Essence of Retrograde Mercury, Venus

Retrogression is beautiful – especially from a spiritual perspective – whenever a transiting planet retrogrades it creates a wonderful opportunity for you to sit back and introspect on the matter of the house that it rules. Always remember it is necessary that in life – you get the opportunity or you create an opportunity for yourself to PAUSE for a while.

In life, it is necessary that you PAUSE during certain phases of life so that you can introspect and take a better view of certain matters of your life which need or has much scope for improvement.

Retrogression of transiting planet and retrogression of the natal planet are two different subjects. Transiting planet retrogression signifies a short span of time during which the native gets a rare window of opportunity to sit back – pause and introspect on the matters of the house that the retrograde planet signifies. However when it comes to the natal retrograde planet – then the native is destined to have lifelong learning lessons about the matters that the retrograde planet signifies in his or her chart.

When Venus is retrograde in a person’s birth chart – then such a person will have to go through many lessons of love – he may go through several break-ups in relationships, he may be cheated in love affairs, or he may simply go through all kind of sexual pleasures just to later realize that what an ass he has made of himself by running behind women and sex. So eventually – if the person is an evolved soul then this retrograde Venus in his birth chart enables him to learn – to evolve through the many bad or strange experiences that he had during his whole life. So retrogression leads to self-learning – to self-growth – especially if the soul is an evolved soul. When you fail – you learn something new – and this learning leads to success in the next relationship. However, if the learning is not happening – then you continue to fail in relationships.

Venus is the GODDESS OF ART – all kinds of arts. Love Making is also an art! And so women and men having retrograde Venus – generally are talented when it comes to the art of love-making – Kamasutra. In India – one man took the courage to document the many sexual positions by practically observing the art of lovemaking – and his name was Vatsyayana. I am of the view – that Vatsyayana must have had a retrograde Venus – because he was so much interested in analyzing the art of sex – that he spent many years of life writing a detailed scripture on the art of lovemaking – titled – “KAMASUTRA”.

However Vatsyayana was not a common soul – he was also a spiritual person – and this is seen through his writings. The whole purpose of Vatsyayana in sharing and educating society about SEX and LOVE MAKING – was basically to bring refinement in sexuality – because when you discuss SEX openly – when you DON’T find anything wrong about SEX – only then do you truly evolve as a much matured human being.

VATSYAYANA scripted the ancient Indian Sanskrit text on sexuality, eroticism, and emotional fulfillment in life however his personal life was highly spiritual and he was a very pious person and this is clearly reflected in the last words that he writes in his famous Sutras – the Kama Sutras (Sex Sermons):

Vatsyayana writes:

“After reading and considering the works of Babhravya and other ancient authors, and thinking over the meaning of the rules given by them, this treatise was composed, according to the precepts of the Holy Writ, for the benefit of the world, by Vatsyayana, while leading the life of a religious student at Benares, and wholly engaged in the contemplation of the Deity. This work is not to be used merely as an instrument for satisfying our desires. A person acquainted with the true principles of this science, who preserves his Dharma (virtue or religious merit), his Artha (worldly wealth) and his Kama (pleasure or sensual gratification), and who has regard for the customs of the people, is sure to obtain the mastery over his senses. In short, an intelligent and knowing person attending to Dharma and Artha and also to the Kama, without becoming the slave of his passions, will obtain success in everything that he may do.” – Vatsyayana

What a great human being – Vatsyayana was! Only a spiritual being can relate to these deep insightful words of – Vatsyayana!

Men and women having RETROGRADE VENUS have a far greater understanding of SEX and only that man and only that woman who can understand his or her SEX and SEXUALITY – can truly progress on the spiritual path. And nobody is going to tell you this – because not everybody is aware of the truth and those who are – may not dare to share. But I am telling you – that do not fear your sexuality – because unless you overcome your sexuality – you cannot transcend – you cannot truly become free of sexual desires. Remember – human life primarily revolves around two aspects – EGO and SEX. And overcoming these two aspects is the greatest challenge for a spiritual seeker – and a true spiritual seeker does not run away from EGO and SEX – instead, he tries to work on them by facing them and finishing them by realizing their futility. It is often said – that Prostitutes are bad – because day and night they do sex. Once it happened – a great King welcomed Swami Vivekananda. And this is a very old story – a story before Swami Vivekananda traveled to the US and became famous. So during those days – Swami Vivekananda was still evolving – he was very young but the King had heard about him and so he invited Swami Vivekananda to his court. And you know – how the Kings treat their guests – they treat them with beautiful dancers, beautiful prostitutes – and so when Swami Vivekananda came to his Palace – the King presented the most beautiful dancers, and beautiful prostitutes before him. The King completely forgot that to receive a sannyasin with the singing of prostitutes and dancing of prostitutes doesn’t suit. But he couldn’t know anything else. He always knew that when you have to receive somebody, drinking, and dancing have to be done.

And Vivekananda was still immature; he was not a perfect sannyasin yet. Had he been a perfect sannyasin, then there was indifference — no problem — but he was not indifferent yet. He has not gone that deep into Patanjali even. He was a young man and a very suppressive one who was suppressing his sex and everything. When he saw the prostitutes, he simply locked his room and would not come out of it.

The Maharaja came and he asked his forgiveness. He said, ‘We don’t know. We have never received any sannyasin. We always receive kings, so we know the ways. So we are sorry, but now it will be too much insulting because this is the greatest prostitute in the country — and very costly. And we have paid, and to say her to move and go will be insulting to her, and if you don’t come she will feel very much hurt. So come out.”

But Vivekananda was afraid to come out; that’s why I say he was still immature, still not a seasoned sannyasin. Still, indifference is not there — a condemnation: “A prostitute?” — he was very angry, and he said, “No” Then the prostitute started singing without him, and she sang a song of a saint. The song is very beautiful. The song says that “I know that I am not worthy of you, but you could have been a little more compassionate. I am dirt on the road; that I know. But you need not be so antagonistic to me. I am nobody — ignorant, a sinner. But you are a saint — why are you afraid of me?”

It is said Vivekananda heard from his room. The prostitute was weeping and singing, and he felt — he felt the whole situation of what he is doing. It is immature and childish. Why he is afraid? Fear exists only if you are attracted. You will be afraid of women if you are attracted to women. If you are not attracted, the fear disappears. What is fear? An indifference comes without any antagonism.

He opened the door: he couldn’t contain himself, he was defeated by the prostitute. The prostitute became victorious; he had to come out. He came and he sat, and he wrote in his diary that “A new revelation has been given to me by the divine. I was afraid… must be some lust within me. That’s why I was afraid. But the woman defeated me completely, and I have never seen such a pure soul. The tears were so innocent and the singing and the dancing were so holy that I would have missed them. And sitting near her, for the first time I became aware that it is not a question who is there outside; it is a question of what is.”

That night he wrote in his diary ‘Now I can even sleep with that woman in the bed and there will be no fear.” He transcended. That prostitute helped him to transcend. This is a miracle. Ramakrishna couldn’t help and a prostitute helped him. So nobody knows where the help will come from. Nobody knows what is evil and what is good. Who can decide? Mind is impotent and helpless. So don’t take any attitude: that is the meaning of being indifferent.

That prostitute was a woman with a pure heart. Always remember – never be quick to judge – you never know what lies beneath. Swami Vivekanand initially condemned the prostitute – but when she started singing – and he heard the words of her song – his heart melted – he came running to her – he must have touched her feet – he was a man of great stature – only a man of his stature can understand the heart of such a woman – that not only he is touched but he also sits down and writes in his diary – “A new revelation has been given to me by the divine.

How deep is this my fellows – how deep – but only an evolved soul can understand the depth of it – others cannot.

The prostitute must have had a retrograde Venus – she may be an expert in the art of lovemaking – that’s what prostitutes are known for – and in fact, a prostitute is better than – the other woman. Because the other woman steals your husband – a prostitute has absolutely no interest in stealing your husband – therefore it is said that prostitutes have helped many married couples from falling apart!

Retrograde Planet, therefore, has the ability to bring a certain mastery in the matters that it rules however since much energy is spent in attaining mastery – the other dimensions of life suffer or take a backseat. For example – a retrograde Venus may compel you to spend most of your years in the matters of love, relationships, and the matters that Venus rules in your birth chart.

When Mercury is retrograde in a person’s birth chart – then such a person is always going through a lot of brain-storming – a lot of analysis which in turn provides him with a certain revelation or invention. Steve Jobs is one fine example of Retrograde Mercury – however, the buck doesn’t stop here. Although the retrogression of Mercury provides them the time and space to sit back, observe and analyze still it also gives them certain side effects such as making a wrong decision, choosing the wrong people, and getting cheated. In 1985 – Steve Jobs was forced to resign from Apple. He was the founder of Apple – and yet he had to leave Apple. However in 1997 – after 12 years of break – Steve returned to Apple with the new concept of the i-phone! This is the basic trend of Mercury Retrograde – that what was left unfinished – needs to be finished and for that one has to return and deliver. Since it is Mercury – the matter is more related to intellectual property. Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; symbols, names, and images used in commerce. By returning to Apple – Steve Jobs finished his unfinished karmic dues of delivering the greatest intellectual property to the human world – the making of the iPhone! He died in 2011 – but in the last 14 years that he spent working for Apple – he was able to complete most of his unfinished business – the Retrograde Mercury in his chart had delivered what was promised and what needed to be completed. It is said that when Steve Jobs died – the only book that he had with him was the book written by Paramhansa Yogananda – “Autobiography of a Yogi”. Probably during the last days of his life – he was reading this book and who knows – that this book may lead him to a new level of consciousness – a new level of rebirth in which the Mercury is no more retrograde because the work has been accomplished – the awareness has risen – the consciousness has expanded! God bless His soul.

So retrograde Mercury is not bad – because it provides a window of opportunity to sit back, and spend more time on a certain subject – it gives great potential to analyze deeply and find out that which others have been missing to find. However for retrograde mercury to fructify positively – the whole chart needs to have a certain quality to it. In a cheap fellows birth chart – a fellow who comments to hurt others – in such a person’s chart – this kind of development will prove futile. And therefore it is only when the person is an evolved soul or an evolving soul – that this Retrograde Mercury can show great results and lead one to some great inventions, discoveries as well as great artistic talents. Madonna and Lady Gaga also have Retrograde Mercury. Interestingly those who had Retrograde Mercury in their birth chart – these fellows enjoy the time when transiting Mercury goes retrograde! Simply because these fellows are born with the qualities of doing deep analysis – that the transit Mercury Retrograde period compliments their in-born retrograde mercury qualities. Transiting Retrograde Mercury proves challenging for those who do not have retrograde mercury in their birth charts – they are not used to pausing and analyzing – they like to analyze while moving ahead but transiting Mercury slows down the pace of their work-life and compels them to pause and look back.

People often relate reincarnations with retrograde – but that is a myth. Retrograde has absolutely nothing to do with reincarnation. Retrograde simply is a state of quality (Guna) that a native is born with. Many people also associate the myth – that a retrograde planet gives birth to the house behind it – meaning if Retrograde Mercury is in the 7th house – it will give results of the 6th house – this is also a farce – a myth. Nothing sort of this happens in real life – Retrograde Mercury means a state of the Brain that simply likes to pause (or is compelled to pause) and analyze. So when you pause and spend a lot of energy on analyzing – delays happen – people say that ‘you take a lot of time’ to conclude. But that’s how it is. To some – you may also appear as a black sheep or an odd figure – but then that is bound to happen because in the count of ten – only two will have retrograde mercury – and the minority always stands out – and so does the fellows having Retrograde Mercury.

However – I again repeat that the horoscope needs to have a certain quality to it – else Retrograde Mercury is like a SHARP EDGE SWORD – if it is put to use for a good purpose – it can lead to great intellectual output however if it is put to bad purpose – then cheaters, frauds and even black magicians are born with this kind of Retrograde Mercury in a troubled horoscope. However, in a good quality horoscope – the result of Retrograde Mercury is always good.

Always remember – and I say this specifically to my close followers – that in every man – GOOD and EVIL exist. GOD and DEVIL – both exist in you – depending on your KARMA – you either boost the GOD within you or the DEVIL within you – and retrograde Mercury will work based on which side you choose – the GOOD or the DEVIL. For example – on this forum, many people claim that they are students of astrology but look at their comments – their comments show what they are – in the true sense. And so always remember – a single planet is not bad or good – what makes him bad or good is the environment in which the planet is placed – if a good seed is placed in a bad garden – it will turn out bad. And if a bad seed is placed in a good garden – it will turn out good. So the environment matters – the holistic quality of the birth chart is what matters. It happened once – that there was a great artist – he must be like me – he was in search of a beautiful person. He want to paint a portrait of an innocent beautiful person and he searched and he searched and finally, he came across a beautiful young boy – and he looked so innocent – so candid – so energetic and so full of life that the young artist decided to paint his portrait. Millions of copies of the portrait were made and it sold far and wide. People felt great gratitude, for just being able to hang the picture on their walls.

After a gap of twenty years, when the artist had grown old, he decided to paint another portrait. This time – he wanted to paint a portrait of the worst cruel person on this planet. Because after living through many experiences of life – he realized that along with GOOD – DEVIL also exists in human beings. And so he started searching for a man who is not a man but a DEVIL. Someone who would go to gambling dens, bars, and to madhouses. This subject had to be full of hell’s fire; his face had to show all that is evil, ugly, and sadistic.
After a long search, the artist finally met a prisoner in a jail. The man had committed seven murders and had been sentenced to be hanged in a few days. Hell was evident in the man’s eyes; they spouted hate. His face was the ugliest one could hope to find. The artist began to paint him.
When he had completed the portrait he brought out his earlier picture and set it by the side of the new painting for contrast. It was difficult to assess which was better from an artistic point of view; both were marvelous. He stood, staring at both of them. And then he heard a sob. He turned and saw the chained prisoner, crying. The artist was bewildered. He asked, “My friend, why are you crying? Do these pictures disturb you?”
The prisoner said, “I have been trying to hide something from you all this time, but today I am lost. You obviously do not know that the first picture is also of me. Both portraits are of me. I am the same shepherd you met twenty years ago in the hills. I cry for my downfall in the last twenty years. I have fallen from heaven to hell, from God to Satan.”

This is how the story of human beings is. That a good man – the most innocent joyful shepherd eventually became a murderer and not just one murder but 7 murders. What I am trying to help you all understand is that – it all depends on what you are from within. And your birth chart is simply a MIRROR of what you are from within. Depending on whether your birth chart depicts GODLINESS or DEVILISHNESS – the retrograde Mercury will provide results.

Enough for now – in my next video – I will talk more – about Retrograde Jupiter and Retrograde Saturn.

Love to you all – and remember to meditate every day – no matter how much is your bank balance – if you are not spending time turning inwards – if you are not spending time in knowing yourself – then you are no less than an animal – a two-leg animal who just enjoys in having food, sex, and power.

Ponder on my words – if you can relate with me – you are my friend and if you cannot – then also you do not become my enemy – but your own worst enemy. Any person who refrains from focusing within – is an enemy of himself.

Meditate.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Retrograde Jupiter in 1st House

The very nature of retrogression is to go against the natural flow of life. What is life? Life is energy. Energy is pure however you put this energy to use is totally based on your nature. Similarly how energy is put to use is based on the nature of the planet. Mars will use this energy to enjoy sex or to fight for rights. Saturn will use this energy to provide justice. Mercury will use this energy to communicate. Venus will this energy in pursuing work of arts and romance. Sun will use this energy to fulfill ambitions and to raise their status in society. Moon will use this energy for vivid imagination. Rahu will use this energy towards dragging you into many illusions and obsessions. Ketu will use this energy to help you turn inwards!

So you see – every planet or entity utilizes this universal energy based on its NATURE – SWABHAV.

So far so good. However what if the planet itself is not in good mood? What if the planet is not in its normal course of motion? What if the planet is stuck or slowed down? Then it is obvious that NOW such a planet is impotent in utilizing the energy in the way it was supposed to. For example – let’s say Mars is in retrograde motion – then such a retrograde Mars will be totally confused and thus cannot channel the energy towards fighting or towards having proper sexual intercourse. It is like a warrior under house arrest – he can’t move – he has to utilize his energy in a limited scope – and so you see even though he is a warrior – he feels frustrated and dejected. Now the next question that arises is whether the warrior is good or bad. The answer is based on the quality of Mars – its placement in the chart. If Mars is debilitated and retrograde then the situation is worst however if Mars is exalted and retrograde then the situation is better – at least the warrior i.e. Mars is a man of good quality – even though his movement has slowed down – he will not commit any serious mistake that a debilitated retrograde Mars may!

So in simple words – Retrograde Planet is unable to utilize the energy to its full potential. For example – a car can run at a rate of 100km per hour but now existence has put a speed limit of 50km per hour! So now it is obvious that the car will reach late – and so delays and more delays is a very common trait of retrograde planets. If you are supposed to get a promotion at the age of 32 – then you will end up getting a promotion at the age of 36. And so frustration and depression due to delays is something that happens when you have more than one retrograde planet in your birth chart.

Before I share the results of retrograde Jupiter in 12 houses it is necessary to remember that results is one thing and the message is another. The result is something that you cannot change – it is predestined. However, the message that a retrograde planet tries to convey to you is something very precious – because if you can understand the message of the retrograde planet then you can truly start working on yourself and rectify the shortcomings and thereby raise the quality of this life and life hereafter.

I will now start sharing the results of retrograde planets in 12 houses. The first planet that I would start with is – Retrograde Jupiter in 12 houses.

Before I begin – please note that Retrograde Jupiter results may vary based on the sign he occupies. If the sign is Aries, Scorpio, Leo, Pisces, Sagittarius, Cancer, or Aquarius then Retrograde Jupiter will be more positive. However, if Retrograde Jupiter is in Capricorn, Gemini, Virgo, Taurus, or Libra then Retrograde Jupiter will be impotent in providing positive results.

Retrograde Jupiter in 1st house – Health issues or personality disorder is a common observation especially when Retrograde Jupiter is placed in a negative sign – such as Gemini, Virgo, Libra, or Taurus. The character of such a person is always under the scanner – it does not imply that the character of the native is bad but it is just that he or she is constantly judged and criticized by others. Vitality is essential – however when Retrograde Jupiter is placed in the first house – then the vitality is low and so such a person may catch up with diseases or his health may suffer. One good thing that this Retrograde Jupiter does is that it helps the person in keeping his weight under control. So such a native generally is not overweight or doesn’t face issues such as obesity. Retrograde Jupiter in Ascendant gives good height to the native but in certain cases – depending on the Nakshatra of Retrograde Jupiter – the height is so much that the native looks an odd figure in public – because he or she is just so tall!

