🔢 Secret Numerology System of Ancient India

The Katapayadi Sankhya system is an ancient Indian numerical encoding method in which Sanskrit consonants are assigned numbers from 0 to 9, while vowels are ignored. This system was used extensively in astrology, classical music, mathematics, and spiritual literature to encode words and mantras into numerical vibrations.

Katapayadi Number Assignment Table

DigitConsonants (Devanagari / Transliteration)
1ka, Ta, pa, ya (क, ट, प, य)
2kha, Tha, pha, ra (ख, ठ, फ, र)
3ga, Da, ba, la (ग, ड, ब, ल)
4gha, Dha, bha, va (घ, ढ, भ, व)
5ṅa, ṇa, ma, sha (ङ, ण, म, श)
6ca, cha, ja, jha, ña (च, छ, ज, झ, ञ)
7Retroflex set – Ta, Tha, Da, Dha, ṇa
8ta, tha, da, dha, na (त, थ, द, ध, न)
9pa, pha, ba, bha, ma (प, फ, ब, भ, म)
0sha, Sha, sa, ha (श, ष, स, ह)

Note: Some consonants may fall under multiple digit categories depending on tradition or interpretation.

🖉 Sample Application: Addittya Tamhankar

Step 1: Extract consonants “Addittya Tamhankar” becomes: D, D, T, T, Y, T, M, H, N, K, R

Step 2: Assign values using the table

  • D = 8
  • T = 8
  • Y = 1
  • M = 5
  • H = 0
  • N = 8
  • K = 1
  • R = 2

Digit Sequence: 8 8 8 8 1 8 5 0 8 1 2
Sum: 8+8+8+8+1+8+5+0+8+1+2 = 57 → 5+7 = 12 → 1+2 = 3

Final Numerology Root: 3 (Jupiter)

So now when it comes to matching your name with your lover’s name, or when it comes to buying a specific mobile brand or car brand – you know how to do the mathematics! Nobody has ever revealed so much about this secret ancient Indian system but I thought to reveal it so that it can benefit all my readers and close followers.

The Secret Dasha Not Meant for Everyone – Ashtottari Mahadasha

A knife can slice a fruit or take a life—it all depends on how and why it’s used.
A magical chant can save someone from destruction, or it can destroy if wielded with harmful intent.

The truth is: power means nothing without the right context. And this wisdom holds true even in astrology.
Ashtottari Mahadasha—the Conditional Mahadasha—is not meant for everyone. It’s like a
hidden key that opens only specific doors in specific charts.

One day, Mohan curiously asked,

“What are the exact placements or situations where this mystical Mahadasha applies?”

And I replied,

“Ah… now you’re asking the right question. Let’s unlock the conditions that make Ashtottari Dasha not just applicable—but powerful.”

Condition 1: The Rahu Alignment

Rahu must be placed in a Kendra (1st, 4th, 7th, or 10th house) or Trikona (1st, 5th, or 9th house) from the Lagna Lord (the ruler of your Ascendant).

⚠️ But here’s the catch: Rahu should NOT be in the Lagna itself. That’s the one exception.

🌙 Condition 2: Moon’s Phase & Time of Birth

Your birth must occur either:

  • During daytime in Krishna Paksha (the waning phase of the Moon—from Full Moon to New Moon), OR
  • During nighttime in Shukla Paksha (the waxing phase—from New Moon to Full Moon).

✔️ Both of these conditions must be satisfied together.
Only then does Ashtottari Dasha become your true karmic timeline.

Mohan, intrigued, asked again:

“Is that all? Or is there a deeper layer?”

Absolutely, I replied. Based on over 20 years of practical experience, there’s a third doorway—one not commonly mentioned, yet equally valid.

🌌 Condition 3: The Rahu Nakshatra Mystery

If your Ascendant (Lagna) falls in Rahu’s Nakshatras—Ardra, Swati, or Shatabhisha—
AND you’re born during the daytime in Krishna Paksha,
👉 then Ashtottari Mahadasha becomes highly effective and should be applied with confidence.

This is a mystical shortcut that most software can’t detect—but your birth chart will whisper it to the wise astrologer.

Mohan’s curiosity now overflowed:

“So what’s the structure of this secret Dasha?”

And I said:

“Ah… now behold the rhythm of the Ashtottari Mahadasha cycle—spanning a unique 108-year journey of life’s unfolding.”

Ashtottari Mahadasha Sequence (108 Years Total):

PlanetDuration
☀️ Sun6 Years
🌙 Moon15 Years
🔥 Mars8 Years
🧠 Mercury17 Years
🪐 Saturn10 Years
📿 Jupiter19 Years
🌀 Rahu12 Years
💎 Venus21 Years

Each planetary period carries a karmic weight that feels different from the Vimshottari flow.
And in many cases, Ashtottari reveals the truth when other Dasha systems seem to falter.

In fact, many times, Vimshottari Dasha just doesn’t align—charts feel off, timelines feel wrong.
Astrologers then scramble:
“Let’s adjust the birth time! Try another Ayanamsha!”
But the secret is not in tweaking the surface—
It’s in knowing when to switch the lens to Ashtottari.

When applied rightly, Ashtottari brings clarity, precision, and power to astrological predictions—especially in Rahu-influenced charts.

Enough secrets for now. The stars will speak… when you know how to listen.
And that’s the beauty of Shravan Nakshatra – the good boy of our galaxy!
More to come on Shravan in my next episodes.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Rahu Mahadasha Solutions

RA is SUN. HU is the SHADOW. RA-HU is a state of being in which AWARENESS (SUN) is SHADOWED by INTENSE DESIRES that eventually cause IGNORANCE (RAHU). This IGNORANCE then leads to SELFISHNESS, SELFCENTEREDNESS leading to a man or woman who just crush all those who come between them and their DESIRES.

Too much self-centered attitude, you see, brings, you see, isolation. Result: loneliness, fear, anger. The extreme self-centered attitude is the source of suffering. – Dalai Lama

RAHU MAHADASHA becomes a period of HELL & SUFFERING when you become too much SELF-CENTERED. So the very first lesson that you should learn as soon as possible is:

To Become Less Selfish.

Yesterday Mohan said “My girlfriend has started chanting the name of Rahu – every morning and every night she continues to chant the name of RAHU. She is a RAHU BHAKT”

Now in this world – there are all kind of bhakts (devotees). Devotees who worship GOD as well as devotees who worship the DEVIL. Whosoever you worship, always remember you imbibe the qualities of the deity that you worship! If you start worshipping RAHU as Mohan’s girlfriend is doing, you will start becoming more and more RAHUISH.

I said to Mohan “Looks like you have to get ready for another break-up.”

Mohan said “I love her…and she also loves me.”

