970 – Osho’s Nani (grandmother dies). Most of his childhood days were spent at his Nani’s house.

March 1971 – Osho begins to use the self-title of Bhagwan Shri Rajneesh

Sep-1979 – Osho’s father died

March 1981 – Osho suffers from severe back pain

June 1981 to June 1985 – The most notorious time in the life of Bhagawan Osho – this is the time when the famous eastern Oregon ashrama-compound named Rajneeshpuram started. Many scandals, and crime took place during this time. Of course Osho was innocent and he had nothing to do with the politics of the Ashram – but the whole setup in the US was so bogus that it affected Osho’s health as well as his reputation in the US and India.

September 1985 – Osho’s Managers – the one who run the whole show in the Oregon Ashram in the US – abandoned him – since the US Court had filed case for immigration crimes conspiracy and felony tax fraud

30-Sep-1985 – Osho publicly proclaimed that he was no longer a spiritual teacher. 30 thousand copies of books of Osho’s teachings were mass-burned by his Oregon-commune devotees.

October 1985 – the Oregon Commune is destroyed

November 1985 – Osho was arrested by the US officials on charges of Immigration Law violations and Tax Fraud.

So you see – this is how RAHU MAHADASHA is. That someone as beautiful and as great preacher as OSHO also couldn’t escape from the clutches of Rahu – by the end of his Rahu Mahadasaha – Osho was arrested by the US Marshall on charges of Immigration Law violations and Tax Fraud which his managers did – while he was actually innocent but still he had to pay for the acts of his managers and followers.

In 1986 – as his Jupiter Mahadasha begin – he was released from the jail and finally he returned back to Pune, India from where he started his second innings though he didn’t lived for long – in 1990 at the age of 53 – Osho died. The words inscribed at his memorial says:

Never Born – Never Died Only visited this planet Earth between December 11, 1931 and January 19, 1990

A beautiful man who once walked on this planet – Osho Rajneesh – a man who had Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra!

Osho – without any doubt was indeed a great soul but whenever you start any Ashram – you often are caught in these kind of scenarios – if are not able to remain ALERT. Even a great soul like OSHO was not able to remain alert during his Rahu Mahadasha and so the downfall – the imprisonment – the corruption – fraud charges were levied upon him and finally the destruction of the whole Ashram in Oregon, US.

Interestingly my father had met Osho in Mumbai. It was before he travelled to the US, before he became Bhagavan Rajneesh. Since my father was a very famous journalist of his times – he gave much coverage to Osho in his magazine which was one of the best selling magazines of those times. Osho indeed was a blessed man but attraction towards FAME – and POPULARITY is a trademark of RAHU and so even he was not saved from falling for this temptation and that eventually became the reason for his sufferings during Rahu Mahadasha.

Teaching, Preaching, Educating – these are the most significant traits that these natives like and if the quality of their birth chart is good then they also excel in these professions.

Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada is more positive for natives born on:

  • Capricorn Ascendant
  • Libra Ascendant
  • Taurus Ascendant
  • Gemini Ascendant

Osho – was a famous University Professor before becoming a self-declared God man. He was born on Taurus Ascendant – and so RAHU and RAHU MAHADASHA became instrumental in bringing World Fame as well as downfall in his life.

The Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town and Noble Prize winner – Reverend Desmond Mpilo Tutu also had Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada. He was indeed a great preacher.

“When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said “Let us pray.” We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land.”
– Bishop Desmond Tutu

A preacher knows how to protect his followers, his men. Protecting, safeguarding is the very nature of Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra and Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada simply makes the native too protective of his people. The deity of Uttara Bhadrapada is Ahir Budhyana (Water Serpent of the Deep Seas) and Ahir Budhyana is also regarded as the guardian of treasures. So the very nature of guarding, protecting fellowmen comes naturally to Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra natives.

See how the development of Saturn’s Nakshatras take place – in Pushya Rahu is focused on bringing reforms, in Anuradha Rahu is focused on bringing transformations and now – in Uttara Bhadrapada Rahu is focused on Preaching. It is only when you go through transformation that you evolve, you mature, you become wise and then you naturally become a preacher who wants to share the many treasures of wisdom that he has attained through his whole journey of transformation!

“THE WORK OF PREACHING IS THE HIGHEST AND GREATEST AND MOST GLORIOUS CALLING TO WHICH ANYONE CAN EVER BE CALLED.”
-MARTYN LLOYD-JONES

A good preacher is always sharing freely & openly. Only that man can share who has and only that man has who goes on sharing selflessly! Rahu Uttara Bhadrapada natives are good preachers because they are open minded – the love to share – they are not those typical stingy men – they are understanding – they are social – and they believe in the fact that – SHARING is CARING.

Reminds me of a beautiful Sufi story. There was a man – a very poor man. He was a woodcutter and he lived with his wife in a small hut. The hut was so small that he and his wife could sleep …only that much space was in the hut. In the middle of one dark night, it was raining hard and somebody knocked on the door. The wife was sleeping close to the door. The husband said to the wife, “Open the door. The rain is too much and the man must have lost his way. It is a dark night and the forest is dangerous and full of wild animals. Open the door immediately!”
She said, “But there is no space.” The man laughed and said, “This is not a palace of a king, where you will always find a shortage of space. This is a poor man’s hut. Two can sleep well; three can sit. We will create space. Just open the door.”
And the door was opened. The man came in and he was very grateful and they all sat and started talking and gossiping and telling stories to each other. The night had to be passed somehow because they could not sleep; there was no space. And just then, another knock ….

The man, the new guest, was now sitting by the side of the door. The owner of the hut said, “Friend, open the door. Somebody else is lost.” And the man said, “You seem to be a very strange fellow. There is no space.”
He said, “This was my wife’s argument too. If I had listened to her argument, you would have been in the forest, eaten by the wild animals. And you seem to be a strange man that you cannot understand that we are sitting just because of you. We are tired after a long day. I am a woodcutter — the whole day I cut the wood and then sell it in the market and then we can hardly get food once a day. Open the door. This is not your hut. If three persons can sit comfortably, four persons can sit a little closer, with a little less comfort. But we will create the space.”
Naturally he had to open the door, although reluctantly. And a man entered and he was very grateful. Now they were sitting very close; there was not even a single inch of space left. And then suddenly, a strange knock, which did not seem to be a man’s! There was silence from all three; the wife and the two guests were afraid that he would say open the door.
And he said it. “Open the door. I know who is knocking. It is my donkey. In this wide world he is my only friend. I carry my wood on that donkey. He remains outside, but it is raining too much. Open the door.”
And now it was the fourth guest to be allowed in, and everybody resisted and they said, “This is too much. Where is the donkey going to stand?”
This man said, “You don’t understand. It is a poor man’s hut, it is always spacious. Right now we are sitting; when the donkey comes in we will all be standing and we will keep the donkey in the middle so he feels warm and cozy and loved.”
They said, “It was better to get lost in the jungle, rather than to be caught in your hut.”
But nothing could be done. When the owner said to open the door, the door was opened.
And the donkey came in. The water was dripping from all over his body and the owner took him into the middle and told all the others to stand around. He said, “You don’t understand. My donkey is of a very philosophical mind. You can say anything, he is never disturbed. He always listens silently.”

The poor man was truly a RICH MAN. He was poor, he had just a small hut, but his HEART was so full of LOVE, COMPASSION & he provides shelter to humans and animal – in his small hut – there is no discrimination, there is no reservation, there is no selfishness – he is simply happy to share – to give shelter to those who are in dire need.

There are many men and women who have a BIG FAT BANK BALANCE – they have lots of money – but they are NOT rich because they are TOO SELFISH, TOO CELF CENTERED, TOO STINGY. In Hindi there is a perfect word that describes such men and women – the word is PAISEWALA (meaning a man having lots of money – hard cash). But such a man only has money – money – money and just money. He is NOT rich in the true sense – because to become RICH — you need a HEART that beats with compassion – a HEART that feels more – a HEART that can understand the pain of OTHERS. Only such a man is truly RICH – he comes rushing towards those who need his help – who need his support.

In Pune – the powerful rulers – the PESHWAS were addressed as SHRIMANT PESHWA. SHRIMANT means RICH – one who is a GIVER – a PROVIDER – one who is compassionate and willing to SHARE the wealth for the benefit of the society – the people. In the same city of Pune – the famous DAGDUSHETH GANAPATI is also addressed as SHRIMANT DAGDUSHETH GANAPATI – because HE fulfils the desires of his devotees – HE has a VERY LARGE HEART. I prostrate before the most revered Lord Ganesha in Pune – SHRIMANT DAGDUSHETH GANAPATI.

Uttara Bhadrapad is such a SHRIMANT (RICH) Nakshatra. Because this Nakshatra is the PEAK POINT of SATURN’s maturity. It is here that a Preacher is born. It is here that a great spiritual master Osho is born. It is here that a great priest and reverend Bishop Desmond Tutu is born!

And when it comes to preaching – how can we miss the politicians? To become a great preacher – you need command over your language, your vocabulary – your speech. And giving great speech is indeed very instrumental when it comes to making a great political career!

And so we have great US Presidents – such as POTUS William Howard, POTUS Richard Nixon, POTUS Gerald R. Ford.

Some great Hollywood Actresses – Elizabeth Taylor and Jennifer Aniston – are also born with Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra. The very presence of RAHU in a spiritual Nakshatra of Uttara Bhadrapada – makes the native more spiritual and less religious.

“I don’t have a religion. I believe in a God. I don’t know what it looks like but it’s MY god. My own interpretation of the supernatural”- Jennifer Aniston

Attaining Liberation, Moksha is what these natives ultimate goal is – and as they grow they realize that liberation is possible only through the spiritual path and NOT the religious path. They realize that GOD has NO religion – they realize that RELIGION and SPIRITUALITY are two ends that can never meet – you either are RELIGIOUS or you either are SPIRITUAL – you cannot be both.

Once it happened. A man came and asked Buddha ” Is there a God?

Buddha answered ” NO – there is no God.”

Another man came and asked Buddha “What do you think of God? Is there any God?

Buddha answered “YES – there is GOD.”

Late evening an old man came and said ” There are people who believe in God and people who don’t, I myself need to know if God exists, please help me.”

Buddha did not speak – instead he gave the answer through his actions. Buddha sat beneath the tree, closed his eyes and went into deep meditation. The old man thought that this must be the answer – so he too sat down, closed his eyes and started meditating. After a while the old man opened his eyes, touched the feet of Buddha and said ” Your compassion is great. You have given me the answer. I will always remain obliged to you.” Happily he left.

Ananda asked Buddha ” To the first man you answered – God doesn’t exist. To the second man you answered “God exists.” And to the last man – you said nothing but just went into meditation. I don’t understand your answers – please help me understand.”

Buddha smiled and said ” The first and the second man just wanted an answer – they were not seekers. The last man was a seeker – he wanted to ‘experience’ God and not just ‘know’. He was able to ‘relate’ – he was a seeker.

Buddha therefore says to his disciples “Never give your precious time to GOD BELIEVERS – because they just believe – they are not willing to jump and experience themselves – they just want some messiah on which they can rely – without taking any efforts on their part. And so never entertain GOD BELIEVERS – instead give your time to those who are SEEKERS – who are willing to TAKE EFFORTS – who are willing to ASK “Show me how to experience GOD.” “

Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada brings great potential to make you a SEEKER and NOT just a believer.

“Buddha says – ‘Truth is not transferable. I cannot give you the truth; nobody else can give it to you. But you can attain it on your own.” You have to seek, Buddha wants seekers and the seeker is a totally different phenomenon. The believer is not a seeker. The believer wants to avoid everything, that’s why he believes. The believer is always in search of a messiah, somebody who can chew for him. But if I eat, your hunger is not going to be satisfied. Nobody can save you except yourself. You have to be a seeker and not a believer.” – Osho

And that is message to all natives having Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra – that continue to SEEK – continue to show the courage in exploring the beyond – the unseen – continue to practice meditation.

To seek the blessings of Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra – plant a Mango tree or donate mangoes to the poor. Because MANGO TREE is the tree that comes under Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra! Mango is symbolic representation of SWEETNESS, ROYAL life. The more you worship the Mango tree the more you will continue to excel in your career and your life will become richer from all angles – spiritual, and material.

I humbly prostrate before the Nakshatra of wisdom, prosperity and maturity – Uttara Bhadrapada. May HIS blessings shower upon me and all my readers and followers.

Always remember – the more conscious you are of your KARMA – the more you are going to evolve as a person and the more you evolve as a person the more you are going to succeed in your life. It is all inter connected – it is all Linked-In.

The key therefore is in raising your awareness – as awareness grows – LOVE grows within YOU – you become more compassionate – more understanding – more forgiving.

“”IF YOU CAN GROW IN LOVE, YOU WILL GROW IN AWARENESS. IF YOU GROW IN AWARENESS, YOU WILL GROW IN LOVE…” – OSHO

So focus on LOVE – focus on raising your AWARENESS. The world is filled with people who HATE more and LOVE less – and therefore we have more miseries and less happiness in life. But you can change your life – you can raise the quality of your life – only if you are willing to drop all the hatred in your heart and focus on following the PATH of LOVE – the PATH of DEVOTION – Bhakti Marga.

“The Supreme Personality of Godhead cannot be understood by any means except bhakti.”

I am a friend of all those beautiful souls who are walking on the path of BHAKTI – Path of Devotion. To such beautiful souls – I want to say: “Keep walking – you are on the RIGHT TRACK.”

Love is the way – the only way that can bring peace to your heart – the only way that can help you reach GOD with much ease.

“Lots of ways to reach GOD,
I Choose LOVE.”
-Rumi

Bhakti Marga – Devotional Path – that is the Path of Kabir, that is the Path of Jesus, that is the Path of Krishna, that is the Path of Rama, that is the Path of Buddha, that is the Path of Guru Nanak and that can become your path as well – only if you are willing to take the first step….

Love.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Rahu in Anuradha

Anuradha is the place where Saturn brings transformations. And transformations happen only when there is a certain shock, certain upheavals. Anuradha Nakshatra therefore falls exactly in the 8th house of Scorpio where the native goes through all kind of shock treatments until he or she is totally transformed! In Pushya – Saturn is focused on bringing reforms. In Anuradha – Saturn is focused on bringing total transformation.

“Transformation is a process, and as life happens there are tons of ups and downs. It’s a journey of discovery – there are moments on mountaintops and moments in deep valleys of despair.”
-Rick Warren

In Pushya Saturn is religious but not spiritual. In Anuradha – Saturn is spiritual and not religious. Always remember – religion can reform your life – but it cannot transform you. It is only through spirituality that you truly transform – and that’s what ANURADHA does – it transforms you totally into a new person – a new man!

“Religion can reform a person’s life, but it can never transform him. Only the Holy Spirit can transform!”
-Aiden Wilson Tozer

Anuradha is all about transformation and transformation is directly connected with spirituality.

Always remember – Spirituality never comes from any religion – spirituality comes from the soul.

In the Kaal Purush Kundali – the 8th house is the spiritual house – it is in the 8th – it is through the 8th house that the transformation happens which ultimately leads you to MOKSHA _ LIBERATION_ ECSTATCY which is seen through the 12th house! So you see – 8th house is therefore the most beautiful house – as long as spiritual transformation is concerned. Osho Rajneesh had almost 4 planets in his 8th house. Whenever there are planets in the 8th house – and the chart is of good quality then the person goes through many transformations which ultimately leads him to great successes in life. Amitabh Bachchan also has major planets in 8th house.

8th house is where the sign Scorpio falls. Anuradha dwells in Scorpio sign. Saturn is also connected with 8th house since the number 8 itself signify Saturn. And so Anuradha is a highly powerful transformative nakshatra and when Rahu falls in such a highly sensitive transformative Nakshatra then you can imagine – how mind-blowing and challenging life is going to be! A life of challenges is good than a life with absolutely no challenges. It is necessary to remember that challenges are not send by God to destroy you but to strengthen you.

“There are no great people in this world, only great challenges which ordinary people rise to meet.”
-WILLIAM FREDERICK HALSEY, JR

Rahu in Anuradha natives loves challenges. The more you challenge these natives the more they are excited. As mentioned these natives are highly extremist and they can go to any extent to bring transformation for the larger interest of the society. Reminds me of Henry VIII. Henry VIII was the King of England from 22 April 1509 until his death in 1547. During those time the Church of England used to influence the monarchy. Henry VIII was against this meddling of the Church in the administrative decisions. And so he removed the Pope and the authority of Church and he appointed himself as the Supreme Head of the Church of England and dissolved all convents and monasteries. Now imagine how much courage and spirit one may need to bring this great transformation – and challenging the power of the Church and the Pope during those times was not an easy thing to do – but Rahu in Anuradha loves all kind of challenges and they successfully bring the change they desire! Henry VIII – the King of England had Rahu in Anuradha Nakshatra.

Henry VIII is often described by historians and scholars as “one of the most charismatic rulers to sit on the English throne” and his reign has been described as the “most important” in English history.

Something new, something strange always happens with native having Rahu in Anuradha Nakshatra. Now look at Henry VIII – he married six times!

Anuradha is ruled by Saturn. Interestingly Saturn rules all three Nakshtras – namely: Pushya, Anuradha and Uttara Bhadrapada and they all belong to watery signs – namely: Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces!

All three watery signs that I just mentioned – Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are highly emotional signs – and look at the facts – SATURN just loves all of these three signs – else how come all the three nakshatras would fall in these 3 emotional signs?

And so today I want to debunk the misconception that SATURN knows NO emotions. That is a total myth. Saturn loves emotions – that is why Saturn bless those who serve the POOR – the NEEDY! Only an emotional person will serve the poor – one who has heart that beats with compassion and love!

And so my friends – I tell you – that SATURN is EMOTIONAL but HE is not an EMOTIONAL FOOL – SATURN is EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENT. Emotional intelligence is the essence of Lord Saturn.

Emotional intelligence is the triumph of heart over the head. To be emotionally intelligent means to understand the powerful emotions of yours and others and to handle it properly.

You will perform well as CEO, COO or you will become CEO or COO only when you show emotional intelligence.

“Emotional intelligence, more than any other factor, more than I.Q. or expertise, accounts for 85% to 90% of success at work… I.Q. is a threshold competence. You need it, but it doesn’t make you a star. Emotional intelligence can.”
-Warren G. Bennis

Lord SATURN loves emotional intelligence – a person having a strong Saturn placement always attains emotional intelligence and that makes him the future CEO or COO of a company or a successful political leader.

Rahu in watery sign of Scorpio and that too in the very center of the 8th house – makes the native very emotionally vulnerable and many times the native ends up making decisions based on emotions. Now if the native is an emotional fool then he will make wrong decisions and if the native is emotionally intelligent person then he will make right decisions. So emotions is NOT bad – but how purified and balanced emotions are – is what matters in making you a HERO or a ZERO.

Rahu in Anuradha natives takes great interest in spirituality. Depending on the quality of the horoscope – based on how evolved the soul is – the native either gets inclined towards occultism or spirituality.

Occultism and spirituality are two ends – occultism deals with the world of magic – whereas spirituality deals with the world of miracles. And it is necessary to remember that magic is man made whereas miracle is God made!

And so Rahu in Anuradha can either become a Mahavira or a typical black magician. It all depends on the level and quality of the soul whose horoscope is on the table.

GOING TO EXTREMES is the quality of Rahu in Anuradha native. These people either are standing first in the queue or last in the queue.

All watery signs being too emotional – generally are NOT WILLING to LET GO. And Saturn’s Anuradha and Rahu’s combination makes the person too clinging by nature – and this nature of clinging – this nature of not forgiving – this nature of not letting go eventually brings more miseries in their life.

Rahu in Anuradha natives should take efforts to move towards detachment. The whole mathematics of life is simple – more attachment equals to more miseries. And more detachment equals to more happiness.

The most common complaint of Rahu in Anuradha natives is they feel very unfortunate because whatsoever they do goes wrong. And they try not to do wrong again, but that’s not going to help because the center has to be changed. Their minds function in a wrong way. They may think that they are doing good, but they will do bad. With all their good wishes, they cannot help; they are helpless.

There was a young man. He must be a Rahu in Anuradha native – because no matter whatsoever he does – he would end up doing wrong! The problem is always with the center – if the center remains ignorant then whatsoever you do – it goes wrong!

And so one day this young man visited a great Sufi Saint. The young man continued to visit the same saint for many many days but the saint was a silent one; he will not speak anything. Then one day the young man had to say, he had to ask, “I have been coming again and again, waiting that you will say something, and you have not said anything. And unless you say, I cannot understand, so just give me a message for my life, a direction so that I can move in that direction.”

So that Sufi sage said, “NEKI KAR KUYEN MAY DAL: Do good and throw it in the well.” It is one of the oldest Sufi sayings: “Do good and throw it in the well.” It means do good and forget it immediately; don’t carry that “I have done good.”

So next day the young man helped one old woman to cross the road, and then he pushed her into the well.

“NEKI KAR KUYEN MAY DAL: DO good and throw it in the well.”

If your wrong center is functioning, whatsoever you do – will go wrong. So the first lesson for all natives having Rahu in Anuradha is to focus inwards and to realize that there is something wrong within you – it is only when you accept this fact that you can actually start improvising your SELF and once you start working on your SELF – then this Rahu in Anuradha will take you to heights of success.

Rahu in Anuradha in simple words is a high voltage power unit – if it is put to use for a GOOD CAUSE – then he will manifest into a beautiful helpful human being and – if it is put to use for a BAD CAUSE – the he will turn out to be the most dangerous person on this planet. There is no middle ground for Rahu Anuradha natives – you are either TOO GOOD or you are TOO BAD.

Because Scorpio is a sign that had much depth of understanding – this Rahu in Anuradha at some stage invokes the native to find the PURPOSE of his or her life. And if the native is an evolved soul, if he is on the spiritual path then sooner or later they realize that DOING FOR OTHERS is what adds value to their life – DOING FOR OTHERS is what brings certain meaning to their life.

“NOTHING WOULD MEAN ANYTHING IF I DIDN’T LIVE A LIFE OF USE TO OTHERS.”
– Anjelina Jolie

Incidentally – Angelina Jolie also has Rahu in Anuradha Nakshatra. The best word to describe Angelina Jolie is “charitable”. As the beautiful mother of 6 children (three of them adopted), she is highly involved in a number of humanitarian projects around the globe. Life purpose is what these natives need to add certain meaning to their life. And so generally an evolved soul having Rahu in Anuradha lives a life that is of USE TO OTHERS.

“Our prime purpose in this life is to HELP OTHERS.
And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them”
-Dalai Lama

Pushya Rahu is all about reforms and reorganization of the system however Anuradha Rahu is all about transformations and that includes physical transformation as well! It is necessary to remember that you cannot have a physical transformation until you have a spiritual transformation! Anuradha Rahu is all about spiritual transformation – and such a placement proves beneficial only to a soul that is inclined towards spirituality.

Rahu Anuradha is specifically good for the following Ascendants:

  1. Virgo Ascendant
  2. Gemini Ascendant
  3. Capricorn Ascendant
  4. Aquarius Ascendant

Such a Rahu proves more beneficial if Mercury, Saturn is well placed and well aspected in the birth chart.

The sacred tree for Anuradha Nakshatra is the Spanish cherry tree. In India the name of this tree is “Bakula” or “Bakhul”. It is also called “Bullet-wood tree” in the US. If you are born with Moon in Anuradha Nakshatra or Rahu in Anuradha Nakshatra then you should plant this tree in your garden and nurture it with love. The more you nurture this wonderful tree the more you will receive blessings from Anuradha – the highly transformative Nakshatra!

Always remember transformation happens only through a certain disruption. Disruption causes many changes and disruption requires FORCE of POWER to transform the system in its totality.

Anuradha is all about disruptive powers, disruptive leadership, disruptive individuals. Sometimes a certain disruption is necessary to clear the path of your life.

Anuradha therefore becomes a great asset for an evolved soul. Transformation happens through disruption – and transformation is always sudden in nature.

“TRANSFORMATION CAN ONLY TAKE PLACE IMMEDIATELY; THE REVOLUTION IS NOW, NOT TOMORROW”
-JIDDU KRISHNAMURTI

Enlightenment is also spontaneous. It is accidental – it can happen anytime – suddenly you become enlightened – this suddenness is of the 8th house. Once a learned professor from the US was having a good bath in his tub and suddenly he became enlightened. He had been meditating for many years – but you see – at the most strange moment – unexpected moment while taking bath he attained the state of enlightenment – and he came out of his tub – started running towards the hall – because in the hall – the master – Bhagavan Ramana Maharashi was present. And he reached the hall and from far away he asked the Bhagavan “Master – is this THAT?”