If Sun is afflicted in the birth chart then such a Retrograde Jupiter is not good when it comes to relations with the father. Either the father is absent or relations with the father are not always on good terms – in short happiness from the father is absent in life. Retrograde Jupiter is in itself a strong indicator of PITRU DOSHA meaning Ancestor curse – since the native has not behaved properly – in a respectful manner with seniors in the family. Retrograde Jupiter, therefore, is also a signifier that the native may face problems while dealing with his or her seniors at the workplace.

Remedy – Worshipping SURYA DEV – Lord Sun. There are many SUN TEMPLES in India and abroad – recently scientists found 8000 years old Sun Temple in Egypt. So find a Sun Temple and worship Lord Sun. Do Surya Namaskar by reciting the following 12 Surya Mantras:

Om Mitraaya Namaha (Praise be to the One who is the friend of all)

Om Ravaye Namaha (Praise be to the One who shines brightly and is filled with radiance)

Om Suryaaya Namaha (Praise be to the One who eliminates darkness and brings in light)

Om Bhaanave Namaha (Praise be to the One who is filled with brilliance and luster)

Om Khagaya Namaha (Praise be to the One who traverses the entire sky and is all-pervasive)

Om Pooshne Namaha (Praise be to the One who provides nourishment and fulfills desires)

Om Hiranyagarbhaaya Namaha (Praise be to the One with a golden-hued lustre)

Om Mareechaye Namaha (Praise be to the One who shines with the light of innumerable rays)

Om Adityaaya Namaha (Praise be to the One who is the son of the divine cosmic mother, Aditi)

Om Savitre Namaha (Praise be to the One who gives life)

Om Aarkaaya Namaha (Praise be to the One who is worthy of all glory)

Om Bhaskaraaya Namaha (Praise be to the One who is wise and illuminates the heavenly world)

Face towards the East direction and recite these 12 Surya Mantras repetitively for 20 minutes. If possible do these when Sun is rising.

Retrograde Jupiter in the first house moreover brings more attraction towards the unseen world – the cosmic world. Such a native is born with other positive aspects then inclination towards spirituality is very strong. If the horoscope reflects higher awareness then the native may also encounter certain spiritual experiences as well as may also get Darshan of enlightened masters. However, since Jupiter is in Retrograde – the native becomes a victim of self-doubt. Remember – Doubt is Death.

Self-doubt means – a lack of confidence in oneself and one’s abilities.

“SELF-DOUBT
is the anchor that keeps our ships
FROM SAILING”

The greatest obstacle to your success is SELF DOUBT. Always remember – Never let self-doubt hold you captive. Self-doubt leads to low confidence and when your confidence is low – you tend to fail in achieving success. Self-doubt is very destructive by nature – and Retrograde Jupiter in the first house does bring this tendency of self-doubt. And when you are doubting yourself – it is natural that you will start doubting others as well! And that is exactly what happened with one noble King. There was one noble King – he was a good man but he was also a very doubtful man. It happened so – that while going around his capital – every night he would encounter a young man who always remained underneath a tree, sitting silently. Every night the king passed around the city in disguise to see whether everything was right or not. He always found that young man sitting like a statue, without any movement.

Finally, he could not contain his curiosity. He stopped his horse and he said, “Young man, forgive me for disturbing your meditation.”

The young man opened his eyes and he said, “There is no need for any apology because I am not meditating, I am meditation — nobody can disturb it. But whatever your curiosity is, please fulfill it.”

The king said, “I would love you to come to my palace. I will take care of you. There is no need to sit under this tree. Seeing you so silently, like the ancient story of Buddha, I have fallen in love with your silence, your gestures, your utter undisturbance. I invite you to come with me to my palace. I am the king.”

This is how the barbarous mind functions. The king asks the young man to come to his palace — inviting him — but deep down his unconscious wants him not to accept his invitation because that will mean he is still desirous of luxuries and palaces.

But that young man simply stood up, and he said, “I am coming.”

Immediately the whole scene changed. The King’s mind was haunted by DOUBT. The mind of the king was thinking, “What have I done? This man is still interested in the luxuries of a palace, being the guest of a king. This is not a great saint.” This is the old idea of the saint, that he should be as uncomfortable as possible. Discomfort is religion. Sick, hungry, torturing oneself in thousands of ways… and then you become a great saint. This fellow has suddenly fallen from his sainthood, in the mind of the king. But now it was too late. He could not take his word back; it would be too ungentlemanly.

But the young man was watching everything. He didn’t say anything. The king provided for him in the best part of the palace, with servants, and young girls to look after him — and he accepted everything. With each acceptance he was falling down in the scale of saintliness: what kind of saint was he? He accepted a beautiful king-size bed. He accepted all the delicacies of the palace.

The doubtful king said, “My God. What kind of a stupid person am I? This man has deceived me. It seems like he tricked me. Just sitting there every night, he knew I passed at that time, sitting silently like a buddha, he knew that I would be caught — and he caught me. And now it is very difficult either to swallow him or to spit him out. He is inside the palace.”

But how long can you carry such a state of mind?

After six months, one day early in the morning when they were taking a walk together in the gardens, the king said to him, “One question has been continuously harassing me and I want to get rid of it. Because of it, for six months I have not slept well.”

The young man said, “You can ask any question.”

The king said, “It hurts me to ask, but I want to know what the difference is between me and you. You live in the palace, you enjoy all the luxuries… what is the difference between me and you?”

The young man said, “I knew that this question was going to arise one day. In fact, it arose the same moment I stood up to follow you. You are not a very courageous man. You should have asked immediately. Why waste six months, and for six months unnecessarily disturbing your sleep. I can answer your question but not here. You have to come with me outside the boundary of your kingdom.”

It was not far away. Just a few miles away was the river, the boundary of his kingdom.

The king said, “What is the need to go there? You can answer me here.”

He said, “No. There is a need.”

Both went past the river. Standing on the other shore, the young man said, “My answer is that I am going ahead. Are you coming with me?”

He said, “How can I come with you? I have a palace, I have a kingdom, I have my wife, my children… I have thousands of worries and problems to solve. How can I come with you?”

The young man said, “Do you see the difference? I am going. I don’t have any palace, I don’t have any wife, I don’t have any problems. I was as happy under my tree as I have been happy in your palace — not a bit more or a bit less. My awareness is the same whether I am in a palace or in a forest.”

The king felt very sad at his ugly mind, that he thought such an ugly thing. He touched his feet and he said, “Forgive me even to think this. In my own eyes, I have fallen.”

The young man said, “No. Don’t do it. Seeing your tears and you touching my feet I have no difficulty, I can come back, but you will still start thinking, `My God. Has he deceived me again?’ I have no difficulty but so as not to be uncompassionate towards you, I will not come. Just let me go. The whole world is there and I don’t need much, just a tree to sit underneath. It does not matter to me at all.”

This is how DOUBT destroys all the good fate that was to come your way. Retrograde Jupiter should therefore focus on dropping all the doubts that haunt your mind – and also stop being too strict with yourself – you can have some fun – lighter moments are necessary to maintain balance in life. Yesterday – an American woman had come for a consultation – she is a Yoga Practitioner – she also meditates and chants every day. I liked her dedication to meditation and chanting but then she said “In the evening I watch some movies or some programs on television – because I like to watch movies and shows. But I feel guilty – is it ok to watch television shows or movies when you are on the spiritual path?”

Doubt – Self-doubt. I said to her “ There is absolutely nothing wrong as far as you watching good shows and movies that don’t corrupt your mind. It is always good to watch television serials since many a time you get to know the latest trends of society since certain challenges and present conditions of the society are reflected through ongoing television serials. Whenever you watch a movie or television serial – always watch as if you are just a witness – don’t relate yourself or your life story with whatever you watch on the television. If you are able to do this – then you can absolutely watch television and have some lighter fun entertaining moments – since that brings down your stress and the seriousness within you also fades away. Always remember – Don’t be too wise. Always remember to stop; don’t go to the extreme. A little foolishness and a little wisdom is good, and the right combination makes you a buddha – a little foolishness and a little wisdom. Don’t be just wise or else you will be a long face; don’t be just a fool or else you will become suicidal.”

And that is exactly what I would like to tell all those beautiful souls who have Retrograde Jupiter in the first house – that don’t be too serious and don’t be just a fool – find balance in life – a little foolishness and a little wisdom is the right combination that can make you a Buddha!

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Ardra Nakshatra Insights

It cannot be a coincidence that just now – the auspicious month of Shravan has begun and I am sharing before you – the many dimensions of this wonderful sharp and highly intellectual Nakshatra – the Nakshatra of Ardra. Tears are beautiful. Once when I was traveling through the Sahayadri mountains – I met a great Yogi and he said “When your teardrops are cold – you are crying out of joy and when your teardrops are warm – you are crying out of pain.” And this is so true – so true! Ardra means wet – this wetness is caused by tears. And when is it that tears start flowing through your eyes? Only when you cannot express your joy or when you cannot express your pain only then do tears flow through your eyes. Ardra is therefore a Nakshatra that takes you through a lot of melodrama in which you may cry out of joy as well as you may often cry out of pain – but life is never boring when it comes to Ardra!

A woman born on Ardra is like a wild storm – you cannot dominate her. In fact, women born on Ardra have been at the forefront of the woman empowerment movement. If you are planning to marry a woman born on Ardra – then you should first understand that she is going to require her space, her freedom, and her right to make a good career for herself, basically, Ardra-born female – of course with a good supporting chart is highly ambitious and career-oriented. Or even if they don’t work – still even as a housewife – they ensure that they are always at the forefront when it comes to making major family decisions.

And what to say about a man born on Ardra – he is highly intellectual, excellent in communication skills, and loves to live an adventurous life. Ardra native – men or women – like to have a constant change or some kind of stimulation in their work-life as well as love life.

Always remember – Relationship begins with communication. The more you chat with a person – the more you come closer to that person. And so it is said that a relationship begins over a cup of coffee. Many a time – through the course of chatting and talking – you feel that the person is perfect for you – but then later you realize that your observation was wrong. Ardra natives either get fooled in a relationship or they fool their partner in a relationship – depending on the placements of the chart – either you become a victim in a relationship or your partner becomes a victim in the relationship.

Ardra is full of spice – masala. This Nakshatra brings a lot of restlessness – the native cannot stay at one place for long – he or she continues to move on. And so it is somewhat dicy when it comes to dating a man or woman born on Ardra Nakshatra.

Being Polished is one significant trait of Ardra Nakshatra. The person himself likes to live in a polished manner as well as expects that his or her partner also lives a polished life. Crudeness and shabbiness are what these people dislike. They are very particular when it comes to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. Travelling is what comes naturally to a man or woman born in Ardra. Constant movement is necessary when one is born in Ardra. To a man or woman born with Moon in Ardra – LIFE is interesting as long as they keep moving, traveling, and experiencing new places, new traditions, new cultures, and new people!

PEOPLE – yes, these native want more people around them. And that makes them a social animal. They like to have many friends and even try their level best to stay ‘connected’ with all their family members!

Probably very few may remember who is your Uncle’s cousin’s cousin’s sister – but a Moon in ARDRA will remember – they have an excellent memory and moreover because they are fond of people – they always remember every face they meet – they have this special gift of remembering everybody – those who come in their life and also those who take an exit from their life – you can say that MOON in ARDRA native is indeed a walking directory of contacts and connections! When it is ARDRA MOON native – then you know that he or she is never going to forget your BIRTHDAY!

ARDRA RAHU person is very intense by nature. If he finds a woman without whom he cannot imagine his life – then gives up the one-night stands!

ARDRA native are extremely INTENSE in their love relationships and also in the act of sex.

At times this intensity makes them POSESSIVE by nature and the moment possessiveness takes over – Love ceases to exist! Moon in ARDRA man or woman is highly SEXUAL by nature. To them – LOVE is incomplete without SEX – without expectations being met – without having a proper deal – deal that says “IF I LOVE YOU” – then you also should LOVE ME!

In reality LOVE is not a deal – but people expect that if “I LOVE YOU” – then you also should LOVE ME!

People talk a lot about LOVE – couples compose many poems when they fall in LOVE – but ask – just ask – if one of the partners is UNABLE To provide sexual satisfaction – is unable to provide comfort – then will the other partner stay for long?

This is what the worldly LOVE is – at the lowest rung! Truth is HARD and I don’t care whether it disturbs you because the MIND never wants to know the TRUTH – though it always says “ I want to know the TRUTH”! That is how the nature of the MIND is – CUNNING.

To hear the TRUTH – you first have to be TRUTHFUL to your SELF. To hear the TRUTH – you first have to remain OPEN to CHANGE. And to hear the TRUTH – you first have to learn to ACCEPT your MISTAKE.

ARDRA person finds it very difficult to ACCEPT his or her MISTAKE!

And so they keep fighting, arguing with others – trying to show them how the whole world is wrong and they are right!

The best part that these natives play is the BLAME GAME! They just love to put BLAME on others and that is how they go on missing the opportunity to learn, evolve and mature in life.

Less evolved souls BLAME others – for them putting blame on others is the easiest escape route.

Evolved souls never BLAME others – they accept their mistake – and because they ACCEPT their mistake – they LEARN from their mistakes and that is how every phase of life they keep growing – because you all should understand that REAL GROWTH is not about how much money you earn or how many cars you drive – REAL GROWTH is simply based on how much you as a person has evolved – how much awareness you have brought to your being – how much you have succeeded in EXPANDING your CONSCIOUSNESS! ARDRA native earns good money and good status in society but FAILS MISERABLY in experiencing the REAL GROWTH – the growth within. Like all other RAHU NAKSHATRAs – ARDRA NAKSHATRA brings a great deal of INTELLECTUALISM to the native. These men and women are very much in their HEADS – highly LOGICAL. Their BRAIN commands their HEART – and that indeed becomes the root of all their problems and miseries!

Always remember – and I share this specifically for my close followers – that INTELLECTUALISM is the reason of MISERIES and so don’t be INTELLECTUAL – instead BE INTELLIGENT. Once it happened – three men were brought before the JUDGE. And the first man said “ It is not my fault – I was walking and this guy….”

The Judge said “ Many times you have been in the court and I don’t want to waste time. You are fined 400 dollars. NEXT CASE PLEASE.”

The Next case was of the second man – looking at him the JUDGE said “ YOU – again! 800 dollars fine. NEXT CASE PLEASE.”

The next case was of the third man and he quickly stood up and said “ I am guilty of stealing food but my children were starving to death. I had no other option although I accept my mistake.”

The Judge said “ I like your honesty and because of it – I am giving you a break. Give this man 100 Dollars from police fund. Case dismissed. NEXT CASE”

The NEXT case was of a criminal – but look what he says – he stands up and says to the Judge “ Sir, I am not going to lie to you – my children were also starving and so I had loot the BANK.”

You see – this is how the MIND plays the GAME – the criminal quickly understands that by SHOWING OFF HOW HONEST HE IS – he too can slip out of the court. However the third man was HONEST but this MAN was ACTING of being HONEST – to feed your starving kids – why you would LOOT a whole BANK! But the criminal was just trying to ACT and gain some sympathy – and that is EXACTLY how the MIND is – and with RAHU in ARDRA – it just becomes more CUNNING – more TREACHEROUS.

Moon in ARDRA – can go either way: A total FAKE, HYPOCRITE or a very INTENSE REALISTIC person – depends on the placement of RAHU and the aspects it makes with other planets in the chart.

However, the MOON ARDRA native misses realizing the true purpose of human life. They are so much focused on the OUTSIDE (RAHUISH TRAIT) that the INSIDE is forgotten – ignored.

Because of being EXTROVERT and always FOCUSED on the OUTSIDE – they earn money in abundance – gain high status in society and yet they feel lost – totally lost. These natives therefore always believe or rather feel that their problem is caused by someone else – and that makes them more miserable than they already are!

These natives therefore feel that they are the ‘victims’ when in reality the truth is that they remain IGNORANT – INSENSITIVE – and in their ILLUSIONS. These natives therefore are always found in the TIGHT GRIP OF THEIR MIND!

ARDRA Mother-in-law, or Daughter-in-Law – they are so much in the grip of their mind – that the poor husband has to face the daily quarrels between his wife and his mother! And imagine – if the husband is also RAHU ARDRA – then the whole house becomes a battlefield or rather a Jungle filled with ‘WILD ANIMALS’!

It is funny that people give long lectures on ‘BEING HUMAN’ but when they become angry – it is the ANIMAL WITHIN them that comes out and NOT the HUMAN BEING!

ARDRA NAKSHATRA rules the EYES. RAHU in ARDRA virtually makes the native – a BLIND MAN who thinks that he is carrying a LAMP in his hand…..

Reminds me of a story. There was a blind man – and he had come to meet his old friend – a wise man.

The wise man said to the Blind man – “It is getting dark and so I would like you to carry this lamp with you so that you reach your home safely.”

The Blind man laughed and said “I am a blind man – what difference it makes if there is a lamp with me or not – to me day or night is same – remember: I cannot see.”

The wise man said “ You cannot see but when you carry this lamp – other people will be able to see you and they will NOT bump into you in the dark. So take the lamp.”

The Blind man accepted the lamp and set on his way back home. He must have hardly taken a few hundred steps when a someone bumped into him. The blind man was surprised – and he started laughing – he said to himself “ Seems the logic of my wise friend was wrong – and I was right.”

The blind man asked the man who bumped into him “ Brother, can’t you see there is a lamp in my hand? Are you also blind?”

The man said “ I am not blind, but the lamp in your hands has gone out.”

This is the state – not only of ARDRA RAHU natives but the majority of human population! We think that we are holding a LAMP (AWARENESS) but the LAMP has extinguished long back and we are walking in the dark – thinking that we are AWARE – imagining that we are INTELLIGENT!

And that is how everybody is bumping into someone – because there is absolutely NO AWARENESS – NO CONSCIOUSNESS – the lamp is there but it is a dead lamp – with NO LIGHT!

It seems that though we have EYES – we remain BLIND – utterly BLIND. RAHU brings more IGNORANCE and ILLUSIONS and so the native ASSUMES that he/she is carrying a LAMP – but in reality, the LAMP has lit out and there is total darkness and it is this darkness that brings many miseries to their life – professionally they do well but on the personal front – they fail in relationships – they fail in experiencing the peace, the bliss, the joy within.

EYES problem often occurs since ARDRA rules EYES and MOON in ARDRA either impacts the EYES negatively or the native is obsessed with her beautiful eyes! MOON in ARDRA indeed gives a mesmerizing look to the eyes – passion, and intensity are seen through the EYES of these natives.

ARDRA MOON natives are in general SHIVA devotees. The RUDRA within them is pulled towards the MAHA RUDRA – Lord SHIVA – naturally.

ARDRA RAHU always is BUSY and loves to make others also BUSY! And there is an old saying that one who becomes BUSY – always earns good money! Because more work, more connections means more money!