But LOVE has no place in the kingdom of RAHU. ONLY LUST, GREED, POLITICS, MANIPULATIONS, CHEATING, BACKSTABBING has place in the kingdom of RAHU. And by reciting RAHU’s mantra – Mohan’s girlfriend had entered into the kingdom of RAHU – soon she was going to change – soon she was going to become more desirous – more sexual – more greedy – more restless and one day she was going to dump our Mohan – leaving him with absolutely no clue!

Mohan denied to accept this prediction – but he will when it will happen!

As soon as RAHU MAHADASHA begins – people start chanting the MANTRA of RAHU. It is like as soon as you enter the valleys of Kashmir you start chanting the name of Terrorist. What is going to happen? The terrorist will come and cause more damage to you than otherwise!

But who wants to listen?

As soon as you come to know that RAHU is the cause of your misery – you start wearing a GOMED, Garnet (Rahu’s gemstone). And you start wearing it without even using your common sense! So many men and women have made their life miserable by wearing GOMED gemstone. Wearing a GOMED gemstone is empowering RAHU in your chart. By empowering RAHU – you are inviting more troubles in your life.

WHO SHOULD WEAR RAHU’GEMSTONE – GOMED (GARNET)?

Only those who have absolutely NOTHING to do with SIRITUALITY. Only those whose whole purpose of life is to earn MONEY by whatever means they can. Only those POWER HUNGRY politicians who are willing to do anything under the sky to grab the seat of power. Only those who cut the throats of others without hesitating (Underworld criminals). So you see RAHU’s gemstone is for a specific CATEGORY of people – a CATEGORY which has absolutely NO MORALS, NO ETHICS, NO PRINCIPALS. Their whole purpose of life is to EAT, DRINK, SLEEP and have lot of SEX. That’s all. In Indian context – these kind of people fall in the category of ASURAs – interestingly RAHU also was an ASURA!

The most interesting part of such RAHUISH men and women is that they never miss to visit the temple or church or mosque! IN fact maximum crowd that you see in temples consists of RAHUISH men and women. Because one who truly loves GOD – he or she doesn’t have to visit any temple or church. Majority of people who visit temples are hypocrites. And in these group of hypocrites – a large chunk of people belong to this RAHU CATEGORY – in fact NEVER consider a person as a SAINT because he or she visits temple – you should remember that along with many good people – even the most worst corrupted RAHUISH people (looters, murderers, gamblers, cheaters) also visit temples!

NEVER judge a person based on how many times he or she visits a place of worship – because in a temple – all kind of people come to temple – from criminals and sycophants’ to SAINTS!

A real genuine person will NEVER go on any pilgrimage – because he is perfectly aware that GOD is always around him – so why should he on pilgrimage to find GOD? That makes no sense!

I laugh when I hear that the fish in the water is thirsty. I laugh when I hear that people go on pilgrimage to find God. – Kabir

You don’t need to go anywhere – you don’t need to go to the Himalayas to experience God. Because GOD is NOT on the OUTSIDE – GOD dwells in your heart.

Saint Kabir – one of the greatest Saint says “I felt in need of a great pilgrimage, so I sat still for three days and God came to me.”

My fellows it is possible. For an evolved soul – for a meditative soul – it is very much possible – through deep meditation – he is able to STILL the mind and to a MIND that is STILL – the whole universe is available – what to say about GOD!

Only when the mind is still, tranquil, not expecting or grasping or resisting a single thing, is it possible to see what is true. It is the truth that liberates, not your effort to be free. – Jiddu Krishnamurti

RAHU targets your MIND. RAHU ensures that your mind continues to waver – but it is only your willpower, your persistence, your efforts and your Guru’s blessings that enables you to STILL the wavering mind!

How to STILL the wavering mind?

By chanting the holy mantra.

Gemstones are tools that slowly bring change in your body – and if this change is positive (provided you select a suitable gemstone) then this positive change simply boosts your capability to perform better in whatsoever you do! Then be it meditation, be it in relationship, be it your career – but this is how the whole essence of the matter is!

After a few months Mohan came on a hot afternoon and said “You were right. Today we had a breakup, she left me. But I was okay because you had already warned me and so I was mentally prepared. But now I have come to you with a different question. I would want to know – who should wear RAHU’s gemstone and what to do when RAHU MAHADASHA begins?.”

With time – Mohan was evolving, and I was happy to see him mature as a person. Looking at Mohan I said “You first have a glass of lemon juice, then I will answer your question.”

After taking two sips of lemon juice, Mohan looked fresh. I said to Mohan “Now that you are fresh, I will answer…I will share with you that which nobody has shared so openly – till date.”

Rahu is worldly by nature. All that happens on the outside is what interests Rahu. And that is how RAHUISH men and women are – always focused on the outside, always focused on others, always comparing themselves with others and all of this lead to jealousy, greed, lust, and most important – IGNORANCE.

Wearing RAHU’s gemstone, or by chanting RAHU’s mantra – you become more and more RAHUISH. Look what happened with your ex-girlfriend! The RAHU energy grew within her and then she started cheating on you – you were not even aware that on your back she was dating a new guy until you finally came to know and this breakup happened!

RAHU GEMSTONE ideally is for RAHUISH men and women – in other words for worldly men and women who are behind fame, wealth, and power. Now in the count of 100 – almost 99% people are behind fame, money, power so does it mean that all RAHUISH men and women can wear GOMED – the gemstone GARNET?

The answer is NO. Only those RAHUISH men ad RAHUISH women can wear GOMED – whose RAHU is in the following NAKSHATRA, HOUSE:

1. SWATI NAKSHATRA (3rd, 6th, 2nd, 7th house – )

2. ARDRA (3rd, 6th, 2nd, 7th house)

3. SHATABHISHA (3rd, 6th, 2nd, 7th house)

Mohan asked “What gemstone to wear when RAHU MAHADASHA begins?”

I said “The answer to your question will vary from person to person. Because every person is unique. However one thing is certain – that one must NEVER wear a GOMED (Garnet – Rahu’s gemstone) during RAHU MAHADASHA.

“So what are the gemstone that can be used – if you could just give a general idea…..that would help.”

“Only five gemstones can be used during RAHU MAHADASHA – but which one out of the four suits an individual is totally based on his or her personal birth chart.”

“Which are those five gemstones that one can wear during RAHU MAHADASHA – I am now curious – can’t wait – please tell.”

“These five gemstones are Yellow Sapphire, Yellow Topaz, Sulemani Hakik (Onyx), Natural Pearl and Ruby gemstone.”

Mohan smiled – and said “Now could you explain – WHY these four gemstones are useful during RAHU MAHADASHA?”