And the Bhagavan smiled and said “ Yes – that is THAT.”

The man’s joy knew no bounds – he was speechless, he fell at the feet of the master and tears started flowing from his eyes – those tears were the tears of joy!

Enlightenment is accidental – it is spontaneous – it is sudden by nature however it is not that you don’t do anything for it. That is not the meaning. If you don’t do anything for it, even the accident will not happen. The professor had been meditating for several years – he had been taking the necessary efforts – so efforts are required and so the accident happens only to those who have been doing much for it; but it never happens because of their doing. This is the problem; it never happens because of their doing; it never happens without their doing. That doing is not a cause for it to happen. The doing is just a cause which creates the situation in them so they become accident-prone, that’s all!

So don’t stop doing things. Don’t stop taking the efforts – you need to get ready for it, ready for the accident, ready for the unknown – ready, waiting, receptive. Otherwise the accident may come and may pass you. You may be asleep. The unknown may knock on your door and you will be fast asleep – you will miss – you will simply miss.

8th house Anuradha and the connection of Anuradha with Rahu does create a possibility of experiencing the sudden transformation, the accidental enlightenment – it is possible but only for those evolved souls who are taking efforts – who have been doing much for it.

“Enlightenment is like an accident. All your meditations will create just an accident-proneness, that’s all. That’s why even a Buddha cannot say when your enlightenment is going to happen. People may ask Buddha and Buddha will say “Soon”. It means nothing. Soon may be the next moment, soon may not come for many lives because an accident cannot be predicted. If it can be predicted, it is not an accident at all, then it is a continuity.”
– Osho

Anuradha – because of its connection with the sign Scorpio, 8th house – does bring sudden changes – the surprise element is always present in Anuradha and Rahu simply fires up this suddenness of Anuradha which ultimately takes the native through many tragedies, and accidents that eventually helps the native to evolve as a much matured person.

8th house is very significant if you truly want to experience spiritual transformation. Moon in 8th house, Sun in 8th house, Jupiter in 8th house or Rahu or Mars in 8th house is therefore significant in the overall spiritual progress of the native. However any planet in the 8th house is bound to make you go through certain pain – certain suffering – because without the pain, without the suffering, without the losses – you will NOT WAKE UP and so this pain that 8th house lord or 8th house planet brings is not to hurt you but to AWAKEN YOU and help you realize the true essence of human life and the beyond.

Suffering is necessary as long as you remain ‘asleep’ – the moment you are awakened – then suffering ceases to exist – then you no more suffer – you overcome all your sufferings!

Always remember – GOD TESTS THOSE WHOM HE LOVES THE MOST. And so if you are going through sufferings and while going through sufferings if you stay positive – if you stay faithful then it is a sign that GOD LOVES YOU THE MOST.

Always remember – a GEM cannot be polished without friction – similarly a man cannot be perfected without trials!

Anuradha is therefore a very significant NAKSHATRA. Yes – it brings trials – it brings sudden happenings – it brings certain sufferings but all of these is necessary for a man to mature – to evolve – to rise and experience the higher altitudes of life!

Shallow people are afraid of Scorpio Sign. Shallow people are afraid of Anuradha Nakshatra – but I LOVE ANURADHA – because transformation is not possible without the trials of life.

“Every trial and experience you have passed through is necessary for your salvation.”
-Brigham Young

A good character is developed only through experience of trials and suffering. It is very significant to note that all EVOLVED souls have been through great sufferings and trials in life – then be it Jesus, Buddha, Mahavira, Muhammed or Saint Valmiki!

“IF WE APPROACH ADVERSITIES WISELY, OUR HARDEST TIMES can be times of greatest growth.
WHICH IN TURN CAN LEAD TOWARD times of greatest happiness.”
-JOSEPH B. WIRTHLIN

God always tests evolved souls – just the way master always tests his best disciples!

Anuradha rules the breasts, stomach, womb and bowels. And so Rahu in Anuradha can create health problems related to stomach, and if the native is a woman – then diseases related with breast, bowels and womb (i.e. uterus).

The deity of Anuradha Nakshatra is Mitra-Varuna.

Agasthya and Vasishtha are sons of Mitra Varun. It happened so that Mitra (Sun God) and Varuna (Rain God) happened to see the the most beautiful fairy (apsara) Urvashi. And looking at her – they could not resist the fall of their combined semen from which the great sage Agasthya and Sage Vasishtha were born. Mitra (Sun God) and Varuna (Rain God) – both rule Anuradha Nakshtra – one who worships Mitra Varun – is blessed with abudnance of prosperity and peace in life. I prostrate before the Sun God and Rain God – Mitra Varun.

Mitra and Varuna are two deities (devas) frequently referred to in the ancient Indian scripture of the Rigveda. They are both considered Ādityas, or deities connected with the Sun; and they are protectors of the righteous order which regulates and coordinates the operation of the universe and everything within it. They are responsible for the proper functioning of the natural, moral and sacrificial orders.

Sun and Rain – Hot and Cold – High and Low – this is how life of a Rahu in Anuradha Nakshtra native is – High and Low – Ups and Downs – and because of this high and low phases of life – these native always continue to evolve – to mature – in true sense they remain ALIVE.

“Up & downs in life are very important to keep us going, Because a straight line even in an E.C.G Means we are not alive”
-RATAN TATA

Anuradha is a highly volatile nakshatra – and Rahu’s presence in Anuradha simply exaggerates this volatility – the person is always living on the edge – and that keeps him always on his toes – that keeps him alive – ready to take all kind of challenges that may come his or her way.

“BEING ON THE EDGE ISN’T AS SAFE, BUT THE VIEW IS BETTER.”
-RICKY GERVAIS

Adventure, tragedies, upheavals, sufferings – life becomes too spicy when Rahu falls in Anuradha Nakshatra – however for an evolved soul – all of these trials and sufferings becomes a ‘blessing in disguise’ because through this sufferings – awareness comes to his being – the fire of suffering becomes the light of consciousness in his life.

To attain awareness – to experience the light of consciousness within you – you have to take efforts – you have to “jump” – you have to take the risk!

Reminds me of a beautiful story – there was a young man and he was walking with a old man. It was night time – and the road was very dark – but the old man was carrying a lamp in his hand. And so the young man was able to walk easily – he was enjoying the walk with the old man – everything was clearly visible – the old man was holding the lamp in his hand….

But after a while they came to a crossroad, and the old man who had a lamp had to go his way.

Suddenly there was darkness. Now the young man suffered very much.

He started crying and weeping, saying, ‘Why didn’t I learn how to make a lamp? Why didn’t I ask that man how to light a lamp? My own lamp — even if it were small — would have been better, but I never thought about it. I was thinking that everything was going so well, so what was the need? The path was lit — but now …there is total darkness….”

This is what happens – if you come to a man who has his inner light burning, sometimes suddenly a door opens and your path is lighted and you see all that you could not even believe a second before — it is there! But this is not your lamp, so this will become a memory and will haunt you.

Again and again you will think about how to go back. There is no going back, there is no need to go back. You have to go forward. You have to attain to your own light; and that can be done….Anuradha Rahu is that dark road that can inspire you to lit your own lamp by turning inwards – by starting with meditations – with chanting – because this is the only way that you can lit the lamp of awareness – consciousness within you!

But who wants to listen? Shallow people are just interested in knowing about the circumference – rarely it happens that one in a million starts self-inquiring “WHO AM I?” – and the more he self-inquires the more he starts finding the answers that he seeks – such a man someday becomes a buddha.

“Enquiry of “Who am I?” means finding the source of ‘I’. When that is found, that which you seek is accomplished.”
-SriRamana Maharishi.com

Only that man – only that woman can attain LIBERATION – who has been through sufferings and trials of life. Suffering is the sole origin of consciousness. Anuradha Rahu may bring certain sufferings but those sufferings can become blessing in disguise if the native is an evolved soul – if the native is a meditative soul – if the native is taking efforts to rise above the mind by contemplating on His SELF.

“Distracted as we are by various thoughts, if we would continually contemplate the Self, which is Itself God, this single thought would in due course replace all distraction and would itself ultimately vanish.
The pure Consciousness that alone finally remains is God. This is Liberation.”
-Ramana Maharshi

My fellows – liberation NEVER happens after DEATH. Liberation or Moksha is experienced while one is very much in human form – ALIVE – breathing in and breathing out. But not everybody can understand this – those who have understood – have started with the greatest journey of their life – the Journey Within.

Love to all my readers. Stay blessed and remember to meditate every day. Chant the holy Ganesha Mantra : “Aum Gan Ganapataye Namaha:” 108 times every day – morning and evening – to attain peace and prosperity in your life and to make your journey with Rahu Anuradha more fulfilling and rewarding.

Ganapati Bappa Morya!

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Rahu in Uttarashadha

“Duty comes FIRST” – this one line defines the basic essence of Uttarashadha Nakshatra. These fellows are highly service oriented by nature and they simply love to live life by expanding their network of friends. Needless to say that this nature of being friendly, being warm and extending help to people from all walks of life provides them an excellent platform to operate as a good social worker, politician or an able administrator. When it comes to Uttarashadha – you must realize that the person has certain values, principles based on which he or she operates in this human world.

Although Uttarashadha falls in the Saturnian sign of Capricorn – still the light of the SUN makes Uttarashadha a star of high social status. Uttarashadha ruled by Sun is last star of Sun in the zodiac cycle. In Kritika Sun is in action mode, trying to establish the foundation – in Uttaraphalguni Sun has finally established the foundation – whereas in Uttarashadha – Sun has attained the peak of success – the peak of height. However it is necessary to remember – that where there are peaks – at the same place there are also deep valleys!

“the higher the peak is, the deeper the valley will be. Near Everest, the deepest valley exists — it can only exist there” -OSHO

Rahu in Uttarashadha may provide the potential to attain the peak of success but to this side of success story – there is also another side and that side is the story of many sacrifices, many difficulties that is never revealed to the society.

The society just SEES THE SUCCESS that these natives achieve – however they do not see the many struggles, sacrifices and difficulties that these native had to go through to attain the peak of success in their career.

It is necessary to remember – that the taller the tree grows the deeper it also goes beneath the ground! That’s its balance! And so these natives – especially the evolved souls having Rahu in Uttarashadha understands the significance of living a balanced life.

Interestingly Rahu in Capricorn natives are attracted naturally towards Rahu in Cancer natives – this is indeed a new subject – the dynamic of Rahu to Rahu attractions!

Rahu in Cancer is more focused on self growth – whereas Rahu in Capricorn is more focused on career growth. Rahu in Cancer makes you introvert, Rahu in Uttarashadha makes you extrovert. Rahu in Cancer is emotional – Rahu in Uttarashadha is practical. And this quality of practicality becomes an asset on which Rahu in Uttarashadha natives build the empire of their material successes.

Rahu Uttarashadha natives simply believe that :

“Without vision you don’t SEE. And without PRACTICALITY the bills don’t get paid.”

If you have a husband or wife having Rahu in Uttarashadha then you don’t have to worry much about bank savings or money as such because these natives through their practicality ensure that you never run out of money. As long as you remain with these natives – you will never fall short of money because they know very well the art of earning money!

“MAKING MONEY IS ART AND WORKING IS ART AND GOOD BUSINESS IS THE BEST ART”
-ANDY WARHOL

Rahu Uttarashadha are not just good at making money but they also are good when it comes to saving money for the rainy day!

Capricorn is the only zodiac sign that by nature is stingy – and so it is good in saving money. And because it is good in saving money – it has given birth to many rich men and women across this world – because the formula is simple – the more you are stingy – the more you go on saving and the more you go on saving money the more you continue to become richer and richer.

Rahu in Capricorn simply exaggerates the nature of saving which is not a bad quality but anything done TOO MUCH becomes an obsession and obsession leads to miseries.

Sun and Capricorn – both are highly ambitious by nature. And so natives having Rahu in Uttarashadha does extremely well in their career simply because they are good in dealing with people, they understand the dynamics of establishing and maintaining relationships and as mentioned in the very beginning of this sharing that these native are good in social networking and all of these qualities gives them a lead in their political career if they are politicians and indeed natives having Rahu in Uttarashadha does extremely well in Politics.

Remind me of the Late President of India – Sri Pranab Mukherjee. The only man who could have saved the Congress part from sinking had he been given the authority to lead the party. He was called as the “Sankat Mochan” (problem solver) when UPA was in power. A highly diplomatic and good hearted person – Sri Parnab Mukherjee is indeed a shining example of Rahu in Uttarashadha Nakshatra.

Capricorn is closely associated with Politics, Sun is highly opinionated and has its own ideology and Rahu is indeed a born politician – and so Rahu in Uttarashadha does provide a very strong political inclination which if receives good support from other planets in the chart then the person can rise high in his or her political career. Sri Pranab Mukherjee became the President of India – he had a very strong political background, he came from a political family.

“I come from a political family. My father was a freedom fighter. He was a prominent leader of the locality and member of the Congress party. He spent 10 years in British prisons. In the evening, in our living room, the only subject we used to discuss was politics. So politics was not unfamiliar to me.”
-Pranab Mukherjee

In picture with PM Modi. PM Modi bows before Pranab Mukherjee to seek his blessings. Prime Minister Narendra Modi describes President Pranab Mukherjee as a “university in himself”. Prime Minister Modi quotes:

“President Sri Pranab Mukherjee is a university in himself. He is an ocean of knowledge. If anybody asks me what is the biggest benefit of becoming the Prime Minister, I will say that I got an opportunity to be close to him. Whenever I meet him, he is so full of knowledge that he explains everything so minutely along with his own personal experience.” – PM Modi

Such is the potential of Rahu in Uttarashadha – that you can attain the height of success in your professional career – be it in politics or any field of service.

Rahu in Uttarashadha is a ‘special fuel’ that can drive you to great heights of success – especially if you are an artist, a dancer or a singer! Reminds me of Elvis Presley – the American singer and actor. Dubbed as the “King of Rock and Roll”, he is regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century.

Recognized as the best-selling solo music artist of all time by Guinness World Records, Presley was commercially successful in many genres, including pop, country, R&B, adult contemporary, and gospel. He won three Grammy Awards, received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at age 36, and has been inducted into multiple music halls of fame.

Elvis Presley had Rahu in Uttarashadha Nakshatra. And he was not only a great legendary singer and actor but also a great human being who believed in Jesus.

“I am not the King.
JESUS CHRIST IS THE KING.
I’m just an entertainer.”
-Elvis Presley

Uttarashadha is ruled by SUN and SUN cannot stand LIES – SUN is all for the TRUTH. You can see this quality of seeking the TRUTH – believing in the TRUTH – emphasized by RAHU in UTTARASHADHA. Elvis Presley himself was a follower of the TRUTH.

“Truth is like the sun. You can shut it out for a time, but it ain’t goin’ away.”
-Elvis Presley

Elvis Presley – the man who took the whole world in his hands by his mind blowing performances – dies at an early age of 42.

The other person that I am reminded of is the famous American talk show host, television producer, actress, author – Oprah Winfrey. Inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame Oprah Winfrey has won many accolades throughout her career which includes 18 Daytime Emmy Awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award. The most common line for all the successful Rahu in Uttarashadha Nakshatra natives is that they all are born in poor family but with their talent, skills and determination they rose to great heights thereby becoming rich and famous. Oprah Winfrey was born in poor family as well as Elvis Presley was also born in poor family. And who knows there must be many men and women having Rahu in Uttarashadha Nakshatra – who may have attained peak of success but remained unknown to the public in general!

Uttarashadha being a Nakshatra of Sun – it brings a certain level of individuality to the native. The native loves to live his or her life by being yourself.

“Don’t settle for a relationship that won’t let you be yourself.”
-Oprah Winfrey

Being significant – is a quality of SUN. And Uttarashadha the nakshatra of SUN falling in a ambitious hard working sign of Capricorn does make you significant and when you become significant, success follows you naturally!

“Don’t worry about being successful but work toward being significant and the success will naturally follow.”
– Oprah Winfrey

It is difficult to demotivate or discourage a native having Rahu in Uttarashadha Nakshatra – simply because he or she focused on NOT what people say about them but what they know about themselves!

“Don’t get confused with what people say you are, with who you know you are.”
-Oprah Winfrey

The qualities of SUN – Uttarshadha – and the foundation of SATURN (Capricorn) is very cleverly utilized by Mr. Rahu. The other word for RAHU is CLEVER.

Being clever can help you attain success in material world – but that’s all. The other world – the unseen world – the spiritual world is accessible only when you stop being clever and start becoming wise.

“YESTERDAY I WAS CLEVER, SO I WANTED TO CHANGE THE WORLD. TODAY I AM WISE, SO I AM CHANGING MYSELF.”
-Rumi

In this material world – people would always want you to be clever. Reminds me of a beautiful story…

There was a young man and his name was Bhola. And he was just like his name – Bhola means innocent. His sweet smile, his beautiful eyes, his innocence – God loved this man. And when Bhola used to pray – his prayer was also very simply – he would simply sit on the ground – fold his hands and say “God I love you and so I have no questions to ask, no complaints to make – I simply love you.”

That’s all what his prayer was! And people of the town simply made fun of him. They started calling him an idiot. They would say “You are an idiot.” Slowly slowly his father, his mother, his uncles, the neighbors, and everybody started calling him an idiot. And then when everybody starts calling you an idiot – it is natural that you also would start believing that you must be an idiot. How can so many people be wrong?

Days passed and Bhola became old but still people would continue to perceive him as an idiot. He tried hard to change the perception of the people but it was not possible. That is very human. Once a man goes mad he may become normal again but nobody is going to take him as normal. He may do something normal but you will suspect that there must be something insane about it. And your suspicion will make him hesitant and his hesitancy will make your suspicion stronger; then there is a vicious circle. So Bhola tried in every possible way to look wise, to do wise things, but whatsoever he did people would always say it was idiotic.

Then one day – in his town came an old Sufi Saint. And the Sufi Saint stayed beneath a tree – a huge banyan tree. Bhola was walking on the road when he came across this Sufi Saint. Bhola was take aback. Because the same Sufi Saint had been appearing his dream for last ten years. His eyes became wet, tears started flowing through his eyes – he rushed towards the Sufi Saint and the Sufi Saint – his name was Baba Farid. And Baba Farid was one of the greatest Sufi Saint that the world had ever known – his way was very unique – he was very tall and very humorous by nature. People would simply love to be in his omni presence. But at this time – there was nobody around him – he was alone and Bhola rushed and touched his feet…..Baba Farid looked very strict from outside but from inside he was very soft and sweet. Looking at Bhola – Baba said “ Bhola for what have you come to me? What is it that you want from me?”

Bhola was surprised because he was meeting Baba for the first time in his life and yet Baba knew his name! Bhola said “Baba please help me to get out of this locked state. I am sealed in. They don’t let me out; they have not left any window or door open so that I can jump out. And whatsoever I do, even if it is exactly the same as they do, still I am an idiot. They call me idiot from the day I was 15. What should I do?”

Baba Farid smiled and said “Do just one thing. Whenever somebody says, ’Look how beautiful the sunset is,’ you say, “you idiot, prove it! What is beautiful there? I don’t see any beauty. You prove it.’ If somebody says, ’Look at that beautiful rose flower,’ catch hold of him and tell him, ’Prove it! What grounds have you to call this ordinary flower beautiful? There have been millions of rose flowers. There are millions, there will be millions in the future; what special thing has this rose flower got? And what are your fundamental reasons which prove logically that this rose flower is beautiful?’

“If somebody says,’This book of Leo Tolstoy is very beautiful,’ just catch hold of him and ask him,’Prove where it is beautiful; what is beautiful in it? It is just an ordinary story — just the same story which has been told millions of times, just the same triangle in every story: either two men and one woman or two women and one man, but the same triangle. All love stories are triangles. So what is new in it?”‘

The man said, “That’s right. I will follow your orders.”

Baba Farid said, “Don’t miss any chance, because nobody can prove these things; they are unprovable. And when they cannot prove it, they will look idiotic and they will stop calling you an idiot. Next time, when I return, just give me the information how things are going.”

Days and months passed by. After five years Baba Farid comes to the same town. And before he could meet Bhola – the idiot, people of the town came and said to Baba Farid ““A miracle has happened. We had an idiot in our town; he has become the wisest man. We would like you to meet him.”

Baba Farid knew who that “wisest man” was. He said, “I would certainly love to see him. In fact I was hoping to meet him.”

Baba Farid was taken to the idiot and the idiot said, “You are a miracle-worker, a miracle man. The trick worked! I simply started calling everyone an idiot, stupid. Somebody would be talking of love, somebody would be talking of beauty, somebody would be talking of art, painting, sculpture, and my standpoint was the same: ’Prove it!’ And because they could not prove it, they looked idiotic. And it is a strange thing. I was never hoping to gain this much out of it. All that I wanted was to get out of that confirmed idiocy. It is strange that now I am no longer an idiot, I have become the most wise man, and I know I am the same — and you know it too.”

Baba Farid smiled and said, “Never tell this secret to anybody else. Keep the secret to yourself. This is how things go on in this human world.”

This human world is a shallow world. In this world – you are judged based on the questions you ask – and not the answers you give! Always remember – question is of the MIND – answer is of the HEART.

“The mind has no answers, it has only questions.
Meditation has only answers and no questions, and meditation is a state of no-mind.”
-OSHO

The more you are caught up in your mind – the more you would have questions and the more questions you have the more you would be considered as CLEVER and INTELLECTUAL by this human world. The more you are engrossed in your heart – the more you would have answers but no questions! And a man who has no questions is labelled by this shallow human world as an idiot! That is why Baba Farid advised Bhola to start asking questions – and then when he started asking questions suddenly he became the most clever man of the town! Strange is this human world and strange are its ways!

Rahu in Uttarashadha however is a perfect placement that signify that the person is clever.

Being clever is not bad – but being wise is much better than being clever! A wise person would simply never get in a situational problem by avoiding it completely while a clever person may get in a difficult situation which he would have to resolve by being clever!

“A clever person solves a problem.
A wise person avoids it.”
-Albert Einstein

Overall for practical life – for living in a material world – this Rahu in Uttarashadha is a perfect placement because it provides you with all the intellectualism and cleverness that you need to carve a way for yourself.

However for spiritual progress – natives having this placement should take special efforts by turning inwards – by meditating – by chanting the name of the Lord – every day without fail.

A child born with Rahu in Uttarashadha always makes his or her way and attains success in career – especially when Saturn and Sun is well placed in the birth chart.

Rahu in Uttarashadha does well for natives born on Virgo, Gemini, Libra, Capricorn, Taurus and Aquarius Ascendant however this Rahu does exceptionally well for natives born on:

  1. Scorpio Ascendant
  2. Leo Ascendant
  3. Pisces Ascendant

The very essence or meaning of UTTARA SHADHA is – attaining victory in life but at later phase of life!

And so people having Rahu In Uttarashadha usually attain success at later stage of life – as you may have seen through the examples of Elvis Presley and Oprah Winfrey or for instance the late President Pranab Mukherjee – they all attained great heights in their professional life but at a later stage. Their story is typically of a struggling man or woman who eventually attains success in life. Late fortune is a trademark of Uttarashadha Nakshatra.

The deity of Uttarashadha Nakshatra is Varaha – the third incarnation or avatar of Lord Vishnu. For those who are based outside India – in simple words if I have to explain then VARAHA is a WILD BOAR.

Lord Vishnu appeared as WILD BOAR – and this WILD BOAR because it is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu – and it represents the star UTTARASHADHA – the deity of UTTARSHADA is a divine wild boar called VARAHA.

One who worships Lord Varaha – receives the blessings of Uttarashadha Nakshatra. In India – Varaha Jayanti is celebrated in the month of September and what a beautiful coincidence that this month is also the month of September as I am sharing insights on Uttarashadha – the Nakshatra ruled by Lord Varaha!

I humbly prostrate before Lord Varaha – the God of Strength & Vitality. May HIS blessings shower upon me and all my followers.