It is GOOD to remain BUSY provided you are adding value to others life or your life! ARDRA MOON native is the perfect choice for getting your job done. Because he is a busy man. It is said that if you want to get something done then give it to a busy man. It is good to remain busy – but RAHU never STOPS! RAHU makes these natives OBSESSED of remaining busy. By chance if they lose their job or business goes down – then these fellows feel restless and many also commit suicide or take to drugs or alcohol because they are too focused on the outside – and the outside can never be controlled – you can never control the outside situations – the more you try to control situations, control people – the more you will feel frustrated.

Moon in Ardra connects you with certain pain. Certain suffering. A certain tragedy. And then the eyes become wet. That’s Ardra. And if you ask me – then this is the most purifying nakshatra of all nakshatras. Yes – it is ruled by RAHU. Yes – it is the most feared nakshatra. Yes – the world has defamed it – and yet I stand to my word – Ardra is indeed the most purifying nakshatra of all nakshatras!

A certain sorrow is needed. A certain ‘wake-up’ call is needed – only then will you wake up – only then you will become aware! And there is nothing as life-changing as the arrival of awareness!

This pain that comes through Ardra nakshatra – is not to make you sad, remember. That’s where people go on missing. This pain is just to make you more alert–because people become alert only when the arrow goes deep into their heart and wounds them.

The journey of the soul is through the track of all 27 nakshatras! So this life – you are born on Ardra’s track – the next life it is going to be Punarvasu! How? Why? Is this possible?

Everything is possible. If the soul maintains a progressive outlook – it is but obvious that he is going to progress – move ahead to the next nakshatra in line. If the soul is going to live this life in utter ignorance – in the next life he remains on the same station of Ardra – he has missed the ‘train’ – due to his or her own ignorance!

So this life is just a small part of the many lives to come – always remember this-this is of significance. Your nakshatra, your moon zodiac, your sun zodiac, your ascendant – these all are simply a representation of your ‘growth’ to date.

What is growth? What is real growth?

Bank balance, sexual pleasures, properties, cars? In the pursuit of achieving the material ‘growth’, the real thing, the real growth is missed. It is simply missed.

Growth has to be something that is going to last forever! What you are running after – is not the real growth – it is simply a demand for your unending desires – the desire of having lots of SEX, the desire of having lots of MONEY, the desire to have lots of FAME – these all are desires that would never end – you may sleep with many beautiful women and yet your desire for having more and more sex – will never end – because the nature of the desires is such that they simply never stop – they want more and more and more and this is RAHU. Greed. Lust. Ignorance. This ignorance is caused by RAHU – and the nakshatra it presides over – Ardra – Swati – Satabhisha.

What is Laxmi? People have weird ideas about Laxmi. And the most claimed one is that Laxmi means money. You are wrong. But to natives of Ardra – Swati – Satabhisha – the definition of Laxmi is in plain words – MONEY.

Laxmi means peace. And let me tell you – MONEY never brings peace! Brothers have chopped each other – to get properties and money – husband has caused pain to wife – just for this money – people cut each other’s throats just for this money – and you say money is Laxmi?

Money is not Laxmi. Peace is Laxmi. And peace blossoms only in that house – whose family members are not greedy, not lustful, not ignorant. Then the money that they earn – brings peace. And it is through this peace – that happiness and prosperity is experienced!

Ramakrishna Paramhansa – one of the greatest Yogi – would never keep any money with him. Money would make him very restless. And so one day – Swami Vivekananda – who was yet to become a disciple of Ramakrishna Paramhansa, decided to test Ramkrishna. In the beginning days, Swami Vivekananda would not accept Ramakrishna as his master. He tested Ramakrishna in various ways and asked him many critical questions. Ramakrishna also encouraged Swami Vivekananda and told him “Test me as the moneychangers test their coins. You must not believe me without testing me thoroughly.”

Swami Vivekananda learned that Ramakrishna considered “money” as a hindrance on the path of spirituality and could not tolerate the touch of silver coins (i.e. money). To test this, one day when Ramakrishna was not in his room, Swami Vivekananda put a silver coin under the mattress of his bed. Ramakrishna entered the room without knowing what Swami Vivekananda had done. Ramkrishna sat on his bed. But immediately he jumped up in pain and asked someone to check his bed. The bed was searched and the coin was found.

And Swami Vivekananda’s eyes were filled with tears. He bowed before his Guru – Ramakrishna Paramhansa and for a long time, he remained at the master’s lotus feet!

The beautiful relationship of a disciple and the master – between Swami Vivekananda and Ramakrishna Paramhansa – is so touching that words cannot suffice – language is really poor!

It was known that Swami Vivekananda did not accept or worship the goddess KALI, the goddess Ramakrishna used to worship.

And so one day Ramakrishna asked him— “Why do you come here if you do not accept Kali, my Mother?”

And Swami Vivekanand’s eyes became wet, looking into the eyes of the master – he replied “Simply because I come to see you. I come to you because I love you.”

RAHU cannot understand this love. RAHU cannot rejoice in this love. For the simple reason – RAHU is interested in MONEY – and Laxmi is not MONEY. Money is money – it brings along too many miseries – but the same money when is earned through good means, when is earned and spent for good purposes – when is earned and spent to help someone – then the same money becomes LAXMI – you know why? Because it brings along a certain peace, a certain satisfaction, a certain bliss to your ‘self’!

Money is NOT Laxmi. But MONEY can be transformed into LAXMI – when you do good to others through that money. When your money is used for positive, constructive KARMA – then the MONEY you have is transformed into LAXMI. Then this LAXMI brings peace and prosperity to you and your dear ones. It is all connected – it always is!

The divine Saint Neem Karoli Baba – whom the much famed Apple Founder Steve Jobs had come to meet says – “Money should be used to HELP others.”

Then such money stays, then such money has a certain fragrance to it – then such money never fails you-you are always found in peace, in bliss!

RAHU-ish men or women – are simply running behind money. And they also make a lot of money. But that is money – only money – NOT LAXMI! So don’t confuse yourself – Money is one thing. And LAXMI is another!

Only that man can be blessed with LAXMI – who is NOT Greedy for money. Who is found to be satisfied with whatever he is earning, Who is not asking for a BRIBE?

A great Saint had once said that to a Government officer – the money you receive on the 1st of every month (salary) is your LAXMI. And the thing that you receive from 2nd to 31st of the month (Bribe) is MONEY!

And so always remember – MONEY is LAXMI only when it comes through the positive source and is also spent for positive purpose – only then your MONEY is LAXMI – else it is just a paper currency that can serve you with all sorts of pleasures – but not happiness, you can get as much sex as you want – but not love! Love and happiness cannot be bought in the market – they can only be realized within!

It is true that RAHU-ish people are money makers – but they remain only money-makers. They become just money. You can call them ‘Paisewala’ – but not ‘Rich’ (Shrimant)!

All 3 nakshatras of RAHU are money-making machines – they just make you a machine that makes money – nothing beyond that. And so those who are considering MONEY as their life goal – Ardra, Swati, Satabhisha – come as handy. But beyond money – there is not much to celebrate. Love is missing. Happiness is missing. Health is missing – and so then you see these men in misery. But still – in the very beginning of this answer – I had said that these are purifying nakshatras – why? Because when you fall in misery – either you take the gun in your hand and start shooting others – OR – you become more and more insightful, understanding, and mature! So you see – on what way does the chart inclines – is based on the placement of Jupiter. The stronger the Jupiter – the more these people are purified through many sufferings.

Is suffering really necessary? Yes and No. If you had not suffered as you have, there would be no depth to you as a human being, no humility, no compassion. Suffering cracks open the shell of ego and then comes a point when it has served its purpose. Suffering is necessary until you realize it is unnecessary.

Suffering has a noble purpose. The evolution of consciousness and the burning up of the EGO. Now you see – why I said – Ardra is a purifying nakshatra? It takes you through many Ups and Downs – Pains and sufferings until you come to your senses – until you become aware of your ‘self’ – until a day comes when you start turning inwards!

And that is exactly what men and women whose Moon is in Rahu’s Nakshatra (Ardra, Swati, Satbhisha) should do – it is very difficult for them – because whole life they have been an extrovert – the focus has always been on the OUTWARD – but experience takes them through many difficult lessons of life – that if taken positively (Depending on Jupiter’s placement) – in the last phase of life – (after 42) – they start becoming more and more meditative – but only if other positive aspects support.

Ardra – make the person more talkative and more techie by nature. For innovations, strange ideas that make money, and unique business ideas that are lucrative – Ardra is a suitable nakshatra.

Swati – makes the person sexier. Usually, women with Swati Nakshatra are really very sexy. They are great in the art of love-making. They are highly sensual – erotic and very romantic by nature. Generally, a husband having a Swati nakshatra wife is a happy man. Swati men and women love to read romantic novels. Overall these folks are blessed with good sexual pleasures and luxurious life.

Satabhisha – Women of this nakshatra are too blunt and straightforward. Don’t expect a ‘bhabiji’ type woman – these women are highly brilliant, and intellectual and can catch you red-handed if you try to fake anything. Usually, you would see women of this Nakshatra standing at the forefront when it comes to fighting for ‘Women empowerment! They have a good friend circle and their networking abilities are great. If you ever want to hire a woman or man of this Nakshatra for any job – go ahead – they will not disappoint you. Aquarius woman is not easy to handle – they are too advanced in their outlook towards life and only that man should marry an Aquarius woman – who can give her own ‘SPACE’ – then the marriage can last for years to come!

Let this be very clear – that there is no such thing as LUCKY or UNLUCKY in life or in astrology. There is nothing like a LOSER. Nobody is a loser – because nobody is here by accident! Each person comes into this world with a specific destiny. They have something to fulfill, some message has to be delivered, and some work has to be completed.

Many great scientists and saints are born on Ardra Nakshatra – it is a nakshatra that worships Lord Shiva. The energy of this Nakshatra is the energy of Lord Shiva. And so I would appeal to all my readers and followers – if your birth nakshatra is ARDRA – you have been a great devotee of Lord Shiva from many past lives. This life – you may have forgotten – but I am reminding you to go back to your source – from where you have come – Lord Shiva! Visit HIS temple – and FAST in HIS name – every Monday!

Aum Namaha Shivaya.

Ardra is the moment when Lord Shiva completed his many many years of penance and opened his eyes – and a tear drop fell on this planet – this teardrop is the height of meditation – a great Yogi is born – a great Tapaswi is born – celebration has to be there, music, song, dance – and you are saying Ardra is unlucky! If proper guidance is provided (through other planetary aspects) then this Ardra can reach to the height of spiritual ecstacy – such is the power of this Nakshatra – the same RAHU (passion/desire) when channelized towards something superb, something of higher altitudes – it can create magic!

On the base level – is PHYSICAL SEX (Body). It is purely physical. On the mid-level – is MIND. It is purely on mental state. And on the higher level – is the SOUL.

Every individual is born with a certain level of consciousness. The lower the level of consciousness – the more ‘Physical’ he or she is. The higher the level of consciousness – the less physical and MORE spiritual he or she is. Then their love is purely selfless – then there is a certain fragrance to such a love – love that comes from the state of the SOUL and not the MIND, not the BODY.

Communion between two BODIES is SEX.

Communion between two MINDS is LOVE.

Communion between two SOULS is SAMADHI.

The higher purpose of a meditative soul is to reach the stage where the communion is between the Souls — Soulmates.

Swati is the height of intelligence – only if it is meditative by nature. Airy signs can either be INTELLECTUAL or INTELLIGENT. There is a difference. Intellect is of the MIND. Intelligence is of the HEART. Now on a base level – less evolved soul – this SWATI will make him or her – an intellectual person. But to an evolved soul – the same Swati nakshatra brings an abundance of intelligence – how? Because- to an evolved meditative soul – he or she has aligned the MIND with the HEART and so now the HEART instructs and the MIND follows – and so now the same ‘intellectual person’ sounds a truly intelligent person!

When you are tuned with your heart – you are no more just intellectual – you have become intelligent! But how to tune with your heart? Meditate. The only way to get in tune with yourself – is through meditation. Turn inwards. look within – spend some quality time with yourself – and then no matter what nakshatra you belong to – after all – the supreme energy is of the benevolent compassionate LORD – your master! The energy is the same – the sun is the same, the moon is the same – what is not the same – is the receiving capabilities – every individual receives the energy based on his or her ‘antenna’ – my purpose is to help you all to ‘fine-tune’ your antenna – and then there is no question of what is luck and unluck – then whatever comes – is HIS gift, is HIS blessings and then can anything ever go wrong in our life?

Come, don’t get lost in these small minds that divide the stars in lucky and unlucky – these all are shallow minds – and you have to come to the ‘No-Mind’ stage – where there is no mind – but only the heart – and the heart knows the way, the heart can help you find the way – the heart should become the answer to all your questions.

Get out of your head and Get into your heart. Think less and Feel more.

There is no hard rule – but shallow people have made rules out of ignorance – with the utter ignorance they have tried to fit ‘life’ into a certain rule – that is not possible, life is so large – that nobody can trap it, stop it, block it – life is a flow – it is a ‘river’ – it never really judges to what comes in between – life just continues to flow….

Human beings are prone to judging and judging is ugly.

Even Jesus says “Who am I to Judge – the matter is between you and God.” – So why do we judge?

There is no rule that can distinguish what is right and what is wrong – it is all situational. The same knife when used to save your life – becomes a messiah – and the same knife when cuts your finger – becomes a criminal!

So my dear followers – do not get trapped in judging what is lucky and unlucky or what is wrong and what is right – for the real truth is only to be found beyond the fields of wrongdoing and right doing.

Rules are the outcome of your MIND. And YOU are NOT the Mind.

“The nature of the mind is to wander. YOU are NOT the Mind.” says Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi

Moon in Ardra native can do exceptionally well in media, technology, and research fields. Since this is a highly intellectual placement – if Mercury and Rahu are well placed then the person can do well in a career connected to intellectual fields. Always remember – Astrology is simply the mirror of your whole being and YOUR WHOLE BEING is formed by the support of all your qualities and skills – similarly results of the birth chart are based on COLLECTIVE SUPPORT of all planets and stars. However, the idea of elaborating on a specific placement is just to let you have a feel of it – just the way when you cook – you need to know that red chili powder is spicy – however how this red chili powder will manifest is based on the kind of combinations you do while cooking a certain recipe!

The takeaway for Moon in ARDRA people is:

  1. Do not try to control others
  2. Do not become so busy that you forgot to enjoy the little moments of your life
  3. Spend some time with your SELF – start turning inwards

Meditate every day. Chant the name of the Lord – you may have earned good money – but now it is time to earn peace, joy, and bliss and that is possible only when you start meditating!

Meditate. To start your ‘bike’ – you have to keep kicking multiple times – until the golden moment comes – when the ‘bike’ starts and then it never stops – you enjoy the ride – you experience the many wonderful moments as your spiritual journey progresses! Meditation is just like that – in the beginning you will have to keep trying very hard – then slowly slowly – the meditation will kickstart and then there is no turning back – the road is clear and you are ready for the ‘ride’!

Nelson Mandela mentions the same essence to his wife – Winnie Mandela who was locked up in the in Kroonstad Prison jail. In his letter, Mandel writes to his wife Winnie Mandela-

“At least, if for nothing else, the prison cell gives you the opportunity to look daily into your entire conduct, to overcome the bad and develop whatever is good in you. Regular meditation, say about 15 minutes a day before you turn in, can be very fruitful in this regard.” – Nelson Mandela

However the last words that Nelson Mandela writes to his wife are so beautiful that they should be written in GOLD.

“Never forget that a saint is a sinner who keeps on trying.” – Nelson Mandela, letter to Winnie Mandela , 2/1/75.” – Nelson Mandela

The money, the status, the properties and all the struggles that you undertake goes down the drain – if you never spend time with that one person – YOU.

Turn inwards. Start meditating.

Aum Namaha Shivaya. Aum Namaha Shivaya. Aum Namaha Shivaya.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Retrograde Jupiter in 2nd House

Retrograde Jupiter in the second house gives adverse results regarding finances and money. The native is unable to save money. Money comes but also is spent and the native constantly struggles to save money. The family of such a native is generally big in size or the native’s family enjoys a higher status in society. The native is generally born in a highly privileged family especially if Retrograde Jupiter is in Cancer, Pisces, or Sagittarius. The native generally eats less though he is a foodie by heart. Always remember – FOOD is life. Because you have food to eat – you are alive. And so one who loves food – loves life! And a foodie is always in love with life. You tend to dislike food when you dislike your life – when you are utterly depressed. And you like to have food and various delicacies when you are celebrating life-loving life! Jupiter in the second house is actually a very positive placement however Retrograde Jupiter placement in the second house takes away the glory – since retrogression tends to reduce the impact of positive results. However, still Jupiter is Jupiter – Sugar is Sugar – no matter what quality – sugar will always taste sweet. Similarly, even though Jupiter is retrograde in the second house – it is not bad. This placement delays the prospects of money-making though it never denies the prospects of money-making. Depending on the strength of Jupiter in the birth chart – and the sign it occupies – the result will vary. Retrograde Jupiter in Capricorn will give the worst results – while Retrograde Jupiter in Cancer will give much better results – the sign decides the outcome as well as the sign lord’s strength. If your moon sign lord is Retrograde Jupiter and is placed in the second house then you tend to get confused regarding your ideology and reality of life. The most significant quality of Being realistic is generally found to be missing in natives having Retrograde Jupiter in the second house. This can be a good placement for artists and poets however this is certainly not a good placement for those who wish to make a career in fields where you have to face the hard realities of life – such as crime, corruption, fraud, and politics. Health issues related to eyes, teeth, and throat occur with this placement. If moon is afflicted by Rahu or Mars then Retrograde Jupiter in the second house is a sign that the person may accept bribes – and work unethically. In a negative chart – this placement can make one selfish by nature and it is this selfishness that leads one to many miseries of life. Selfishness is the greatest curse of the human race. Your life becomes difficult when you tend to become more and more selfish. And your life becomes a garden of bliss when you start becoming selfless.

“It is important that when pursing our own self-interest we should be “wise selfish” and not “foolish selfish”. Being foolish selfish means pursuing our own interests in a narrow, shortsighted way. Being wise selfish means taking a broader view and recognizing that our own long-term individual interest lies in the welfare of everyone. Being wise selfish means being compassionate.”

-His Holiness the Dalai Lama

A negative chart having Retrograde Jupiter in the second house makes one ‘foolish selfish’ however, Retrograde Jupiter when placed in the second house and the horoscope has a very positive moon and sun placement then such a person is an altogether different type of person – he may starve to death but he will never compromise on his values. To the world – he may appear as a mad man – a totally insane person but in the kingdom of God – he is regarded as the most lovable person. Reminds of one such person – he became one of the greatest legendary artists – but ironically after death. Until he was alive – he was not known much for his work of art. His name was Vincent van Gogh. Vincent Van Gogh was a very unique artist – but nobody was willing to buy his paintings – it was difficult for the general audience to understand the depth of his unique paintings. It happens – when you are alive – people may not realize the worth of your works – but when you die – suddenly you may become famous. When Vincent Van Gogh was alive – struggling in his youth – nobody paid any attention to his work of art. His brother became worried because not a single painting of Vincent Van Gogh was sold. And so one day his brother paid some money to a man and and told him to go and purchase at least one painting. He said to the man “That will give him some satisfaction. The poor man is dying; the whole day he is painting, starving for painting but nobody is ready to purchase his painting — nobody sees anything in it.” Because to see something in Vincent van Gogh’s painting you need the eye of a painter of the caliber of van Gogh; less than that will not do. His paintings will seem strange to you.