“RAHU is the DARKNESS caused by IGNORANCE. From where does this IGNORANCE come? It comes from your intense DESIRES for pleasures, sex, money, power. It is natural that the more desirous you become – the more you stop caring about other’s feelings. You become more and more SELFISH. You indulge in low level karma – so all this can be prevented by wearing the beautiful highly expensive gemstone of Yellow Sapphire – the stone that brings awareness to your being – in Hindi (Indian context) we address it as VIVEK. As long as VIVEK is within your being – RAHU cannot cause harm to you or cannot push you into the deep valleys of pleasures.”

“And Yellow Topaz? How does it help?” Mohan asked.

“Yellow Topaz is a less expensive stone – a five carat Yellow Topaz can cost 5ooo rupees but a five carat Yellow Sapphire can cause close to 95000 rupees! So you see – everbody cannot afford Yellow Sapphire but everybody can afford Yellow Topaz and the Topaz is a beautiful effective gemstone that brings much optimism during the frustrating period of RAHU MAHADASHA. It is a stone that prevents you from indulging in suicidal thoughts – it is a stone that helps you to realize your value – it bossts your self-esteem which is necessary when going through the dark period of RAHU MAHADASHA. Many times people earn loads of money during RAHU MAHADASHA – even FAME to some extent – but whenever human being attains the peak of his or her career then there is a very strong possibility that such a person may fall from grace – because in the illusion of I AM SOMEBODY – the person commits many sins which later come to haunt him. And if RAHU MAHADASHA is going on – and the person is at the peak of his career then he should be very cautious because RAHU can drive him crazy – make him blind meaning ignorant – and so such stones become a great asset and should be wore without any doubt.”

Mohan stood and suddenly gave me a warm hug. His eyes became wet and he said “How to thank you – you explain everything so beautifully – you are a master.”

I said “I am NOT the master – the master is speaking through me. Now sit down my fellow.”

Mohan said “And what about Black Onyx (Sulemani Hakik)?”

“Mohan in this human world – there is more hatred, more jealousy, more anger – and people go on casting black magic spells on each other. This is a messy world my fellow – and when one is running through RAHU MAHADASHA – then definitely the effect of black magic is more seen – because for black magic to materialize – RAHU DASHA is the best time – and so whosoever have cast black magic – his or spell start working on the target victim – when the victim is running through RAHU MAHADASHA. And so to safeguard people from becoming a victim of black magic especially those who are going through RAHU MAHADASHA – this miraculous stone of heavens – BLACK ONYX (Sulemani Hakik) is of great help my fellow. So based on the native’s horoscope – and the intensity of black magic spell cast on him or her – this stone weight is suggested. But for that a proper study of the horoscope is necessary.”

“And what about Ruby gemstone? Why to wear Ruby during Rahu Mahadasha?”

Mohan – your question reminds me of a story. Ruby is SUN. And SUN is very lovable. SUN is the LIGHT of CONSCIOUSNESS. RAHU is the DARKNESS. God made the world, and from that very day the sun went running after darkness. And darkness could not understand: it has not harmed the sun, it has not even talked with the sun, it has not even met the sun, yet the sun is continuously harassing her.

After millions of years of harassment, she finally got tired and went to God and said, “It is ungrateful to complain, but there is a limit to everything. I have been harassed for millions of years, and I cannot conceive of any fault on my part. The sun goes on expelling me from everywhere. It is even difficult to take a rest without anxiety — the sun may be coming, the sunrise may be close. I have not slept for millions of years — the anguish would not allow it. The sun has been almost a continuous torture, and without any reason. I simply want to know: what have I done wrong?”

God said, “You should have come earlier. There was no need to wait so long. This is very ungentlemanly on the part of the sun. The sun should be called immediately.”

The sun was called. He asked the messenger, “What is the problem? — because I have never done anything wrong. I simply go on doing the same routine every day. Since God made me, I have not done anything else.”

But the messenger said, “God is very angry. You have been hurting, harassing a poor woman — darkness.”

He said, “My God, I have never heard of her. I have never met her. I am not interested in women at all — I am a born celibate. I am coming, I want to see who this woman is.”

And as the sun came to the house of God, darkness disappeared.

God said, “Where has that woman gone?” They searched everywhere; darkness was not found.

Millions of years passed again, and one day the woman appeared and she said, “You have not done anything; it is still continuing, the same torture.”

God said, “You are strange. When the sun was here, where did you go?”

She said, “You are behaving like a simpleton. If the sun is here, I cannot be here; if I am here, the sun cannot be here. We cannot stand each other. You will have to hear our story separately and then decide.”

God said, “That is not my way. You both have to be present here so I can be certain that nobody is lying.”

The woman said, “Then it is better I take my complaint back.”

Since then, the woman has not appeared again. Once in a while the sun comes to inquire, “What happened to the woman — because I want to clear it up, it has become a worry on my head that somebody is being hurt by me, perhaps unknowingly.”

God said, “You need not be worried. The problem is such that it cannot be solved. I cannot give any decision unless you are both present in my court together and I have listened to both sides in the presence of each other. But by the very nature of things, you cannot both be present. That woman is your absence. So of course you cannot be present and absent simultaneously. Drop your worry. You are doing perfectly fine, and that woman is not going to report against you again. The file in your case is closed.”

And that is the whole essence my fellow – when SUN is PRESENT – the DARKNESS (the woman) RAHU cannot be present! And so when you wear RUBY and worship the SUN GOD – then RAHU cannot harm you during RAHU MAHADASHA – that is how RUBY is a gemstone of great significance but to come to a conclusion, the horoscope should be observed closely – remember JUDGING is UGLY. OBSERVATION is beautiful.

Observation without evaluation is the sign of real intelligence. – Jiddu Krishnamurthy

Mohan asked “And why Real Pearl? How can it help during Rahu Mahadasha?”

“Real Pearl is very expensive but it is worth it. During Rahu Mahadasha certain individuals go through many frustrations and depressions. When depression comes? When frustration comes? When you start expecting more. This state of being depressed impacts the MIND and the MIND starts sinking downwards – to prevent this sinking – the support of MOTI – REAL PEARL is required. When MIND is strong – you can face the most difficult situations of life with ease! And remember RAHU is the NORTH NODE of the MOON (Mind) and so it is necessary that the MOON (MIND) remains strong while you sail through the many shocks and upheavals that RAHU MAHADASAHA brings along.”

Mohan again gave me a warm hug and thanked me. I said “It is time for you to go back home. Your sister must be waiting for you and I know she loves you a lot. She will not have her dinner until she finds you back on her dinning table. So go my fellow and remember to come back whenever you have time – my doors are always open for you.”