Rahu in Uttarashadha native should never marry a woman having Rahu in Ashlesha – simply because they are enemies of each other! Ashlesha is represented by a snake – whereas Uttarashadha is represented by a mongoose. And as you all know – Snake & Mongoose are bitter enemies of each other – so ideally natives having Rahu in Ashlesha and Rahu in Uttarashadha should never associate with each other unless there is a compulsion!

Rahu in Nakshatras is indeed a major subject of study for marriage match making which generally nobody takes into consideration and that is where the point is missed, it is simply missed.

Mohan asked “Which tree is sacred for Uttarashada Nakshatra – which tree should we worship to attain Uttarashada’s blessings?”

The tree that Uttarashadha relates with is the tree of Jackfruit!

Incidentally Jackfruit is Singapore’s national fruit!

And I will tell you all a secret of Jackfruit – the secret of Jackfruit is that whosoever plants this wonderful tree of heavens – always prospers in life. Jackfruit is indeed a fruit of prosperity!

To overcome the negative effects of Rahu in Uttarashadha – the native should offer Jackfruit to Lord Vishnu and if possible also plant a tree of Jackfruit in his backyard or garden. Reciting the holy mantra of Lord Vishnu – “Aum Vishnave Namaha – 108 times every morning and evening for minimum 20 minutes using a Sphatik Japa Mala is also very helpful in ovvercoming the TOO AMBITIOUS nature of Uttarashadha Rahu!

Always remember Ambition appears as GOOD but in reality this AMBITION is poison that goes on killing you every day and the best part is – you never come to know until you die – until you take your last breath.

Ambition is the greatest poison there is. It brings all the other poisons: greed, violence, competitiveness, struggle, a constant state of war with everybody else. It does not allow you any space for love to grow and your real being flowers only with love. Ambition is against love. And anything that is against love is against you and your real life, your real destiny. And nothing kills love more than ambitiousness.

“The wheel of life goes round and round on the axle of ambition – hell. It is this fever of ambition that poisons life. Among the most serious diseases and mental troubles that man has known, there is no greater disease than ambition – because a mind which is disturbed by the wind of ambition is not destined to have peace, music and bliss. Such a person is not at home in himself and peace, music and bliss are the outcome of being at home in oneself. A person who is not at home within himself is diseased, he is only healthy when he is at home there.”
-Osho

In practical life – it is not bad to dream of attaining something but you should know when to STOP and where to STOP – and if you are not able to do so then you become Alexander – the Great who died in utter disappointment – the last words of Alexander – the Great who spend his whole life in conquering the whole world but failed – his last words were – “ALL IS VANITY.”

And for this vanity – he spend his whole life – what a tragedy! The last moment of Alexander’s life is worth mentioning:

The sun was setting, Alexander was dying. He was dying in his golden palace. He had the most beautiful palace that anybody has ever had before or since. He had all the power that a man can have and all the riches and all the beautiful women. He had all the greatest physicians of the world to take care of him and he was not very old, but he was dying.

And the physicians said, ‘Now we are helpless.’ He wanted to be alive at least twenty-four hours more, just twenty-four hours, because he wanted to see his mother. He had promised his mother that he would come back. He had to go and conquer the world, but when he was leaving he promised his mother that he would come back. And the distance was very little but at least twenty-four hours were needed to reach there, or for the mother to be brought to him. And he only wanted to live for twenty-four hours more – with all the wealth of the world and all the power of the world – but the physician said, ‘It is impossible. You cannot live for even twenty-four minutes. Life is disappearing, slipping away. We are sorry but we cannot do anything.’

Lying on a golden couch studded with valuable diamonds, how helpless Alexander must have felt. He was just asking for twenty-four hours – not much. Not much at least for an Alexander. He was not a beggar. Twenty four hours for a man like Alexander was not too much but even that was not possible.

And when the last flicker of life was disappearing he opened his eyes, looked-at his gold palace, his generals standing around him, his immensely costly couch on which he was dying – a poor man, a beggar – and he laughed at the whole ridiculousness of it. And he wanted only twenty-four hours!

These were his last words. He said, ‘All is vanity,’ closed his eyes and died.

‘All is vanity.’ And he struggled his whole life for this vanity. He died a poor man, empty, exhausted, utterly disillusioned.

Let this not happen with you – wake up before it is too late – Alexander wanted only twenty four hours – but even that was denied. You all have time – time to introspect – time to turn inwards – time to attain the real growth. Real growth is the growth within – real growth is based on how many years you have spend in realizing your SELF – how many years you have spend in taking the necessary efforts to move beyond the mind by chanting – by meditating every day?

The answer that you write for these questions – will decide your future course of birth and rebirth. Always remember – there is no such thing as MOKSHA or LIBERATION after death – if liberation has to happen than that has to happen NOW – in this birth itself – while you are ALIVE. What is liberation?

Liberation is the state of NO MIND. BUDDHA is the state of NO MIND. Take efforts to move beyond MIND – remember if at all you want to progress on your spiritual path then this birth – this planet – this place is to do it.

“Don’t depend on death to liberate you from your imperfections. You are exactly the same after death as you were before. Nothing changes; you only give up the body. If you are a thief or a liar or a cheater before death, you don’t become an angel merely by dying. If such were possible, then let us all go and jump in the ocean now and become angels at once! Whatever you have made of yourself thus far, so will you be hereafter. And when you reincarnate, you will bring that same nature with you. To change, you have to make the effort. This world is the place to do it.”
-PARAMAHANSA YOGANANDA

Love to all my readers, followers and fellow travelers. Rahu may provide you material success but you remain utterly poor within as long as you don’t embark on the greatest journey of life – the journey within.

Remember to meditate every day. Start with chanting the holy mantra of your choice and when you chant do not entertain any thoughts – continue to focus on your breathing while you chant…and when you chant – chant with love – with devotion and with TOTAL SURRENDER.

Love to all my close followers. Learn to live your life by surrendering to God – that is the surest way to happiness.

Stay blessed.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Rahu In Kritika

Kritika is HOT. But this Hotness is not of Mars – this Hotness is of Sun – the source of our universe! Mar’s hotness is simply sexual. Sun’s hotness is highly spiritual. Understand the difference. Savor the difference.

Placed in the fiery sign of Aries & romantic sign of Taurus – Kritika, the Nakshatra of the Star – Sun is all fired up to get things done! The fire to LEARN, the courage to take RISKS is what makes Kritika a very special Nakshatra. And when Rahu is in Kritika – these qualities simply are exaggerated.

So now you have a Kritika Rahu native whose desire is to learn as much as he or she can, do something unique, to have some adventure in life – basically the native wants some action, some spice, some thrill in life!

With most of its time being spent in the sign of Taurus (2nd, 3rd 4th Pada falling in Taurus) – the native having Rahu in Krittika Taurus – does demand a good lifestyle that has all the luxuries and pleasures to offer.

Rahu in Aries – Kritika First Pada is the only black spot – otherwise Rahu in Taurus in all the remaining 3 Padas is an excellent placement for the native.

Kritika Rahu in Aries is not comfortable considering Mars is enemy to Rahu. However the same Kritika Rahu in Taurus becomes a great booster for the native’s career and overall growth.

Action is what Kritika wants. Kritika is closely related to Lord Kartikeya – and Lord Kartikeya was a great Kshatriya warrior – he was the brother of Shri Ganesha and was known for his valor and courage.

Lord Kartikeya is also known as Lord Murugan in South India. HE is the Warrior-GOD.

Rahu In Kritika Nakshatra

And so when Rahu falls in Krittika then the person becomes a highly action oriented person. It is a good quality – because there are many who continue to dream but never take the necessary action. To achieve your dreams – you need to ACT first. That is exactly what Rahu in Krittika natives are good at – they take ACTION – they are highly action oriented fellows, they will simply JUMP first and then think!

“THE SECRET OF GETTING THINGS DONE IS TO ACT!”
-DANTE ALIGHIERI

In one of the greatest book of wisdom – Dasbodh – written by Saint Samarath Ramdas, it is mentioned in Marathi:

||केल्याने होत आहे रे आधी केलेची पाहिजे ||

Which means: “By doing it happens, so first you should DO IT.”

Saint Ramdas simply wants you to realize that ACTION is required – only by taking ACTION you can achieve your dreams, your goals, and your mission.

A true seeker should definitely read the wonderful insightful divine book of wisdom: DASBODH – (DAS means Servant and BODH means Self-Realization/Wisdom.)

Rahu In Kritika Nakshatra

Around 500 years ago Samarth Ramdas Swami scripted this divine book which is now being translated in English for a wider reach.

Krittika is good at taking ACTION. Now it all depends on what is the quality of your horoscope? Are you an evolved soul? Are you a meditative being? Because only then can you use this ACTION ORIENTED quality of Krittika for a GOOD CAUSE – GOOD PURPOSE.

Ignorant – negative folks having Rahu in Kritika can simply spoil their life by hurting others. So it is important to note that RAHU IN KRITTIKA is very sensitive placement because either you can become a good fighter who fights for a good cause – OR – you may simply continue to hurt others by your insensitive comments and actions. And so it is necessary that the overall planetary placement is positive in nature – and the person is an evolved soul.

When it is Krittika – some insensitiveness comes by default. Now this insensitiveness can actually become an asset for someone who is aspiring to join the Military or Police force. So it all depends on where the “seed” falls!

Krittika, Uttara Phaluguni & Uttarashada – all three belong to Lord Sun!

Krittika being a Nakshatra of Sun and placed in the Sign of Mars & Venus – these native are highly active. They have a certain charm to their personality. You can say that they are the ‘downtown’. A downtown has the charm and is full of activities and looks very lively!

“A downtown is the center of a community, the pulse….when it dies, your town dies.”
-Chuck Comaeu

When I flew to the US for the very first time in the October of 2006 – I wasn’t aware of what this “downtown” is all about! But then on the second day of my trip – a close American friend told me that “downtown” is the main city area where all business activities takes place. Across the US – every city has a downtown!

So you see – KRITTIKA is the downtown – a activity hub – a place where ACTION takes place.

Incidentally men and women born on Krittika Nakshatra are also highly action oriented. Never mess with a woman having her moon in Krittika Nakshatra – she will not hesitate to give you a nice kick if she know how to do Karate or if she knows a bit about boxing!

I love and respect Krittika because we need brave, courageous men and women who can dare to FIGHT BACK. We need fighters who will fight against injustice, against corruption, against inequality. Krittika Rahu natives has that “fuel” to fight for their rights as well as for other’s rights.

“My Birth Right” is a favorite phrase of Krittika Rahu natives as well as those born on Krittika Nakshatra! They always want to secure their rights – be it human rights, legal rights – but they want to ensure that they get what they are entitled for.

Reminds me of Martin Luther King – who fought for Black Americans. King participated in and led marches for blacks’ right to vote, desegregation, labor rights, and other basic civil rights.

You see Rahu in Kritika brings such courage to fight against inequality and injustice. King was awarded the Noble Prize on October 14, 1964.

“Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.”
-Martin Luther King

You see – the spark of Sun’s Nakshatra Krittika and how this spark becomes a great light when Rahu falls in Kritika! Martin Luther King had Rahu in Krittika and his great struggle for basic human rights for the Black Americans is simply inexpressible in words.

An evolved soul having Rahu in Kritika Nakshtra will NEVER stand injustice – he will fight back for justice.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

Rahu Krittika natives rejoice when they are able to FIGHT BACK and attain the crown of Righteousness.

“THE SECRET OF GETTING THINGS DONE IS TO ACT!”
-DANTE ALIGHIERI

It is always good to have a friend having Rahu in Krittika or Moon in Krittika because such a friend has the courage to fight for you – especially if you are being sidelined or mistreated by others. These natives will give you confidence by saying “Don’t worry – I am here for you.”

Rahu In Kritika Nakshatra

Rahu Krittika natives are those kind of friends who will remain with you – when the whole world goes against you or condemns you. They are the “Karna” of this modern AGE.

“A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.”
-WALTER WINCHELL

Reminds me of a beautiful story – the story of two friends on the backdrop of the Second World War.

Two soldiers were very friendly, great friends. One evening one soldier comes back to the trench but finds that his friend has not returned. Many people have been killed on the front. He becomes afraid — is his friend killed?

He enquires, and then somebody says, ‘We are not certain that he is killed, but he was so terribly wounded that it was impossible for him to come to the trench. By now he must be dead.’

It is getting dark now and the enemy is still firing madly but the soldier wants to go and search for his friend.

The officer says, ‘No, this is foolish’, but he doesn’t listen to the officer — he goes.

It is very difficult in the dark and there are thousands of corpses all around.

He looks and looks and in the middle of the night he returns — dragging his friend’s dead body on his back. He himself is now terribly wounded, mortally wounded… he cannot survive.

The moment he reaches the trench he falls on the floor with the body of his dead friend.

The officer comes and he says, ‘I told you not to be foolish! It was not worth it. Now you know what you have done to yourself. The friend is dead and you are dying!’

The dying man opened his eyes and he said, ‘But it was worth it — because when I went there, he looked at me and he said, “Jim, I knew you would come.”‘

For love, life can be sacrificed — it is worth it.

“We have been taught just the contrary: sacrifice everything just to be alive; just to survive, sacrifice everything. I teach you the contrary: to be loving, sacrifice everything.” – Osho

Such is the spirit of Krittika Nakshatra. The spirit of Love – the spirit of sacrificing everything for a higher cause – a higher purpose!

But unfortunately many people and so called pundits have simply defamed this beautiful fiery NAKSHATRA – simply because they cannot stand the TRUTH – they are wolves and NOT tigers like Krittika Nakshatra!

Rahu exaggerates the matters of life to which it is associated with. Similarly now that Rahu is in Krittika – the base desire of the native is – attaining social status, prestige & power, pleasures of this human world, luxurious life & a constant active life!

People having Rahu in Krittika generally don’t like to retire. Retirement is not something they desire for – they want to continue working until they take their last breath.

“Work is the basis of living. I’ll never retire. A man’ll rust out quicker than he’ll wear out.”
-Colonel Sanders

The wise NEVER retires. I have been with great spiritual masters and I have seen them fully active in serving people until their last breath – and so one should NEVER retire. You may get an official retirement after the age of 58 in a government office however you should ensure that you remain active by doing something constructive for the society in general.

Family, Wealth, Accumulation of wealth, treasury is what the native is obsessed with. POWER is what they want – but this power is basically to strengthen their treasury and bank balance – they want power to secure their future.

Taurus is a sign that deals with the practicalities of life. It is highly romantic – but you should remember that the word ROMANCE is defined as ADVENTURE in the English dictionary. And so Taurus men and women go through many adventures in life – some are tragic – some are enlightening – but there is always action in their life. Being a Sun’s Nakshatra – the native is more individualistic – he follows his heart – he believe in living life by being yourself.

Sun’s sharpness comes naturally to a Rahu Kritika native. Being ethical, being truthful, being sincere and most importantly – taking the lead – taking the initiative is something that Rahu Krittika native loves to do. Reminds me of Benjamin Franklin – one of the founding father of the US and the author of the essay – Way to Wealth. Benjamin had Rahu in Kritika Nakshatra. If you visit the White House – then you will see the photo of Benjamin Franklin hanging on the wall of the Oval office.

Rahu In Krittika Nakshatra

How significant must be this genius man – Benjamin Franklin! Just near the resolute desk – the desk of the US President – you will see only Benjamin Franklin’s photo hanged on the wall! In fact Benjamin Franklin photo is also imprinted on most of the US currency notes.

Rahu In Krittika Nakshatra

Krittika is the first Nakshtra in the zodiac cycle that belongs to Lord Sun – and so the sharpness, the intelligence, the genius quality is indeed a boon of Kritika Nakshatra! Benjamin Franklin is one fine example of Rahu in Krittika Nakshatra!

The Way to Wealth is an essay written by Benjamin Franklin in 1758. It is a collection of adages and advice presented in Poor Richard’s Almanac during its first 25 years of publication. The essay is organized into a speech given by “Father Abraham” to a group of people. Many of the phrases Father Abraham quotes continue to be familiar today. The essay’s advice is based on the themes of work ethic.

Rahu in Krittika are highly faithful beings -and it is clearly seen through the quote of Benjamin Franklin:

“I have lived, Sir, a long time and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth — that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings that “except the Lord build they labor in vain that build it.” I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without his concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better than the Builders of Babel”
-BENJAMIN FRANKLIN

Greatness comes when you surrender to God – when you have deep faith in God. Benjamin Franklin expresses his faith in God is such a beautiful way – I am touched.

Famously known as “The Little Flower of Jesus” – Thérèse of Lisieux also has Rahu in Kritika Nakshatra. Born as Marie Françoise-Thérèse – she felt an early call to religious life and after overcoming various obstacles in 1888, at the early age of 15 she became a nun. The Catholic Church later revered her as Saint Therese.

As mentioned earlier this bright star of Sun – Kritika has given birth to many great personalities of which some I have mentioned through this sharing.

Rahu In Krittika Nakshatra

Incidentally another famous Saint – Saint Mother Terresa also has Rahu in Kritika Nakshatra. Krittika Rahu in the sixth house (Taurus Sign) of her Ascendant chart shows her obsession towards serving the under privileged. Sixth house – a perfect place that signify the desire to serve the diseased, orphan, unhealthy, oppressed and those men and women who are in some kind of trouble or problem. Sixth house typically signify servitude – and Rahu in 6th house signify that the person loves to provide SERVICE to others.

“The fruit of love is service. The fruit of service is peace. And peace begins with a smile.”
-Mother Teresa

Kritika is a Warrior’s Nakshatra. And a true warrior is not the one who sheds blood of innocent men and women – but one who sacrifices himself for the GOOD of OTHERS. Rahu in Krittika Nakshatra in an evolved soul’s chart can give such fantastic results – can make you less selfish and more selfless.

“Warriors are not what you think of as warriors. The warrior is not someone who fights, for no one has the right to take another life. The warrior, for us, is the one who sacrifices himself for the good of others. His task is to take care of the elderly, the defenseless, those who cannot provide for themselves, and above all, the children, the future of humanity.”
-Sitting Bull

Kritika can do something new – that is out of the blue. Kritika can make history. That is what Hillary Clinton did when she became the FIRST AMERICAN WOMAN to contest the 2016 US Presidential Elections! Hillary Clinton made history – she has Rahu in Kritika Nakshatra – so you see the power of Kritika! A woman having Rahu in Kritika is a fortunate placement because in this AGE – a woman need to have fighting spirit – not giving up spirit!

So Kritika is a Nakshatra that can carve its own name in gold! It has the ability to bring a certain uniqueness to your individuality and Rahu in Kritika does bring along some uniqueness to the native’s individuality.

Mohan asked “What is the spiritual significance of Kritika Nakshatra?”

I said to Mohan “You have asked what others won’t think of asking. I will tell you now – the spiritual significance of this great magnanimous Nakshtra – Krittika.

Krittika Nakshatra is connected with Lord Dattatray.

Lord Dattatreya is represented as having three faces, one of Lord Brahma, the second of Lord Vishnu and the third of Lord Siva. In simple words – it signifies that this is the only deity that has attained the strength of Brahma, Vishnu & Mahesh (Shiva). All the three Gunas – RAJAS (ROYAL), SATVIC (PIOUS) and TAMAS (Fighter) are found in Lord Dattatreya and so one who worships Lord Dattatreya – attains the blessings of all the three DEVTAS – BRAMHA, VISHNU, SHIVA. He becomes invincible – he attains great spiritual heights.

Now you must be wondering that what connects Krittika with Lord Dattatray?

The bridge that connects Kritika with Lord Dattatray is the holy Audumbar Tree.

Audumbar OR Udumbara is known as Blue Lotus in Buddhism. In English – it is called “The Redwood Fig or Cluster Fig Tree.) This divine tree is the favorite of Lord Dattatray and the tree that comes under Krittika Nakshatra is also the Audumbar Tree! So those who have RAHU in Krittika should definitely worship this holy divine tree – Audumbar on every Thursday. Thursday is the day of Lord Dattatray and across India – especially in the State of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujrat – the divine tree Audumbur is worshipped by the devotees of Lord Dattatreya.

The significance and importance of the greatest diety that the world had ever known is found in the golden words of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi:

“Dattatreya is the universal Guru, isn’t he? And he has said that the whole world was his Guru. If you look at evil you feel you should not do it. So he said evil also was his Guru. If you see good, you would wish to do it; so he said that good also was his Guru; both good and evil, he said, were his Gurus. It seems that he asked a hunter which way he should go, but the latter ignored his question, as he was intent upon his aim to shoot a bird above. Dattatreya saluted him, saying, ‘You are my Guru! Though killing the bird is bad, keeping your aim so steadfast in shooting the arrow as to ignore my query is good, thereby teaching me that I should keep my mind steadfast and fixed on Ishwara. You are therefore my Guru.’ In the same way he looked upon everything as his Guru, till in the end he said that his physical body itself was a Guru, as its consciousness does not exist during sleep and the body that does not exist should therefore not be confused with the soul — dehatmabhavana (the feeling that the body is the soul). Therefore that too was a Guru for him. While he looked upon the whole world as his Guru, the whole world worshipped him as its Guru.”

Just look at the positivism! The hunter ignores Lord Dattatreya – but HE makes the Hunter as his Guru because through him – he has learned something new. See the positivism, see the quality of constant learning…..from situations! I humbly prostrate to the deity of my many past births – Lord Dattatreya.

Rahu In Krittika Nakshatra

One who worships the divine TREE – AUDUMBUR (cluster fig tree) receives the blessings from Lord Dattareya and Kritika Nakshatra as well.

The first Nakshatra of the Zodiac Cycle is Ketu’s Nakshatra – ASHWINI. From NOTHINGNESS (Ketu) we are born.

The second Nakshatra of the Zodiac Cycle is Venus Nakshtra – BHARNI. This beautiful human body, all the organs of this human body are the blessings of BHARANI – Goddess Venus.

And the third Nakshatra of the Zodiac Cycle is Sun’s Nakshatra – Kritika. Body is formed but CONSCIOUSNESS – AWARENESS comes through the divine light of the SUN – Krittika.

To such a sharp, fiery Nakshatra of Sun – Kritika, I humbly prostrate and pray that may all my readers are blessed by its divine light!

Rahu In Krittika Nakshatra

Always remember – SUFFERING is necessary as long as you are ‘asleep’. The moment you wake up – suffering ceases to exist – then you truly start enjoying every moment of life – the key is to wake-up and that is possible only when you start turning inwards and realize that the light of consciousness is within you.

The fire of suffering becomes the light of consciousness! So stop whining over your suffering and start learning from your suffering – the more you learn the more you become aware and then this awareness will burn up your ignorance.

The key is to meditate. The key is to devote your time to God. The key is to start chanting the holy mantra – Aum Ram Krishna Hari. Aum Ram Krishna Hari. Aum Ram Krishna Hari.

You will realize the power of chanting only when you start chanting – so get started, because life is short – I may be dead by tomorrow – you may be dead by tomorrow – we never know when the exit call would come – we never know when death will strike us – so use this precious moment to grow inside out – for the real growth is the growth within.

“Before death comes use the opportunity of life to attain something which is beyond death.”
-OSHO

Meditate every day.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru. 🙏

Rahu and Second Marriage Link

In the ancient Indian context (Sanatana Dharma) – Lord Rama is the most ideal husband. And there is a very significant reason for this.

The reason is – His Ek-Patni (one-wife) commitment!

In the whole history of Indian Mythology – it is only Lord Rama who was committed to ONE WIFE – he never married twice – he never had a SECOND WIFE or THIRD WIFE or many more wives as other Hindu Lords had!

Lord Ganesha had more than one wife.

Lord Krishna had more than one wife.

Lord Shiva had more than one wife.

Lord Vishnu had more than one wife.

However it is only Lord Rama who had one wife – he was totally committed to his consort – Sita. He never married twice – he remained committed to his first wife – Sita!

Many people across this human world read the holy scripture “Ramayana”. But many are not aware that there exists many versions of Ramayana – the most known are “Tulsi Ramayana” written by the great Saint Tulsidas and the much realistic Ramayana – written by the great Sage – Valmiki!

Tulsidas loved Rama so much that he cannot mention even the slightest weak point of Rama! However Valmiki has been able to do so – because he was not a devotee of Rama and so Saint Valmiki – in Valmiki Ramayana mentions that before getting married to Sita – Rama had seen her in a garden and at that moment itself he had fallen in love! So the love between Rama and Sita was a first sight love!