His trees are painted so high that they go above the stars; stars are left far behind. Now, you will think that this man is mad… trees going up higher than the stars? Have you seen such trees anywhere? When Vincent van Gogh was asked, “Your trees always go beyond the stars…?” he said, “Yes, because I understand trees. I have felt always that trees are the ambition of the earth to reach the stars. Otherwise why? To touch the stars, to feel the stars, to go beyond the stars — this is the desire of the earth. The earth tries hard, but cannot fulfill the desire. I can do it. The earth will understand my paintings, and I don’t care about you, whether you understand or not.”

Now, these kinds of paintings you cannot sell. The man his brother had sent came. Van Gogh was very happy: at last, somebody had come to purchase. But soon his happiness turned into despair because the man looked around, picked one painting and gave the money.

Vincent van Gogh said, “But do you understand the painting? You have picked it up so casually, you have not looked; I have hundreds of paintings. You have not even bothered to look around; you have simply picked one that was accidentally in front of you. I suspect that you are sent by my brother. Put the painting back, and take your money. I will not sell the painting to a man who has no eyes for painting. And tell my brother never to do such a thing again.”

The man was puzzled about how he managed to figure it out. He said, “You don’t know me, how did you figure it out?”

He said, “That’s too simple. I know my brother wants me to feel some consolation. He must have manipulated you — and this money belongs to him — because I can see that you are blind as far as paintings are concerned. And I am not one to sell paintings to blind people; I cannot exploit a blind man and sell him a painting. What will he do with it? And tell my brother also that he also does not understand painting, otherwise he would not have sent you.”

When the brother came to know, he came to apologize. He said, “Instead of giving you a little consolation, I have wounded you. I will never do such a thing again.”

This is how Retrograde Jupiter in second house natives are – they cannot exploit others. And because of such a good ethical nature – they tend to miss the opportunity of becoming a millionaire but in the eyes of God – they are the real gems – whose value cannot be understood by shallow men and shallow women.

One significant trait of Retrograde Jupiter is that they are fond of opening bank accounts in multiple banks. In fact, they also love banking. Good bankers or financial advisors are born with this placement especially if Mercury, Moon, and Venus are well placed in the birth chart.

Normal Jupiter or Retrograde Jupiter in the second house native is my favorite. Because the very presence of Jupiter in the second house is a very positive sign – and such a person generally is well versed in languages and decent, wise in his disposition.

The most significant outcome of Retrograde Jupiter in the second house is that this placement becomes a great protecting angel when it comes to safeguarding you from the many attacks of black magic spells and voodoo spells. I can bet that if you have Jupiter in the second house and your moon and sun are not afflicted by Rahu then you will definitely overcome all the black magic spells cast upon you and in the end, you will emerge victorious by defeating all your open and secret enemies.

The remedy to strengthen your Retrograde Jupiter in the second house is by worshipping Lord Vishnu, and reciting Lord Vishnu Stotra or Shloka. The most effective Mantra for Retrograde Jupiter in the second house is the soothing Vishnu Mantra – “Aum Vishnave Namaha” “Aum Vishnave Namaha” “Aum Vishnave Namaha”- by chanting this mantra you will attain much progress in your finances as well as you will attract more income and prosperity in life. You should chant this holy Vishnu mantra 108 times every day without fail.

Another remedy is to avoid eating spicy food and stop eating street food – Retrograde Jupiter in the second house may indulge you in eating all kinds of food delicacies however if you don’t control your taste buds then you will end up putting a lot of body weight and some may even face challenges such as obesity.

Retrograde Jupiter in the second house simply is the message that you need to focus on your self-growth, your values, your ethics, and monitor your finances as well as your eating habits. Overall it is not a bad placement – it is just a reminder that when it comes to money, and food – you should be extra cautious.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Rahu in Uttaraphalguni

“Nothing going to change my love for you….you ought to know by now how much I Love You…..” Uttaraphalguni reminds me of this beautiful song sung by George Benson. Leo is a sign of LOVE. Virgo is a sign of LOGIC. Uttaraphalguni spreads its wings in both the signs – LEO and VIRGO. The First Pada of Uttaraphalguni falls in LEO sign – the sign of LOVE. The remaining three padas fall in VIRGO sign – the sign of LOGIC.

LEO is LOVE – and LOVE is intelligent.

“The most intelligent thing we can do is love, not reason.”
-Barry Lopez

The more you are in love – the more love is within and around you – the more you become LOVE – the more you become Intelligent – the source of intelligence is LOVE!

“Love sharpens intelligence, fear dulls it.” – Osho

Rahu in the first Pada of LEO sign fire up the matters of love and the quest for intelligence. Whereas natives having Rahu in the second, third and fourth Pada of VIRGO sign are more attracted towards intelligence.

The inner feeling of natives having Rahu in Uttaraphalguni is in the following words:

“I’m attracted to intelligence. Don’t get me wrong, a perfectly crafted body will certainly get my attention, but I’ll get bored with it. I always do. I need you to outsmart me. Make me feel like I could learn from you, grow with you. Do that and you can have me forever.”
-A.R. Lucas

VIRGO is LOGIC – and LOGIC is intellectual. Understand the difference. Savor the difference.

SUN is Intelligence. While Mercurian VIRGO is intellectual. On top of that – when Rahu is in Sun’s Nakshatra Uttaraphalguni – you end up meeting a person who has the capacity to attain the peak of intelligence.

Mohan asked “What is intelligence – how would you define intelligence?”

Not to carry the past is intelligence, to die to the past every moment is intelligence, to remain fresh and innocent is intelligence. To live 100% in the NOW moment is intelligence. To listen to the voice of your heart is intelligence. Intelligence is born when your intellect is in tune with your heart. Heart is the source of intelligence – Sun represents this heart – and it is necessary to remember that the MIND is always lost in the PAST or the FUTURE – whereas the HEART is always in the PRESENT – it has to be in the PRESENT because if the heart stops beating then you are DEAD!

So heart is always beating – living. A man of awareness looks joyous because he follows the beat of his heart – he is liv-ing with joy!

“Life is a verb. Life is not a noun, it is really “living” not “life.” It is not love, it is loving. It is not relationship, it is relating. It is not a song, it is singing. It is not a dance, it is dancing. See the difference, savor the difference.”
-OSHO

Rahu in Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra brings brilliance in the field of:

  1. Ministry service
  2. Doctor service
  3. Mechanical service
  4. Technical service
  5. Communication service

Basically in all kind of service sectors – such a Rahu shines bright – in fact natives are more interested to serve the society through their intelligence and skills.

Rahu in Uttaraphalguni brings expertise in certain skillset. Be it writing, singing, dancing, handcrafting – native does well in skills related with hands.

Many good doctors and healers are born with this placement. Skillful hands, certain healing power is seen, in fact many reiki masters are born with this placement. Rahu in Uttaraphalguni gives a great desire to heal others, to educate others, to spread the light of consciousness – to help this world become a much better place to live.

Rahu in the last three padas of Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra fire up the tendency to analyze. Such a Rahu is good for research work, investigation. This Rahu is also good for works of literature, accountancy, and drama.

Uttaraphalguni is a beautiful lovable nakshatra. However Rahu exaggerates everything that it gets in touch with! Rahu is oil – and oil never gives you satisfaction – that’s why when you start eating oily fried food – you want more and more and more – that is how the nature of Rahu is – it wants more and more and you never realize that when this “Do More” nature converts into an obsession!

Obsessed with too much analyzing – too much criticizing – too much intellectualism – too much head – too much logic – all these traits are often seen when Rahu is in Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra.

There is a conflict – Rahu’s quest for intellectualism and Sun’s quest for intelligence! Uttaraphalguni being a Sun’s Nakshatra – Rahu feels that it is not getting the ‘limelight’ – the ‘recognition’ that it aspires for! Recognition – is what these natives strive for – the more recognition they get the more they are satisfied. For them recognition comes first – money comes later. Recognition is what drives them.

Everybody wants recognition – appreciation – that’s perfectly fine. But this RAHU simply gets so much obsessed with seeking recognition that the native simply forgets the fact that happiness is not TOTALLY based on recognition.

“Happy people don’t go through life collecting and seeking recognition. They go through life giving it away.”
-Dodinsky

Natives having Rahu in Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra should realize that – the desire for recognition makes you weak and you fall in a vicious trap.

“What makes people weak? Their need for validation and recognition, their need to feel important. Don’t get caught in this trap.” – Paulo Coelho

Rahu is FEAR. And in the case of RAHU in UTTARAPHALGUNI nakshatra – the native is unable to live a fearless life because he or she is constantly seeking validation, recognition from others!

And when you stop seeking recognition and validation – fear will fade away and you will become the most feared person on this planet!

“The woman who does not require validation from anyone is the most feared individual on the planet.”
-Mohadesa Najumi

Uttaraphalguni is a nakshatra that loves to accumulate knowledge, learn new subjects – Uttaraphalguni is indeed a scholarly Nakshatra – many scholars ae born with Moon in Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra. Rahu In Uttaraphalguni gives birth to the desire of attaining scholarship. If the other planets are well placed then the native succeeds in getting scholarship on his or her merits.

In the chart of an evolved soul – Rahu in Uttaraphalguni can also give intense desire to attain wisdom.

It is necessary to understand that all NAKSHATRAS ruled by SUN – signify a strong inclination towards spirituality. And since Uttaraphalguni falls in Leo and Virgo – the heart and hand come together and when this happens – a good spiritual healer is born! Because you can heal only when you follow the vibes of your heart – when your actions are in sync with what you feel from the depth of your heart.

You can heal yourself only when your heart is open and flowering with joy. Healing is closely connected with the state of your heart. If you are unwell – if you are having certain chronic diseases then you should focus on opening your heart – and your heart will open only when it is purified!

“A pure heart open. to the light, will be filled with the very essence of Truth”
-Rumi

Rahu in Uttaraphalguni natives should focus on purifying their heart.

“To purify the heart is the one and only purpose that God has created this human life.”
-Radhanath Swami

How to purify your heart? That must be your next question. And the answer is – by chanting day and night – with consistency – with love – with devotion.

“Chanting is a significant and mysterious practice. It is the highest nectar, a tonic that fully nourishes our inner being. Chanting opens the heart and makes love flow within us. It releases such intoxicating inner bliss and enthusiastic splendor, that simply through the nectar it generates, we can enter the abode of the Self.”
-Swami Muktananda

Rahu in Uttaraphalguni natives should stress more on chanting then chattering.

Mohan asked “Why you insist these natives to chant more?”

I said “Because Rahu in sign of logic (Virgo) brings forth the nature of chatting, gossiping which a highly intelligent Nakshatra Uttaraphalguni doesn’t like – and Rahu simply pushes you more into the head then the heart – and so these natives need to chant – because only through chanting can they overcome the ever buzzing mind and the tendency to perceive everything from logical mindset.”

Virgo is an intellectual sign – but the problem with intellectualism is that it is completely trapped in the HEAD – it is all logic – and GOD cannot be realized, LOVE cannot be realized by LOGIC but by LOVE – and LOVE happens only when you start moving from your HEAD to HEART – this wonderful journey begins only when you have the fuel which comes through the source of CHANTING.

“Mantra Chanting is therapeutic. It energizes the body, purifies the mind and cleans the soul.”

To experience GOD – the experience the divine – you have to focus on chanting the holy mantra – by focusing on your breathing.

“Please take to this chanting of Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. That is our only request. You are not losing anything, but you are gaining very much, simply by chanting.”
It will cleanse your heart
 -Srila Prabhupada

True intelligence is possible only when you take to chanting – only when you start moving out of your head – when you think less and feel more.

“Get out of your head and get into your heart. Think less, feel more.”
-Osho

Rahu in Uttaraphalguni generally gives a good appealing body – especially if the native is a female then such a female looks very appealing, her body is generally found to be in shape and she generally enjoys good health. The same is the case with males having Rahu in Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra.

A few days ago – Mohan has asked a beautiful question – he asked “How does the head destroy the possibilities of LOVE?”

The HEAD is always GOAL-ORIENTED. Rahu in Uttaraphalguni being in Virgo sign – can make you more logical then otherwise. And Logic is HEAD and HEAD always has a GOAL – an AGENDA!

Reminds me of a beautiful story. There was a man, and he was interested in self-realization. All his life, that was his desire, his goal! He was in search of a Master, who could help him achieve his desire. A Master who could teach him meditation. So he went from one Master to another, but nothing was happening…

Years went by, he was tired, exhausted. Then someone told him, “If you really want to find a master you will have to go to the Himalayas. He lives in some unknown parts of the Himalayas; you will have to search for him. One thing is certain, he is there. Nobody knows exactly where, because whenever somebody comes to know of him he moves from that place and goes even deeper into the Himalayan ranges.”

The man was getting old, but he gathered courage. For two years he had to work to earn money for the journey, then he made the journey. Those were the old times, so he had to ride on camels and horses and then go on foot, and then he reached the Himalayas. People said, “Yes, we have heard about the old man, very ancient, one cannot say how old he must be — maybe three hundred years old, or even five hundred years old; nobody knows. He lives somewhere, but the location cannot be given to you. Nobody is aware of where exactly you will find him, but he is there. If you search hard you are bound to find him.”

The man searched and searched and searched. For two years he was roaming in the Himalayas — tired, exhausted, dead exhausted, living only on wild fruits, leaves and grass. He had lost much weight. But he was intent that he had to find this man; even if it took his life, it would be worth it.

And can you imagine? One day, he saw a small hut, a grass hut. He was so tired that he was not even able to walk, so he crawled. He reached the hut. There was no door; he looked in, there was nobody inside. And not only was there nobody inside, but there was every sign that for years there had been nobody inside.

You can imagine what would have happened to that man. He fell on the ground. Out of sheer tiredness he said, “I give up.” He was lying there under the sun in the cool breeze of the Himalayas, and for the first time he started feeling so blissful, he had never tasted such bliss! Suddenly he started feeling full of light. Suddenly all thoughts disappeared, suddenly he was transported — and for no reason at all, because he had not done anything.

….And then he became aware that somebody was leaning over him. He opened his eyes. A very very ancient old man was standing in front of him.

And the ancient old man, the Master smiled, and said, “So you have come. Have you something to ask me?”

The man said, “No.” The ancient old man laughed, a great belly laugh which was echoed by the valleys. And he said, “So now you know what meditation is?”

And the man said ” Yes”!

Beautiful. What an insightful story! Meditation is a Let-Go. Meditation happens only, when the mind is non-goal oriented. You sit for meditation with a purpose to achieve something and meditation cannot happen! The moment you drop the desire, the destination is met! Then there is a joy to it. Then there is a song to it. The assertion which came from that man’s deepest core of being — “I give up” — in that very giving up, all goal-oriented mind efforts and desires disappeared. He dropped all his desires and goals and in that very moment he was no more the same person. And bliss showered on him. He was silent, he was a nobody, and he touched the ultimate stratum of non-being. Then he knew what meditation is. Then he knew what prayer is for! And then he was able to attain self-realization!

The moment this man let go, of his desire to meet the Master , to achieve self-realization….the moment he said ‘I give up’, the miracle happened! Meditation happened, God happened, Love happened, Joy arose in his heart! The moment he let go, the ‘doors opened’ and …the Master appeared…..his aura…his smile…his divinity…all that he had wished to experience, appeared before him! And that was his moment…moment of self-realization!

The natives having RAHU in UTTARAPHALGUNI should try to LET GO – and LET GO is possible only when you are no more caught up in your HEAD – when you have started moving towards your HEART.

Happiness is not attained as long as you are trapped in your head, your logic, your so called intellectualism. Happiness is attained only through the heart and so it is only when you start following your heart – when you feel more and think less that you can find happiness in your life. Head will never allow you to LET GO – the heart will. Listen to your heart – your heart is beautiful.

“If your heart is beautiful, your face will be beautiful, your life will be beautiful, everything will be beautiful.”
-Swami Satchidananda

Uttaraphalguni is Royale by nature. Being a star of the SUN – the Supreme King – this Nakshatra is RAJAS by Guna. Rajas means royal, pleasure seeking. And when Rahu is in Uttaraphalguni – the desire to experience Royal lifestyle – the desire to live life KING SIZE is seen with these natives.

Reminds me of Naruhito. Naruhito is the current emperor of Japan. He acceded to the Throne on 1 May 2019. He is the 126th monarch according to Japan’s traditional order of succession.

Naruhito has Rahu in Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra.

Stardom comes naturally to Rahu in Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra. Being the Nakshatra of Sun and its association with Mercurian Virgo with a touch of Fame called RAHU – you will find many known celebrity actors and actresses born with this placement.

One that I remember is – Jackie Shroff. A devotee of Sai Baba – Jackie Shroff’s story is typically a rags to riches story. From a very humble beginning – he rose to the heights of Stardom.

The legendary South Indian Actor – Mohanlal also has Rahu in Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra.

As mentioned in the very beginning of this sharing – that Rahu in Uttaraphalguni provides skills in acting as well as the desire to attain wisdom. When it comes to the subject of wisdom – how can I miss the most famous Life Coach – Tony Robbins!

“If you sincerely want to change your life: raise your standards.
What changes people is when their shoulds becomes musts.”
-TONY ROBBINS

Tony Robbins has Rahu in Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra.

So now you all can understand that how significant Rahu in Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra is – and the potential it brings on!

Rahu in Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra is most suitable for natives born on:

  1. Virgo Ascendant
  2. Taurus Ascendant
  3. Capricorn Ascendant
  4. Libra Ascendant
  5. Gemini Ascendant
  6. Aquarius Ascendant

Rahu loves Mercury and Venus and so when you have strong well placed Mercury and Venus – then Rahu in Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra is potent to provide best possible results.

Aryamana is the deity of Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra. Aryaman is the third son of Aditi the mother of the Adityas and is depicted as the mid-morning sun. Aryamana or Aryam means “Life partner” or “Close friend.” Hindu marriage oaths are administered with an invocation to Aryaman being the witness to the event. Aryaman also is the deity of the customs of hospitality.

The tree – Kaner or Oleander or also called as Rose Laurel is the tree related to Uttara phalguni Nakshatra.

By planting Kaner or Oleander – you will be able to receive the grace of the scholarly Nakshatra – Uttara Phalguni!