With tears of joy, Mohan left. But you all must remember that along with wearing gemstones – you also should chant specific mantras during RAHU MAHADASHA. What are those mantras?

Here they are and they are very simple – because simple is what GOD loves. Because God is also SIMPLE. LOVE is also SIMPLE. And TRUTH is also SIMPLE.

    1. Aum Gam Ganapataye Namaha

    1. Aum Namaha Shivaya

    1. Aum Ram Krishna Hari

    1. Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram

    1. Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevay Namah

    1. Ram Krishna Hari

My fellows – and I say it to all my close followers and readers – by reciting anyone of the above mantras – consistently for 20 minutes morning and evening using a Japa Mala (preferably -use Sphatik Mala(quartz) – you can slowly slowly overcome the many issues that RAHU MAHADASHA creates.

But who wants to listen? People want all kind of fancy solutions – they forget the fact that the most effective solutions are not fancy and complex but utterly SIMPLE – very SIMPLE!

Along with the suggested five gemstones that can help you overcome the RAHU MAHADASHA period – there are also certain semi-precious gemstones that can help:

    • Opal (black/blue/white)

    • Aquamarine

    • Moonstone

    • Peridot

    • Green Aventurine

    • Green Jade

The reason these above six semi precious affordable gemstones can help you during RAHU MAHADASAHA is because these all are healing gemstones that can cool your body down and improve your spirit and help you keep going!

During RAHU MAHADASHA always follow a simple diet:

    1. Eat veg or non-veg but ensure that it is not spicy. If possible eat the way the westerners eat – without applying any MASALA!

    1. Avoid eating outside street food. Rahu loves street food – whenever you meet a person who loves to eat street food – he or she is a RAHUISH. RAHU never is worried about hygiene – all he wants is good taste – he forgets the fact that good tasty food can cause food poisoning – just the way a good looking woman can cause much pain – that you later realize that you just fell for the looks and forget to check if the woman is ‘hygienic’! RAHU always makes you fall for appearances – and appearances are always misleading – beware not to fall for looks and words – instead focus on finding what lies BENEATH!

    1. RAHU or SHANI – one who worships LORD HANUMAN – always is saved from the tight clutches of RAHU! Always remember there are only two clutches that you all should beware of – Clutches of RAHU and Clutches of GIRLFRIEND. Both can become toxic – and both are always demanding – very demanding! 🙂

Always remember true love is never demanding. True love never demands perfection. Never.

Even if they can find a lover they demand perfection, and the love is destroyed because of that demand. – OSHO

It happens – that you may fall in love with someone. That is fine. To LOVE someone is NOT a crime. But the crime happens when you start expecting that the other person also LOVE YOU BACK! Always remember my fellows – you have the right to LOVE – but you don’t have the right to DEMAND anything!

You have No Right to Demand anything from anybody. If Somebody Loves you, be Thankful, but Don’t Demand anything because the other has No Obligation To Love You. – OSHO

When you love – you simply love! Then it doesn’t matter if the other person loves you back – what matters is that YOU ARE IN LOVE! And love in itself is such a beautiful heavenly feeling – that love is enough unto itself! It is only LOVE that can HEAL you – my fellows – it is only LOVE.

Love Is The Most Healing Force In The World; Nothing Goes Deeper Than Love. It Heals Not Only The Body, Not Only The Mind, But Also The Soul. – Osho

Love to all my readers and followers. Remember to meditate every day – and when you meditate – meditate by reciting the mantra – a mantra should be soothing – only then it can help you and those who come in contact with YOU!

Always remember – LOVE is the BRIDGE between YOU and everything. So always walk on the PATH OF LOVE – for that is the chosen path of BUDDHA, KRISHNA, MAHAVIRA, JESUS – the PATH OF LOVE – BHAKTI MARGA (devotional path).

What is devotion? Devotion is unconditional love overflowing – then it doesn’t matter who is present – it will continue to flow – to tables, to chairs, to everything it comes in contact with! It has great transformative healing power – and only those can experience it – who have become the followers of their heart – because GOD dwells in your heart – and the heart is always right – always!

Listen to the voice that speaks without uttering a single words – for that voice is your guide – that voice is your GOD – that voice is the light of your consciousness.

Breath. And love. What else is there to this journey called life! And when you are on the greatest journey of life – never care about destinations. Shallow people always think about results and destinations – you are NOT shallow – you have to rise – you have to be like Arjuna – you have to listen to the words of Madhav – Madhav says “Arjuna – don’t worry about results – just shoot – just follow my words and you will be alright”

And so will you be all – alright. All you have to do is to follow Madhav, follow the master – and you will be able to follow the master only when you SURRENDER at HIS feet – only then the wheels of your life will start moving on the right direction and then they will never stop – the journey will continue….

The journey never stops, life never stops – because you exist in time but you belong to the eternity.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru. 🙏

Their ability to listen deeply, combined with their knack for learning, allows them to communicate profound concepts in a way that is easily understood by others. They excel in fields such as teaching, writing, public speaking, and counseling.

These qualities empower individuals with Ketu in Shravan Nakshatra to make meaningful contributions in various domains of life. Their ability to listen, learn, and intuitively understand others enables them to bring insights and wisdom to their interactions and endeavors. They have the potential to become knowledgeable mentors, gifted educators, talented artists, or spiritual guides, leaving a profound impact on the world.

Whatever Ketu touches becomes gold. But that gold is only seen by those who has a certain depth of understanding. Ketu in Shravan brings great transformation but this transformation happens after the age of 36. And it is only through the divine intervention that transformation happens in such a native’s life. Reminds of Balmik. There is a Hindu story in India… The oldest book on the life of Rama is written by Balmik. Balmik was a robber, thief, murderer — everything that you can conceive of he had done. That was his only profession. Uneducated but a tremendously powerful man, just on the highway he would be waiting for people, and anybody who was caught had to give everything; otherwise he was finished. Balmik’s family was living in luxury — he was bringing so much every day.

One day it happened that one beautiful saint, Narada, who was always carrying his ektara — a simple musical instrument, with only one string, that had become his symbol — singing and playing on his ektara he was passing, and Balmik caught hold of him. But he was still singing and playing on his ektara.

Balmik said, “Are you mad or something? Can’t you see me, can’t you see my sword? Give me everything that you have!”

Narada said, “You have caught a beggar; I have only this ektara. And that too I am not going to give easily, because what will you do with this? But if you want it, I can give it to you. If you want my life I can give that too. But before I give you anything, I want to ask one question to you.”

Balmik said, “Question? What question?”

Narada said, “You go home, ask your wife: you have been killing people, robbing people — is she ready to share the responsibility of it. Ask your father, your mother, your son, your daughter. Are they willing to share the responsibility of what you are doing?”