Valmiki narrates that Rama comes to the city where Sita lives and wandering in a garden – sees Sita and falls in love with her. This is inconceivable to us – but it is a reality. Love happened to Rama before marriage. Marriage came afterward just as a supplement to love. To Sita too, love happened the moment she saw this young man – Rama.

– Osho

The marriage that happened between Rama and Sita was indeed a Love Marriage!

But the common man cannot digest this fact – and so Tulsidas had to do some modifications – so that it goes well with the common man.

When you understand that Rama Sita’s marriage is based on LOVE – Deep Love – you will realize why Rama never had to marry twice – he couldn’t because he was so much in love with Sita!

The whole point of this sharing is that you understand that the FIRST MARRIAGE is extremely significant than the SECOND MARRIAGE!

“How?” asked Mohan.

First Marriage is signified by the 7th house.

However Second Marriage is signified by 11th house!

And 11th house is the house of DESIRE.

You see – and RAHU is DESIRE. Along with Saturn – Rahu also rules the sign Aquarius and the sign Aquarius falls in the 11th house of Kaal Purush Kundali!

Now the obvious question would be “First marriage also has manifested out of desire – so why first marriage is not under RAHU?”

Because – FIRST is FIRST. You never were married until you married for the FIRST TIME in life! So here you are NOT crossing the line – here your desire has manifested but NOT by crossing your boundaries!

However when you fell in love with another woman – and eventually marry her by divorcing your first wife who is still NOT dead – then you are crossing your boundary and RAHU signify all that which crosses the BOUNDARY – Rahu loves all that which BREAKS THE RULES – BREAKS THE TRADITION. Rahu signify all that is considered as immoral or unethical – and when you get into extra-marital relationship with another woman – then you are certainly following on the path of RAHU! And when you get married with that woman – you have entered the RAHU DOMAIN – and that is how it is observed by many scholars and pundits that – SECOND MARRIAGE has failed many times – than the THIRD MARRIAGE!

THIRD MARRIAGE comes under the domain of Mercury!

The 3rd house in the Kaal Purush Kundali is ruled by Gemini – the sign of Mercury. And 3rd house signify the third marriage.

Many times it happens that second marriage fails but third marriage succeeds. In fact I have met men and women who have found their third marriage – a turning point of their life!

When Mercury is well -placed and Yogakaraka then third marriage works very well!

So third marriage is generally not a problem – but the real problem, the real pain point is the SECOND MARRIAGE – I call it a RAHUISH MARRIAGE – because Rahu signify Second Marriage!

From statistics and historic records – even though SECOND MARRIAGE has always been more problematic and the cause of many miseries – still there are few men who have enjoyed their SECOND MARRIAGE than the FIRST! So how that happens?

It happens when RAHU is well-placed and YOGAKARAK. So when a man has a RAHU placed in positive NAKSHTRA and the NAKSHATRA LORD is also positively placed and is also YOGAKARAK then to such a man – the second wife proves beneficial in many ways!

But the buck doesn’t stop here.

Having a positively placed RAHU and RAHU’s Naksatra Lord is first part of the story – the second part is what decides the final outcome.

“What is the second part?” asked Mohan

The second and most important part is in which ASCENDANT sign the native is born?

RAHU dislikes the DHARMA SIGNS (Zodiac Signs that signify religion).

Rahu dislikes the MOKSHA SIGNS (Zodiac signs that signify liberation).

DHARMA SIGNS are LEO, SAGGITARRIUS, ARIES

MOKSHA SIGNS are CANCER, SCORPIO, PISCES

So SECOND WIFE can prove beneficial for only those natives who are born on the following Ascendant Signs:

  1. TAURUS
  2. GEMINI
  3. VIRGO
  4. LIBRA
  5. CAPRICORN
  6. AQUARIUS

So the basic ground – the basic foundation for these 6 ascendant signs is suitable for RAHU to play its second innings (second wife). Even if RAHU placement is not great still if the ascendant is one of these six zodiac sign then somehow the native can survive the second marriage!

However the challenge of second marriage is for those who are born on the following ASCENDANT SIGNS:

  1. ARIES
  2. CANCER
  3. LEO
  4. SCORPIO
  5. SAGGITARRIUS
  6. PISCES

Now imagine if RAHU is not placed well then how terribly the native belonging to these above Ascendant signs will have to suffer in their second marriage?

Marriage is not just limited to love and sex.

Relationship is limited to love and sex. Relationship brings no responsibilities. But Marriage brings many responsibilities. And so the very basic secret of judging whether your marriage will work or not is found in the placement of Saturn in your birth chart!

Saturn means Responsibilities. You feel burdened while carrying out your responsibilities when you do a certain work or certain thing because it is your duty.

However when you do a certain thing out of LOVE – you will feel NOT burdened but rather happy and lighter!

Marriage becomes A BURDEN when you take it as a part of your DUTY. However the same Marriage can become a great source of strength, a great source of motivation when your marriage is made of that special ingredient called LOVE!

First Marriage fails. Second Marriage fails – not because LOVE fails. LOVE NEVER FAILS. Lovers fail.

First Marriage can be arranged marriage or love marriage however SECOND MARRIAGE is mostly found to be LOVE MARRIAGE and there is absolutely no second thought to this fact.

The real beauty is in exploring the THIRD MARRIAGE!

THIRD MARRIAGE is generally born out of the quest for intellectualism. You are no more interested in finding a good looking, hot and sexy partner – you are now more interested in finding a partner who can co-relate with your intellectualism, who is a good communicator, who has that mercurial flair – who is a good conversationalist – and basically one who is able to stimulate your brain with intellectual talks! It is all MERCURY – and so it may not bring sexual satisfaction but that’s fine because now – during the third marriage you are more interested in finding a partner who understands and resonates with your thought pattern!

Thought leadership, thought pattern – all of these comes under the domain of Mercury. So over all third marriage has less MASALA (spice) than the SECOND MARRIAGE!

Second marriage or second wife is full of spice – full of stories and shocks and surprises! There is always a surprise element in second marriage!

First marriage is indeed the foundation of your marriage journey! You may marry several times but the SIGNIFICANCE of first marriage always remains above all other marriages and that is indeed a fact that cannot be denied!

That is why – a KING may marry several beautiful women – but the FIRST WIFE always becomes the main consort – the main QUEEN!

Now we will see the reason of failures in marriage:

FIRST MARRIAGE FAILURE REASON:

  1. RAHU/KETU – MARS/VENUS placed in 7th house. OR
  2. Seventh house LORD’s Nakshatra Lord placed in sixth, eighth or twelfth house. OR
  3. Seventh house LORD’s Nakshatra Lord owns sixth, eighth or twelfth house
  4. SATURN’s third aspect on seventh house followed by MARS seventh or fourth aspect
  5. Seventh house caught between cruel evil planets of between the owners of sixth, eighth and twelfth house

Along with these primary reasons – many more reasons can become the cause of DIVORCE in FIRST MARRIAGE.

SECOND MARRIAGE FAILURE REASON:

  • RAHU is not placed well and on top of that if the Ascendant sign is ARIES, CANCER, LEO, SCORPIO, SAGGITARRIUS, PISCES
  • Eleventh house Lord’s Nakshatra Lord is Rahu or is placed in 12th or 6th or 8th house. So for example – Eleventh house (Gemini) Lord is Mercury. And Mercury is placed in Rahu’s Nakshatra and Rahu is in 12th, 6th, 8th then the second marriage will fail or will continue to cause troubles.
  • Eleventh house is caught up between 10th and 12th house which hosts evil cruel planets.
  • Saturn’s third aspect on 11th house or Mars fourth or seventh aspect on 11th house
  • Eleventh house LORD’s Nakshatra Lord owns sixth, eighth or twelfth house

So apart from these there are many more reasons that can make the second marriage a nightmare!

Remind me of a beautiful incident when Prince Siddhartha (the future Gautama Buddha) decides to leave his Palace, his wife, his children and walk into the forest. It was a dark night – Prince Siddhartha asks his driver (charioteer) to leave him at the border of his kingdom. His driver’s name is Channa. And Channa loved his master – it was the most difficult moment for him – to leave the master – he was perfectly aware that once gone – the master (Prince Siddharta) is never going to return. His eyes became wet. Just as he leaves Prince Siddharta at the border of his kingdom – and the Prince gets down from his chariot – Channa says “I am just a driver, and also this is not my business to interfere. Your order is your order, so I have brought you to the boundary of your kingdom. But if you don’t mind let me say a few words. What are you doing? This is what everyone aspires to be – a Prince like you! You were born as Prince. Why are you leaving everything? Remember the Palace, remember your beautiful wife, remember your father, the kingdom, and the happiness it brings?”

Prince Siddhartha looked into the driver’s eyes and said “I cannot understand what you are talking about. I have not left any palace behind or any kingdom. I have left ONLY a nightmare. The word renunciation means you are leaving something valuable behind. I have not renounced anything. There was nothing to be renounced. The whole thing is on fire. It was a nightmare. And I thank you because you have helped me to come out of it.”

And Prince Siddhartha leaves for the beyond… Meditate on HIS words – “There was NOTHING to renounce.”

And never ever does he comes back to his kingdom. He comes only when he is totally transformed – and have become the Buddha – Gautama Buddha.

And when he comes back , the whole kingdom comes to see him, all lanes and all roads are crowded – just to have a glimpse of the man whose name has become phenomenal – whose name has been the inspiration for millions and millions – and they all came except one woman – the wife of Gautama Buddha (Prince Siddharta)!

Her name was Yashodhara. And she remained in her Palace. Of course, she was mad at him. One night without telling her – without any intimation – this man had left her. It was natural for her to not to come to welcome the man with whom the whole world was in love! But not her, she remained unmoved. Buddha arrives at the Palace. He looks around, nothing has changed, he smiles. Goes to Yashodhara and Yashodhara is very angry, almost every cell of her body is boiling in anger – and now before her is standing a man – her husband – who had left her 12 years ago – Gautama Buddha!

Now, what to say! But she said – she was so much angry that she had absolutely no resistance – she just burst out with anger and said “Couldn’t you have trusted me? You could have said that you wanted to go, and I would have been the last woman in the world to prevent you. Couldn’t you have trusted me even that much?’

And she was crying. Twelve years of anger! And this man had escaped like a thief in the middle of the night – suddenly, without giving a single hint to her.

Buddha looked into her eyes and apologized. The master has no Ego, the real master understands the pain more than anybody in this whole world!

And so Buddha apologized to her – and said “It was out of non-understanding. I was ignorant, I was not aware. But now I am aware and I know – that’s why I have come back. You have helped me tremendously. Forget those old things, now there is no point in thinking about ‘spilt milk’. Look at me! Something great has happened. I have come home. And I felt my first duty was towards you: to come, and to convey, and to share my experience with you.”

And the words were so beautiful, so true, so deep – that they moved the heart of Yashodhara – she could see that this man has really changed – that this is something else – that this man is something else – His glow, His Aura, His peace, His words – she could no more control herself, she burst out in tears, the whole palace moved – everybody came running and they all could see Yashodhara falling at the Buddha’s feet – rarely has this happened in the history of the human world – a wife ACCEPTING her Husband as her Guru! And with her tearful eyes flowing through the Buddha’s feet, she says

“ Initiate me, I want to be your disciple.”

Truth has tremendous strength – and for a man who himself is the epitome of Truth – what is not possible? Everything is possible – everything is possible! Buddha raises her and gives her a warm hugh – a new relation was born – not of husband and wife – but of master and disciple!

As long as third marriage is concerned – there is very less chance of divorce because you are already tired – you already had enough – you also cross your 40 by then and so as mentioned previously – third marriage is based on intellectualism and also since it comes under the domain of Mercury – a practical perspective is more in dominance than otherwise. In your FIRST marriage – you were excited – it always happens – when you are driving for the FIRST TIME – you are excited. Then the excitement starts fading – then you want to drive something more exciting – something more adventurous – you are attracted towards unconventional ways of life – and that is how you jump into your second marriage – the RAHUISH MARRIAGE!

And then when you get many kicks in second marriage – you still don’t give up. You marry for the third time – but this time you are not very excited – you are no more moved by the outer appearances – you are looking for certain DEPTH – certain INTELLECTUALISM – certain level of UNDERSTANDING – and so the third marriage works well than the second marriage!

NOW – let this be very clear that SECOND MARRIAGE SUCCESS or FAILURES is very subjective – though I have shared the essence of it and so don’t jump to conclusions – don’t generalize the outcomes. As mentioned – second marriage can work provided RAHU is beneficial and you are born on ASCENDANT SIGN that is suitable to RAHU in your chart.

Mohan asked “But tell me – is it necessary to get married?”

For true lovers – marriage is NOT necessary. Marriage becomes necessary when you want LEGAL COMMITMENT and when legality comes – freedom is lost! So many couples remain in ‘failed marriages ‘- they are afraid of stepping out of the wedlock – because they have made friendship with their old friend called called – MISERY.

You Don’t Want To Loose Your Old Friend – The Misery – You Have Invested Too Much Into False – Hence The Fear To Be Exposed-To Be True – To Be Naked As You Are. – Osho
Never suppress your feelings – never tolerate injustice – never stay in a marriage that SUFFOCATES you – never stay in a marriage that steals your FREEDOM.

LOVE blossoms only when there is FREEDOM.

Love Is A By Product Of Freedom; It Is The Overflowing Joy Of Freedom, It Is The Fragrance Of Freedom. First The Freedom Has To Be There, Then Love Follows. – Osho
Marriage is just a legal union – a validation – a legal commitment. Marriage definitely steal your freedom – because now you are in a lock – a wed-lock!

But for true lovers – marriage is not necessary. LOVE needs NO CERTIFICATION. For true lovers – legal commitment is not necessary – because LOVE itself is a commitment!

Love Is An Unconditional Commitment To An Imperfect Person. To Love Somebody Isn’t Just A Strong Feeling. It Is A Decision, A Judgement And A Promise.

Marriage is an outcome of FEAR. The doubt – will my lover remain with me forever – gives birth to the union called MARRIAGE because MARRIAGE brings legal compulsions. Marriage is a promise of a secured future!

Marriage is an effort to legalize love. It is out of fear. It is thinking about the future, about the tomorrows. Man always thinks of the past and the future, and because of this constant thinking about past and future, he destroys the present. And the present is the only reality there is. One has to live in the present. The past has to die and has to be allowed to die… – Osho

In reality divorce rates are high – very high in India as well as outside India. In country like Singapore – there are many dating sites but you will rarely find a matrimonial site! That is how poor state of marriage is in Singapore!

Marriage brings compulsive commitment. LOVE brings natural commitment! There is a difference – that is why when it comes to LOVE – I always say – its different!

The logical folks may say that LOVE is BLIND – but in reality only LOVE has EYES.

People Say Love Is Blind Because They Do Not Know What Love Is. I Say Unto You, Only Love Has Eyes; Other Than Love, Everything Is Blind. – Osho
One day Mohan asked “How come diehard lovers when get married – they start quarrelling and eventually step into a divorce?”

The answer is simple – as long as you are in a love relationship – there is absolutely NO legality involved – there is NO compulsion – there is NO responsibility – there is no third person other than you and your lover! So basically there is ABSOLUTE FREEDOM – and LOVE simply blossoms in the garden of FREEDOM. Before getting into the marriage wed-lock – you continue to blossom like a beautiful flower….

But when marriage happens – the flowering stops – because now many people become a part of your love relationship – (mother-in-law, father-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law….) the list is unending – when so many ‘in-laws’ are mixed in your sweet love relationship – there is bound to be certain clashes – clashes of ego that eventually starts impacting your love relationship – and that is how many love marriages fail – when compared to arrange marriages!

Arranged marriages are pure deals. You step in an arranged marriage – with the mindset that there will be many stake holders in your marriage – and again since there is no love involved and you are complete stranger – it becomes easy to digest all that is thrown at you – after marriage!

Yesterday someone had asked “What is the secret of remaining happy and married”

It is difficult. I cannot answer this question. Jesus also cannot answer this question. Neither could Buddha nor could Mahavira. Because if they would have found the answer – then they would not have stayed unmarried!

Jesus knew the secret of the kingdom of God, but he did not know the secret of remaining happy in marriage. He remained unmarried. Mahavira, Lao Tzu Chuang Tzu, they all remained unmarried for the simple reason that there is no secret; otherwise these people would have discovered it. They could discover the ultimate – marriage is not such a big thing, it is very shallow – they even fathomed God, but they could not fathom marriage. – Osho

So marriage is a very shallow thing – you can jump into a shallow lake – but it is a lake, it is not a flowing river and it also lacks depth – so you may not enjoy much swimming in this shallow lake called marriage!

But many do enjoy – or they pretend to enjoy – whatever the case – the choice is yours – get married or stay unmarried – doesn’t matter really when you embark on the greatest journey – the journey within!

In fact I encourage everybody to get married – because that is how they can complete one circle – they can understand through their married life experiences on whether marriage is worth it!

Experience matters above all. You may read hundred of books about marriage – but those hundred books cannot enlighten you – you may fantasize on having a beautiful wife or a handsome husband – but all those fantasies are not worthy before you ACTUAL EXPERIENCE OF MARRIAGE!

So don’t fear of getting married – don’t fear of getting into a vicious circle of bad marriage experiences – because these bad experience can become the foundation of your life – on which you can build your tower of success!

Rock Bottom Became The Solid Foundation On Which I Rebuilt My Life.- J.K. Rowling
J.K. Rowling had a very bad marriage experience – but those experiences and after going through a painful divorce – she rose to great heights of success and fame!

Always remember – each experience that you go through can and does transform you into a much evolved person – only if you are willing to learn from your experiences – only if you are willing to turn inwards and self-realize that you are NOT a pigeon but an EAGLE who dares to fly high in spite of many challenges and negative situations!

An Eagle Uses The Negative Energy Of A Storm To Fly Even Higher. – Eric Thomas
Be like an EAGLE. Remember – You are born to experience all aspects of human life because only then will you evolve – only then will you mature in the true sense!

There was a young man – he sets out in search of a real master. On his way – while walking through the forest – he stumbles upon an old man – and the old man was beneath the banyan tree – he was in his own bliss – there was something about this old man – His Glow, His Aura – but the young man could not relate with the old man’s divinity – the young man stepped ahead and said “ You look like a wanderer – you must have wandered all over the planet. Could you please tell me – where can I find my master – my Guru?”

The old man smiled. His smile was so deep – so sweet and so mysterious that the young man wondered what must be the reason for such a beautiful smile. Before he could ask – the old man said “ You guessed it right. I am a wandered and I have been through many places on this planet. I will tell you the way to find the master….you go straight and the you take right and continue to walk until you find the master.”

The young man was very happy. He thanked the old man and followed his direction….

20 years passed and still the young man was not able to find the real master – the real Guru! Devastated and disappointed – he decided to return back home….

On his way back home – he found the same old man sitting beneath the same Banyan tree. The old many had become much older but still the charm. the grace, the aura, the glow – everything was the same! Suddenly the young man realized that it is this same old man who used to appear in his dreams. For last twenty years often in his dreams he would see the same banyan tree and the same old man – was it is a sign – was it a message – the young man’s eyes were filled with tears……he realized his mistake – he rushed towards the old man – touched the old man’s feet and started crying like a child….

He said “ Why? Why you never told me that YOU are my MASTER! That you are my GURU. Why?…..”

The old man – the master opened his eyes – there was so much love – so much grace in his eyes that the young man was deeply moved. The master said “ Because you were blind. I was before you but you couldn’t recognize Me….”

The man said “But all these 20 years are wasted……”

The compassionate master smiled and said “No that is not right. Those twenty years have helped you gain the ‘EYES’ through which you have NOW recognized me. To gain these ‘EYES’ – experience was necessary. All the FAKE people and FAKE saints that you came across these twenty years have given you a new eyesight – you have matured – you have evolved and that is why it is NOW that you have recognized me. And look at me – I haven’t moved a bit – I have been waiting for you – from last twenty years!”

Listening to these deeply moving words – the man simply burst out in tears…..the master moved his hand on his back and said “Why you cry – I was always WITH YOU.”

Experiences of all kind is necessary so as to get a new EYESIGHT through which you can recognize the real and drop the fake!

In this life you will be able to CONNECT with real authentic fellows – only when you have started turning inwards – when you have started meditating with love and devotion.

Love to all my readers.

Stay blessed. And remember to meditate every day.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Benefits of 1–12 Mukhi Rudraksha

Combining 4.5.6 mukhi rudraksha beads is suicidal. 4 stands for Rahu. 5 stands for Mercury. Venus is 6. Never make such deadly combinations as that can impact you and your life in a negative way.

But who wants to listen? But this answer is specifically for all my close followers and readers – so that they don’t commit such a terrible mistake.

Now let me throw more light on Rudraksha in general.

First of all Rudraksha beads should NOT be wore by woman simply because they go through menstruation cycles. And since Rudraksha is a highly spiritual pious pure bead – the impure stage through which every woman goes through – is not suitable for wearing Rudraksha Bead.

But Mohan said “ I have seen some women Sanyasin wearing Rudraksha bead.”

I said “Mohan – those women are not ordinary woman. They are Sadhaks who do intense penance by chanting the name of the Holy Lord. They don’t go to discos or they don’t drink alcohol or they don’t smoke – or they don’t do sex – they are very pure and still if they are young then during their menstruation period they remove the rudraksha and then wear it when their ‘period’ (MC) is over.”

Now coming to the subject of Men – then Men don’t menstruate however Men may drink alcohol, may smoke, may follow a very impure lifestyle – filled with lust and sex. May appear as Saintly to the world but secretly may watch vulgur sexual videos – so to such Men – wearing Rudraksha is insulting Lord Shiva and becoming the target of His disgrace.

So my suggestion to all my readers and followers is:

WEAR RUDRAKSHA only if:

  1. You are a celibate
  2. You are non-alcoholic
  3. You are pure by heart
  4. You are devotional and following the path of righteousness
  5. You are eating vegetarian food that is SATVIC – meaning it had no garlic and no onions.
  6. Your lifestyle is very pious and you read the holy scriptures
  7. You are a staunch Shiva devotee and you chant HIS holy mantra

If all of these above mentioned points are applicable to you then you should wear a RUDRAKSHA BEAD.

Else wearing any mukhi rudraksha bead makes NO DIFFERENCE and this is the TRUTH.

But nobody is going to understand this or realize this TRUTH because the MIND is a monkey and the society simply loves to make you a fool – the society would never want you to become wise.

“No society wants you to become wise: it is against the investment of all societies. If people are wise they cannot be exploited. If they are intelligent they cannot be subjugated, they cannot be forced in a mechanical life, to live like robots. They will assert their individuality. They will have the fragrance of rebellion around them.
In fact, a wise man is afire, alive, aflame. But he cannot sell his life, he cannot serve them. He would like rather to die than to be enslaved.”
-Osho

A wise man follows the voice of his heart – he is focused within – he is aware that GOD is not on the outside but within the depth of the heart!

One afternoon Mohan asked “ What is the significance of Rudraksha bead?”

I said “Mohan – Rudraksha is the essence of Lord Shiva. Just the way a disciple is the essence of the Guru – the Master – similarly in one small Rudraksha bead – the eternity (Shiva) dwells! How to express the greatness of Rudraksha bead – it is beyond the power of words!”

Mohan asked “ I read many books about different Mukhi’s of Rudraksha – what does that mean?”

I said “ The more MUKHIs the more it is focused on the outside. As the MUKHIs start becoming lesser and lesser – the spiritual progress is seen.”

Mohan asked “But on a typical Rudrakhsa tree – maximum beads are found to have 5 MUKHI.”

I smiled and said “Mohan – 5 Mukhi is the base of human life – PANCHA TATVA – this human body is made of Prithvi(Earth), Jal (Water), Agni (Fire), Vayu (Air) and Akash (Space) – 5 MUKHI represents these PANCHA TATVA.”

Mohan asked “The least MUKHI rudraksha is the ONE MUKHI Rudraksha – what is the significance of ONE MUKHI?

I said “Mohan as I had mentioned that the lesser the MUKHI – the greater is the SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE. And the more the MUKHI – the greater is the MATERIAL SIGNIFICANCE. So ONE MUKHI is the epitome of spiritual progress – BUT such a ONE MUKHI manifests only for a truly spiritual being – someone who is a celibate – someone who has become a MONK – and most importantly is initiated by the master – the Guru.”