Always remember – worshipping Lord Sun every morning by offering “Ardhya” and reciting the following 12 Surya Mantras – you can strengthen SUN in your birthchart.

The 12 powerful Surya Mantras are as follows:

1. Om Mitraya Namaha – which means – salutations to the friend of all

2. Om Ravaye Namaha – which means – salutations to the shining one

3. Om Suryaya Namaha – which means – salutations to the one who induces activity

4. Om Bhanave Namaha – which means – salutations to the one who illumines

5. Om Khagaya Namaha – which means – salutations to the one who moves quickly in the sky

6. Om Pushne Namaha – which means – salutations to the giver of strength and nourishment

7. Om Hiranya Garbhaya Namaha – which means – salutations to the golden cosmic self

8. Om Marichaye Namaha – which means – salutations to the bringer of the dawn

9. Om Adityaya Namaha – which means – salutations to the son of Aditi, the cosmic mother

11. Om Arkaya Namaha – which means – salutations to the one who is fit to be praised

12. Om Bhaskaraya Namaha – which means – salutations to the one who leads to enlightenment

Remember – SUN is a CELIBATE – meaning SUN never had SEX. Sun is NOT behind sexual pleasures. Venus is behind sexual pleasures. And so Venus considers SUN as enemy. Venus and SUN are enemies of each other.

SUN is YOGI.

VENUS is BHOGI.

BHOG is always limited version because after having sex – you are lost, you are tired.

YOG is always unlimited version because the more you meditate the more you gain strength!

See – the contrast – in case of Venus the more you have sex the more you become tired. In case of Sun – the more you do Yoga the more you gain strength!

You have to decide – which one to choose – BHOG or YOG?

Based on what you choose is what decides your future course of births and rebirths. There is absolutely nothing wrong in being a BHOGI – what is wrong is that when you REMAIN A BHOGI – you don’t realize that ENOUGH is ENOUGH.

Reminds me of a story – it happened so that God is making all the creatures of the earth and is giving out sex lives to each animal.

First he turns to the human.

“I am giving you ten years of a good sex life,” says God.

The man’s face falls. “Is that all?” he asks.

“I only have so much to go around, fella,” says God.

He then turns to the monkey and says, “I’m giving you twenty years of a good sex life.”

The monkey says, “Oh, I don’t really need that much. Ten years would be more than enough for me.”

The man, standing nearby, overhears this and says excitedly, “I will take it! I will take those extra ten years.”

“All right,” says God. “You got it.”

He then turns to the lion.

“I’m going to give you twenty years of good sex life.”

The lion replies, “You know, God, I really think I would be happier with just ten.”

The man starts hopping up and down. “I will take them! I will take the other ten years!”

“You can have them,” says God to the man.

He turns to the donkey and says, “Now, I am going to give you twenty years of a good sex life. Is that all right with you?”

“To tell you the truth,” says the donkey, “I would also be satisfied with just ten.”

God gives the man the other ten years too.

This story explains why a man has ten years of a good sex life, ten years of monkeying around, ten years of lying’ about it and then ten years of making an ass out of himself.

This is what happens when you REMAIN BHOGI – when you continue to see more and more sexual pleasures – there is no end to this – and that is how you never come out of this birth and death cycle!

“IF A PERSON HAS KNOWN ONLY SEX AS LIFE, HE IS STUPID, HE IS AN IDIOT.”
-OSHO

SEX is NOT bad. Being BHOGI is NOT bad – because at some stage of life – we all have been in the stage of a BHOGI – but what differentiates the wise from the idiot is that the wise moves on – while the idiot remains a BHOGI – continues to seek more and more sexual pleasures!

SUN – SUN is a celibate – HE is truly FREE – HE is GOD – HE is the SOURCE of this whole universe. To such a divine SUN – the Lord of Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra – I humbly prostrate and pray that may HIS blessing shower upon me and my followers.

Love to all my followers. Stay blessed and remember to take bath in the early morning blissful sun rays. Sitting and receiving the early sun rays – recite the name of the Lord – listen to the humming of the birds – watch the flowers dancing in the cool breeze – what else more is needed to enjoy this beautiful human life – nothing more but Love. Love. And only Love.

Love to all my followers. Stay blessed.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Retrograde Jupiter: Blessing or Curse?

“देर आये,दुरुस्त आये “ (Der Ayee Durust Aye) – it means “You have come late but you have taken the right step.” In plain words – it resonates with the saying “It is better to be late than to be NEVER.” Retrograde Jupiter is a situation where the native takes time to understand certain values of life – it takes time to SINK IN.

However, once it sinks in – then they never turn back – then they are all set on the PATH – the PATH of righteousness – the PATH of awareness – The Buddha Path.

Now when it takes time to SINK in – SAMJHNE MEIN WAQT LAGTA HAI – then it is obvious that you will commit certain serious mistakes in life for you may regret later.

And so Retrograde Jupiter is a sign that the person is going to commit certain action (Karma) in the state of ignorance however when the thought of “How much an idiot I have been” sinks in – then they go through self-transformations.

So ideally Retrograde Jupiter is a story of a BAD man or an IGNORANT IDIOT transforming into a wise man – of course in the later stage of life – because self-growth tends to delay with this placement.

One significant aspect of Retrograde Jupiter is that these fellows always feel guilty about their acts. The feeling of guilt is actually not good for spiritual progress.

Jesus says “No one among you is free from sin” – Sin happens. What is Sin? Asked Mohan.

Sin is simply the absence of awareness. Whatever you do in the absence of awareness is SIN. And so SIN can be corrected – by bringing back awareness in your being. That is why the Buddhists don’t have the word SIN in their ‘dictionary’.

“In Buddhist terminology there is Nothing like Sin, only Mistakes, Errors. There is No Condemnation. You can Correct the Error, you can Correct the Mistake.
It is Simple.”
-Osho

Retrograde Jupiter is a man who is too much caught in the ideas of guilt conscious. And because of being too guilt conscious – such a person always feels insecure – he is always trying to get validation from others – he is always eager to hear others say – that he is a good man. He needs certification of being good – because he is constantly fighting the battle of being guilt conscious.

“A guilty conscience never feels secure.”
-Publilius Syrus

Jupiter is the GURU. And who is your FIRST GURU? The very FIRST GURU in life is your FATHER. Now when GURU is RETROGRADE – it is obvious that there is some problem or issue with the FATHER. Either there are differences with the Father or the Father is a very unique person and that he is not easily reachable or the native cannot truly relate with the thoughts of his or her father.

Retrograde Jupiter actually is a sign of certain challenges when it comes to seeking a spiritual master. The question of whether the spiritual master is available in physical form or not is irrelevant. Always remember – GURU is not the physical form.

“Guru is not the physical form. So the contact will remain even after the physical form of the Guru vanishes.”
-Sri Ramana Maharshi

The Bhagavan used to say – “You will be disappointed if you hold onto my physical feet because one day this physical body will disappear. The greatest worship is worshipping the Guru’s feet that are within oneself.”

SELF is the GURU says the Bhagavan – Bhagavan Ramana Maharishi. SELF means the consciousness within you. Because GURU is nothing but PURE CONSCIOUSNESS! And so when you start living your life with more and more consciousness – someday you are going to meet your master who is the LIGHT OF CONSCIOUSNESS!

So meeting the GURU in physical form is irrelevant – what is relevant is that you CONNECT with your GURU – and this is exactly where RETROGRADE JUPITER native falls short of – he or she is unable to CONNECT with the GURU. This is because of JUPITER in a retrograde state. It simply implies that this PAUSE state of Jupiter is a second chance given to you – so that you take efforts towards improvising yourself and rectify yourself – thereby in the next birth – you come out as a person who has had his share of learning and is now a better version of oneself.

No matter whether Jupiter is a beneficial planet or not – RETROGRESSION always is a STATE that demands that you PAUSE to introspect in the matters ruled by Jupiter as well as the matters that fall under the house ruled by Jupiter in your Ascendant as well as Moon chart.

RETROGRESSION of JUPITER is simply a signal to PAUSE, to INTROSPECT, to REFLECT.

Now the question may arise that why certain individuals are born with a message to PAUSE and introspect?

And the answer is because they have been going wrong. They have been doing something wrong and so the existence gives them a chance to PAUSE and introspect in the form of RETROGRADE JUPITER.

Many a time when you are doing certain wrong things in life and when you visit the divine master then you know what the master says? The master says “Let’s walk”. This walk is a state of PAUSE – in which the master help you realize your mistakes. And the master is so soft – so compassionate – that just his voice – his few words are enough to bring tears to your eyes! And those tears become the foundation of your self-transformation! After all who is born as SAINT – nobody. Jesus says “No one among you is free from sin” however what makes you unique is your intensity to transform – that is why Nelson Mandela writes to his wife – “A SAINT is a SINNER who keeps trying.”

This nature of trying and trying is what eventually transforms you into a beautiful butterfly – then you are no more an ugly caterpillar – you become a beautiful butterfly.

If you ask me then I would say that YES – Retrograde Jupiter is indeed a sign that something has gone wrong in the conscience of the native – however, it is also TRUE that GOD has been kind enough to give him a second chance to take STOCK.

One needs to get the balance right between action and reflection. With so many distractions, it is easy to forget to PAUSE and take STOCK. Retrograde Jupiter is a sign that the native has been allocated this life to PAUSE and take STOCK of his own doings – his level of awareness – his mistakes and so on. Basically, in simple words – it is a golden opportunity to get yourself right by being more introspective.

And ideally in good quality horoscopes – Retrograde Jupiter – does make the native introspective and when there is a certain spiritual inclination to the horoscope then the person does not limit himself with mere introspection but starts TURNING INWARDS – and that indeed is the TURNING POINT of his life.

Remember – the only TURNING POINT in life is when you start TURNING INWARDS.

Shallow people ask “When will the turning point come in my life?” To them, the turning point of life is limited to when they will become rich and have all pleasures of human life.

However, an evolved soul is not a common soul. Such a soul is perfectly aware that the real turning point is when you get hold of the REAL GOLD – the SELF. And you can get hold of your SELF only when you go deeper and deeper in your self-inquiry.

“Self-inquiry is the process and the goal also.
‘I am’ is the goal and the final reality. To hold to it with effort is self-inquiry. When spontaneous and natural it is realization.” – RAMANA MAHARISHI

Remember – only when you go deeper into life by turning inwards that you can truly understand the beauty of life. Life is like a musical instrument and only those who deeply dive inwards – can truly create great music out of this musical instrument called LIFE.

Reminds me of a beautiful Sufi story. In a very ancient family, there was some musical organ, but people had completely forgotten how to play it. Generations came and people even forgot that it was a musical organ. It was gathering dust.

It was a very big organ and it was taking up much space. One day the family decided to throw this nonsense.

They said, ‘This is just a nuisance. Why should we keep it?’ They took it out; they threw it on the road.

They had just reached home when a beggar started playing upon the organ.

Time stopped. They simply turned. The whole traffic stopped, people came rushing from their houses; they forgot everything. For one hour the beggar was playing on it.

It was so beautiful, so enchanting — they were just hypnotized. And when the music ended the family demanded their organ back.

The beggar said, ‘It is not yours, because a musical instrument belongs to one who can play with it. There is no other ownership. It may have remained in your house for many centuries but it doesn’t belong to you. You are not worthy of it. I am the owner!’

And of course, the whole crowd agreed with the beggar — that he was the owner — because what does one mean by ownership?

A musical instrument belongs to one who can play with it.

And that’s how it is: life belongs to those who can go deeper and deeper and deeper into it.

RETROGRADE JUPITER is a golden opportunity that makes you go deeper and deeper into yourself – in self-inquiry. Of course, the soul has to have a certain quality to it – else this wonderful opportunity is also lost. When RETROGRADE JUPITER falls with many malefic planetary aspects then the native simply is not able to take advantage of such a golden opportunity to reinvent oneself.

It is said that when things are bad – it is time to reinvent yourself. Retrograde Jupiter gives you this chance to reinvent yourself however if RAHU obstructs or if Retrograde Jupiter sign lord is also retrograde or in a bad state then this opportunity to reinvent yourself goes down the drain.

Reinventing yourself is a chance to RISE back in this eternal journey called life. Always remember – the greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. Retrograde Jupiter is thus a state in which you can rise every time you fall. It is a sign that the native will NEVER GIVE UP and will continue to reinvent himself no matter how difficult the path is.

As I discuss this beautiful placement of RETROGRADE JUPITER – I wonder what a coincidence it is that today is also GURU POORNIMA – a day specially dedicated to expressing gratitude towards the benevolent Guru – the master. The significance of GURU is beyond the power of words but there is one man who has expressed the significance of the GURU in the most beautiful way possible. His name is SANT KABIR.

SANT KABIR says if Guru and God are both in front of me, I will greet the Guru first as he is the one who showed me the path to God. On this auspicious day of Guru Poornima, it is necessary to revisit the definition of GURU as stated by Sant Kabir.

Sant Kabir says “He is the real Guru Who can reveal the form of the formless before your eyes; who teaches the simple path, without rites or ceremonies; Who does not make you close your doors, and hold your breath, and renounce the world; Who makes you perceive the Supreme Spirit whenever the mind attaches itself; Who teaches you to be still in the midst of all your activities. Fearless, always immersed in bliss, he keeps the spirit of yoga in the midst of enjoyments.”

The most beautiful essence of Sant Kabir who himself was such a great divine master is that he emphasized living in the material world, executing your daily responsibilities and while doing all of this – maintaining the spiritual side of your life. Kabir never advocated the idea of renouncing this material world. And that makes Kabir the most beautiful and greatest saint. He belonged to the lineage of saints who don’t look down on the material world but who teach you and encourage you to BALANCE your material life with spiritual life. Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi also never encouraged his devotees to renounce and become a Sannyasi. One close devotee and classmate of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi quotes:

“Living with Bhagavan induced a spirit of renunciation in many, including myself,
but Bhagavan always discouraged his devotees from taking the final steps of physical renunciation.
My urge to take sannyasa subsided and eventually disappeared.”
-Sri Ramana Kendram, Hyderabad
Face to Face with Sri Ramana Maharshi,

Such are the real masters – masters who don’t compel you to renounce and stop having your normal course of material life – but they are the real masters who help you attain balance in life – by executing your worldly responsibilities while focusing on your spiritual growth.

“Even in the world, the yogi who faithfully discharges his responsibilities, without personal motive or attachment, treads the sure path of enlightenment.”
– Mahavatar Babaji

It is necessary to remember that by renouncing you don’t get a visa to ENLIGHTENMENT. Enlightenment is possible only when you overcome the Mind. And so people renounce – they escape to the Himalayas – but how can they escape their MIND? How can they escape from all the desires of the mind? A man who says “I have no desires” is fooling himself. Because who is this “I” – until this “I” remains – progress on the spiritual path is not possible. This “I” is your EGO. People who renounce – they continue to carry this EGO – that I HAVE RENOUNCED EVERYTHING – you see even in renouncing the EGO remains. The “I” remains. That is why in the Holy Bible it is said “That I must decrease and HE must increase”. This HE is the holy Lord. When you become smaller – only then the master’s omnipresence will increase in your life. And the day you become completely empty – SHUNYA – then there is only the master and nobody else. How beautiful is this state – Arjuna had experienced this state – his whole being was filled with KRISHNA – LORD KRISHNA. Reminds of a beautiful story. Once – Rukmini asked Krishna “What is so special about Arjuna? Why he is your favorite disciple?”

Krishna smiled and said, “Because he is constantly remembering me – no matter in what state he is – his every breath is filled with my name in it.”

Rukmini said “But then even I continuously remember you – I continuously chant your name. Then why I am not your favorite?”

Krishna said “ You will find your answer. Today – at midnight you visit Arjuna and see for yourself.”

Rukmini said, “But at midnight – he must be in deep sleep.”

Krishna said “ That is why you should go – that is the time when you will come to know about his greatness and why he is my favorite?”

Rukmini was Lord Krishna’s wife. She also had great spiritual powers. So with her spiritual power – through astral journey she visited Arjuna. It was midnight – the whole capital was in deep sleep. She looked at Arjuna – Arjuna was also in deep sleep – but something moved her – she could hear the chant of “Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Hare Krishna” and the sound of the chant was coming from Arjuna. Rukmini was taken aback – her eyes became wet – this was impossible – even when in deep sleep – Arjuna’s whole body was vibrating with the beautiful soothing name of Krishna – Hare Krishna! Even when in sleep – this man had not stopped chanting – she could hear the rhythm – the sound – the music – and it was so enticing that she remained until sunrise. When Arjuna opened his eyes – he could see Rukmini standing before him – her eyes were filled with tears. She folded her hands before him and said “I am touched by your devotion – now I can understand why Krishna loves you so much.”

My friends – this is how a true disciple is. We all call ourselves disciples but we are still very far from the state of real discipleship. Always remember – before you start finding your GURU – first become a good disciple – and when you become a good disciple – when devotion is overflowing your being then the master will appear before you. You don’t have to seek the master – the master will come in search of you – when your devotion will flower – when your inward journey progresses – and when you stop being a doer. I hear many people saying that “I should do this” – and “I should do that” – as long as you remain a doer – you will continue to suffer in life.

“The present difficulty is that man thinks he is the doer.
But it is a mistake.
It is the higher power which does everything and man is only a tool.”
– Ramana Maharshi

Your progress on the spiritual path will happen only when you stop thinking about it. When you stop thinking that it is YOU who is chanting – it is YOU who is meditating. The evolved soul is perfectly aware that it is the grace of the master that enables you to chant – that enables you to meditate. And so he never takes credit or he never lives with the belief that “I am doing everything”.

There is no such thing as a “SELF-MADE MAN”.

A man who lives his life with the belief that he is a self-made man – never progresses in the true sense. Never evolves to new heights.

However, a man who lives his life as a “GOD-MADE MAN” – is already on the surest path of enlightenment.

The state of RETROGRADE JUPITER is simply a wake-up call – a call to help you self-realize that there is no such thing called self-made man – because man is merely a tool – whatever happens – happens with HIS grace. Benjamin Franklin- one of the founding father of the United States quotes:

“Benjamin Franklin Quote
I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth that god governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid?”
– Pennsylvania

A man who understands the fact that HE is not the doer – he is merely a tool in the hands of the mighty Lord is indeed a blessed man. Such a man has a bright future – and when I say bright future – it is not about millions of dollars and Rolls Royce cars – it is about realizing yourself – and coming back to the source – CONSCIOUSNESS. GOD-CONSCIOUSNESS.

“God is the ultimate fragrance of your consciousness.” -OSHO

Coming back to the level of consciousness that you had fallen from – is primarily the message and the purpose of Retrograde Jupiter.