Balmik had never thought about such a thing; he was an uneducated man. He said, “I have never thought about it. They must share the responsibility. I am doing it for them.”

Narada said, “I will be here. Don’t be worried, you can just tie me to the tree so I cannot escape.” He was tied to the tree and Balmik rushed to his home and asked his wife. His wife said, “I have nothing to do with your responsibilities. It is your responsibility to feed your wife; how you do it I have no concern for.” And the same was the response of everybody.

Even the mother said, “It is your responsibility to take care of your old father and mother. Now how you are doing it — that you have to work out. We have not told you to kill people and rob people; you are doing it on your own. We are simply not responsible for any of your acts.”

Not a single man in his house was ready to share responsibility. He was shocked! He went back, untied Narada, touched his feet and said, “I have been my whole life a wrong person. Is there any possibility for me to get rid of all that I have done?”

Narada said, “There is no problem. You stop doing it, because the people you are doing it for are not even ready to take responsibility for it! And I will teach you my song. My song is very simple; I simply repeat the name of Rama. It is so simple, no education is needed. You sit under the tree and repeat, `Rama, Rama…’ as long as you can, and you will be transformed — because intrinsically your innermost core always remains pure. It is only the layers on it which can be dropped.”

After a few months Narda came back and he was surprised: Balmik was sitting there under the tree. Narda had been his whole life repeating the name of Rama, the Hindu God, but nothing like this had happened to him. Balmik was surrounded by an aura of light. Just going close to him you felt a tremendous silence, a great rejoicing. And it is said that it is this Balmik who later came to be known as Saint Valmiki. Saint Valmiki scripted the greatest scripture of all times – the Valmiki Ramayana. Ramayana is the life story of Lord Rama but the story of his life is so magical that by the end of it – you become so full of devotion and love that there is no word that can describe the divine juice, the divine love it leads you to! A ruthless dry person Balmik – transformed into a great Saint and wrote the most divine book filled with so much of love and deep insights that you can now understand the great transformation Ketu in Shravan can bring in ones life.

Always remember every Saint has a Past and every Sinner has a future. And so never condemn a sinner because if he gets a fair chance and proper guidance – then he too can transform into a great Saint.

Enough for now.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

To be continued….

Rahu in Punarvasu

Buddha in Hitler’s place is not a good idea. However Hitler in Buddha’s place is a wonderful development – it simply signify that the desire to change for good, the desire to learn and mature, the desire to evolve as a wise person exists. Similarly, is the case with Rahu (Hitler) in Punarvasu (Buddha’s abode) – the native has an intense desire to learn, to evolve, to mature and to become knowledgeable.

Rahu in Punarvasu is therefore a positive placement for Rahu. Always remember – an extrovert person (Rahu) entering a place of worship (Jupiter – Buddha’s abode) is a good sign and not a bad one.

One thing you all should always remember – whenever Rahu is in Cancer – the attachment with Mother, with house, with car/bike, with emotions is always there. Either the person is obsessed with his/her mother or the mother is obsessed with the native – many times Rahu in Cancer gives birth to a mommy’s boy or mommy’s girl. However if the moon is placed negatively in the chart then disputes with mother, absence of mother, loss of mother is also seen.

Punarvasu means returning of the light (the Godly). Punar means Returning and Vasu means one who is Godly! A man or woman born with moon in Punarvasu Nakshatra is very much interested in restoration of health, restoration of home, restoration of wealth – such men and women have excellent potential to HEAL others – because restoration is indeed a way of healing – restoring your health, wealth and peace of mind.

And when Rahu is in Punarvasu – the person become too much obsessed towards restoration, towards healing, towards educating others, towards knowledge sharing. So you see – the intention is GOOD but whenever one gets obsessed with something – it becomes too much and Lao Tzu says – TOO MUCH is the only sin!

As long as Jupiter (Guru) is placed well in the birth chart – RAHU in PUNARVASU can provide excellent results for natives who aspire to become Doctors, Engineers, Professors and Scholars. However if Jupiter is afflicted then Rahu in Punarvasu can actually spoil the whole future of the native – and if Jupiter is RETROGRADE – then the native is simply dragged into many miseries of life then otherwise.

“What is Jupiter in Astrology?” asked Mohan

And I said “Mohan – Jupiter in Astrology signify VIVEK.

VIVEK means conscience.

And what is conscience?

Conscience is doing what you believe is right even though it might be unpopular or difficult.

That is Jupiter in Astrology.

Rahu in Jupiter’s Nakshatra – Punarvasu simply exaggaretes the person’s conscience – provided Jupiter is Yogakarak and is not afflicted by Venus or Rahu or Ketu.

Rahu in Punarvasu is generally found to be good for natives born on the following Ascendant signs:

  1. Aries
  2. Leo
  3. Sagitarrius
  4. Cancer
  5. Scorpio
  6. Pisces

Jupiter loves the above Ascendant signs and is also Yogakarak for all these six zodiac ascendants. And so Rahu in Punarvasu works wonders when the native is born on any of these six ascendant signs.

Punarvasu is a very knowledgeable Nakshatra and the other name for Punarvasu is – Aditya.

Aditya means the Lord of Suns or – the Sun Lord!

Whosoever is going through RAHU MAHADASAHA or negative RAHU TRANSITS should do 12 Surya namaskar every morning and while doing Surya Namaskar – he or she should recite the following 12 Mantras of Surya – Sun Lord:

ॐ मित्राय नमः Oṃ Mitrāya Namaḥ (meaning – I prostrate before Sun Lord who has affection to all)

ॐ रवये नमः Oṃ Ravaye Namaḥ (meaning -I prostrate before Sun Lord who is the cause of all changes)

ॐ सूर्याय नमः Oṃ Sūryāya Namaḥ (meaning – I prostrate before Sun Lord who induces all activity)

ॐ भानवे नमः Oṃ Bhānave Namaḥ (meaning – I prostrate before Sun Lord who diffuses light)

ॐ खगाय नमः Oṃ Khagāya Namaḥ (meaning – I prostrate before Sun Lord who moves in the sky)

ॐ पूष्णे नमः Oṃ Pūṣṇe Namaḥ (meaning – I prostrate before Sun Lord who nourishes all)

ॐ हिरण्यगर्भाय नमः Oṃ Hiraṇya Garbhāya Namaḥ ( meaning – I prostrate before Sun Lord who contains everything)

ॐ मरीचये नमः Oṃ Marīcaye Namaḥ (meaning – I prostrate before Sun Lord who possesses raga (celestial music)

ॐ आदित्याय नमः Oṃ Ādityāya Namaḥ (meaning – I prostrate before Aditya – the God of Gods)

ॐ सवित्रे नमः Oṃ Savitre Namaḥ ( meaning – I prostrate before Sun Lord who produces everything)

ॐ अर्काय नमः Oṃ Arkāya Namaḥ (meaning – I prostrate before Sun Lord who should be worshipped)

ॐ भास्कराय नमः Oṃ Bhāskarāya Namaḥ (meaning – I prostrate before Sun Lord who is the cause of lustre)

One who recite all these highly powerful 12 Surya Mantras and also does the Yogasanas – will never be harmed by RAHU.