Mohan asked “But nowadays anybody who has lots of money – goes and buys ONE MUKHI.”

I laughed out loudly and said “Mohan – we are living in an ignorant world of men and women who think that they can buy spiritual progress by counting their money – let them do so – when they fail – when they start suffering – they realize their mistake – until then the mad rush continues. And then there are businessmen who want to make MONEY by creating all kind of FAKE stories about Rudrakhsha Mukhis – so all of these continues – the wise is always away from all of these – because HE never looks for knowledge inside the book – he looks WITHIN.

“The longest journey is the journey inwards. Of him who has chosen his destiny, Who has started upon his quest for the source of his being.”
-Dag Hammarskjold

Mohan was moved by my sharing – he hugged me – he said “I am touched by your sharing of such precious knowledge about Rudraksha – but now being a novice I want to know what kind of Rudraksha bead should one wear?”

I said “You want to know the TRUTH?”

Mohan said “Yes – always.”

I said “The Truth is that NO MAN and NO WOMAN should wear rudrakhsa bead simply because YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO FOLLOW THE LIFESTYLE that a rudraksha demands – that Lord Shiva demands! I have already mentioned how the lifetsyle should be and if you closely observe then the lifestyle I shared matches with the lifestyle of RISHIS and SAGES! And that is why during the old days – only the Sages, the Brahmins (one who has renunciate), and Sadhus used to wear Rudraksha beads. If by chance Kshatriyas had Rudraksha bead on their bodies – then they would strictly follow the guidelines of wear the Rudraksha beads which is highly of ascetic nature!”

Mohan asked “So then what is the alternative?”

I said “The alternative is simple. In fact life is simple, God is simple, Love is simple. And so the alternative is that you keep the rudraksha bead inside your Pooja-Ghar (place of worship) and every day do abhishek on the bead using cow’s cold milk and then with pure rose water. That’s all! By worshipping RUDRAKSHA BEAD every day – you attain the blessings of Lord Shiva. Because RUDRAKSHA is SHIVA – SHIVA is RUDRAKSHA.”

Mohan asked “ That is such a beautiful alternative. And then I have one more question – does result manifest based on the number of MUKHI Rudraksha bead that one worships every day?”

I smiled at Mohan and said “Hmm Mohan it seems you have been progressing well in your meditation – nowadays I see you asking good questions.”

Mohan blushed, a simple man with a beautiful heart.

I said “ Now – I will share with you the results that one may attain by worshipping the Rudraksha bead placed in the Pooja Ghar (place of worship).

12 Mukhi Rudraksha Bead – Overcome Fear of imprisonment, curb losses, curb expenses

11 Mukhi – Attain more benefits, more profits, fulfilment of desires and blessings of Lord Hanuman

10 Mukhi – Attain growth in career, becomes more action oriented, growth in status

9 Mukhi – Attains Siddhis if one is on spiritual path, attains Guru, attains higher knowledge – wisdom and blessings from elderly men and women.

8 Mukhi – Overcomes the timing of death, if he or she has some death leading diseases of life threating situations then by worshipping 8 Mukhi Rudraksha

7 Mukhi – Issues regarding marriage – relationship issues, sexual problems, all of these are nullified by worshipping 7 Mukhi Rudraksha.

6 Mukhi – Court cases, litigations, sometimes innocent men are targeted by woman – as well as – innocent women are targeted by men – they try hard to defame such innocent men – they drag them to courts – so to overcome such FALSE ALLEGATIONS – once should worship 6 mukhi Rudrksha with devotion and love. It also helps in overcoming certain chronic diseases. As well it is a good remedy for overcoming certain Black Magic Spells.

5 Mukhi – This is my favorite bead. Because it simple – it is available in abundance and it signify the five elements or the “panchamahabhutas”. These are: Prithvi(Earth), Jal (Water), Agni (Fire), Vayu (Air) and Akash (Space). The entire universe is created by these five elements. When I was young – I used to wear this but then I had to remove it as to maintain its purity and piousness which is difficult when we are living a material life. So now I simply worship this magnificent bead in my place of worship. By worshipping this bead – the person is blessed by all the devtas of the five elements – in simple words such a person’s life is well-balanced and what can be as beautiful then a living a balanced life!

4 Mukhi – Property specific matters, mother related issues, happiness from mother, happiness from properties – is what comes when you are devoted to this 4 Mukhi Rudraksha. Those who are going through RAHU Mahadasha should definately worship this 4 Mukhi rudraksha bead.

3 Mukhi – Hurdles in work, many times a student fails in an exam – such a student should worship 3 Mukhi rudraksha. A good student is one who has a good learning curve – meaning he or she is a fast learner – this Rudrasha bead bestows this learning quality – it improves your grasping power – because it is only when you can grasp more that you can learn more! For attaing a certain skill – for enjoying certain adventures of life – for overcoming boredom and making or keeping life always interesting – this 3 Mukhi Rudraksha bead is the answer.

2 Mukhi – Many times it happens – you earn good money but you are not able to SAVE your money. I knew one CEO – on the 1st of the month – his account was filled with lakhs of rupees and by 31st – his account would become completely penniless. For such men and women – keeping a auntentic 2 Mukhi rudraksha in the place of worship (Pooja Ghar) and worshipping daily by doing abhishek – helps in improving their savings. This also improves your eating habits and when you control your diet intake – you are able to take on life much effectively then otherwise!

1 Mukhi – What to say about this bead. I am speechless. It is here that the Buddha is born! It is here that the Mahavira is born. It is here that Kabir is born! This is an exclusive highly rare bead which manifests ONLY for those who are on the BUDDHA PATH – meaning on the SPIRITUAL PATH. Now there are many millionaires who believe that by buying this ONE MUKHI – they will become the BUDDHA. In reality – it is only the BUDDHA who can actually make use of this rare bead – so if you are NOT living a spiritual life of an ascetic then it is better you stay away from this bead.

Mohan gave me a hug and said “This is incredible – I never knew you had so much to share….”

I smiled and said “So do I. It all happens by HIS – God’s – Guru’s grace – HE orders and I share – HE orders and I write. I am HIS servant – I work for HIM.”

“WHOEVER WORKS FOR GOD, HIS WORK WILL BE DONE BY ITSELF.”
-Neem Karoli Baba

Always remember – GOD and GURU are two words but in reality they are SAME – they are ONE. Reminds me of those days when I was staying on Sajjangad – the Fort near Satara. Sajjangad is a wonderful divine place – simply because one of the greatest Avatar of Lord Hanuman – Samarth Ramdas Swami had stayed and taken the last breath on this Fort which was gifted to HIM by Chatrapatti Shivaji Maharaj.

The guidance that Chattrapatti Shivaji Maharaj received from Samarth Ramdas Swami was so precious that it helped the Marathas to win battles against the Mughals as well as overcome the many heinous conspiracies of the Mughals.

Samarth Ramdas Swami was the Guru of Shivaji Maharaj and one day Shivaji Maharaj requested Swami to stay on this fort. He said “ Swamiji – I know you never stay at one place for long – but now you have become old and I would love to see you stay on this Fort – Sajjan Gad.”

Swami accepted this request of Shivaji Maharaj and started staying on this Fort. Sajjan is a Hindi/Marathi word – which literally means Gentleman. Since this fort was blessed by the omnipresence of Swami Samarth Ramdas and His disciples – it came to be known as SAJJANGAD meaning Fort of Gentlemen.

On this Fort – I had stayed for a couple of days in deep penance – and it is here where I came across a beautiful letter written by Swami Samarth to his very close disciple. And the disciple was also an enlightened man. However in HIS letter – Swami writes “You belong to ME and I belong to all GODS.”

How beautiful and deep is this verse written by Swamiji! It simply means that it is only GURU who can connect you with GOD. Because GURU and GOD are ONE – there is absolutely NO duality – it is pure ADVAIT – NON-DUAL!

Mohan said “ I am so touched by your sharing.

I said “It is getting dark and now you should leave. It is time to meditate.”

You all – also focus on meditating every day. In this human life – you will find many negative people ridiculing you – just the way I have found in my life as well – BUT if you remain focused within – then no matter how much noise the negative fellows make – you will be at peace.

The focus should be – on chanting the holy name of God – and finding peace within. Always remember – peace is only to be found within and if you ask me – then I am ready to trade everything that I have in material possession for that greatest GOLD of this universe – PEACE. SHANTI.

“Peace is the inner nature of humankind.
If you find it within yourself, you will then find it everywhere.”
-Ramana Mahnini

How to find peace within?

And the answer is simple – STOP entertaining your thoughts. STOP having resentful thoughts. STOP following the fancies of your MIND.

“Your nature is Peace and Happiness.
Thoughts are the obstacles to realization.
A thought must be quelled as soon as it rises.
Whenever a thought arises, do not be carried away by it.”
-Sri Ramana Maharshi

If suicidal thoughts come – then don’t act on them. If lustful thoughts come – then don’t act on them. If resentful thoughts come – then don’t act on them – don’t hurt others by your comments or talks. So basically – DO NOT act on the thoughts that come to your mind – just WATCH, just WITNESS – and they will fade away!

Paramhansa Yogananda beautifully mentions the best remedy to avoid negative thoughts, He mentions – that negative thoughts come only when you NOT occupied in some creative work. So always keep yourself engaged in some creative work and then see – how it works well for you and how you are SAVED from negative thoughts!

My friends – my fellows and those all who have been following ME – let me tell you – that nothing can satisfy you other then the name of GOD – other than the abode of GOD – other then the LOVE of GOD. No matter how much you have earned – it is all waste if you haven’t realized GOD.

And so I urge all my followers to take the necessary efforts to realize GOD – let me tell you that if you take one step towards GOD – GOD will take one hundred steps towards you! That is how GOD’s love is – simply immeasurable!

And so do something special in this human life that rarely one gets!

“You must not let your life play Out in the ordinary way, Do something nobody else has done, Show the world that Gods Creative principle works In you”
-Paramhansa Yogananda

God is within your heart. Focus on your heart – your heart is beautiful – what comes between YOU and your HEART is your MIND.

Meditation is simply to bring this MIND under your control and then eventually drop this MIND – and reach the state of NO MIND – the state of BUDDHA – the state of Kabir – the state of Mahavira!

It is a long journey – but remember – every long journey begins with a small step!

Let the journey within – begin.

Love to all my followers and readers – stay blessed and remember to meditate every day.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Rahu in Purvabhadrapada

Jupiter rules and loves three Nakshatras – Punarvasu, Vishakha & Purvabhadrapada.

The nature of Punarvasu is of restoring that what has been lost. The nature of Vishakha is to intensify that which has been restored. And the nature of Purvabhadrapad is to spread the light of awareness – the wisdom that has been gained by intensifying self-penance, self-growth!

So you see – Purvabhadrapad is the culmination – the flowering of Jupiter – Sri Guru!

Purvabhadrapad is very special for me and for all meditative beings – since the realized ones are perfectly aware of the depth and the maturity that this wonderful pious divine Nakshatra has!

Purvabhadrapad is one of the most pious Nakshatra. In simple words – Purvabhadrapad signify the “Maturity Value” of Jupiter! Maturity value is the amount due and payable to the holder of a financial obligation as of the maturity date of the obligation. Similarly – Jupiter’s qualities manifest in totality in the Nakshatra of Purvabhadrapad. Purvabhadrapad is the MATURITY Value of Jupiter. When Rahu – the shadow of desire occupies Purvabhadrapad Nakshatra then the desire to be pious, the desire to attain knowledge, the desire to attain wisdom and – the desire to share knowledge by EXPANDING the network of friends and followers is more than usual!

The most striking quality of Purvabhadrapad Nakshatra is – Being Human.

“The essence of being human is that one does not seek perfection.”
-George Orwell

Perfection is an Ego Trip. The very idea of perfectionism drives people crazy. The perfectionist is bound to be a neurotic, he cannot enjoy life till he is perfect.

“Perfectionism is a neurosis. It is an illness. And the more you try to become perfect, the more frustrated you will become.” – Osho

Being Human – means NOT to chase perfection but to chase EXCELLENCE.

“Strive for excellence, not perfection. “-H. Jackson Brown Jr.

Excellence is attainable when you give your heart and soul to the work that you do! In other words when you are TOTAL in whatsoever you do or you undertake – then and only then EXCELLENCE is attainable. And so the key to attain success, the key to experience a happy life is by being TOTAL and NOT by being perfect.

“THE PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE IS GRATIFYING AND HEALTHY. THE PURSUIT OF PERFECTION IS FRUSTRATING, NEUROTIC. AND A TERRIBLE WASTE OF TIME.”
-EDWIN BLISS

Purvabhadrapad ruled by Sri Guru (Jupiter) is interested in attaining excellence and not perfection. And Rahu in Purvabhadrapad simply fire-up this tendency of chasing excellence!

The beauty of Purvabhadrapad born natives is that they are humanist – to them humanity matters above all. And so these fellows don’t try to be perfect – they emphasize more on Being Human rather they try to be an excellent example of Being Human.

“Don’t try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human.”
-Tony Robbins

Out of all the 12 Zodiac signs – it is only AQUARIUS that is truly dedicated to be an excellent example of being human. Aquarius is a highly humanistic sign. And Purvabhadrapad Nakshatra falls in Aquarius Zodiac. One striking living example of being human – is – Salman Khan. The Being Human charity foundation established by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan provides education and healthcare services for the underprivileged in India. Probably there has been no one as vocal and as candid in the film industry as Salman Khan is – when it comes to advocating the “Being Human” cause.

Salman Khan is also born on Aquarius sign – his moon sign is Aquarius – a highly humanistic zodiac and one of my favorite zodiac.

The sign Aquarius comprises of three Nakshatras:

  1. Dhanistha (Last two padas)
  2. Shatataraka (all four padas)
  3. Purvabhadrapad (three padas)

So it means that the fourth pada of Purvabhadrapada falls in the sign of Pisces too!

Rahu in Purvabhadrapada (in the three padas of Aquarius sign) is more social and more interested in networking than Rahu in Purvabhadrapada that falls in the last – fourth pada in Pisces!

Rahu in Pisces (Purvabhadrapada) is more religious and more traditional than Rahu in Aquarius (Purvabhadrapada). It is like the twins – one is dashing, dynamic and a humanist while the other is very religious & conservative.

Rahu in Purvabhadrapad is positive for the following Ascendant signs:

  1. Aries
  2. Sagittarius
  3. Virgo
  4. Gemini
  5. Aquarius
  6. Libra

Being Human, Fighting against inequality, Advocating for Human Rights – Purvabhadrapada Nakshatra is all about being a Robinhood or being Martin Luther King Jr.!

Martin Luther King Jr. was an American Baptist minister and activist who became the most visible spokesman and leader in the American civil rights movement.

Martin Luther King Jr. had his moon in Aquarius (Purvabhadrapada Nakshatra). He was a perfect Aquarius man – who fought against injustice – who fought for Human rights – who fought for the Black Americans who were denied basic human rights in the US. On October 14, 1964, Martin Luther King Jr. won the Nobel Peace Prize for combating racial inequality through nonviolent resistance.

That is the power of Aquarius sign – Aquarius is a highly humanistic sign – it is unconventional when moon is in Shatabhisha Nakshatra – however it becomes more louder in being righteous when moon is in Purvabhadrapad Nakshatra! Being the Nakshatra of Jupiter – righteousness can manifest in form of following religious dogma or following community guidelines while fighting for equality and human rights! So Humanist or Being Human is the primary goal of Aquarius Sign irrespective of which Aquarius Nakshatra one belongs to.

A typical conservative person – or GOD Believer will do a certain act of goodness because he wants to receive blessings from God or because he want to accumulate good karma (punya) – so there is a hidden agenda behind such a man’s good act.

BUT a humanist will simply give food to a starving person out of love and compassion. And that’s all!

It is really a pity that many people feed dogs or cats or fishes or birds for a certain selfish reason – but there are very few – very very few who simply offer food out of love – out of compassion – they don’t do it to strengthen a planet or remove any dosha or as a remedy – they just do it because they want to do it – that brings joy to their heart – a smile on their face! I love such men and women – for they are truly special in the eyes of God – and most of them certainly have some connection with the sign Aquarius – because only Aquarius has the humanistic quality – it will do – but it will do out of compassion. And only such an act of compassion reaches GOD and GOD takes care of such beautiful fellows – fellows of heart – fellows who are truly the shining stars of this human world!

Once it happened – Saint Eknath was travelling back to his home. In his hand he was carrying a bottle filled with the holy water of the Ganges. And those were times when it would take many months to travel and collect the holy water from the river of Ganges. Saint Eknath had to spend over four months to collect this precious holy water of Ganges and finally he was on his way back home – when he came across a crow and the crow was very thirsty – he was about to die and Saint Eknath offered the holy water of Ganges to the crow! The crow drank the whole bottle of Ganges water – there was not a single drop left – the crow flew in the sky – he made some sounds – it was his way of saying “Thank You – you saved my life.”

A farmer was witnessing this moment of compassion – he stepped ahead and said “ Master – now what will you do? Because all of your efforts of collecting the holy water of Ganges have been wasted – there is no water left – you gave it all to that thirsty crow!”

Saint Eknath smiled and said “ You missed to realize – that the holy water is NOT wasted – it has saved a life! You see and what can be more precious than life! Whether it me or the crow, whether it is you or the crow – life flows through all of us and I am very happy that these few drops of Holy water of the Ganges has saved the Crow from dying!”

You see – that is how the real master is – HUMANIST. A real master will not spend a second in thinking about religious dogmas or traditions – he will simply focus on the practicalities of life – and what can be more practical than to SAVE someone’s life!

A typical priest of religious pundit would have hesitated to offer such a precious holy water of Ganges to a thirsty crow – he would have let the crow die because to him – a crow is a trivial creature – a dirty fellow. He would have followed the scriptures – and the scriptures say that you should not offer the holy water to a crow – but only to a human being!

But to a real master – a crow is as important as a human being – because LIFE flows in both – LIFE never discriminates then why should we? But only a man of awareness can understand this – only a truly meditative being can realize this.

This depth comes naturally to the sign of Aquarius and when Rahu is in Purvabhadrapada Nakshatra then the person indeed is more humanist than otherwise. They understand the true essence of humanism.

“The experience of humanism is that ‘nothing human is alien to me’; that I carry within myself all of humanity; that nothing which exists in any human being does not exist in myself. I am the criminal and the saint. I am the child and the adult. I am the man who lived 100000 years ago and the man who will live 100000 years from now.”
-Erich Fromm

Having a humanistic view and being TOTAL in one’s action is what Rahu in Purvabhadrapada stands for.

Remind me of a beautiful story – a story that help you realize the significance of – Being Total.

It happened once that in Paradise – Buddha, Confucius and Lao Tzu were sitting in a famous cafe – and chatting, laughing, joking – when a waitress comes with a tray that holds three glasses of the juice called “Life,” and offers them. Buddha instantly closes his eyes and says “Life is misery.”

Confucius closes his eyes halfway – he is a midlist, he used to preach the golden mean – and asks the waiter to give him the glass. He would like to have a sip – but just a sip, because without tasting how can one say whether life is misery or not? Confucius had a scientific mind; he was not much of a mystic, he had a very pragmatic, earthbound mind. He was the first behaviorist the world has known, very logical. And it seems perfectly right – he says, “First I will have a sip, and then I will say what I think.” He takes a sip and he says, “Buddha is right – life is misery.”

Lao Tzu takes all the three glasses and he says, “Unless one drinks totally, how can one say anything?” And Lao Tzu drinks all the three glasses and starts dancing!

Buddha and Confucius ask him, “Are you not going to say anything?” And Lao Tzu says, “This is what I am saying – my dance and my song are speaking for me.”

Unless you taste life totally, you cannot say. And when you taste totally, you still cannot say because what you know is such that no words are adequate.

Buddha is on one extreme, Confucius is in the middle. Lao Tzu has drunk all the three glasses – the one that was brought for Buddha, the one that was brought for Confucius, and the one that was brought for him. Lao Tzu has drunk them all; he has lived life in its three-dimensionality.

“Live life in all possible ways; don’t choose one thing against the other, and don’t try to be in the middle. Don’t try to balance yourself – balance is not something that can be cultivated. Balance is something that comes out of experiencing all the dimensions of life. Balance is something that happens; it is not something that can be brought about through your efforts.” – Osho

When you are living your life in TOTALITY – when you are TOTAL in whatsoever you do – when you drink all the three glasses filled with the juice called LIFE – you will be able to BALANCE life. So balancing life is possible only when you live life in its totality!

Rahu in Purvabhadrapada has the potential to live life in its totality.

“Live life in its totality, drink life in its totality! Yes, sometimes it tastes bitter – so what? That taste of bitterness will make you capable of tasting its sweetness. You will be able to appreciate the sweetness only if you have tasted its bitterness. One who knows not how to cry will not know how to laugh, either. One who cannot enjoy a deep laughter, a belly laugh, that person’s tears will be crocodile tears. They cannot be true, they cannot be authentic.” – Osho

Authenticity comes when you are TOTAL – when you experience life in all possible ways – MONEY, SEX, POWER, HEALTH – you go through all kind of experiences in life – only then you truly MATURE – you truly EVOLVE!

“Experience life in all possible ways – good-bad, bitter-sweet, dark-light, summer-winter. Experience all the dualities.
Don’t be afraid of experience, because the more experience you have, the more mature you become.”
– Osho

Aquarius Rahu in Purvabhadrapada Nakshatra brings maturity to the native – and if the native is an evolved soul then someone as great as Jiddu Krishnamurti is born!

“The man of knowledge, the man of opinion, the man of experience, will never find truth; for the mind must be very simple to find truth, and simplicity is not achieved through learning.”
-J. Krishnamurti

Jiddu Krishnamurti has Aquarius Rahu in Purvabhadrapada Nakshatra.

Always remember – a matured person is more sensitive to his surroundings, to the events that happen in his or her life. And only a sensitive person suffer more in life. Being sensitive is perfectly fine – however as you evolve – as you start meditating – as you walk on the path of spirituality – you will learn to go beyond the sufferings and experience the beyond – the extra-ordinary.

“The people who are sensitive in life may SUFFER much more than those who are insensitive; but if they UNDERSTAND & go BEYOND their SUFFERING they will discover EXTRAORDINARY things.”
-Jiddu Krishnamurti

Buddha always was in search of SEEKERS and NOT believers. Buddha used to say to his disciples – “Never waste your time in talking with believers – because believers never want to experience GOD – they just want to rely on some Saviour – some Messiah – they just want to believe, because by believing they are saving the effort of “Jumping” and exploring the TRUTH themselves. A believer will ask “ Do you believe in God – does God exist?” however a true seeker will ask “Show me the way to experience God – to experience HIS divinity.”

And this is so true – so true – that is why God Believers are fools – and God Seekers are the real beings – they are the evolved souls who want to experience GOD by taking the necessary efforts – by taking all kind of RISKS – their INTENSITY is great and GOD is attained – GOD is experienced only when your THIRST is intense – only then GOD comes – only then GOD is experienced.

The key to self-growth is NOT in believing in God but by seeking GOD – and that is possible only when your mind is free – when you reach the state of NO MIND.

“No swami, no system of yoga, no religious organization, no doctrine or belief can lead you to the discovery of truth.
Only the free mind can discover.
That is obvious, is it not?
You cannot discover the truth of anything by merely being told what it is because then the discovery is not yours.
If you are merely told what happiness is, is that happiness?”
-J. Krishnamurti

Rahu in Purvabhadrapada simply is a sign that there is a great potential to progress on the spiritual path provided – the native is an evolved soul. Evolved soul means – a soul that has been on the “spiritual journey” from many past births – he or she has spend much of their energy and life in deep penance (Sadhana) and in seeking the ultimate truth.

Jiddu Krishnamurti is one such example of an evolved soul – to such an evolved soul – Rahu in Purvabhadrapada works wonders – especially when it comes to spirituality and wisdom.

Rahu in Aquarius is the culmination point for Rahu – in Aquarius sign: Rahu simply feels ‘high’ and so no matter in which Nakshatra – Rahu is place – as long as Rahu is in Aquarius – Rahu is “high”!

In Gemini – Rahu is exalted because Mercury is the Guru of Rahu! In fact if you see the numerology number of the name – RAHU – then the total comes to number 5 which is ruled by Mercury!