Love to all my close followers and listeners – it is my joy to wish you all HAPPY GURU PURNIMA. You all are beautiful souls – I pray that you all find your light and you continue to progress in your journey within.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Retrograde Venus: What It Means

Madhur Madhur Naam Sita Ram Sita Ram. Madhur Madhur Naam Sita Ram Sita Ram. What a beautiful devotional song – it simply means – that the name of Sita and Ram is so sweet – so sweet – Madhur means sweet – Naam means name and Sita Rama is the holy couple – Goddess Sita and Lord Rama. It is said that just by reciting the name of Lord Rama – many miseries and the feeling of being STUCK is faded away and you start feeling better – and more better. Retrogression often makes one feel stuck – as if no progress is happening – especially when your horoscope is too malefic. In the case of a person whose Retrograde planet is well-placed – such a person also at some stage of life goes through a sluggish phase of life. So sluggishness comes naturally in the matters of the retrograde planet. We will now see – the kind of sluggishness or delays one may have to face when Venus is retrograde.

Retrograde Venus – Matters of love suffer. Challenges in relationships. The native also may have some strange thoughts about sexuality – he or she may opt for certain ways of sexuality that are not considered normal by the majority. The matters of the house ruled by Retrograde Venus are delayed and the native generally gets discounted results of the house that Retrograde Venus rules. For example if 7th house lord is Retrograde Venus then the person may face delays in marriage or by chance if he gets married then either he may not be able to sexually saitisfy his wife or the wife is unable to sexually satisfy the native. When Venus is retrograde – early ejaculation happens and the native finds difficulties in sexually satisfying his wife or girlfriend. Early ejaculation is a deep subject and there are many Astrological placements or aspects that signify early ejaculation – one of them is Retrograde Venus and afflicted Moon in the birth chart.

When it comes to sex – there are many challenges that the person can face with this placement. Early ejaculation, or prolonged ejaculation but the native is unable to feel the pleasure – he just keeps doing it like a robot – the partner may feel the pleasures but the native feels absolutely no pleasures – this kind of situation is also a serious sexual problem since the native keeps doing it but is unable to feel the pleasure.

Retrograde Venus often brings many complications in relationships. However the positive side of Retrograde Venus is that it brings a certain unique artistic talent to the native – and if the horoscope is strong then the native can become a celebrity with this Retrograde Venus though his or her personal relationships continue to suffer.

Adolf Hitler had Retrograde Venus – he fell in love with a woman and yet he never was able to marry her – it was only at the very end of his life – that he married her and then they both committed suicide. Love is deep but since Venus signify happiness from marriage – this happiness is absent – the person continues to roam around the town in search of love – but all he gets is utter disappointments and cheating in return.

In a way Retrograde Venus is indeed a very tragic placement – because the person never finds love – and when he finds – it is too late – or – it is not meant to last long.

Retrograde Venus person should ideally not expect much in return – when you love – you simply love. Then you don’t expect anything in return. To love is not to ask anything in return, not even to feel that you are giving something- and it is only such love that can know freedom. Freedom and love go together. Love is not a reaction. If I love you because you love me, that is mere trade, a thing to be bought in the market; it is not love.

As mentioned – in the horoscope of evolved souls – this Retrograde Venus may bring much failure in their personal relationships however in professional life – they rise to great heights. Adolf Hitler, Mariah Carey, Jodie Foster, Robert DeNiro, Kate Moss are some of the celebrities having Retrograde Venus – they all have done exceptionally well in their professional life however they have suffered much in their personal relationships.

When Venus is Retrograde – sexuality is high – the sexual urge is high because Venus has slowed down – and when you slow down you tend to think a lot about the matters that come under your domain – similarly when Venus slows down – the matters of sexuality, love and art become more important for the native – and so the native goes through multiple relationships – sexual experiences in life.

Retrograde Venus in a poor horoscope can also lead to sexual exploitation or child molestation experiences. The woman may have experienced certain horrifying incidents during her childhood days when she was sexually molested by certain men in her family or outside family.

Natives belonging to Lesbian, Gay community often has an afflicted Venus or Venus is retrograde. The question of whether being Gay is good or bad is not important – what is important to note that whatever sexual interests you hold in this human birth is just a continuation of what you were in your previous birth. So for example – if you are a Gay – then it is not that in this birth you are Gay – you have been a Gay in your last birth as well. Always remember – life is a continuation – nothing starts on a blank slate – life begins on a slate that already has certain habitual and mental patterns of your past births. And so if you discovered that you are a lesbian or gay – then do not feel awkward – you belonged to this type of community from your last birth cycles.

Wild sexual fantasies, infatuations and weird ideas about doing sex is a peculiar sign of Retrograde Venus. Adultery is possible with Retrograde Venus – extra-marital affairs often happen when Venus is Retrograde. Once it happened – Some people brought a woman to Jesus and said, “She has committed adultery. It is written in the ancient scriptures, that she should be stoned to death. What do you think?”
Jesus was sitting on the bank of a river.

He must have fallen deep in thought: “If I tell them to stone her to death, it will be violence.” Then what will happen to Jesus’ principle of love? “And if I say no, pardon her, people will be angry. People will say you are speaking against our ancient religion, you are repudiating our ancient scriptures.”

In reality that is what people wanted. The people had come just to stone Jesus with these stones if he said to pardon her, because he is speaking in opposition to our religious scriptures. And if he says to stone her, we will kill this woman and then say to Jesus: “What happened to your love? To your compassion? Where has your compassion gone? Where has your love gone? It was all phony talk.”
But they did not know what Jesus will answer. Jesus said the ancient scriptures are right. They must be right. Take up stones and kill this woman — but let only those throw stones who have never committed adultery nor who have ever even thought of committing adultery.
And the five who had stood before the villagers, probably all mayors and members of the municipal committee, quickly retreated into the crowd. Who wants trouble? The whole village knew. Everyone’s mischief was known. And if they hadn’t committed adultery they certainly had thought of it. To find a man who has not thought of adultery is difficult, one who has not been infatuated, who has not been attracted. All quietly moved back. Slowly slowly the people who had come with stones in their hands let the stones fall where they stood. And slowly slowly people began to disappear.
Evening was falling, the sun was setting. Just as the sun set and it started getting dark, people escaped from there. The woman was left behind, alone. The woman put her head at Jesus’ feet and said, “Give me whatsoever punishment you want. I am an adulteress. I accept it. I am a sinner. And your compassion has overwhelmed my heart. Whatsoever punishment you want to give…”
Jesus said, “Who am I to mete out punishments? Who am I to stand between you and your god? You know, you know what you need to do, and your god knows. I am not going to make any judgement. If you feel you have done something bad, then don’t do it any more. And if it feels alright to you then continue. The one to decide is god. The final decision will be between you and god. There is no intermediary. Go now.”
Consider what he is saying. A famous statement of Jesus is: “Resist not evil.” Not even evil! Why? If god is allowing it to happen, there must be some reason. Wake up within, live within. But the true thread of life emerges in you.

Venus in itself is a materialistic planets and on top of that when Venus gets retrograde then life becomes complicated due to several failures in relationships. It is indeed a very challenging placement – however it is not that in every birth – you will have to live with a Retrograde Venus.

Mohan asked “What is the way out? How can one ensure that in next birth – Venus is not retrograde?”

Mohan’s question is straight. And the answer is also straight – by empowering your JUPITER – you can overcome the RETROGRADE VENUS.

Jupiter is VIVEK – conscience. The word ‘conscience’ means – a person’s moral sense of right and wrong, viewed as acting as a guide to one’s behavior. When you work on empowering your Jupiter by bringing more awareness to your beings then some day – in some birth you will get rid of this RETROGRADE state of Venus and then – the day will come – when you will again start dancing, singing and enjoying the many gifts of this human world – but this time there is going to be no failures in relationships but much happiness from relationships.

There was time when in some birth you had a very normal Venus – then how come this Venus is seen retrograde in your current birth chart? You need to ponder over this question because the answer is not on the outside but within you – my role is to help you turn inwards – so that the greatest journey of your life begins – the journey within.

Love to all those beautiful souls who have Retrograde Venus – mistakes happen but committing the same mistake again and again makes you stupid. And so before it gets too late – come – come back home – wake up and start taking efforts towards turning the tables and rising the level of your consciousness.

Albert Einstein says No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it. This problem of Retrograde Venus cannot be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it. You have to raise the level of your consciousness and the way to do it is by meditating every day – chanting the holy mantra “Aum Ram Krishna Hari” – 20 minutes using a Spatik Japamala. Sphatik represents Venus and so by wearing a Spahtik Japamala you can tune the state of your Retrograde Venus to a better state – after everything begins with YOU – when YOU start changing for good – the whole world starts appearing good to you. Rumi says – ‘Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.’

Focus on changing yourself – let the transformation within begins. Remember – you have to walk the path – the master will show you the way – however it is YOU – who have to walk on the path.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Who Is Ketu’s Soulmate?

Love happens only when you are out of the Mind. Always remember — the Mind cannot Love. The mind can LIKE someone but the Mind cannot Love. There are three mysteries – Love, Life, and Death and all these three are beyond the Mind. Ketu is also beyond the Mind. When Mind ends — Ketu begins. Mind is full of fear – whereas Ketu has absolutely no fear – because Ketu is mindless. And so as long as you are enslaved by your mind – you remain under fear – however, when you start moving beyond the mind – fear starts disappearing – because now you are moving towards Ketu. Ketu is the state of No-Mind. Being Buddha is being in a No-Mind state. Meditation is the state of no-mind and so Ketu becomes significant when it comes to meditation. Because it is only through the energy of Ketu that can you can succeed in your meditations. And so the Soulmate of Ketu also has to be someone who is deeply focused on doing meditations, someone who is set on his or her journey beyond the mind. Someone who is on the path of being a Buddha.

” Those who really seek the path to Enlightenment dictate terms to their mind. Then they proceed with strong determination.”
-Buddha

A soulmate is NOT just limited to a lover or partner. Any person who RESONATES with you and your sharing, your thoughts, your level of awareness is a Soulmate. So it may happen that someone in your family can be your Soulmate. It can be your Father, or your Mother or your Sister or your Brother or it can be just someone whom you never met in person but still you CONNECT with HIS or HER thoughts and share. Basically, SOULMATE is that person with whom you feel very comfortable, very relaxed, and with whom you open up completely as if you are not sharing with someone else but sharing with yourself! This is because when you connect with him or her – it is a heart-to-heart connection – there is no hesitation in sharing – in expressing yourself in totality.

If you ask Me – then the greatest SOULMATE is none other than the Guru — the benevolent master. When you CONNECT with the master — no words are needed — in Silence everything happens — everything is shared and transferred in blissful Silence. Real communication always happens in Silence, deep blissful silence. Through the silence of the Guru – the disciple is guided into his own heart, through the silence of the Guru – the disciple is able to find the source of his Ego. In the beginning, the disciple will become silent, and enter for a short in the same state in which his master permanently rests. In this state, he finally experiences his own true nature. In this silence, he starts to understand the truth. This is what is known as the Heart to Heart instruction.

“The highest instruction is transmitted in silence.”- RAMANA MAHARISHI

On one occasion – Bhagavan Ramana Maharishi mentions a great spiritual Yogi who appears very young and is instructing HIS disciples in deep silence. Bhagavan writes:

“Who is the youthful guru beneath the banyan tree?

Very old are the pupils who seek him.

The handsome teacher’s speech is silence.

Cleared are all the pupils’ doubts.

Under the wonderful banyan tree shines the youthful

guru. Aged pupils come to him. Silence is this teacher’s

speech. Gone are the doubts in the pupils’ minds.”

This youthful guru that the Bhagavan mentions in his writing resembles Mahavatar Babaji since Mahavatar Babaji appears very young though HE is thousand years old!

The state of understanding everything without the need of uttering a single word – is the state of ONENESS – and when you experience such a ONENESS with any person – then that person becomes your SOUL MATE. That is why to become a good disciple – first, you have to become a good lover – because it is only in the state of deep love that you can connect without speaking, without uttering a single word. That is why it is said that the greatest lover has become the greatest disciples – the greatest masters!

“No love as as total as the love that happens between the master and the disciple. The love that happened between John and Jesus, the love that happened between Sariputta and Buddha, Gautama and Mahavira, Arjuna and Krishna, Chang Tzu and Lao Tzu – there are the real love stories, the highest pinnacles of love.”
– Osho

The highest pinnacles of love happen only when you are able to move beyond your mind – and this ability comes only through the source and the blessings of Sri Ketu.

When it comes to KETU’s soulmate – there are only four planets that resonate with the depth of KETU. And those four planets are as follows:

  1. Jupiter – Since Jupiter is the GURU of KETU. Jupiter also rules Sagittarius and as you all know – MOOLA – the fieriest and highly spiritual Nakshatra dwells in the Jupiterian sign of Sagittarius. Jupiter represents DHARMA and Ketu is a staunch follower of DHARMA.
  2. Sun – Since Sun is hot by nature and also celibate by birth. Ketu loves celibacy. That is why the greatest spiritual masters have always been celibate from birth. Brahmacharya or Celibacy is very dear to Sun as well as to KETU. That is why LEO the sign of SUN contains Magha Nakshatra – the Nakshatra of KETU.
  3. Mars – Since Mars is too hot by nature but at the same time – Mars is also a great warrior. Ketu loves to master the art of fighting – such as swordsmanship, archery, and so on. All great warriors had a strong Ketu – because when you fight on the battlefield – you have to keep your mind aside – you have to fight by going beyond the mind and so Ketu becomes extremally important for military officers and commanders-in-chief. The very first Nakshatra of Ketu – Ashwini dwells in the Martian sign of Aries – so the connection between Mars and Ketu is very deep – in fact Mars and Ketu – both also come under the direct influence of Lord Kartikeya and Lord Ganesha and as we all know – both were brothers. They are the sons of Shiva – the supreme consciousness.

So I have revealed the three soulmates of KETU – JUPITER, SUN, and MARS. However, who is the fourth soulmate of KETU?

And the answer is URANUS. Yes – my fellows – URANUS is the most intelligent, genius planet in our galaxy – and what CONNECTS Uranus with KETU is the ability to think beyond the mind – the ability to think out of the box. Crazy ideas come from Uranus and it is these crazy ideas that have given birth to a superpower country like America. America or the US is very much influenced by the power of URANUS. All modern technology and innovations have found their way through the land of America. Uranus rules all of these modern innovations and discoveries.

Sudden events, strange events, strange ideas, and deep thoughts and intensity is what the 8th house represents and Scorpio rules the 8th house. This Scorpio is home of Ketu and Uranus closely resonates with the matters of the 8th house and Scorpio sign. That is why Uranus is very powerful in the sign of Scorpio. If you observe closely – then you will find the facts that from 1980 to 1988 – the time when Uranus was transiting Scorpio was a time of great technological advancement and gave us new inventions like the personal computer, the artificial heart, DNA fingerprinting, and the Space Shuttle among many other things.

Genius, unconventional and unpredictable. These three words define the true essence of Uranus – the planet that I love the most. And Ketu is also a genius, but unconventional and unpredictable by nature.

The major difference between Rahu and Ketu is that Rahu traps you in the Mind while Ketu sets you free from the Mind. Uranus also operates in a crazy way that cannot be expressed within the four walls of the mind. And so this nature of operating beyond the mind – makes Uranus a soulmate of Ketu. If a person has Uranus and Ketu – together in his or her birth chart then it is a sign that the person is bound to go through many strange events that are beyond the imagination of the mind. This conjunction of Uranus and Ketu also brings certain unique talent in the native. The native can create something unique – something that would delight the whole world. Mark Zuckerberg – the man who founded Facebook has this conjunction – conjunction of Uranus and Ketu. And we all know that Facebook revolutionized the whole world. Such is the power of URANUS and KETU – because both are soulmates and when you have both together – then you have got a double-engine wheel that can get you a long way in your career.

The gemstone of Uranus is Alexandrite and the gemstone of Ketu is Alexandrite Cat’s eye. This is the higher version of the normal cat’s eyes that you get in the market. Both – Alexandrite and Alexandrite Cat’s eye are extremely rare to find gemstones and also very expensive. I will be making a detailed video on Alexandrite since this subject is very deep and extensive.

If you are KETUISH – then it is very natural for you to get attracted or pulled towards those who have more energy of Jupiter, Sun, Mars, or Uranus in their birth chart. But first, you have to find out if you are KETUISH.

How to find out if you are KETUISH?

When your Moon or Sun is in conjunction with Ketu or when you are born with Moon in Magha, Moola, or Ashwini Nakshatra then you are indeed a strong KETUISH person. And if that is the case then you will definitely find your soulmate who is KETUISH or has prominent Jupiter, Mars, Sun, or Uranus in his or her birth chart.

So how to find out the prominence of Jupiter, Mars, Sun, or Uranus in a person’s chart who can become your soulmate?

The answer is simple – the person should be born in the Nakshatra of Jupiter, Mars, Sun as well as all these three Nakshatra are placed in the Kendra house. Similarly, if Uranus is also placed in the Kendra or is in conjunction with Moon – then such a person can become your soulmate.

Basically – in nutshell – a person having the energies of Jupiter, Sun, Mars, and Uranus or either of these four can resonate with you and can become your soulmate.

As mentioned earlier soulmate is not just limited to being a lover. Any person – seen or unseen can become your soulmate – because the whole play is of the synergy between you and him or her.

When it comes specifically to finding a soulmate with whom you want to engage in a love relationship then always remember – the real soulmate always makes you feel comfortable, relaxed, and calm.

” The Buddhists say if you meet somebody and your heart pounds, your hands shake, your knees go weak, that’s not the one. When you meet your ‘soulmate’ you’ll feel calm. No anxiety, no agitation.”
-Monica Draive

The very essence of Soulmate is in sync with the essence of Ketu. Ketu, therefore, is directly connected at the SOUL LEVEL. If KETU is your ATMAKARAKA then you are a person of a certain depth. Ketu as Atmakaraka is also a sign that you are KETUISH by nature. It is always good to have ATMAKARAKA that falls in the category of KETU’s soulmates – such as KETU himself, or Jupiter or Sun or Mars or Uranus provided your birth chart has a certain depth of quality to it – provided you are an evolved or evolving soul.

Astrology is spiritual in essence. That is why from ancient times – Astrology was taught only to selective individuals who have a certain quality of understanding, who have purity of heart, and who basically are meditative by nature. Astrology was not limited only to Brahmins or Kshatriyas – it was taught to all those who have the purity of heart and depth of understanding. Sage Valmiki who scripted the Holy Ramayana was not a Brahmin and still, he was well versed in Astrology. Sage Vyasa who scripted the Mahabharata was also born to a fisherwomen Satyavati. His father – Sage Parashara was a Brahmin but his mother was a fisherwoman. So the point is that during the old ancient times – Astrology was not taught based on caste but based on your merits and your potential.