When you recite each Mantra and do the Surya Namaskar as seen in this picture – you simply become invincible and no negative energy can harm you – and that is indeed the truth!

But who wants to listen? People want easy solutions – they just want to spend money and buy solutions – they forget the fact that money cannot buy solutions – it can only buy you products but not real time solutions.

What a conincidnce that while writing on Rahu in Punarvasu – this wonderful remedy has been revealed – indeed it must be a message from Sri Punarvasu – the Lord of Lords – the Sun Lord Aditya!

Rahu in Punarvasu loves to repair. As mentioned earlier – PUNARVASU is about restoration and restoration happens only through repairing that which has been broken, damaged!

PUNARVASU therefore is GODLY – because only GOD can repair and restore your life – only God! And whenever God repairs and restores your life, HE ensures that you no more remain on the same level of awareness, God raises you – uplifts you to higher altitudes of awareness, consciousness!

“Whenever God restores something, He restores it to a place greater than it was before.”
-Bill Johnson

Reminds me of a story….

There was a young man, his name was Bhola, he must be like me. He lost everything – his father, his mother, his wife, his children, and then one day – he lost his home.

Walking on the streets – all alone he wondered – now what? The villagers also abondened him, the whole society turned back on him. They all started calling him – a bad omen!

Society is FAKE – my fellows, society will simply turn back on you as soon as you become a loser!

And so Bhola started living on whatsoever he could collect from the dustbins – slowly slowly he started turning inwards – he started chanting the name of the Lord, he became more and more spiritual and then one day – he moved out of the village – everything was now left behind – and Bhola started walking towards the beyond…..on his way he stumbled upon a old man, and the old man looked into his eyes…..and smiled. His smile was so divine, there was so much love in his eyes – that Bhola started crying…………..

The old man said “Why you cry, why you cry…..”

Bhola said “ I don’t know but just your glimpse moved my heart…..I am Bhola and I have…”

The old man said “ You don’t need to tell me anything, I know who you are and I know what you have been through. Son – I have been waiting for you, I have been observing you, not a day I have missed – every minute – every day I have been watching you….”

Bhola suddenely remembered his dreams. In his dreams he had been seeing an old man smiling and he looked exactly like this old man! Bhola fell on the old man’s feet – tears started flowing through his eyes – he said “ It was YOU – it was YOU – and you have been appearing my dreams so often – I now realize that YOU are my MASTER.”

The old man raised him up and said “Its time son – your real journey is going to start NOW.”

And the old man gave a warm hug to Bhola.

Bhola said “ Today I am truly reborn – I have lost everything – my wife, my mother, my father, my children – they all died – but now I know why I am alive. To experience this divine moment – to experience your blissful omni presence – O master – although I have lost everything – today I realize that there is absolutely nobody as RICH as I am – as fortunate as I am – as blessed as I am…..”

The Master said “ Whatsoever you have lost – was your destiny – your past life karma – now you are FREE in the true sense – now there is NO BALANCE left – you have arrived – and now you real education will begin….come lets move in to the forest…..”

And Bhola walked with the master….

Bhola was not seen for the next five years. Nobody knew where he went…until one afternoon – he was Back… but he looked different… there was a certain glow on his face, there was so much grace in his eyes. He was no more the same Bhola – he had transformed; he had changed into a man of awareness. A man of awareness needs neither duties nor responsibilities nor choices. Yet only he is capable of doing the right thing in the right moment. And that is how a true master is – HE comes only when the moment is right!

Bhola had arrived but he was transformed, he had become enlightened, by the grace of His master – he had attained that which your money your status cannot attain!

A few villagers noticed him – but they didn’t recognize him. They bowed before him and said “Please come to our village, we will take care of you.”

Bhola smiled. He knew that these villagers were the same villagers who had caused much trouble to him, that these were the same villagers who had abandoned him, condemned him. But now they could not recognize him – Bhola said “ Sure I will come to your village, that is where I belong.”

The villagers could not understand. They showed him the way towards their village and Bhola started walking……

Every step reminded him of the days when on the same route he had walked as a lost man, a man who was abandoned by the society – a man who was condemned by the same society!

Bhola smiled – at moment while walking he laughed – a loud belly laugh! The villagers wondered what made this man laugh at such strange moment. But that is how a true master is HE laughs on himself, HE laughs at the strange ways of this human world; HE laughs at the jokes that God plays often in this human life!

“Fools laugh at others.
Wisdom laughs at itself.”
-Osho

After a while they reached the village. The whole village came to seek blessings – and Bhola blessed everybody. Then someone said “There has been no rains this year – the cattle is dying of thirst, women and children are dying of thirst – please help us….”

Bhola said “Your problem will be solved. I will stand in this flowing river and meditate for two days – after two days – the rains will come – they will have to come.”

And Bhola stood in the running river water and meditated for two days – with his intense penance and love – God granted his wish and exactly after two days rains came and they came so heavily – so heavily that all the fields and farmlands received abundance of water – the cattle, the women, the children – everybody rejoiced – the birds started singing, the flowers started dancing – the whole village became happy – and they all could not find words to express their gratitude – they came and said “ We are truly blessed by your omni presence – you have done a great service to our village.”

Bhola said “ It is also my village – remember when you met me I had said that it is this village to which I belong…”

The villagers said “ But how?”

Bhola said “ You remember – there was a young man in this village – you all hated him, you all condemned him – you all labeled him as a bad omen – do you remember that young man who had lost everything?”

One old villager stepped ahead and said “ Yes master – yes, I remember – his name was Bhola.”

Bhola smiled and said “ I am the same Bhola – my fellows, I am – the same Bhola.”

The villagers could not believe their eyes and their ears – they all started trembling with fear – they all said “ We are sorry – we are very sorry to have troubled you – please don’t curse us….please don’t hate us….”

What a strange way of this world is – those who hated you are now saying – “Don’t hate us”!

Bhola smiled and said “ Hate is not my way of life – my way of life is LOVE – and I LOVE YOU ALL – so now go back to your home and start making preparation for celebrations – God has showered the rains and now we all must sing in HIS praise – dance in HIS praise….”

The villagers went back home with heavy heart – they all felt guilty for their behaviour but they also were happy to see that someone from their village has risen to the height of Buddha – they felt blessed, happily they started preparing for the celebrations!