So you see – RAHU is the baby of Mercury – and what is Mercury? It is your HEAD – it your intellectuality – it is your LOGIC! And so in the sign of LOGIC – that is in Gemini – Rahu is exalted. Similarly the other two signs – that form triangle to Gemini sign – the sign Libra and sign Aquarius are also highly intellectual signs as well as sexual signs because 3.7.11 – i.e. Gemini, Libra, Aquarius signify the KAMA TRIKONA meaning the Sexual Triangle. Sex is a part of living beings – no matter whether it is human being or animal – unless you have had sex – unless you had had sexual satisfaction and unless you have realized the futility of sex – you will not be able to overcome it and unless you overcome sex – you cannot experience spirituality in its totality!

NEVER repress your sexual needs – because the more you repress the more you become a sex pervert and then there is a problem and big problem.

“Whenever you are too repressed, you start finding a perverse interest. A perverted interest is the problem, not sex.” -Osho

The Sanatana Dharma (सनातन धर्म, meaning “eternal dharma”, “eternal religion” or “eternal order”) of ancient India had therefore emphasized on पुरुषार्थ. Puruṣārtha literally means an “object of human pursuit”. It is a key concept in Hinduism, and refers to the four proper goals or aims of a human life. These four goals or puruṣārthas are Dharma (Being Righteous), Artha (Earning Money), Kama (Enjoying sexual pleasures) and Moksha (Attaining liberation – Nirvana).

People who are not comfortable to listen or talk about sex – have real serious problems with their sexuality. Such men and women should learn to accept the fact that – SEX – is one of the four goals – पुरुषार्थ – Puruṣārtha of the Sanatana Dharma – the eternal order.

Sanātana Dharma is an alternative name for Hinduism used in Hindi alongside the more common Hindu Dharm (हिन्दू धर्म).

Rahu in Gemini, Libra and Aquarius is always good for material progress because such a Rahu (desire) is more focused on attaining fame, expanding social network and considering today’s AGE is NETWORKING AGE – such a RAHU becomes an asset provided Saturn is well placed in the birth chart!

When it comes to FAME – it reminds me of the famous hollywood actress – Catherine Zeta Jones.

Catherine Zeta Jones has Rahu in Purvabhadrapada Nakshatra (Aquarius sign). The most striking quality of Aquarius sign is being vocal about issues that matter! And when Rahu is in Purvabhadrapada then the native is indeed very vocal and would never suffer silently – but would voice out his or her concerns and feelings to the world.

GEMINI. LIBRA. AQUARIUS – are signs of imagination, intellectualism, communication and so many great poets and authors are born with Rahu in Purvabhadrapada Nakshatra. Reminds me of V. S. Naipaul. V. S. Naipaul was a celebrity British writer of works of fiction and nonfiction in English. He is known for his comic early novels set in Trinidad, his bleaker novels of alienation in the wider world, and his vigilant chronicles of life and travels. He wrote in prose that was widely admired, but his views sometimes aroused controversy. He published more than thirty books over fifty years. Naipaul won the Booker Prize in 1971 for his novel “In a Free State”.

VS Naipaul had Aquarius Rahu in Purvabhadrapada Nakshatra.

“Everything of value about Me – is in my books.”
– V S Naipaul

Although Rahu is exalted in Gemini – still Rahu loves its other two siblings – Libra & Aquarius! The very nature of Aquarius is being unconventional goes well with RAHU since Rahu is against conventional life – Rahu loves all that is unconventional! And so sex before marriage, sex with widow, live-in-relationship – all of these relationships that goes against the traditional conventional society – falls under Rahu’s regime.

Yesterday someone was saying that Taliban must be Rahuish but Taliban regime is not under Rahu’s influence because Taliban demands a very strict traditional way of Islam! And so Taliban comes under the influence of Saturn and Mars. And not Rahu.

In Gemini – Rahu wants to communicate, interact and impress.

In Libra – Rahu want to make deals, form relationships.

In Aquarius – Rahu want to make benefits from the deals and relationships that he has so cleverly nurtured.

So Aquarius Rahu definitely is focused on enjoying the benefits – the perks and so this Rahu generally makes you Rich and Famous if you have the necessary strength of Saturn, Jupiter, Mercury and Venus.

Out of all the Trikona (Triangles) – Rahu loves the Trikona of Gemini, Libra and Aquarius – and therefore Rahu does exceptionally well in the 3rd house, 7th house and 11th house. Rahu in 7th house may not give happiness from legal union (marriage) but such a Rahu definitely provides abundance of sexual pleasures outside marriage or through relationships. If you have Rahu in the 7th house then it is advisable that you don’t get married! But interestingly that never happens – because Rahu in 7th house is not just interested in sexual pleasures but also want to showcase his or her “marriage” to the society – after all Rahu loves showcasing – flaunting and so how will Rahu in 7th miss to flaunt his or her marriage to the general public? And so many times – even though marriage has failed still they never show it on the outside – they continue to smile – though inside they are suffocating from their marriage that they had so strongly desired for!

“Think before you desire a thing. There is every possibility that it will be fulfilled, and then you will suffer.” – Osho

Many times it happens that you desire for a man – you desire for a beautiful woman – and then the master never stops you from desiring – because the master is perfectly aware that once you attain your desire – you will start suffering! And that is the whole message to my followers and readers that beware of what you desire – because there is every possibility that your desire will be fulfilled and then you will suffer!

That is how love stories and love marriages fall apart – those who were willing to die for each other – those who were giving long promises of never leaving each other – those men and women have not only had a break-up or divorce but they have also become staunch enemies!

“Be a loving person rather than in a love relationship – because relationships happen one day and disappear another day. They are flowers; in the morning they bloom, by the evening they are gone.”
-OSHO

Six months ago – you may see a man and woman in each others arms and six months later you may see the same man and woman trying to cut each others throat! And then they call this as Love Relationship!

Relationship is always demanding – however relating is never demanding. I relate with you – you relate with me – there is no obligation – there is no dependence – as long as you relate – we can be good friends – the moment you no more relate we can choose our ways apart! Relating therefore is beautiful – if you love a woman – if you love a man then first see if you relate – because as long as you relate – you will be good friends and in LOVE – friendship is very important – because love may fade away after your first few honeymoon nights – but friendship will remain – and so when you are in love – focus on first strengthening your bonding – your friendship!

“There are 3 types of relationships in a man’s life. There are relationships of the intellect, which cannot be very deep. The relationship between a teacher and a student is this type of relationship. There are relationships of love, which are deeper than the intellect. The relationships between a mother and child, between brothers, between husband and wife are these types of relationships: they arise from the heart. Then there are even deeper relationships that arise from the navel. The relationships that arise from the navel are “friendships”. They go deeper than love. Love can end: friendship never ends. Tomorrow we may hate the people we love today – but someone who is a friend can never become an enemy. If he becomes an enemy, then know that there was no friendship in the first place. The relationships of friendship are of the navel – they are relationships of deeper and unknown realms.” – Osho

Buddha therefore never told people to love each other. HE talked about friendship. And he had a reason for saying so – HE said that there should be friends in your life. Ananda asked Buddha “Why you do not call it Love?”

And Buddha said “Friendship is more deeper than Love. Love can end but friendship never ends.”

Love binds, but friendship gives freedom. Love can enslave somebody. It can possess, it can become a master. Friendship does not become someone’s master, it does not hold anyone back. It does not imprison, friendship frees you!

Aquarius Rahu in Purvabhadrapada understands the essence of friendship – being a highly humanistic, socializing, and understanding zodiac sign – Aquarius qualities are simply exaggerated by the restless Rahu. And so overall – you will find a good human being – someone who is unconventional, practical and yet having the potential to understand the many deeper aspects of human life!

Neem Tree is the sacred tree for Purvabhadrapada – and so watering, gardening, nurturing the Neem Tree will help the native to refine the many good qualities of Rahu in Purvabhadrapad Nakshatra. Even eating two leaves of Neem tree will help you in improving your health.

Purvabhadrapad is the peak of Shri Guru’s wisdom – and so I humbly prostrate before the wise Purvabhadrapad Nakshatra – may HIS blessings continue to shower on me and my followers.

The whole message of Purvabhadrapad is – do not try to perceive this world through reason or logic – for this world and the creator of this beautiful world – GOD can only be attained when you start moving beyond your logic – when you embark on the “journey” towards your heart – for the heart knows the way – GOD dwells in your heart and the language of the heart cannot be known through your logic or reason – it can be known only when you stop thinking and start feeling…..

Only a man of heart – only a woman of heart can feel – can understand the language of Buddha, of Krishna, of Jesus, of Guru Nanak – the master is in search of such men and women – who follow their heart – who don’t run by their legs but who runs by their heart!

Love and blessings to such beautiful men and women of heart – God is always with such beautiful souls – no matter what – HE always saves those who follow the voice within, HE always will take you in HIS arms – when you no more are trapped in your logic but when you have truly become a man of heart!

Love.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Kendra and Trikona Importance Explained

First house, Fourth house, Seventh house and Tenth house are known as Kendra ( Center) houses in Vedic Astrology. First, Fifth and Ninth house are known as Trikona ( Triangular) houses.

In reality every Kendra house is also a part of Trikona!

1st house ( Kendra) is part of the 5th and 9th house ( Trikona). This Trikona formed by 1st, 5th, 9th house is the DHARMA TRIKONA ( Righteousness Triangle).

10th house ( Kendra) is part of the 2nd and 6th house ( Trikona). This Trikona formed by 10th, 2nd and 6th house is ARTHA TRIKONA ( Money/Wealth Triangle).

7th house ( Kendra) is part of the 3rd and 11th house (Trikona). This Trikona formed by 7th house, 11th house, 3rd house is the KAMA TRIKONA ( Sexual/physical pleasures/desires fulfillment Triangle).

4th house ( Kendra) is part of 8th, and 12th house ( Trikona). This Trikona formed by 4th, 8th, 12th is the MOKSHA TRIKONA ( Liberation/Nirvana Triangle).

So you see the KENDRA AND TRIKONA comprises all the aspects of human life — ARTHA, KAMA, DHARMA AND MOKSHA.

Hindu religion or to be precise – the SANATAN DHARMA of ancient India has been so perfectly based on these four walls of human life – ARTHA (MONEY), KAMA (SEX), DHARMA (RIGHTEOUSNESS) and MOKSHA (Nirvana, Liberation of the soul).

“Human being, the period of whose life is one hundred years, should practise Dharma , Artha, and Kama at different times and in such a manner that they may harmonize, and not clash in any way. He should acquire learning in his childhood; in his youth and middle age he should attend to Artha and Kama, and in his old age he should perform Dharma, and thus seek to gain Moksha , that is, release from further transmigration.” – Sanatan Dharma

The secret therefore is that — that for every aspect of life — the whole Trikona becomes instrumental. Meaning — for marriage, along with 7th house, 3rd and 11th house also becomes instrumental in signifying marriage and happiness from marriage! The same is the case with money/income, along with 2nd house, 6th and 10th house also becomes instrumental. The same is the case with spiritual journey or progress on spiritual path, along with 12th house, 4th and 8th house also becomes instrumental.

Life is multi dimensional similarly Astrology is also multi dimensional. Just one house cannot decide the outcome of a certain aspect of human life.

Human beings are also multi-dimensional. SEX cannot engulf your whole – if it is doing so then you are simply being one-dimensional. Money cannot engulf your whole life – if that is the case then you are simply being one-dimensional. Dharma – also cannot engulf your life – else you will become a hard core religious activist who shows no humanity – no feelings! Spirituality also cannot engulf your life – else you will miss to take care of the basic needs of your life – such as food, hospital bills, shelter and clothing! So you see – everything is needed – and one who is able to BALANCE all of these aspects of human life – becomes a real Master – a real Yogi!

“There should be a balance between material and spiritual progress, a balance achieved through the principles based on love and compassion.”
-Dalai Lama

BALANCE is the key. And therefore a good horoscope is always balanced – meaning it has planets in the Kendra (1,4,7,10) as well as in the Trikona houses (2,3,5,6,8,9,11,12).

Kendra houses is like the playground where the player comes to play and exhibit his or her PERFORMANCE.

WHEREAS Trikona houses are the ‘engine’ – the source from where the talent comes.

So now tell me — and I ask this to all my close followers, what drives your performance?

And the answer is – Talent. Intelligence. Wisdom. All of these comes from the abode of the Trikona houses — (2,3,5,6,8,9,11,12).

Now a question may arise — that what if there are no planets in the Kendra houses (1.4.7.10)?

The answer is simple. Then you may NOT get the platform to perform! It is like you are a good batsman but you never got the opportunity to come on the ground and perform — your turn never came!

And so in such scenarios — we find men and women who are talented but they never get the chance to perform! They always remain in the waiting list – waiting for an opportunity! Many times they also tend to miss opportunity.

“Nothing is more expensive than a missed opportunity.”
-H. Jackson Brown

In certain cases such fellows – even if they get opportunity they are not able to perform well – since there is no planet in the Kendra or the Lord of Kendra (1,4,7,10) is not having the strength!

Mohan asked “And what when there are absolutely no planets in the Trikona?”

Then the native lacks talent or the required skill to make an impact in this world. Through certain ‘connections’ he or she may get many opportunities but because they simply don’t have the necessary talent – they face failures after failures in life! A good example is of Star Kids – these kids get movies or television serials – but they simply cannot make an impact – they lack the basic acting skills!

I generally don’t get much time to watch television serials – but I remember watching a few television serials on Star Plus channel – and the kind of acting talent that I observed in some of the television actors – be it “Niara” or “Kartic” in the television serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. This is the only serial that has always maintained a decent plot that is not too negative and yet has managed to become the most popular television show! Similarly there are certain great acting talents who act in movies – such kind of talent is missing when you don’t have any planet in Trikona houses or the Lord of the Trikona houses is weak!

Now the most interesting question – how this KENDRA and TRIKONA house Lords impact during their Mahadasha period?

And the answer is simple:

To perform – you need the perfect opportunity which only the KENDRA HOUSE lord can offer you. And so – it is necessary that you get to experience the MAHADASHA of KENDRA HOUSE LORD!

Now let us see, based on ASCENDANT, which KENDRA PLANET offers the much required opportunity?

  1. ARIES ASCENDANT: MARS, MOON, VENUS, SATURN MAHADASHA can give you the opportunity.
  2. TAURUS ASCENDANT: VENUS, SUN, MARS, SATURN MAHADASHA can give you the opportunity.
  3. GEMINI ASCENDANT: MERCURY, JUPITER MAHADASHA can give you the opportunity.
  4. CANCER ASCENDANT: MOON, VENUS, SATURN, MARS MAHADASHA can give you the opportunity.
  5. LEO ASCENDANT: SUN, MARS, SATURN, VENUS MAHADASHA can give you the opportunity.
  6. VIRGO ASCENDANT: MERCURY, JUPITER MAHADASHA can give you the opportunity.
  7. LIBRA ASCENDANT: VENUS, SATURN, MARS, MOON, MAHADASHA can give you the opportunity.
  8. SCORPIO ASCENDANT: MARS, SATURN, VENUS, SUN MAHADASHA can give you the opportunity.
  9. SAGITARIUS ASCENDANT: JUPITER, MERCURY MAHADASHA can give you the opportunity.
  10. CAPRICORN ASCENDANT: SATURN, MARS, MOON, VENUS MAHADASHA can give you the opportunity.
  11. AQUARIUS ASCENDANT: SATURN, VENUS, SUN, MARS MAHADASHA can give you the opportunity.
  12. PISCES ASCENDANT: JUPITER, MERCURY MAHADASHA can give you the opportunity.

So you – out of all the 12 Ascendants – only 4 Ascendants remain unfortunate in the matters of OPPORTUNITY – and those 4 are:

  1. GEMINI ASCENDANT
  2. VIRGO ASCENDANT
  3. SAGGITARIUS ASCENDANT
  4. PISCES ASCENDANT

Simply because these 4 Ascendants get only two planets – JUPITER and MERCURY as KENDRADHIPATI (Lord of KENDRA houses 1.4.7.10). And so the SCOPE of getting opportunity is lesser than the rest 8 Ascendants!

Millions of men and women are born – but NOT everybody gets the opportunity (meaning the MAHADASHA OF KENDRA HOUSE LORD) – it may be the case that you are talented – but if you don’t get the opportunity – the platform then how are you going to make an impact – and attain success in your career?

Reminds me of my meeting with a great Saint.

It happened so that I had met an eminent Doctor in Mumbai. He had become very old. He shared one incident with me – he was close to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He used to live with Panditji – in Delhi. One day he visited a temple in Varanasi – and he heard a musician playing shehnai, a reeded woodwind instrument. The musician was a very common man – he used to sit next to the Shiva Ling and play his shehnai. The Doctor loved his art – his way of playing the shehnai. The next day – he shared this incident with Pandit Nehru – and insisted that this man should be invited to play before Nehruji. Nehru agreed – the man was invited – and he played his heart out – he played the shehnai so well – that along with Nehru – the whole gathering was mesmerized. In the days to come – this young man became one of the greatest Shehnai player – he came to be known as Ustad Bismillah Khan!

So you see – this is what one needs – this is what real talent needs – OPPORTUNITY – the RIGHT OPPORTUNITY – which the Kendra Lord provides!

“Opportunities
are like sunrises. If you wait too long, you miss them.”
-WILLIAM ARTHUR WARD

At least ONE planet should be in the KENDRA house (1/4/7/10th house).

In worst scenario – it is okay if you don’t have any planet in the TRIKONA houses which provides TALENT – but you need an opportunity which only the KENDRA house provides.

“All of us do not have equal talent, but all of us should have an equal opportunity to develop our talent.”
-John F. Kennedy

Opportunity to develop talent is what one needs – and so Kendra house LORD and KENDRA HOUSE becomes extremely important in the affairs of human life.

Almost every famous person in this human world has very strong KENDRA HOUSE (1.4.7.10) and strong KENDRADHIPATI (Lord of KENDRA).

In simple words – for MATERIAL WORLD (worldly matters) – KENDRA HOUSE is very important considering OPPORTUNITIES comes through the KENDRA.

Whereas for SPIRITUAL WORLD (spiritual progress/ascetic life) – TRIKONA HOUSE is very important (2.3.6.5.9.8.12) considering WISDOM comes through the TRIKONA HOUSE.

A wise person is a man of awareness – he remains happy because he has the “skills” to find the positive in the negative!

“Always rely on just a happy frame of mind. Let it become one of the fundamental rules of your life. Even if you come across a negative, find something positive in it. You will always be able to find something. And the day you become skillful at finding the positive in the negative, you will dance with joy.”
– Osho

A Yogi may do well even through he doesn’t get any opportunities in life. So for a Yogi – a spiritual being, a Buddha – it is perfectly fine if there are no planets in the KENDRA or very few planet in the KENDRA. For he is happy in his own bliss – he has tasted that which your money, your status and your power cannot! He is no more trapped in his MIND – he has gone beyond the MIND – he has reached the state of Buddha – the state of NO MIND.

Spiritual journey begins when you start going beyond mind.

“First go beyond mind. Then go beyond enlightenment too.
“Don’t get stuck anywhere until you are simply an ordinary part of the existence, with the trees, with the birds, with the animals, with the rivers, with the mountains.
“You feel a deep harmony – no superiority, no inferiority.” -Osho

Such is the state of a real spiritual being – he is no more of this world – he has gone beyond the world – because the world itself is nothing but an extension of your MIND!

“The world is nothing but your own magnified mind. “-OSHO

Your MIND is YOUR WORLD. For a villager – all that happens in his village is his world. For a man living in a city – all that happens in the city is his world. In today’s online world – the scope of the MIND has expanded to all corners of the globe – and so the WORLD has become more larger than it used to be in the ancient times. The bottom line is that your WORLD is simply your own magnified MIND.

One day Mohan asked – “In the birth chart – which house you consider as the most significant house?”

I said to Mohan – “Your question is like asking which organ of your body is significant? In reality every organ of the body is significant – each organ functions by the support of other organ – similarly each house in the birth chart is significant – since each house operates based on the SUPPORT of other houses.”

The 1st house is your SVABHAV – your self-nature.

The 2nd house is your VALUES – only when you have VALUES that the MONEY you earn is used for a good cause.

The 3rd house is your EFFORTS – only through efforts you can do something GREAT.

The 4th house is your INNER MOST BEING – only when the inner being is purified – that you can find PEACE, HAPPINESS in life. 4th house therefore signify happiness.

The 5th house is your INTELLIGENCE. And Intelligence is gained through GOOD KARMA – through MEDITATION – through CHANTING the name of the holy LORD – 5th house therefore is connected with SADHANA, PENANCE, WORSHIP, LOVE!

The 6th house is your strength to FIGHT BACK – and defeat the temptations. Always remember the ENEMY on the outside is less dangerous than the your TEMPTATIONS! Mars, Ketu and Sun therefore do well in the 6th house because to FIGHT LIKE A WARRIOR you need MALE DOMINANCE – which MARS and SUN provides as well as you need to have a certain madness – because only then you can fight like a true warrior – this madness – this going beyond the mind comes through KETU and so 6th house is significant considering the fact that only a FIGHTER WINS – it is not important whether you WIN or LOSE – what is important that you FIGHT till the last breath of your LIFE!

The 7th house is your DEALINGS with OTHERS. And the most significant OTHER person in your life is your PARTNER (Marriage partner or sexual partner). The 7th is how WORLD (others) perceive you? There are men and women who ATTRACT others very easily – this power of attraction is in the 7th house. Whenever a person has MOON in the 7th house – he or she definitely ATTRACTS the opposite sex – they often enjoy many relationships – sexual, love affairs. Whenever RAHU is in the 7th house – the person is very easily distracted towards OTHERS – they are the ones who love to gossip about OTHERS. The marriage partner or sexual partner is RAHUISH by nature – and it is very obvious that these men and women are always in the tight grip of their marriage partner.

The 8th house is the DARK WORLD within you. Each one of us carry a dark world within us – which we are not fully aware of! The secret of our existence, the root of our birth, the purpose of our life is what the 8th house stands for. It is the most significant house in ASTROLOGY – since it holds much depth and many secrets within its abode. GUPT DHAN or SECRET TREASURE is always found through the 8th house. Now it is a different subject that what seems to be a treasure for you – may not be a treasure for me! Money/Gold may be your idea of ‘treasure’ whereas for an evolved soul – Wisdom/Self-Realization is what ‘treasure’ is! So it all depends on the level of the soul – and the level of the soul is based on its level of consciousness!

The 9th house is the house where you exhibit wisdom. 8th house is the source of wisdom – 9th house is where your wisdom is showcased. It is just the way a raw diamond is mined from the mines (8th house) and then the same raw diamond is polished, treated and then displayed in a nice showroom (9th house). People then start believing that diamond is available only in air conditioned showrooms – they miss to realize the FACT that the real source of this diamond is the mines (8th house)!

Reminds me of a wonderful incident. And this is very close to my heart. And this sharing is only for my few close followers – once it happened, the great Hindi poet, Sumitranandan Pant, once asked Osho: who in the vast sky of Indian religion are the twelve people, who in your opinion are the brightest shining stars?

Osho noted the following 12 names:

  1. Krishna
  2. Patanjali
  3. Buddha
  4. Mahavira
  5. Nagarjuna
  6. Shankara
  7. Gorakh
  8. Kabir
  9. Nanak
  10. Meera
  11. Ramakrishna
  12. Jiddu Krishnamurti

Pant said to Osho: “You have excluded Lord Rama!”

Osho said: “If I am allowed to choose only twelve; many names will have to be cut. So I have chosen those twelve people who have made some original contribution. Rama has made no original contribution, Krishna has. This is why Hindus call Krishna a complete incarnation, but not Rama.”

Pant asked further, “Next, could you give me seven names?”

Now the question had become more difficult!

Osho gave him seven names:

  1. Krishna
  2. Patanjali
  3. Buddha
  4. Mahavira
  5. Shankara
  6. Gorakh
  7. Kabir

Pant said: “The five that you have deleted, on what basis did you drop them?”

Osho said: “Nagarjuna is contained in Buddha. That which was a seed in Buddha, manifested itself in Nagarjuna. Nagarjuna can be dropped when it is a question of saving, trees can be dropped, but not seeds, because seeds will again become trees. They will become new trees. When Buddha is born, hundreds of Nagarjunas will soon be born, but no Nagarjuna can give birth to Buddha. Buddha is the headwater of the Ganges. Nagarjuna is just a place of pilgrimage that appears along the course of the Ganges. Lovely, but if cutting is needed, then the place of pilgrimage can be dropped, not the source of the Ganges.