In this universe – there have always been two groups – SURA and ASURA. Positive Good People and Negative Offending People. And so the positive good heart fellow connects with another positive good heart fellow while the negative offending fellow continues to connect with another negative offending fellow. So in both groups – each one finds his or her soulmate. Duryodhana was the Soulmate of Karna while Arjuna was the Soulmate of Krishna. Karna always walked on the path of ADHARMA – he tried to learn the art of archery from Sage Parshuram by appearing as a Brahmin when in reality he was NOT a Brahmin. And Parshuram had taken a vow that he would teach only to Brahmins because of his resentment towards the arrogant Kshatriyas. And so when Sage Parshuram learned that Karna had cheated him – he cursed Karna and that curse became the primary reason of his defeat in the Mahabharata war and it also became significant since the defeat of Karna led to the victory of the Pandavas.

So positive and negative – all kind of people find their soulmates – many times you may wonder why negative exists in this world? But the answer to your question is simple – to maintain a BALANCE – the negative is also essential along with the positive. It is necessary to remember that to generate electricity – you need both – negative and positive poles – similarly to run this universe – both continue to exist – the positive as well as the negative.

Based on your level of maturity and depending on how evolved your soul is – you will choose your soulmate. If you are the utterly negative and cheap fellow who comments to hurt others and who continues to cause much harm to every person you come across then you will attract exactly similar kind of person and if you are positive and an evolving soul then you will CONNECT with similar kind of positive good heart persons. It also happens that many times these NEGATIVE fellows try to APPEAR as positive and these are typical RAHUISH fellows because RAHU loves to disguise himself as GOOD – but if you are an evolved soul then you will quickly identify this kind of fake negative person and stay away from them.

I continue to keep my filters intact so that I entertain only those few whom I identify as good heart fellows – because this human world is a mixture of SALT and SUGAR and as the divine master says – one has to be very cautious in selecting the Sugar while ignoring the SALT meaning the negative fake offending people.

Enough for now – love to all my close followers – your love is reaching to me and the more you continue to connect with my sharing the more I can say – that you are definitely on the right path – the buddha path – the path that ultimately takes you towards the eternal garden of bliss.

Meditate every day and remember to ignore the negative people and focus on the Goodheart positive people in your life. Although there are many negative people in this world still the majority consists of positive people – we have to live for these positive people – we have to be with these positive people. So do not give up – because this human world is indeed a beautiful place to be.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Retrograde Mercury: What It Means

Always thinking differently – that is the very essence of Retrograde Mercury. However, whether this DIFFERENT thought pattern is positive or negative – depends solely on the house placement and overall state of Mercury Maharaj. If the placement of Mercury Maharaj is positive – then the native turns out to be a genius. His out-of-the-box thinking leads to many new inventions and discoveries. One fine example of Retrograde Mercury is Steve Jobs – the man who invented Apple computers and iPhone and iPads. However it is also necessary to remember that he was forced to leave the company – it is said that the primary reason was his differences with the company management. Differences of opinion is one major outcome of Retrograde Mercury person – he feels as if nobody can understand his point of view and so then either he has to leave or he is forced to leave.

During the 2016 elections – Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton “ Crooked Hillary” – interestingly Hillary Clinton has a Retrograde Mercury and she was tried for the infamous email controversy. During her tenure as United States Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton drew controversy by using a private email server for official public communications rather than using official State Department email accounts maintained on federal servers. It seems that Retrograde Mercury is placed in the second house of her birth chart. Corruption charges were levied against the Clinton Foundation. So many such scandalous clouds surround when Mercury is retrograde in your birth chart. If she would have become the US President then there was a possibility that she would have made many wrong decisions. Retrograde Mercury leads you to make wrong decisions or you simply end up making no decision – either way, life suffers because of being indecisive – a major outcome of Retrograde Mercury.

Retrograde Mercury can do something unusual in life. Julia Roberts – even though by birth is Christian – started following the great spiritual master – Neem Karoli Baba and eventually took to the Hindu faith. She changed the names of her 3 children by giving them Hindu names – Laxmi for Hazel, Ganesh for Phinnaeus, and Krishna Balram for Henry. So such drastic change in outlook towards life can happen with a positive Retrograde Mercury.

However, if the placement of Mercury Maharaj is not good and the overall chart belongs to a base level person – a person who abuses others through his or her negative comments – a person who goes on hurting others by his or her cheap shallow talk or a person who simply loves to harm others by indulging in the dirty act of black magic – then such a person with Retrograde Mercury causes much harm to the society – he may even become a terrorist or he may just become a nuisance to the society in general.

It all depends on the overall quality of the birth chart. There are many idiotic men and idiotic women on this forum who continue to hurt others by posting negative comments and by doing this they create a new cycle of BAD KARMA for themselves – such natives suffer a lot in life – they die in utter disappointments. And many of such kind of cheap shallow and so-called ‘intellectual’ natives have an afflicted Mercury or Retrograde Mercury in a very bad state. One should stay away from such natives as they are dangerous and can cause much harm and pain to you. Always remember – MONEY – is NOT the criteria to judge a person’s level of understanding. I meet almost many men and women who have tons of money in their bank accounts and yet if you ask me – they are the most idiotic people I have ever met! Of course when I meet them I smile – but within I pity them for their utter ignorant life.

Retrograde Mercury – good or bad – the native is difficult to deal with. Because even though his or her intentions are good – they just can’t think and respond in a normal way. In our Indian television – there was an advertisement for the snack called “Kurkure” – their punch line was “THEDHA HAI PAR MERA HAI”. It means “He is crooked but still he is mine.”

So is the case with Retrograde Mercury – in negative scenarios – these natives are very shrewd and also crooked – and so in Politics or in Board Games, they do extremely well.

Retrograde Mercury in a birth chart with Ascendant Gemini, Libra or Aquarius is a highly intellectual person. Does well in IT industry or in news media.

Often these natives are perceived as Mad – because they can do the unimaginable. Do you remember the scene from the movie “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” – the Hero is determined to enter Pakistan by crossing the Indian borders and that too without a Pakistani Visa! And when the Pakistani Soldiers stop him and ask him to return back to Indian territory – he denies and innocently tells the Pakistani soldiers that he has crossed the borders just so that he can help the little Pakistani girl find her lost parents based in Pakistan! Listening to this – the Pakistani soldiers make fun of him and say that he is not mad but FULL MAD. This is how RETROGRADE MERCURY is – FULL MAD. But even this full madness is adorable when the intention behind this madness is GOOD. And so the Pakistani soldiers let him have his way. Actually when I watched the Pakistani Soldiers saying “yeh to Pura paagal hai” (“he is full mad”) – I had a good laugh – it was such a beautiful scene depicting the innocence of a man who is determined to help the lost Pakistani girl find her parents! I laughed as well as my eyes became wet. Beautiful. And so MADNESS is not bad – MADNESS is good as long as it serves a good purpose. And Retrograde Mercury is also good as long as it serves a good purpose.

“There is no greatness without some touch of madness.”

It reminds me of a beautiful story – the story of one such mad man and his name was Mojud. He lived in a town where he had obtained a post as a small official, and it seemed likely that he would end his days as Inspector of weights and measures.

One day when he was walking through the gardens of an ancient building near his home, Khidr, the mysterious guide of the Sufis, appeared to him, dressed in shimmering green. Khidr said, “Man of bright prospects! Leave your work and meet me at the riverside in three days’ time.” then he disappeared.

Mojud went to his superior in trepidation and said that he had to leave. Everyone in the town soon heard of this and they said, “poor Mojud! He has gone mad.” but, as there were many candidates for his job, they soon forgot him.

On the appointed day, Mojud met Khidr, who said to him, “Tear your clothes and throw yourself into the stream. Perhaps someone will save you.”

Mojud did so, even though he wondered if he were mad.

Since he could swim, he did not drown, but drifted a long way before a fisherman hauled him into his boat, saying, “foolish man! The current is strong. What are you trying to do?” Mojud said, “I don’t really know.”

“You are mad,” said the fisherman, “but I will take you into my reed-hut by the river yonder, and we shall see what can be done for you.”

When he discovered that Mojud was well-spoken, he learned from him how to read and write. In exchange, Mojud was given food and helped the fisherman with his work. After a few months, Khidr again appeared, this time at the foot of Mojud’s bed, and said, “Get up now and leave this fisherman. You will be provided for.”

Mojud immediately quit the hut, dressed as a fisherman, and wandered about until he came to a highway.

As dawn was breaking he saw a farmer on a donkey on his way to the market. “Do you seek work?” asked the farmer, “because I need a man to help me bring back some purchases.”

Mojud followed him. He worked for the farmer for nearly two years, by which time he had learned a great deal about agriculture but little else.

One afternoon when he was baling wool, Khidr appeared to him and said, “Leave that work, walk to the city of Mosul, and use your savings to become a skin-merchant.”

Mojud obeyed.

In Mosul he became known as a skin-merchant, never seeing Khidr while he plied his trade for three years. He had saved quite a large sum of money, and was thinking of buying a house, when Khidr appeared and said, “Give me your money, walk out of this town as far as the distant Samarkand, and work for a grocer there.”

Mojud did so.

Presently he began to show undoubted signs of illumination. He healed the sick, served his fellow man in the shop during his spare time, and his knowledge of the mysteries became deeper and deeper.

Clerics, philosophers and others visited him and asked, “Under whom did you study?”

“It is difficult to say,” said Mojud.

His disciples asked, “How did you start your career?”

He said, “As a small official.” “And you gave it up to devote yourself to self-mortification?”

“No, I just gave it up.” they did not understand him.

People approached him to write the story of his life.

“What have you been in your life?” they asked.

“I jumped into a river, became a fisherman, and then walked out of his reed-hut in the middle of the night. After that, I became a farmhand. While I was baling wool, I changed and went to Mosul, where I became a skin merchant. I saved some money there but gave it away. Then I walked to Samarkand where I worked for a grocer. And this is where I am now.”

“But this inexplicable behavior throws no light upon your strange gifts and wonderful examples,” said the biographers.

“That is so,” said Mojud.

So the biographers constructed for Mojud a wonderful and exciting story: because all saints must have their story and the story must be in accordance with the appetite of the listener, not with the realities of life. And this is the real life of one of the greatest Sufis.

Mojud became a great Sufi Saint and much credit goes to his madness – which enabled him to take all kinds of risks – whenever Khidr used to appear and ORDER – Mojud used to follow the ORDERS – he never thought before jumping into the unknown and this courage led him to many spiritual experiences. Courage comes from madness – when you are madly in love with your country – you will not hesitate to fight till the very end of your life. That is how madness is necessary – only a MAD man can do that which nobody else can do and that is why only a MAD man can achieve that which nobody else can achieve. Avatar Meher Baba was fond of mad people – he always was in search of mad people – because he was aware that a mad man is already out of his mind but unconsciously – he just needs proper guidance and then he can come out of his mind but this time consciously. Your so-called sane people are too much caught in their minds – they will take more time than a mad man.

Retrograde mercury is like a deadly knife – if put to good use – it can create the greatest wonders that the world had ever known. And if put to bad use – then they can destroy the whole world. Basically, it is a power-packed horse – that needs a good jockey. This ‘jockey’ is your awareness – so depending on the level of awareness that a soul had brought from his or her previous birth – this Retrograde Mercury will fructify.

Retrograde Mercury in the 6th house – 8th house and 12th house is NOT bad. However, if Retrograde Mercury associates with the 6th, 8th, or 12th house lord then it is a problem. Then such a person may not have the capability to think positively. So it all depends on the associations that such a Retrograde Mercury enjoys in your birth chart. Bad house associations will lead to bad results and good house associations will lead to good results.

One of the best outcomes is when Jupiter casts its 5th, 7th or 9th Drishti on Retrograde Mercury. Then such a Retrograde Mercury gets the support of the MASTER and then the native does extremely well in his or her life. The Association of Jupiter with Mercury is a good sign – signify a well-balanced sorted person. However, the WORST outcome is when RETROGRADE MERCURY associates with RAHU. Such a person is toxic – especially if his horoscope is poor in quality.

Retrograde Mercury with Ketu is also a very unfortunate sign. Retrograde Mercury is not in its normal state and on top of that KETU’s association nullifies the good qualities of mercury. Logic, Intellectuality, and overall communication abilities suffer because of such an association.

Association of Retrograde Mercury with Sun is also a bad sign since Mercury goes in a combust (ASTA) state and the native is forced to face certain unwanted situations related to money, legal disputes and misunderstandings in relationships.

Venus with Retrograde Mercury is a good sign provided Venus is not afflicted in the birth chart. Such a person is creative and can create something unique for which he or she will be remembered by society. Many actors and actresses have Retrograde Mercury – Julia Roberts is just one fine example of Retrograde Mercury.

Overall – Retrograde Mercury is a sign of confusion, complexities, and complications – however – it also gives the capabilities to deal with complex situations – hi-end architectural designs, great strategies and mainly provides the tendency to think out of the box – which leads to many new ideas, inventions and unique creations.

And so it all depends on where and what state Retrograde Mercury is – if the state is good – the outcome is good – and if the state is bad – the outcome is bad. A ‘sharp knife’ can help you cut vegetables while the same ‘sharp knife’ can become a weapon to harm innocent men – so it all depends on WHO uses the knife. This WHO is consciousness, awareness. If the person is born with a certain higher level of awareness then he can do wonders with such a sharp knife – Retrograde Mercury. Otherwise, a cheap, abusive, ignorant person will simply cause much harm to society with such a Retrograde Mercury.

If a plain stone falls in a ‘temple’ or a ‘shrine’ – then even that plain stone someday becomes a holy stone! And if the same plain stone falls in the graveyard – then someday it is used while digging the graveyard. So it all depends on where the stone falls – similarly, it all depends on what kind of horoscope – Retrograde Mercury falls!

And this all is based on your past karma. The more you hurt others by your comments and your actions – the more you will fall into the dark spaces of the graveyard. And the more you bring smiles on others faces – the more you will be destined to fall into a beautiful divine temple!

Decide which way you want to go – what you choose is what you become.

Love to all my listeners and close followers. Remember to meditate and chant every day.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Who Are the Perfect Masters?

Avatar Meher Baba identifies the 5 Perfect Masters of HIS times – here is a brief introduction of the 5 great spiritual masters. I humbly prostrate before all the five masters as I share the many insightful moments of their life…..

1. HAZRAT BABAJAN

A beautiful picture of Hazrat Babajan – the Emperor – the Messiah whose grace and love – is still experienced by many devotees who visit her Dargah (shrine). It is not only the men who have attained the peak of enlightenment but also several women — who have revolutionized the world with their divine message. One of them is Hazrat Babajan. She was born in Baluchistan. Her birth name was “GULRUKH” (which means “Face like a Rose”). She was born to a Royal Muslim Family of Baluchistan. Following the conventions of Afghan nobility, Babajan was reared under the strict purdah tradition, in which women were secluded from the outside world, and also subject to a custom of arranged marriages. She opposed an unwelcome marriage planned for her, and ran away from home on her wedding day at the age of eighteen. Disguised in her burqa, she journeyed to Peshawar, the frontier city at the foot of the Khyber Pass. It was in or near Peshawar that she eventually came into contact with a Hindu sadguru. Following instruction from the guru, “she went into seclusion in a nearby mountain outside Rawalpindi and underwent very severe [riyazat] (spiritual austerities) for nearly seventeen months.Thereafter she came down to [the] Punjab and stayed a few months in Multan. It was in Multan, while [Babajan] was 37 years of age, she contacted a Muslim saint … who put end to her spiritual struggle by giving her God-realization.”

After that experience she returned to Rawalpindi to reconnect with the Hindu guru who, after several years, helped her return to normal consciousness. After a second stay in Rawalpindi with her earlier Hindu master, Babajan embarked on several long journeys through the Middle Eastern countries Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq. “It is said that she traveled to Mecca disguised as a man [apparently to avoid detection] by way of Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey and doubling back into Arabia.” At the Kaaba, she offered salat (prayers) five times a day, always sitting at one selected spot. While in Mecca, Babajan often gathered food for the poor and personally nursed pilgrims who had fallen ill. From Mecca, Babajan made pilgrimage to the tomb of the Islamic prophet Muhammad in Medina, where she adopted the same routine of offering prayers and caring for fellow pilgrims. Leaving Arabia, she passed through Baghdad, Iraq and back to the Punjab. She then traveled south to Nasik and established herself in Panchavati. From Nasik, Babajan travelled to Bombay, where she stayed for some time and her fame grew. In April 1903, she made a second pilgrimage to Mecca, this time sailing from Bombay on the SS Haidari. About 1904, Babajan returned to Bombay and soon afterward proceeded to Ajmer in northern India to pay homage at the tomb of the Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti who established the Chishti Order of Islam in India. From Ajmer she again returned to Bombay and then soon after traveled east to Pune. By 1905 Babajan arrived in Pune, where she established her final residence. Now an old woman, her back slightly bent, shoulders rounded, with white matted hair, and shabbily dressed, she “was seen sitting or resting at odd places, in different parts of the City.” Babajan finally located to a slum area called Char Bawdi (Four Wells) on Malcolm Tank Road, part of a British Army cantonment. The Char Bawdi area at that time has been described as “a picture of dirt, desolation and ugliness, a breeding spot of plague and pestilence and a regular haunt of dangerous riff-raffs by night.” After several months’ exposure to the natural elements, Babajan grudgingly allowed her devotees to build a basic shelter of gunny sacks above her. Children were in the habit of throwing stones at her. She was a homeless faqir; she knew how they lived. The gifts from her devotees were shared among the poor and destitute, and in some instances stolen from her by thieves.[19] She remained indifferent to the material offerings or the loss. Gradually, out of devotion, or mere curiosity, increasing numbers of people from Pune and elsewhere sought her out. Several alleged miracles have been attributed to Babajan. According to one observer, within a decade of Babajan taking residence “the Char Bawdi locality underwent a metamorphosis surpassing all expectations. What with the featural changes in the buildings all around, electrified tea-shops ringing with the clatter of cups and saucers, a concourse of peoples consisting of all ranks and creeds waiting for Babajan’s darshan, a street bard entertaining the crowd with his music, the beggars clamoring for alms, easy-going idlers standing indiscriminately hampering vehicular traffic and the whole atmosphere heavily laden with sweet burning incense perpetually kept burning near Babajan, presented a scene typically Eastern, leaving an indelible impression on one’s memory.” That is how the presence of a great master can transform an utterly deserted area into the most beautiful area of the town. And that is how a true master can transform a sinner into a saint – a mad man into an enlightened being. On 21st September 1931, one of the greatest saint – Her Holiness and the perfect Master Hazarat Babajan left her mortal body. She died. And when she died, Babajan said, “It is time … time for me to leave now. The work is over … I must close the shop.” One of the devotees pleaded, “Do not say such things Babajan, we need you with us.”

But she cryptically replied, “Nobody, nobody wants my wares. Nobody can afford the price. I have turned my goods over to the Proprietor.”