After a few days Bhola left the village – the villagers kept crying – they were not willing to let him go – but Bhola said “ I am like a flowing river – I cannot stay here forever because only flowing water remains fresh whereas water that never flows becomes stale and so I must leave….”

And Bhola left – never to be seen again. Later many men and women became His disciples and whenever his disciples asked “Who restored your life?”

Bhola’s eyes would become wet and he would say “ That old man who always waited for me – who loved me, who blessed me – without whom I am lifeless – My Guru – My Master. He restored my life and not only he restored my life but he also raised me to the highest level of consciousness – even if I wash his feet with my blood – even if I clean his feet with the whole skin of my body – still I will NEVER be able to express my gratitude to the fullest – so much he has given my – His breath is my breath – my breath is HIS…..”

That is how a true master is – HE restores your life but also raise you to the higher altitude of consciousness. And that is exactly how PUNARVASU NAKSHATRA is – Punarvasu too restores your life and Punarvasu is ruled by Jupiter – the Guru, the Master!

What a beautiful connection – and how beautiful astrology can be – only if you can connect with your heart – only if you can FEEL more.

“GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD AND INTO YOUR HEART.
THINK LESS. FEEL MORE.”
– OSHO

Rahu in Punarvasu Nakshatra native having a positive placement of Jupiter – does takes great interest in:

  1. conceptualizing new initiatives
  2. focusing on remedies that improve health
  3. performing certain remedies
  4. providing solutions
  5. repairing and restoration of damaged materials
  6. Coaching and providing counselling
  7. Farming & poultry business
  8. Education sector, spreading knowledge, educating the weaker sections of society
  9. Social work, laying foundations of large institutions
  10. Family life – especially considers Mother as an ideal or an inspiration in life

One of the most striking sign of Rahu in Punarvasu is that the native loves to preach, teach and nurture the society. Many great preachers are born with Rahu in Punarvasu.

If you give a project to a Manager having Rahu in Punarvasu Nakshatra – then he will treat the project as his child – and like a mother – he will take care of all the aspects of the project and complete it with great care and perfection. Rahu in Punarvasu makes the native extremely caring – to the extent that sometimes it just becomes too much to handle. For example a mother having Rahu in Punarvasu is so much caring that the child starts suffocating – always remember TOO MUCH is the only sin!

Yesterday Mohan asked a very interesting question – he asked “ Cancer Rahu in Ashlesha is caring – and Cancer Rahu in Punarvasu is also caring – but then what is the difference between their caring nature?”

I said “ Mohan – Rahu in Ashlesha brings too much head into the caring nature – and Rahu in Punarvasu brings too much of alertness in caring nature. There is one beautiful word in Hindi – Siddhant – meaning values/principals/ethics. A person having Rahu in Punarvasu is more focused on ensuring that he as well as his child follows certain Siddhant – meaning values, principles and ethics – his or her caring nature is more about following certain values and principles while Rahu in Ashlesha is more about the chattering mind that goes on caring and this type of caring makes you worry more and more.

“Worry is one of the basically destructive qualities of the mind which does not allow thinking. Worry is not thinking. Thinking is never worried; thinking is a very relaxed phenomenon. Worry is too tense; it cannot think. It moves into the same groove again and again and again. It is simply confusion gone berserk. Everything rushes in, rushes out, but there is never any conclusion. It is like a wheel that goes on moving in the same rut.”
-OSHO

Ashlesha Rahu simply goes on worrying – this worrying is of the head – and to such a worry he considers as caring!

Whereas Punarvasu Rahu simply cares – his caring is of the heart and not of the head.

Generally Rahu in Punarvasu Nakshatra attains success in whatsoever he undertakes. When Rahu is in the abode of Jupiter – certain positivity of Jupiter compels Rahu to act with awareness then otherwise.

Rahu is the north node of the mind – and so no matter in which Nakshatra Rahu is – as long as Rahu is in Cancer – the control of mind over the native is very tight and the native often is engulfed in the clutches of mind – unless he is meditative being or has a Ketu Moon conjunction.

The MIND is a great prison. The Sufis say – the mind is a disease and indeed it is a truth!

Once it happened – There was a man who lost his axe and he suspected the boy next door. He watched the boy walking–he had stolen his axe. His expression, his talk, his behaviour, his manner, everything about him confirmed that he had stolen the axe.

However the next day the man was digging in his garden and he found the axe. So in reality – the axe was NOT stolen by the boy but was lost in the garden!

NOW – when the man saw the boy next door again – nothing in his behaviour and manner suggested that he would steal an axe.

So you see – this is how the cunning mind works – first the man’s mind made him believe that the boy must have stolen his axe – the mind made him believe that the body language of the boy indeed is that of a thief – you see, but in the end the TRUTH was something else – the TRUTH was that the axe was NOT stolen by the boy but was simply lost in the field!

This is how people spoil their relationship! The boyfriend starts thinking that his girlfriend is cheating him – that she is having SEX with another boy – then whatever the girlfriend says – the mind makes the boyfriend believe that indeed his DOUBT is CORRECT! When in reality the girlfriend is completely INNOCENT – and then a day comes when the relationship no more can survive – and it breaks – bringing a great deal of pain to both – the boyfriend and the girlfriend! DOUBT is of the MIND – and the MIND is a MONKEY – the MIND can NEVER know the TRUTH though the MIND goes on making you believe that what you think is the TRUTH and that creates more and more distance between you and your partner – the MIND is a monster that it simply destroys LOVE – the MIND kills LOVE.

“An ordinary mind is an active agent. It is not like a mirror. It is not just showing whatsoever is the case; no, it penetrates actively. It brings its own ideas to reality. It colors reality, it gives a shape. It gives a form to reality which is not there, which has been brought by the mind itself.” – Osho

The trick of the MIND is such that whatsoever the mind thinks, it always finds there… because first you put something in reality and then you read it. With the right hand you put it, with the left hand you read it and you think you are reading reality.

Always remember – the MIND creates MAYA (Illusion). If you live through the mind you live in maya, you live in illusion, you live in your own projections and ideas. Layers of your thoughts hide you from reality and hide reality from you. Dropping the mind is dropping the maya, the very base of all hallucination. Once the mind is not there, suddenly that which is, is revealed.

“In the space of no-mind, truth descends like light.”
-Osho

When RAHU is in CANCER sign ruled by MOON (MIND) – the native has to take special efforts to control the monkey mind and evantually overcome the mind by turning inwards – by chanting the holy mantra. However this is possible only in the case of EVOLVED SOULS.

Common souls – shallow souls having RAHU in CANCER simply remain in the tight GRIP OF THE MIND and when you remain a SLAVE of your MIND – the MIND takes you for a nice ride!