“Similarly Krishnamurti is included in Buddha. Krishnamurti is Buddha’s newest edition — the freshest; in today’s language. But the difference is only of language. Krishnamurti is just an elaboration of Buddha’s final sutra ‘appa dipo bhau’ — be a light unto yourself.’ A commentary on one sutra — deep, profound, tremendously vast, immensely significant! But he’s just a commentary on ‘Be a light unto yourself: appa dipo bhau’. These were Buddha’s last words on this earth. Before leaving his body, he had given this essential sutra… As if the treasure of his whole life, his whole life’s experience was concentrated into this small sutra.

“Ramakrishna can easily be included in Krishna. Meera and Nanak can be dissolved into Kabir. They are like branches of Kabir. As if half of what came together in Kabir has manifested in Nanak and half has manifested in Meera. In Nanak the male aspect of Kabir has manifested, so it is not surprising that Sikhism became a warrior’s religion, a religion of the soldier. In Meera, Kabir’s feminine aspect is manifested — hence his entire sweetness, his entire fragrance, his entire music resound from the bells on Meera’s ankles. The woman in Kabir has sung on the one string of Meera’s ektara. In Nanak the man in Kabir has spoken. Both are contained in Kabir.

“This is how” Osho said, “I made the list of seven.”

Now Pant’s curiosity was tremendously aroused. He said, “And if you had to make a list of five?”

Osho said, “Then it will be even more difficult for me.”

Osho gave him this list:

  1. Krishna
  2. Patanjali
  3. Buddha
  4. Mahavira
  5. Gorakh

Because Kabir is merged into Gorakh. Gorakh is the root. Gorakh cannot be left out. And Shankara easily merges into Krishna. He is the exposition of one part of Krishna, the philosophic interpretation of just one aspect of Krishna.

Pant said: “One more time… if only four are to be kept?”

Then Osho listed for him:

  1. Krishna
  2. Patanjali
  3. Buddha
  4. Gorakh…

Because Mahavira is not very different from Buddha. Just a tiny difference and that too only a difference in expression. Mahavira’s greatness can be encompassed in the greatness of Buddha.

Pant said: “Just one more time… please choose three persons.”

Osho said: “Now it is impossible. I can not drop any of these four.”

Then Osho further explained: “These four individualities are like the four directions. These four dimensions are like the four dimensions of time and space. These four arms are like the four armed conception of god. In fact there is only one, but that one has four arms. To leave out any one would be like cutting off an arm. I cannot do that. Until now I’ve been going along with you. I was continuing to decrease the number, because until now the one’s that had to be put aside were clothes. Now limbs would have to be broken, I cannot fracture limbs. Please don’t insist on such violence.”

Pant said: “Some questions have arisen, one is: you can drop Mahavira, but not Gorakh?”

Osho said “Gorakh cannot be dropped, because Gorakh became a new beginning for this country. No new beginning came from Mahavira. He was a rare man; but for centuries the first twenty three Jaina tirthankaras had already said what he was saying. He was just their repetition. He is not the beginning of a new journey. He is not the first link in a new chain, rather the last link. Gorakh is the first link of a chain. Through him a new type of religion was born. Without Gorakh, there could be no Kabir, no Nanak, no Dadu, no Vajid, no Farid, no Meera — without Gorakh none of these are possible. The basic root of all of them is in Gorakh. Since then the temple has been built high. On this temple many golden spires have been raised… but the foundation stone is the foundation stone. Though the golden spires may be seen from afar, they cannot be more important than the foundation stone. And the foundation is not visible to anyone, but on this very stone stands the whole structure, all the walls, all the high peaks… The peaks are worshipped. People simply forget about the foundation. Gorakh has been similarly forgotten.”

That is how the significance of the 8th house is simply forgotten.

I loved Osho the day I read this excerpt – where he talks about Gorakh – my beloved master – one of the greatest of greatest masters – Gorakhnath!

“The whole palace of India’s literature of the Sant tradition rests on this stone; everything is based on this one individual – Gorakh. He has said it all, and slowly, slowly all he has said will go on becoming more beautiful, a many-colored splendor over time. People will meditate and base their spiritual practice on it for centuries to come. Who knows how many enlightened beings shall be born through Him.” – Osho

Co-incidentally today is THURSDAY – GURUVAR – and what a beautiful moment it is that this beautiful revelation and sharing of HIS greatness has happened today – on THURSDAY itself! That is HIS blessing. Without HIM – I am lifeless – WITH HIM – I am ALIVE.

Jai Gorakhnath! Jai Guru!

The 10th house signify the height – the status that you may attain in your life! 10th house is the sum of your 2nd and 6th house!

Mohan asked “How?”

Because 2nd house is your VALUES, ETHICS, PRINCIPLES and 6th house is your quality of SERVICE – how devoted you are to SERVE – when both 2nd and 6th house qualities are in harmony – the 10th is bound to pass with good marks! That is why your STATUS and your STANDING in the society is purely based on your VALUES (2nd) and your SERVICE (6th) to the society or people in general.

The 11th house is culmination point of your desires. It is here that your desires are fulfilled. But how desires are fulfilled? Only when you take efforts (3rd house) and you network with more people, you communicate effectively and establish good relations with people (7th house)! So you see – 11th house gets good marks only when your 3rd and 7th house is strong and supportive!

The 12th house is the BEYOND. It is the Abode of Shive – the place of Buddha. Now if you are an utterly disgusting individual – many of them that I come across – who simply comment to hurt me – such disgusting individuals will only find the 12th house the most painful house! And many also get imprisoned – but those beautiful souls – those beautiful individuals who are meditative – who are turning inwards – who are taking efforts towards their self-growth – to such individuals the 12th house becomes a great rejuvenating place to be! 12th house gets its marks based on the state of your 4th house and 8th house. For spiritual progress – the 4th.8th.12th is of immense significance.

So this is how the whole story of KENDRA and TRIKONA house is. It is a deep subject – may be it is so deep and so interesting that a whole book can be written or a whole series of episodes can be made sitting before a camera!

For now – this is enough. May be someday I will elaborate more on this wonderful subject.

In this October – my new book “Saturn Demystified Spiritually” is coming – I have mentioned many remedies in this brand new book for the larger interest of all my followers and readers – I am certain that this book will benefit my readers – just the way my previous published books have.

Love to all my readers – and always remember – negative people are many, but among these negative idiotic people – we must find the good ones – the beautiful souls. One day – Yukteshwar Giri (the Guru of Paramhansa Yogananda) said to Mahavatar Babaji – “There are many FAKE people in this KUMBH MELA – and so I hestitate to visit the KUMBH MELA.”

To this the great benevolent compassionate divine master – Mahavatar Babaji (Gorakhnath) said “ This human world is a mixture of salt and sugar – one must pick the sugar and leave the salt aside.”

The message was very clear – that though there are many FAKE Saints in the Kumbh Mela or in this human world – still you should consciously share and help those who are worthy of your sharing – who are sugar and NOT salt!

In this vast human world of fake fellows – there are few good authentic beings in this human world and they are thirsty – they are longing – they are waiting – they are the seekers and they must not be ignored – they should be nurtured.

My sharing is only for those who have a certain depth of understanding. My videos or my posts are only for them – the rest can ignore – I have never asked anybody to read or watch my videos – for I am perfectly aware that only those will come who are true to themselves – who are the future Buddhas!

“There have been many Buddhas before me and will be many Buddhas in the future.”
-Buddha

Stay blessed and remember to meditate every day.

Love.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Mars-Venus Conjunction Effects

Venus and Mars coming together is a sign that LOVE and SEX are now entangled with each other! In simple words it means that the native cannot imagine love without SEX! And interestingly those who have this conjunction — they have a great sex appeal! They generally look very hot and sexy and their life is also spiced up with many love affairs or even a single love affair is so intense that they just cannot imagine a 💔 breakup and by destiny if they face a 💔 breakup then it really impacts them very badly — I have seen women and men remaining unmarried just because they cannot think of anybody else other than their lover who left them half-way!

5th house is the hub of love affairs and romantic experiences. And so when you have the HOT 🔥 SIZZLING CONJUNCTION OF VENUS AND MARS in the very HUB OF LOVE AFFAIRS (5th house) then the native is bound to fall in love multiple times in life or he may fall in love with just one woman but that will be so INTENSE that his whole life will be engulfed by just that ONE LOVE — ONE WOMAN!

The very first glimpse of 💕 LOVE happens through the eyes! LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT – is something that often happens with natives having Venus Mars conjunction!

“Seeing is believing and love at first sight, is as true and real as it gets.”

Love is first seen through the eyes! That is why the saying goes that if you want to know whether the woman loves you — look into her eyes, for the eyes can NEVER deceive!

And so is the Love that showers from the eyes of the Master — but such a love is of higher altitudes, it is unconditional, it is Pure, it is Divine!

The greatest love stories are indeed the love stories that happened between a disciple and the master – the disciple moving towards the master – the master moving towards the disciple – it is so pure, so divine, that language is poor, it is beyond the power of words to express the love between a disciple and the master!

“No love as as total as the love that happens between the master and the disciple. The love that happened between John and Jesus, the love that happened between Sariputta and Buddha, Gautama and Mahavira, Arjuna and Krishna, Chang Tzu and Lao Tzu – there are the real love stories, the highest pinnacles of love.”
– Osho

Reminds me of a great spiritual master – His Holiness Shridhar Swami. He was one of the greatest master — he lived in the small town of Alandi. Many people would come to him to seek solutions – and he was a man of many miracles, he healed many diseases and he also helped thousands in overcoming the black magic spells. He was a great Yogi – but what a great human being he was! And I had met him when he was 75 years old. Just 3 years of acquaintance and he was so fond of me. I could see that pure love in his eyes….he would fondly address me as TAMHANKAR. He was a man of miracles, a great spiritual master. One afternoon he was lying on his bed and I happened to visit him, he remained lying on his bed, I stepped ahead — he was a diabetic patient and so he had urinated in a glass bottle and the bottle was kept on a table near his bed. I looked at the bottle, it was filled with his urine. I said to him “ Baba, I will empty this bottle…”

At that moment the love that I saw in his eyes is beyond the power of expression. He could see that I have absolutely no problem in touching the bottle filled with his urine….he just nodded his head and said “ It’s ok. You don’t have to do this.”

The love between a disciple and the master cannot be expressed in words. Our bonding was very strong, in his Ashram — the name TAMHANKAR became so well known in his Ashram that if I missed to visit him for a few weeks then everyone would start asking where is Tamhankar?

The greatest honor that I had while being in His omnipresence was when he asked me to prepare his Horoscope!! I said “ Baba it is like Krishna asking Sudama to prepare his Horoscope! You are the greatest enlightened being I have ever met in person and so why you need horoscope?”

Baba was a very humorous person. I still remember his smiling face, often he would joke and often he would laugh at himself!

“Fools laugh at others. Wisdom laughs at itself.”
Rajneesh

Look into my eyes – Baba said “ Tamhankar what’s wrong in making my horoscope. Make it.”

I made his horoscope. He was born on 1938, 18th November. He look at his horoscope and said — now predict something. I also want to know about my future.”

And he started laughing loudly. A true Saint is always humorous – he laughs, he smiles, he is in his own bliss!

“If you find a sainť who has no sense of humour, then he is not a saint at all.”
-Osho

Those who were present were surprised — one of them said to me “ This is the first time in his life that Baba has asked someone about Astrology. You are very fortunate.”

This is all – the Leela of the Master. The Master’s Love is simply inexpressible! And it is only through tears that you express the inexpressible!

“Never be ashamed of your tears. Be proud that you are still natural. Be proud that you can express the inexpressible through your tears.” – Osho

That moment my eyes were filled with tears. I feel upon Baba’s feet and Baba gave a pat on my back. It was a blessing.

Baba left his mortal body in the August of 2020. But I often remember the many moments of sharing that we had together. He would share many stories with me in private, his devotees in the Ashram would often say — When Tamhankar comes Baba is very happy.

Through out his life – Baba performed many miracles, he was an expert in removing black magic spells and nobody had the guts to stand before his immense spiritual power and yet he lived a very simple life. He belonged to a very rich family of landlords but he left everything and spend over forty years in a simple room – he never had to do any SHOW OFF – no long beard and no saffron clothes and no big tilak and no advertisements – he lived in his own way – simple and sweet.

Always remember – the REAL never has to do any SHOW OFF.

“SHOWING OFF IS THE FOOL’S IDEA OF GLORY.”
-BRUCE LEE

Love has many levels. Always remember this and I say this to all my close followers and readers. Love exists from the lowest rung to the highest rung.

“There are many, many layers, many planes of love. It all depends on you. If you are existing on the lowest rung, you will have a totally different idea of love than the person who is existing on the highest rung. Adolf Hitler will have one idea of love, Gautam Buddha another; and they will be diametrically opposite, because they are at two extremes.” – Osho

Venus Mars conjunction is a Hot Love. It is not the love of Buddha because Buddha’s Love is cold and not hot.

The general public have always known only one type of love and that is Hot Love! In fact even when they eat Dog – they want HOT DOG!

Yesterday Mohan’s friend came and said “ My girlfriend has lost interest in me…”

I asked “ Why what happened?”

He said “ She says “ You are No More 🔥 Hot.”

You see — this is how Love is expected to be. Hot. Very Hot.

Venus Mars conjunction is capable of producing such HOT LOVE.

One day Mohan asked me “ What is Hot Love?”

I said “ Hot Love means PASSIONATE LOVE.”

BUT the problem with passionate love or hot love is that it loses interest very fast!

Mohan asked “ Why so?”

Because the attraction is more towards physical pleasures. Once you have explored every part of the body then exploring the same body again and again seems boring. And then one loses interest because how long can you chew the same stick?

Sexual or physical attraction cannot last forever. You simply see some beautiful face, you see some beautiful body and you think, “My God, I am in love!” This love is not going to last, because after two days, seeing the same face for twenty-four hours a day, you will get bored. The same body… you have explored the whole topography; now there is nothing to explore. Exploring the same geography again and again, you feel like an idiot. That is how relationships formed out of physical attraction fall apart! Venus Mars conjunction drives you crazy – as you simply get attracted physically towards the opposite sex and the opposite sex also gets attracted towards your because of your immense physical beauty!

The other aspect of Venus Mars conjunction is emotional vulnerability. Emotions ( Venus) becomes often intense and wild ( Mars) leading to a highly emotional love story that either converts into a legal union ( marriage) or a serious relationship which is NO LESS than a marriage!

💔 Break-up is a very common trait of this conjunction. Because both — the male and female are so intense in their love relationship, there is so much emotion involved that even a slightest mistake of misunderstanding each other can lead to a heart breaking love story.

90% of the men and women having Venus Mars conjunction are found to be sexy and very attractive. A Venus Mars conjunction woman find it difficult to prevent attraction from men. I knew one woman and she had Mars Venus conjunction in Aries sign! And she looked very sensual and attractive. Wherever she went — she could sense the unwanted attraction and attention from men. Finally she decided to have a low profile. So she would not do any makeup, no hair styling — nothing. She started moving in simple dress and yet STILL she could see men attracted towards Her!

You see — Mars Venus conjunction brings great power of attraction. The native attracts the attention of opposite sex.

Once a woman asked me “ It seems I am not able to attract attention of men towards me. How to attract attention of men?”

I said “ You are attractive. The fact is that you look beautiful and there are many men who may find themselves pulled towards you but nobody will tell you on the face — because men are afraid of what you may think if they compliment you!”

And that is true. Many times we want to appreciate the beauty but in today’s world you never know what fuss one may make out of this appreciation!

Reminds me of my youthful days when I was 25. I was flying from Mumbai to San Fransisco and in my flight — the passenger next to me was a very beautiful young woman in her mid twenties. I was young and that was my very first flight outside India. The flight had a stop at Heathrow Airport — while changing the flight — I saw her again, she was standing and reading a magazine…I thought to step ahead and just compliment her by saying “ You truly look like a goddess!” But then I changed my mind because who knows— she may have taken it wrongly and may not have liked me appreciating her beauty!

It is a different story that a time came in my life when I was no more attracted towards the physical beauty because when you experience something that is beyond — something that is of higher altitudes — then you no more remain trapped in the physical beauty because physical beauty is temporary — spiritual beauty is immortal!

But as far as this material world is concerned — it is indeed a fact that people notice your physical beauty but rarely will anybody dare to speak up his mind openly because in this Kali-Yug AGE — you never know what meaning one will derive even though your intention is very pure and you simply want to admire the beauty that God has so lovingly bestowed on him or her!

“THE SECRET OF HAPPINESS IS TO ADMIRE WITHOUT DESIRING.”
– Carl Sandburg

Venus Mars conjunction works wonders for natives born on:

VIRGO ASCENDANT – the beauty of VIRGO Ascendant is that these fellows are blessed with a YOUTHFUL APPERANCE. I know many men and women born on VIRGO ASCENDANT and most of them don’t look their age! A 52 years old woman (Virgo Ascendant) will look almost ten years younger and on top of that if she has this SEXY conjunction of Venus and Mars – then she will give a tough competition to even those girls who are just 18! Virgo is very much youthful in appearance and generally these fellows are not bulky or fat – they maintain good shape, they focus on dieting a lot!

GEMINI ASCENDANT – Gemini is a next-door girl or next-door boy ascendant sign. Meaning these are very accommodating, easy-to-go individuals – and generally these fellows love to PARTY! The sign GEMINI is basically very sexy – in fact highly sexual – in Hindi or Marathi – the name for this sign is MITHUN – but the real pronunciation is MAITHUN – which means ‘Intercourse’ – and so Venus Mars conjunction for this Ascendant gives birth to a highly sexy person – many well known actors and actresses are born with this setup – Gemini Ascendant and Venus Mars conjunction! This deadly combination makes these fellows very attractive and appealing – if you fall for a woman having this setup in her birth chart than I will not blame you – you just cannot control yourself when you are in company with such a HOT GAL!

LIBRA ASCENDANT – Highly diplomatic and social by nature – Libra Ascendant men and women are also highly intellectual and take great interest in philosophy, romance, thriller books and movies. Venus Mars conjunction not only make these fellows highly appealing but along with physical beauty – they also have intellectuality which makes a great combination to attract a suitable mate!

Taurus Ascendant – Taurus is a sign that is more interested in the outer appearance and so they themselves take immense efforts in enhancing their beauty – they exercise, take brisk walks – because physical appearance means a lot to them. These are fellows who are more interest in action – if they love you then they would want to express it by kissing you on the lips! Designs, fashion, beautiful surroundings, perfect ambience is all that matters a lot to them and Venus Mars conjunction makes them just more appealing and attractive – a woman having Taurus Ascendant and Venus Mars conjunction is just too hot to handle – only someone who resonates with her – can actually win her heart! These fellows are very romantic by heart – bubbling, chatting, joyous by nature. Having a Taurus Ascendant woman as a girlfriend or a wife is indeed a great blessing – because they can make your world – a much beautiful world!

Ideally for Mercury and Venus ruled Ascendants – Mars Venus conjunction works wonders, however there is one more Ascendant that often becomes a great place for Venus Mars conjunction and that is the Ascendant – ARIES.

Aries Ascendant – These are bossy people – they like to dominate and they are simply brilliant when it comes to adventures and sports. They are courageous beings and they will not waste a minute to express their feelings especially if they are in love with you! They will simply express their heart out – saying “I LOVE YOU” is not difficult for these fellows – they are Martians – they like to keep it STRAIGHT. SHORT and SWEET is their motto and then whether it is LOVE or HATE – they are quick to express themselves! And when it comes to SEX – then too they are very quick – they like to get in action and they know what you want when it comes to satisfying your sexual desires!

Venus Mars conjunction makes these Aries Ascendant fellows emotionally intense and unfortunately they experience many breakups – until one day they finally settle with the love of their life!

For other 7 Ascendants – Venus Mars conjunction needs certain remedies, otherwise this conjunction can simply drive them crazy in the matters of love relationships or if the chart is too bad then also they may get dragged into multiple sexual relationships!

Always remember – and I specifically say this to my close followers – that don’t ask what happens when Venus Mars come together, instead ask yourself – WHY they have come together in your birth chart!

This – WHY – can move you inwards. This – WHY – can motivate you to embark on the greatest journey – the Journey Within.

Remember – there are many millionaires who die like a beggar -they have everything but they dies with utter disappointment – in a miserable mind state and then there are a few – very few who die like an EMPEROR – in their own bliss.

You have to decide – which way you want to move – for those who have died like an Emperor – have lived like the BUDDHA! So decide – which path you want to walk?

The path of an ignorant being. OR

The path of Buddha.

Your destiny and your future births are purely based on the path you choose – choose wisely.

“यहां सिकंदर भी भिखमंगो की तरह मरते है। सम्राट की तरह मरना हो तो बुद्धों की तरह जीना सीखो।” -ओशो
“Here emperors die like beggars. If you want to die like emperors then learn to live like Buddhas.” – Osho

To live like Buddha – you need to learn to WATCH – to WITNESS.

“You know only two ways; either to be angry, be violent, destructive, or to repress it. You don’t know the third way, and the third way is the way of the buddhas; neither indulge nor repress – watch.”
-OSHO

Just Watch – Just WITNESS – don’t indulge in any act – just watch, just witness – and you will be able to do so only when you become more and more DETACHED.

See how it is all inter-linked – WITNESSING is POSSIBLE only through the state of DETACHMENT!

Detachment means – you can live with your parents, with your family, you can owe dozens of cars and bungalows – BUT – you will not get attached to any of these – you will remain detached.

O mighty-armed son of Kunti, it is undoubtedly very difficult to curb the restless mind, but it is possible by suitable practice and by detachment.”
– Bhagavad-gītā

Mohan asked “How to get to the state of detachment?”

I hugged Mohan and said “ Nobody has asked this question – hundred of people come to me – but nobody has asked this beautiful question. Since you have asked – I will answer.”

Attachment is of the MIND – remember this. And to reach to the state of detachment – you have to focus on overcoming this MIND. And to do so – the only UPAY – the only SOLUTION – the only REMEDY is chanting the holy Mantra, my dear.

It is through chanting that you slowly slowly move beyond the mind – then you can start experiencing the state of detachment. It all begins with NAAM – that is why Baba Nanak has emphasized on the NAAM – that is why Sant Kabir has stressed on chanting – that is why Saint Tulsidas and many enlightened beings have encouraged us to focus on chanting!

But who wants to listen?

Those few who have listen – who have started chanting the name of the Lord have progressed much faster in life – materially as well as spiritually! Because the power of chanting is immense but only blessed souls can realize this power – can appreciate this power!

“What cannot be achieved through the performance of Vedic rituals can be easily achieved through the chanting of the Lord’s holy name.”
– Srimad-Bhagavatam , Srila Prabhupada

Life is simple – my fellows. It is your MIND that complicates Life. And to control and overcome this monkey MIND – the only way is to chant – only through chanting can you pacify the restless mind.

“(KIRAT KARO)
WORK HARD AND HONESTLY
(NAAM JAPPO)
ALWAYS REMEMBER GOD
(WANND CHHAKO)
SHARE WITH THE NEEDY”
-GURU NANAK

Venus Mars comes together because – for many past births you have been too focused on sexuality – on physical beauty – on physical appearances – but this birth you can work on overcoming these traits of your many past repeats – by starting chanting regularly – with consistency and devotion.

There is much more to share but for now – enough. My sharing is only for those blessed souls – who follow ME, who CONNECT with ME, and who carry a pure heart. To such souls – my doors are always open – but only for these selective souls who understand the language of heart.

‘The mind has a dilemma. It is afraid of change, deeper change, yet the mind is attracted to life, which is change. Don’t be mixed up in all that business. You merely observe, casually, passively and keep your attention inside your Heart.’
– Mooji

Your heart is beautiful – your heart knows the way – what comes between is the MIND.

Mind is the most difficult prison – a meditative being’s focus should be in breaking this prison by focusing more and more on our heart – until one day the heart opens up and you start experiencing the beyond – the unseen – the divine!