Today – Hazarat Babajan’s Dargah (shrine) is located at the same place where she spend most of her days – in Camp locality – the very heart of Pune city. However before leaving her body – she has transferred her great powers and blessings to one young man and His name was Merwan Sheriar Irani, a Parsi young boy who must have been 19 years old at that time when he met Babajan for the first time. It happened so that was riding his bicycle on the way to class at Deccan College, when he looked up and saw an old woman sitting under a neem tree surrounded by a crowd. He had past from the same road on previous occasions but had never paid much attention to her, though he was aware that she was regarded by some as a Muslim saint. Soon he started visiting her. they would sit together yet seldom spoke. One night during January 1914, he was about to leave, and before doing so kissed Babajan’s hands, and she in turn held his face in her hands. She then kissed him on the forehead, during which he received her spiritual grace (barakah). The event subsequently left Merwan Irani in a state of coma in which he remained abstracted from his normal surroundings for nearly nine months. This young man Merwan Sheriar Irani later became known as Avtar Meher Baba. For one year continuously the kiss remained on him and he was in a coma. It may happen suddenly like this. This was a great transfer, and Hazrat Babajan died afterward because she had just been waiting for this moment to give someone the whole energy. This was her last life, and there was not enough time even to explain what she was giving. And also, she was not the type to have explained. She was a silent mystic. She had not touched anybody for years. She was only waiting for this moment when she was to kiss someone and the whole energy was to be transferred in a single transfer. Before this, she had not even touched anyone, so this touch was to be total. When the divine touch – when the realization – when the enlightenment happens – all actions stop. Because desires no more exist. Many desires will drop and many actions also. Those actions which were just caused by desires will drop. If I was running for a particular desire, how can I run if the desire has dropped? My running will stop. At least the same running on the same route will stop. So when a person becomes desireless, at least for an interim period, for an interval – and how long it will be will depend on the individual – he will become inactive. The desires will have dropped – and all the actions that he had been doing were concerned with desires, so how can he continue? They will drop. One may also go into a coma. That is how Meher Baba – with that divine touch of Hazrat Babajan – went into a coma – because all desires vanished with that one divine kiss – and when there is absolutely NO DESIRE – there is NO ACTION – you almost go into a deep sleep to which the world may address as Coma! After one year of coma, Meher Baba opens his eyes – his eyes are the same but now his perspective towards life has changed – everything around him is the same – but he is no more the same – great spiritual energy – a great light has come to his heart – the transferring has happened – spontaneously – with just one divine kiss – the Hazarat has passed on her ‘self’ to Meher Baba – how deep must be the love between them – how deep must be the connection of many past lives between them! Hazarat Babajan left but before leaving she gave the greatest gift to humanity in the form of Avatar Meher Baba. Meher Baba – the man who revolutionized the whole world – traveled around the world – and transformed many mad men into enlightened beings.

2. Upasani Maharaj

A beautiful real picture of Sri Upasani Maharaj. It is said that it is Upasani Maharaj who greeted Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi by addressing him as Mahatma and from that day onwards – Mohandas Gandhi came to be known as Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi himself revealed this fact to Avtar Meher Baba when he had met Baba. In fact Mahatma Gandhi was so deeply touched by the divine presence of Avatar Meher Baba that at one point he expressed his wish to renounce from Politics.

Upasani Maharaj was born on 15 May 1870 in a small town called Sakori. And he was the only DIRECT DISCIPLE of SAI BABA of SHIRDI. Sakori is just 5 km away from Shirdi. The story of Upasani Maharaj’s life is very interesting and highly inspiring. He was born in into a family of Sanskrit scholars. He became an Ayurvedic Doctor. And he married three times but all his wive died. Soon he started to hear a singing voice that he could not explain. This troubling sound, along with various other problems, led him on a difficult quest that finally culminated in him meeting Sai Baba of Shirdi who is said to have given him God-realization at the age of 42. Sai Baba then claimed to be the one who was calling him inwardly.

The primary teachings of Upasani Maharaj were:

The principal teaching of Upasni Maharaj was that there are three rules that if observed sincerely lead to a life worth living:

  • Not to trouble anybody in the least.
  • To suffer for and be useful to others.
  • To remain contented in a state of Be as it may.

Upasni Maharaj was the principal teacher of Meher Baba. Meher Baba first met Upasni Maharaj in 1915 when Upasni was staying in Shirdi with Sai Baba. Upasni moved to Sakori in July 1917 and Meher Baba frequently stayed there as late as October 1922. According to Meher Baba, Upasni Maharaj gave him divine knowledge after he received God-realization in January 1914 at the age of 19 from Hazrat Babajan. Charles Purdom recounts that, at the end of December, 1921, Upasni made several comments relating to Meher Baba. He said to his disciples: “I have given my charge to Meherwanji. He is the holder of my key.” Some time later he said “This boy will move the world. Humanity at large will be benefited at his hands.” A few days later he sent for Gustadji Hansotia, one of his leading disciples, and told him “I have made Meherwanji perfect. He is the Sadguru of this Age. Now you have to leave me and stick to him.” To Behramji he said, “Your friend is God-realized; carry out every command and every desire of his.” Finally, one night he folded his hands and said, “Meherwanji, you are adi-shakti: you are Avatar.”

Imagine a direct disciple of SAI BABA saying to Avatar Meher Baba that – YOU ARE AVATAR.

Moves my heart. So deep so deep.

It is said that just two months before Upasani Maharaj died – Meher Baba met him – it was a meeting that happened after a gap of twenty years. A beautiful picture of Avtar Meher Baba walking with the Perfect Master and direct disciple of Sai Baba – Sri Upasani Maharaj.

3. Tajuddin Baba

Tajuddin Baba – is the third Perfect Master as mentioned by Avatar Meher Baba. Tajuddin Baba was born as Syed Mohammad Baba Tajuddin. He was born on January 27, 1861. Baba’s forefathers had migrated from Mecca and settled down in Madras, India. His father was an employee in military. His ancestors were descendants of the eleventh Imam. Baba Tajuddin became an orphan at a young age and so he was raised by his maternal grandmother and uncle Abdul Rahman. Soon he met Abdulla Shah Naushahi who initiated him into the spiritual path. It is said that one day Abdulla Shah Naushahi one day said to his school teacher that “There is no need of teaching this boy, he is already a learned person.” He also gave young Tajuddin Baba some dried fruits and nuts as his blessings for Baba, which is said to put the young boy into an ongoing spiritual trance-like state. Baba completed his education and studied Urdu, English, Arabic and Persian. Baba was highly educated person and at the same time he was one of the greatest master that the world had ever known.

However it is an irony that this Perfect Master was declared a lunatic and kept in confinement in the Nagpur Lunatic Asylum for more than sixteen years. However, Baba Tajuddin started his divine play from this place and virtually converted the asylum to a place of worship. This is one of the biggest illusions of Nature (Maya) the mad people of the mad world declaring the Knowledge- Incarnate, who had come to redeem them of their worldly madness, as mad. But how could the authorities, confine a soul that is in a state of pure consciousness within the four walls of a lunatic asylum. As was the practice, the inhabitants of the asylum used to be locked up in barracks and cells at night. Similarly, Baba was also put in confinement under strict vigil.

Soon after he was locked up in the asylum that a strange incident took place that spread Baba’s name far and wide. Baba was admitted in the lunatic asylum on the 26th August 1892. On the same day many people saw him moving freely in the streets of Kamthi, even after he was locked up. On the next day i.e. 27th an army sepoy, who, under the orders of the magistrate had brought Baba to the lunatic asylum the previous day, saw Baba roaming in the street. The shocked sepoy ran back and informed the British officer of the regiment, about it. The officer immediately rode his horse and searched for Baba. He ultimately found him sitting under a tree smiling at him. British officer was so enraged at seeing him moving freely that he straight away rode to the lunatic asylum at Nagpur situated at half an hour distance from Kamthi. He asked the doctor on duty “Where is that insane whom I sent here yesterday?” The doctor informed that he was in a locked room and also showed the officer where Baba was locked, and behold, the officer found the Baba Tajuddin was sitting inside the room in the same posture in which he had seen sitting under the tree only half on hour back smiling at him. On seeing the officer, Baba said. ” Brother, you are doing your work and I am doing my work”. The officer was so influenced by the divine personality of Baba that he instantly became his disciple and started visiting Baba on every Sunday with his family members. Thereafter, the asylum authorities were reconciled with Baba moving at various places inside the asylum compound and outside. Gradually, Baba’s name became so famous that thousands of people from near and far started lining up before the lunatic asylum everyday to have Baba’s darshan, blessing and help.

During his 16 years stay in the asylum, Baba cured thousands of people of diseases , granted children to the childless and took on his shoulders the responsibilities (both temporal and spiritual) of lakhs of his devotees. Baba’s fame and love for people had been drawing thousands of people daily to the lunatic asylum. Even the staffs of the asylum including the doctors were his devotees.

The doctor gave report that Baba was not mad but a person of unusual qualities which medical science cannot explain. In the meantime, Maharaja Bahadur Shrimant Raghoji Rao Bhonsle, the Maharaja of Nagpur had become an ardent devotee of Baba and started visiting him regularly. One day, in the evening, he thought of getting Baba released from the lunatic asylum and bring him to his palace at Shakardara. The same night, he saw a vision in the dream in which Baba appeared and pointing towards Red Palace said “Oh, elder brother, let me stay here.” It was early morning- (3.00 AM) of 9th July 1908, a Thursday. The Maharaja immediately called his officials and discussed about the steps to be taken to get Baba released. The Council decided that the Maharaja should immediately make an application for release to the Governor, Central Provinces. Ultimately after depositing a security money of rupees two thousands, the Maharaja secured the release of Baba on the 21st of September 1908 and brought him to his palace. From his palace Baba started his divine work.

Once Baba was lying down on the sands of the river Kanhan when two ladies by the name of Shantabai and Subhadrabai from Amaravati, approached him. While touching the feet of Baba they mentally prayed to him for children, as they were childless. The omniscient (Pragyan Ritambhara) Baba heard their inner prayers and gave a ladoo (a type of sweetmeat) to each after testing them. He blessed them to have sons. While they were returning, Shantabai ate the ladoo as a blessed prasad, but Subhadrabai did not because Baba had tasted the ladoo and was Muslim by birth. She quietly got the ladoo buried in the sand. As the Divine Will could have it, Shantabai got a son nine months later. When the child was about two-month-old, she came to Baba with the child for his blessings. Subhadra, who had not conceived even by that time, accompanied her. When Shantabai put her child at the feet of Baba, Subhadra could not control herself. She fell at the feet of Baba and cried -“Baba where is my child?” Baba told her to search the child from beneath the sand (indicating that he knew where the ladoo was) Subhadra immediately realised her mistake and repented profusely before Baba. The Perfect masters are incarnation of kindness. Her repentance and plight moved Baba. He blessed her to have a son, which she got after a year. The perfect master is a wish- fulfilling tree Kalpvriksha who even shower unconditional grace (Ahetuk Kripa). Tajjudin Baba lifted his hand as blessing to all, looking at them lovingly and quietly laid his body on the bed.

4. Sai Baba

The Fourth PERFECT MASTER as stated by AVATAR MEHER BABA is SAI BABA of SHIRDI.One of the most beautiful persons of this past century was Sai Baba of Shirdi. He had a friend and a follower. Sai Baba was a Mohammedan. Or no one knows whether he was a Mohammedan or a Hindu, but he lived in a mosque, so it was believed he was a Mohammedan. And a Hindu follower was there, who loved, respected, has much faith in Sai Baba. Every day he will come for his darshan, and without seeing him he will not go. Sometimes it will happen that for the whole day he will have to wait, but without seeing he will not go, and he will not take food unless he has seen Sai Baba.

Once it happened the whole day passed, there was much gathering and much crowd — he couldn’t enter. When everybody has gone, just in the night he touched the feet.

Sai Baba said to him, “Why you unnecessarily wait? There is no need to see me here, I can come there. And drop this from tomorrow. Now I will do. Before you take your food you will see me every day.”

The disciple was very happy. So next day he was waiting and waiting; nothing happened. Many things happened really, but nothing happened according to his conception. By the evening he was very angry. He has not taken the food, and Sai Baba has not appeared so he went again. He said, “You promise and you don’t fulfill?”

Sai Baba said, “But I appeared thrice, not even once. First time I came, I was a beggar and you said to me, ‘Move away! Don’t come here!’ Second time I came I was an old woman, and you just won’t look at me; you closed your eyes-because the disciple had the habit of not seeing women; he was practicing not seeing women, so he closed the eyes.

Sai Baba said, “I had come, but what do you expect? Should I enter your eyes, closed eyes? I was standing there, but you closed the eyes. The moment you saw me, you closed the eyes. Then third time I reached as a dog, and you won’t allow me in. With a stick you were standing in the door.”

And these three things had happened. And these things have been happening to whole humanity. The divine comes in many forms, but you have a prejudice; you have a pre-formulated conception; you cannot see. He must appear according to you, and he never appears according to you. And he will never appear according to you. You cannot be the rule for him and you cannot put any conditions.

When all imagination falls, only then truth appears. Otherwise, imagination goes on making conditions and truth cannot appear. Only in a naked mind, in a nude, empty mind, truth appears, because you cannot distort it.

My father was deeply devoted to Sai Baba. Incidently – he never had been to Shirdi but one night Sai Baba came in his dream and said “Come to Shirdi, and visit Lendi Baug.” This happened in the year 1989. Those times life was not as fast as it is now. My father wondered if there is any place called Lendi Baug in Shirdi as he had never been to Shirdi. And by the GRACE of Sai Baba – he soon was able to visit Shirdi and he was touched to find out that there is a place called Lendi Baug in Shirdi! My father served by working as Editor in Chief for the Sai Leela Magazine that was published by the Sai Baba Trustee. Before dying at the age of 47 – he had visited Shirdi. I still remember that day – it was 5th March 1995. I was with him – and then on 6th March 1995 when we returned back to Pune – he died of massive heart attack. In a way it was a message of Sai – that your time is over – it is time to come back home.

5. Narayan Maharaj

The fifth perfect master as stated by Avatar Meher Baba is Narayan Maharaj. Narayan was born in a Deshastha Brahmin family in Nargund in the Indian state of Karnataka. His father died when he was just 14 months old and his mother when he was four. He was then cared for by his grandmother. He soon left home due to family quarrels, eventually seeking solitude in a Shiva temple. Later, on the advice of a saint, he went to Gangapur for about 10 months, and achieved enlightenment.

As a sadguru he traveled to many religious places including Varanasi, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Nepal, Omkareshwar, Mahakaleshwar, Rameshwar, Madurai, Chidambaram, Kanchipuram, Tirupathi, Ramakrishna Ashram, Calcutta, Bangalore, Mysore, Dwarka, Somnath and Mahabaleshwar.

Narayan often dressed lavishly and lived in a palace; he even had a silver throne. However, it is said that he was unselfish and that his compound gave continually to the poor. His motto was “Treat every one as God.”

Meher Baba contacted Narayan Maharaj in 1915 in his youth and later said that Narayan was one of the Five Perfect Masters of his time.

Narayan’s samadhi (tomb shrine) is in Bangalore, India. From 1942 onward, he was seen having frequent health problems and he decided to move to Ottacmond Ooty of Tamil Nadu. Finally, he came to Bangalore where he desired to perform an Ati Rudra Swahakar to Lord Mallikarjuna. Lavish arrangements were made by the State of Mysore for this occasion, and it was attended by nearly 100,000 people. After the Maha Pooja, he gave a mantra to the devotees present, and retired to his chamber and sat in Padmasana and left his physical body, on 3 September 1945. When Maharaj dropped his body the State of Mysore provided an aircraft for his body to be taken to Bet, but later it was decided to provide nearly two acres of beautiful land near Kempambudi Lake at Bangalore where his mortal remains are kept at a Samadhi. Sri Bet Narayan Maharaj ashram and Brindavan are located in Gavi Gangadhareshwara circle.

Perfect Master is the English term Meher Baba began to use in his writing as early as 1925[1] to denote the Eastern idea of a sadguru (Vedanta) or a qutub (Sufism). A Perfect Master, according to Baba, is a God-realized person (one whose limited individualized consciousness has merged with God) who can use his Divine attributes of Infinite Power, Knowledge and Bliss for the spiritual upliftment of others.Meher Baba is unique among Indian teachers in that he said that the number of Perfect Masters on the Earth is exactly five at all times.[7] He said further that at the time of his own God-realization the five Perfect Masters were Sai Baba of Shirdi, Upasni Maharaj, Hazrat Babajan, Hazrat Tajuddin Baba and Narayan Maharaj and that these five brought him down to human consciousness as the Avatar on Earth in this cycle of time. “During the Avataric period, the five Perfect Masters make God incarnate as man.”[8] He also said, “What I am, what I was, and what I will be as the Ancient One is always due to the five Perfect Masters of the Age. Sai Baba, Upasni Maharaj, Babajan, Tajuddin Baba and Narayan Maharaj – these are the five Perfect Masters of this age for me.” Once it happened – when Meher Baba was on his visit to the US – just near his room – there was a woman standing and she was not willing to step ahead. ne of Baba’s disciples traveling with him, told her, “Come and shake hands with Baba, child.” Another disciple of Meher Baba said, “Why are you afraid, dear? Come nearer and meet Baba.”

The woman hesitated and said “How can I touch him?”

“Why not?” she replied. “All can meet Baba!”

This brought tears to her eyes, and she pitiably asked, “But I am a sinner! How can I touch a holy being like him?”

Baba then went to her, and passed his hand over her head and shoulders. She started weeping, and Baba gestured to her, “I am the purest of the pure. I can purify the worst sinner. You have understood your mistakes and acknowledged them faithfully in the presence of others, and so you are forgiven. This penance from the depths of your heart is adequate, and you are now cleansed. Now, don’t fear in the least and don’t repeat your past mistakes. I give you my blessings!” The girl burst into tears, and Baba lovingly embraced her. The tears which Baba had drawn from her heart wiped out all her sins.

Those who witnessed this were deeply moved; their hearts overflowed and their eyes also teared. Before departing, Baba again embraced all the guests and putting his hand on the girl’s head, consoled her, “You have received forgiveness for everything! Forget the past and don’t worry at all.” The girl pressed her eyes to Baba’s hand and kissed it. As Baba left, all eyes followed him.

Avtar Meher Baba was indeed one of the greatest spiritual master whose greatness cannot be expressed in words. I would go a step further and say that all the 5 perfect masters that he experienced in his stage of enlightenment are indeed found in his omnipresence. There is no need to visit all the 5 perfect masters – just by worshipping him – just by remembering His Holy Name one can receive the blessings of all 5 perfect masters.

The last word of Avatar Meher Baba was – Dont’ Worry. Be Happy.

I humbly prostrate before the most beautiful man who once walked on this planet – Avatar Meher Baba. May HIS blessings shower on Me and all my followers and listeners.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.