“You have to keep breaking your heart until it opens”
-Rumi

Love to all my followers and readers. Stay blessed and remember to meditate every day. Chant the holy mantra and focus on your breathing – remember – it is only through consistent efforts that you can attain self-growth.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Rahu in Vishakha

Intensity is the word for Vishakha. Whether it is learning, whether it is love, whether it is sex, whether it is work, or whether it is meditation – the person having Rahu in Vishakha or Moon in Vishakha or Sun in Vishakha is very intense in whatsoever he or she does – and this is exactly what the master wants – Intensity.

What is intensity? How would you define intensity?

When all your desires, when all your passions become one flame, it is intensity. When there is only one desire left inside you and your total being supports that one, it is intensity.

The general public talks a lot about God and seeking God – but out of millions of people – only one becomes Buddha, only one becomes Mahavira, only one becomes Kabir! Why only a few in millions attain GOD REALIZATION – why only a few could experience the beyond – the unseen because not everybody has the INTENSITY that these fellows had!

Always remember – you will find millions of people coming and asking the most foolish question – “How to experience God?” – and these people will create and add many philosophical theories on how to experience God – beware of such people – my fellows because PHILOSOPHY AND THEORIES have absolutely nothing to do with GOD.

GOD is NOT a philosophical theory, it is an experience of intense passion.

“WHEN THE GUEST IS BEING SEARCHED FOR, IT IS THE INTENSITY OF THE LONGING FOR THE GUEST THAT DOES ALL THE WORK.
LOOK AT ME, AND YOU WILL SEE A SLAVE OF THAT INTENSITY.”
– KABIR –

Kabir is simply interested in your intensity. Who can be intense?

Only that man – only that woman who has dropped the head, the mind! Many people would come to Kabir and say “ I want to become your disciple.” Kabir would smile and say “If you want to become my disciple then first you have to cut off your head – only then can you become my disciple.”

The head (logic) cannot let you jump – and GOD can be experienced only when you are willing to take the RISK – when you are willing to JUMP into the unknown!

“They say: Think twice before you jump. I say: Jump first and then think as much as you want!” -OSHO

Only a man of heart – only a woman of heart can jump – and only such a man, such a woman can fall in love! And if you can fall in love – then someday you can also fall in love with GOD! That is how Meera Bai fell in love with Krishna – Lord Krishna! How to express the intense devotion of Meera bai, how to express the intense devotion of Arjuna, how to express the intense devotion of John, the Baptist – that is why I say that the greatest lovers on this planet have been intense – so much so that they have forgotten themselves totally – they have become the greatest lovers that the world had ever known!

Vishakha Nakshtra has such intensity. That is why Sri Guru loves Vishaka, that is why in Astrology – planet Jupiter rules over Vishakha – Vishakha is the abode of Jupiter, the abode of Buddha!

The intensity of Vishaka if gets the support of Ketu (detachment) then a great Yogi is born – a great soul is born who shows the path – the way to his followers – to those who are thirsty for GOD, for the ultimate TRUTH! Remember – Guru will never give you the TRUTH – instead HE will point you towards the TRUTH – which you have to attain by taking the necessary efforts.

“A TEACHER IS NEVER A GIVER OF TRUTH. HE IS A GUIDE, A POINTER TO THE TRUTH, THAT EACH STUDENT MUST FIND FOR HIMSELF.”
-BRUCE LEE

You will be able to experience the truth only when you have intensity within you! VISHAKHA is the source of great INTENSITY and one who has RAHU in VISHAKHA is indeed a man, a woman of great intensity. They can go to any extent when it comes to LOVE – and only one who can RISK everything for LOVE – can also RISK everything for GOD – because GOD is LOVE and LOVE is REAL!

A Scorpion (Born in Moon or Sun Sign Scorpio (last 5 degrees of LIBRA or first 3 degrees of Scorpio) is a man of great intensity – if he loves a woman, he is prepared to SACRIFICE for her!

“True love is selfless. It is prepared to sacrifice.”
– Sadhu Vaswani

Always remember – EGO is happy when it is able to take something. Whereas LOVE is happy when it is able to give something.

“True love is sacrifice.
It is in giving, not in getting; in losing not in gaining!”
– DADA J.P. VASWANI

Vishakha has a certain depth of understanding and it is this depth of understanding that enables the native to sacrifice for the larger interest of his LOVE – a man having RAHU in VISHAKHA is perfectly aware that LOVE blossoms when you have a certain depth of understanding.

Buddha says – To understand everything is to forgive everything!

“True love is born from understanding”
-Gautama Buddha

Fellows born on Vishakha Nakshtra (Moon/Sun in Vishakha) are truly born lovers. And Rahu in Vishakha simply exaggerates this tendency of falling in love – multiple times in life! And so when you have the tendency of falling in love – then it is but natural that you may end up having multiple love affairs! And so Rahu in Vishakha Nakshtra fellows simply end up having multiple love affairs in life.

Sex is very important for a native having Rahu in Libra (Swati) nakshatra – however Rahu in Libra & Scorpio (VISHAKHA NAKSHATRA) – SEX after marriage is more desirable – basically having sex by maintaining certain ethics and morality is what natives having Rahu in VISHAKHA prefers considering the strong influence of Jupiter on Vishakha nakshatra. SAFE SEX using proper condoms is what these natives prefer – Rahu in Swati and Rahu in Vishakha – both love SEX – SEX is their favorite subject however the only difference is that RAHU in Swati will just rush to take you in the bed – while RAHU in VISHAKHA will first follow all precautions, ethics and then will love to sleep with you in the bed. Since Vishakha is intense by nature – even sex is too intense – as if the whole bed is on fire!

Early ejaculation is a major problem – because that leaves your bed partner sexually unsatisfied. When Rahu is in Vishakha – Jupiter should be strong – else sexual problems such as early ejaculation, less sexual energy, erection issues arise.

Always remember – when there is LOVE – there is NO SEXUALITY and when there is no love but only lust – then there is only sex and that is ugly. Love is born in sexuality but sexuality is not love. The lotus is born in the mud, but the lotus is not just mud. And if mud remains mud of course there are bound to be tears on the cheeks.

“Remember, you can make love to a woman without any love in your heart — then it is pure sexuality, animality; it is prostitution. You can make love to a woman with no idea of sex, then love is just a pure communication of two energies, a sharing, a dance, a celebration. No idea of sex in the mind and you can make love to a woman, and the woman can make love to you not thinking of sex at all. The whole point is where your mind is. If you are thinking of sex, if your mind is obsessed with sex, you simply want to use the woman, the woman simply wants to use you, it is ugly. It has no aesthetics in it, no poetry in it. There is nothing of the beyond in it — it is very muddy.” – Osho

It is necessary to remember that LOVE IS CREATIVE. SEX IS DESTRUCTIVE. When you have absolutely no love – but you are just hungry for sex – then any human body will do! And that is how you fall from grace – that is how you screw up your life by falling for sexual desires.

LOVE is beautiful. SEXUALITY is ugly. Sexuality means you think about woman, and woman and woman all the time – especially at night when you go to bed!

“There is a lot of difference between LOVE & SEX. Sometimes you start thinking that your sexuality is your love. Then you are deceived. Sexuality can play the game of love, but it is a counterfeit game. I am not against sex, but I am certainly against sexuality. And the difference is that sex is a natural thing and sexuality is a mind thing. To love a woman is natural, to love a man is natural. To reproduce children is natural, nothing wrong in it. But to think about women, to carry erotic pictures, to fall asleep every night thinking about women women and women and women that is sexuality.” – Osho

There was one priest. He lived in Toronto, Canada. He was a very faithful person, he would recite the holy scriptures, he would follow all the religious dogmas but he had a major problem – and that was his intense sexual hunger. And so he would often go to certain localities where women were available and then have sex with them. Now because of this – all his positive vibrations that he ‘earned’ by reciting the holy scriptures and spiritual practices was spoiled by the vibrations of those women with whom he would indulge in sexual intercourse. And those women were prostitutes – so you see this is how sexuality or intense sexual desires can actually spoil your spiritual growth if it is not aligned properly. Had this man married a woman – he would have saved the utter destruction of his spiritual growth – OR – had this man entered into a serious relationship – he would have saved himself from the utter negative vibrations of prostitutes with whom he was sleeping! Ironically this priest was aware of his foolishness – but SEXUALITY had engulfed him so much that he just had given up to his sexual desires – to his sexuality. Whenever he would get an intense sexual desire – he would just pick women to satisfy the ‘wants’ of his sexuality!

“When you are in sexuality you don’t bother much to whom you are making love – any body will do. You just need a woman or a man, any body will do. You just need the other’s body. In love, any body won’t do, anybody’s body won’t do. You need a person who is in deep love with you, who has a certain affinity and harmony with you, in whose presence your heart starts singing, a deep bell starts ringing… in whose presence you feel a blessing. Then only is it possible for you to make love to the other person. To make love is possible only if the meeting – the inner meeting – has happened. Otherwise it is simply impossible to think, even to imagine that you are making love to a person you don’t love.” – Osho

Always remember – SEXUAL INTERCOURSE – directly impacts your planets and stars because when you have sexual intercourse – amalgamation of two bodies takes places – it like the amalgamation of two galaxy of planets and that is why marriage matchmaking has so much importance because marriage gives you the legal visa to have sexual intercourse and if your partner is NOT compatible (meaning the vibrations mismatch with your vibrations) then your downfall begins immediately after you enter into sexual union.

Whenever RAHU is in LIBRA – irrespective of which NAKSHTRA Rahu is in – great interest in sexuality is always there – sex is always lurking in the mind. If Venus is afflicted – then one is driven towards sexuality and eventually sexuality and intense sexual desires becomes the cause of downfall. However IF Venus is well placed and in case of RAHU IN VISHAKHA – Jupiter is also well placed and Yogakaraka then the native having RAHU in VISHAKHA enjoys sexual pleasures to the fullest.

SEX is NOT bad. In fact – it is very wrong to imagine that if you are on the spiritual path then sex should be dropped – that is idiotic. Sex should not be dropped – but sex should arise out of love – deep love – intense love.

“Love can give a new soul to sex. Then the sex is transfigured, it becomes beautiful; it is no longer sex, it has something of the beyond in it. It has become a bridge.” – Osho

Rahu in LIBRA is indeed a great placement to understand – experience – and eventually overcome sexuality by emphasizing on LOVE – realizing the significance and beauty of LOVE.

Always remember – SEX never UNITES you with your partner. Never. People think that by having intense sex with your partner – you become ONE with your partner – but that is a myth – SEX never unites you – it never can.

“When you make sex to a person, woman or man, you think it unites you. For a moment it gives you the illusion of unity and then a vast division suddenly comes in. That’s why, after every sex act, a frustration, a depression sets in. One feels that one is so far away from the beloved. Sex divides, and when love goes deeper and deeper and unites more and more, there is no need for sex. Your inner energies can meet without sex, and you live in such a unity.” – Osho

Rahu in Libra sign (irrespective of whether Rahu is in Swati or Vishakha) should realize this fact – that SEX cannot unite you with your wife or girlfriend- sex cannot create a lasting relationship however LOVE can create a lasting relationship, a permanent bonding between YOU & your Partner.

So the very first message to all individuals having Rahu in Vishakha is – Focus on Love. And NOT on sex.

The very word sex comes from a root which means division. Love unites, sex divides. Sex is the root cause of division.

Rahu in Vishakha is excellent for those who are born on:

  • Taurus Ascendant
  • Gemini Ascendant
  • Virgo Ascendant
  • Libra Ascendant
  • Sagittarius Ascendant
  • Aquarius Ascendant

However it should be noted that Jupiter should be well placed in the chart – else even for these Ascendants – Rahu in Vishakha can give negative results instead of positive. Jupiter placed in first, fifth, ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth house is highly beneficial and then Rahu in Vishakha works well for the native – the native attains much wealth and pleasures of human life.

Great teachers, Gurus and healers are born on Vishakha Nakshtra – Seeta, the consort of Lord Rama was also born on Vishakha Nakshtra!

Only a man – only a woman who has certain intensity within – can experience the beyond, the Godly, the divine! And so it is natural that whenever you are born on Vishakha Nakshtra (Moon Sign Vishakha Nakshtra or Sun Sign Vishakha Nakshtra) – you are bound to experience the divine, the Godly at some stage of your life provided you are an evolved soul and taking the necessary efforts in realizing your Self!

8th house is the house of intensity, 8th house is where the real transformation happens, 8th house is where you attain a certain depth of understanding! And so Vishakha becomes a highly intense, transformative Nakshtra having a certain depth of understanding. 8th house is ruled by Scorpio in the Kaal Purush Kundali – and Vishaka Nakshtra spans from Libra 20 degree’ – to 3.20 degree in Scorpio! Vishakha starts at 20 degree in Libra – however it ends only after occupying the first 3 degrees of Scorpio sign! And that gives Vishakha the intelligence of Libra as well as the depth of Scorpio sign! Vishakha therefore provides the great potential of higher studies, research activities, and interest in occultism – and if the soul is evolved then one also attains spiritual enlightenment. Depending on the evolution and level of consciousness – either the native goes for the dark occult world of spirits and ghosts and black magic OR if the soul is evolved then you will find someone as great as spiritual being as the Buddha. Remember – Occultism and Spiritualism are two separate paths. The black magician walk on the path of occultism which way lower than the path on which the Buddha walks….

Rahu in Vishakha is like a powerful 4000 cc engine – however it is necessary to observe whether the DRIVER has the potential to drive this powerful engine (Rahu in Vishakha) efficiently and attain the destination (goal) of life.

Who is this DRIVER?

Jupiter. Guru. The Master.

Who is the Guru?

The SELF is the GURU – says Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi.

Who is the SELF?

The SELF is your CONSCIOUSNESS.

And so it is only when you raise the level of your consciousness that this RAHU in VISHAKHA can actually help you attain the mission – the goal of your life!

There is a possibility – that many souls come in human form with higher level of consciousness – to such souls – RAHU in VISHAKHA becomes a wonderful medium to progress further in their spiritual growth.

Always remember – millions of people are born each minute with Rahu in Vishakha – so certain aspects always differ based on individual charts – as mentioned earlier – NOBODY is INFERIOR and NOBODY is SUPERIOR but NOBODY is EQUAL either! Every person is UNIQUE and Astrology is just one of the many sciences to study the uniqueness of each individual on this planet.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE is one of the striking quality of Rahu in VISHAKHA nakshatra. And there is a reason for this. Vishakha dwells in AIRY sign LIBRA as well as it also dwells in the WATERY sign SCORPIO. WATERY SIGNS bring emotions to forefront. AIRY SIGNS bring intelligence to forefront. Combine both – and you get EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE!

VISHAKHA thus gets the BEST of both signs – LIBRA brings balance, intelligence and Scorpio brings intensity and emotions to forefront! Such a native is good at expressing himself.

Relationships means a LOT to natives having Rahu in Vishakha Nakshatra and generally if Jupiter and Venus is well placed then these fellows do well in maintaining their relationships by being emotionally intelligent.

Vishakha brings a certain ART – the native has attained expertise in certain art – be it dancing, cooking, singing, or playing music!

Reminds of Sri Ravi Shankar – the great sitarist, lyricist, dancer and international ambassador of classical Indian music.

“Many people, especially young people, have started listening to sitar since George Harrison, one of the Beatles, became my disciple.”
-Ravi Shankar

Ravi Shankar had Rahu in Vishakha nakshatra. Rahu was placed in the 8th house with Mars in his horoscope. Rahu is in Libra (Vishakha) and Venus is exalted in Pisces and placed in the Ascendant. On top of that – Jupiter is also exalted and placed in Cancer – in the 5th house! So as mentioned in the very beginning of this sharing – when Jupiter (Vishakha ruled by Jupiter) and Venus (Libra ruled by Venus) – then this RAHU in VISHAKHA is empowered and gets all the necessary ‘vitamins’ to perform well for the individual’s growth. 8th house is directly connected with FAME – and so Pandit Ravi Shankar becomes one of the most famous sitarist that the world had ever known!

“The music that I have learned and want to give is like worshiping God. It’s absolutely like a prayer.”
-Pandit Ravi Shankar

In December 1974, Panditji was invited to perform in the White House. Rahu in 8th house – especially in Vishakha Nakshatra can bring abundance of wealth and fame – when Jupiter and Venus are well placed and supporting in the birth chart.

Vishakha Rahu has immense power to produce high priests, religious beings – since Vishakha brings the direct connection of Jupiter – Sri Guru! Reminds me of Pope St. John Paul II.

“The Rosary is my favorite prayer. It is a marvelous prayer.”
-St. John Paul II

St. John Paul II reigned as Pope of the Catholic Church and sovereign of Vatican City for 26 years and six months (October 1978–April 2005). He had Rahu in Vishakha Nakshatra. As mentioned in the very beginning of this sharing – Rahu simply exaggerates the power of Jupiter however Jupiter should be well placed in the birth chart. Vishakha can either make you staunch religious or a spiritual being.

St. John Paul was the religious head of the Catholic Church which is revered by millions of Catholic Christians around the globe. St. John Paul (Pope) had Rahu in Vishakha – placed in Ascendant. A planet or Rahu/Ketu in Ascendant is always more powerful. They can either make or break your life – always remember this.

Overall it is necessary to remember that Rahu is NOT a planet – it is simply your DESIRE. The quality of your desire defines the future course of your destiny. The quality of your desire is evaluated based on the Lord of the Sign and the Nakshatra Lord in which your RAHU is placed. As mentioned several times in many of my shadings and podcasts – ASTROLOGY is NOT one dimensional because LIFE is NOT one dimensional. Life is multidimensional.

“Life is here and now, multidimensional, spreading in every direction. If you want to move into life, throw your specs – throw your concepts, systems, thoughts, minds. Be born into life here and now, this multidimensional life spreading everywhere. Then you become the center and the whole life belongs to you, not only a particular road. Then the whole life belongs to you.
Everything that is in it, all, belongs to you.” Osho

This is the realization – that I am not a drop in the ocean, I am a whole ocean in a drop! In our scriptures the ancient Seers therefore mention – AHAM BRAMHASMI – meaning I AM THE UNIVERSE. ALL THAT IS ON THE OUTSIDE – the STARS, the PLANETS – they are within me and this is so deep – only an evolved soul could relate – could resonate with this!

Sing, dance, celebrate life and live life intensely – that is the message of Rahu in Vishakha Nakshatra. Kabir says – God is not attained by your theories and techniques – God is attained only when you have INTENSE THIRST for attaining HIM – the beyond, the divine!

Ordinary people go on moving in circle – they think they are moving – but they continue to move in circle – just the way a bull continues to move in circle when tied for extracting oil from seed crops.

Growth means NOT moving in circle. Growth means something new is happening every day, every moment. And when does that happen?

When you start living intensely – and that is exactly what VISHAKHA is all about – my fellows. Rahu in Vishakha simply exaggerates this intensity – now depending on the quality of the horoscope, quality of Jupiter, Venus in your birth chart – this exaggerated intensity will trigger – it can either make you a DON or a SAINT. There is no middle ground – you are either a HITLER or a BUDDHA – EXTREMES is the very nature of VISHAKHA – you are either on the road or on the top of the world – VISHAKHA knows no mediocrity.

Of all the 27 Nakshatras – Vishakha is my favorite. I love the intensity – the depth – the madness that this nakshatra brings! Remember – a certain madness is needed to experience the beyond – the marvelous, the truth.

“IMPERFECTION IS BEAUTY, MADNESS IS GENIUS”
-MARILYN MONROE

A person needs a little madness – else he would never dare to be FREE!

This madness – comes from VISHAKHA – the intense star – the magical star – the genius star – I love you VISHAKHA – and I humbly prostrate before YOU – the messenger of the DIVINE – the GODLY NAKSHATRA – VISHAKHA.

ONE who kneels before the GODLY – can stand before anyone!

The very action of prostration – brings get miraculous power – because when you prostrate before GOD – you surrender and one who surrenders to GOD – is taken care of!

But who wants to listen?

And so the miseries continues…..

But those who have listened – those who have surrendered at the feet of the Master – the Guru – the Godly – those men and women will always emerge VICTORIOUS – because victory comes not by your intellect and logic – victory comes when your heart beats in the name of GOD – when you start chanting the holy name of GOD!

“What cannot be achieved through the performance of Vedic rituals can be easily achieved through the chanting of the Lord’s holy name.”
Srimad-Bhagavatam , Srila Prabhupada

Start chanting the name of the Lord. The more you chant with devotion and love – the more you will be able to overcome the monkey mind. Everything is science – but who wants to listen?

My sharing is for my few followers and readers – the rest can ignore. After all Truth is not for all – because to realize the truth – you need to have a certain depth of understanding – only then the truths can be given.

Remember to meditate every day – the sign of your spiritual progress is based on how less you entertain your thoughts and how more you spend time in silence – blissful silence.

“The degree of freedom from unwanted thoughts and the degree of concentration on a single thought are the measures to gauge spiritual progress.”- Ramana Maharshi

This concentrating on a single thought that the Bhagavan mentions is the name of the Lord – the holy mantra!

When you chant – concentrate on the holy mantra. Aum Namaha Shivaya.

Nobody can help you attain GOD except for your intense thirst for LORD!

One day it happened – the whole village was waiting for the arrival of Buddha. And after a while – Buddha arrived. The villagers thought that now the master will speak – but Buddha remained silent. They all wondered why the master is silent – for whom he is waiting?

And when someone asked – Buddha said “I am waiting for that little girl whom I met while I was on the way…and she said “I am also coming to hear your discourse. I will start my discourse when she arrives…”

That is how the heart of a true master is. Once promised – he remains true to his word. After a while the little girl arrived and she said “You kept your promise. I am so touched….please begin with your discourse – I can’t wait to hear your divine voice, your insightful words…..”

And Buddha started with HIS discourse – and such was HIS voice, such were HIS words that the whole village was engrossed for 60 minutes – they all were moved. After the discourse they all bowed before Buddha – expressed their gratitude and went back to their home. But the little girl remained seated. She said – “Master I cannot leave you – I want to be with you.”

Buddha said “ I am always with you. I am always with those who are thirsty for my love, my words, my sharing. You don’t have to come with me – I am with you.”

The girl still wasn’t ready. Then Buddha raised her – and said “ I am getting old and the road is long – you may not see my in physical form but I will be always around you. I came to this village for YOU. Your prayers, your longing made me come here – don’t worry, you will be my messenger, you will grow and you will spread the light of consciousness to the farthest shores of this planet.”

With these words – the benevolent master left – Buddha left – and the girl was in tears – but those tears were tears of joy – she realized that she has been blessed with the gift – the gift of consciousness!

That night Ananda asked Buddha “How do you decide your journeys?”

And Buddha said “ I never plan nor I ever decide my journeys – my legs simply start moving towards those who are thirsty for my words, my love, my sharings….”

And this is how the compassionate divine master is – neither your status, nor your wealth will move him towards you – if at all anything that will make him move towards you – then that is your LOVE, your unwavering FAITH – your INTENSITY.

VISHAKHA is the second name for INTENSITY – one who is blessed by VISHAKHA – always is intense in whatsoever he does – and evantually it is this intensity that leads him towards the beyond, the divine, the Godly!

It is only through intensity that one arrives. When all your desires, when all your passions become one flame, it is intensity.

Blessed are those who are born on Vishakha – for they have the intensity within – the seed exists – whether it will sprout and grow into a beautiful tree is based on what choices you make in life – how consciously you live your life. It is your choice – each moment the choice has to be faced; each moment you are on the crossroads.

The road you choose becomes instrumental in shaping your destiny – in shaping the seed within you!

And you will make the right choice only when you raise the level of your awareness, your consciousness!

So it all comes down to that one miraculous golden word – CONSCIOUSNESS. Some day you all should read my first published book “Gift of Consciousness”.

“When Cosmic Consciousness comes into the realm of matter-into each of the atoms that make up the planets and island universes, and the different forms of plant, animal, and human life…that Consciousness is called Christ Consciousness.” ~ Paramahansa Yogananda

The West calls it Christ Consciousness, the East calls it Krishna Consciousness, the Far East calls it Buddha Consciousness – the names change based on faiths – what remains constant is CONSCIOUSNESS – GOD CONSCIOUSNESS!

Vishakha being connected with Sri Guru – has the potential to help you raise the level of your consciousness – all you need is the willingness to dive within – the willingness – the thirst and the intensity to experience GOD.

Focus on raising the level of your consciousness. Meditate every day.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.