“The Mind is a beautiful Servant but a dangerous Master.” – Buddha

When you make the MIND as your MASTER – you will SUFFER a lot in life.
It is only when you make the MIND as your SERVANT – that you will find peace, bliss and happiness in life.

What is the MIND? This MIND is the RESULT of your many past birth SANSKAR (cultures/impacts). The STATE of your MIND (Moon placement) is directly connected with your past birth cycle journeys. If you have MOON in the 8th house – it simply means that for many births you had been focusing on the matters of the 8th house matters (sorcery, investigations, research, underworld, treasuries, etc) – however the most significant trademark of 8th house moon placement is – FEAR. Natives having moon in 8th house are always fearful – the lack courage unless there is another planet along with moon in the 8th house. 8th house moon natives are driven by FEAR – and not by LOVE!

If Rahu is in Punarvasu (Cancer sign) and Moon is in the 8th house then matters become worse in matters of family life, house, etc. Rahu in Punarvasu is beneficial only when Jupiter and Moon are placed in positive house – and NOT in 6th, 8th and 12th house. However if Moon is in 6th, 8th and 12th house and is receiving 5th or 7th or 9th aspect from Jupiter then Rahu can give positive results! It all depends on how and what state Moon (mind) and Jupiter (conscience) is. Always remember – 8th house, 12th house and 6th house placements are NOT always bad – provided the Lord of these house is Yogakarak and placed in suitable house and sign. So never be quick to judge.

“Quick to judge, quick to anger, slow to understand… prejudice, fear and ignorance walk hand-in-hand.”
-Neil Peart

In the very beginning of this sharing I had specifically mentioned that Rahu in Cancer generally makes one a mommy’s boy. The native is attached to his mother and the mother is also attached to her son. In the history of Indian Politics – there can be no other better example than that of late Prime Mininster Rajiv Gandhi. His attachment to mother (Indira Gandhi) was well known and incidentally he became the Prime Minister of India – when Indira Gandhi was killed. So he became a successor to his mother (Cancer Rahu in Punarvasu). In fact Rajiv Gandhi was the first accidental Prime Minister and not Manmohan Singh!

Millions of Sikhs were brutally killed after Indira Gandhi was assisanated – and when journalists ask that why the Congress Government did not interven and stop this mad killing and bloodshed – Rajiv Gandhi quotes:

“When a big tree falls, the ground shakes”
-Rajiv Gandhi

So he is justifying the killing of Sikhs and the bloodshed and the anger – by claiming that his mother – Late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was a BIG TREE and when a big tree falls – the ground shakes (bloodshed happens)!

So you see – attachment with mother is a trademark of Rahu in Punarvasu Nakshatra and in general Rahu in Cancer sign.

Rajiv Gandhi had Rahu in Punarvasu Nakshatra. Punarvasu Nakshatra definately brings the desire to restore, nurture. And Rajiv Gandhi did many good things for the country – he was the one who encouraged establishing the IT industry in India – today the blooming IT industry in India certainly cannot get away without expressing gratitutde towards Rajiv Gandhi – one of the youngest leader who became Prime Minister at the age of 40.

Philanthropy and social work is what Rahu in Punarvasu Nakshatra native is good at. Reminds me of Ivanka Trump – a rising social figure who has done exceptionally well for herself by devoting herself to many social causes and philanthropy work. Ivanka Trump has Rahu in Punarvasu Nakshatra and I certainly will not be surprised if she attains a prominent role in US Politics – for she has what it takes to succeed in Politics.

Punarvasu is ruled by Jupiter and Rahu in Punarvasu thus brings great interest towards learning about other FAITHS (Religions) and at times the native also converts to the FAITH in which he or she believes in. Raised as a Christian Ivanka Trump converted to Orthodox Judaism in July 2009. Ivanka took the Hebrew name “Yael”. She describes her conversion as an “amazing and beautiful journey” which her father (Donald Trump) supported “from day one”, adding that he has “tremendous respect” for the Jewish faith.

Ivanka Trump at the Western Wall, the holiest site where Jews can pray, in Jerusalem’s Old City

Rahu in Punarvasu Nakshatra indeed makes the native a faithful person – Ivanka Trump having Rahu in Punarvasu indeed confirms this fact!

Yet another Jewish native who is one of the greatest legendary Hollywood Actor – Michael Douglas – also has Rahu in Punarvasu Nakshatra.

“I am a Jew. Those are four words of pride. My Jewishness is as deep as my genes.”
-Michael Douglas

Religious, Faithful, Preacher – all these qualities of Jupiter are simply exagarrated when Rahu is in Punarvasu Nakshatra and the person can and does goes to extremes when it comes to RELIGION.

It is not bad to have Rahu in Punarvasu Nakshatra – as mentioned in the very beginning of this sharing – it is always good to have Hitler standing in the abode of Buddha! So natives having Rahu in Punarvasu certainly have arrived on this planet to strengthen religion, religious thoughts, and to raise the flag of religion much higher than it is NOW!

Being righteous, being religious, being caring, nurturing, restoring and repairing – motivating and inspiring others to walk on the path of FAITH – are some of the prominent traits of Rahu in Punarvasu Nakshatra. It is a good placement and if the chart is of an evolved soul then this Rahu in Punarvasu certainly can bring a better change in this world and make this world a much better place to live!

“The planet does not need more successful people. The planet desperately needs more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lovers of all kinds.”

That is exactly what Rahu in Punarvasu Nakshatra can provide to this planet – healers, peacemakers and restorers! I prostrate before the divine knowledgeable Nakshatra – Punarvasu. May its blessing shower upon me and all my readers & followers.

To attain more strength from the pious and benevolent Nakshatra Punarvasu – one should plant a bamboo tree in a big pot or garden. The tree that Punarvasu signify is Bamboo tree and those who know the immense power and beauty of the bamboo plant cannot agree more – bamboo is the most auspicious plant – just the way Punarvasu is the most auspicious plant. No doubt – Lord Rama was born on Punarvasu Nakshatra – the Nakshatra that restores righteousness – DHARMA.

RAMA is indeed our SOUL. Sita is our HEART. While Ravana (the demon king Asura) is our MIND. Eradicate the MIND – DROP the MIND – DEFEAT the MIND and the SOUL will rise and speak! Eradicate the MIND – and your Heart will start beating with LOVE – for the first time you will feel ALIVE – you will feel lighter – the miracle dwells in your heart – your heart knows the answer – your heart is where GOD dwells – your heart is beautiful..

“The only Lasting beauty is the Beauty of the Heart.”
– Rumi

Intellect and Logic is dry and boring – that is why the Guru – the Master loves those who follow their heart, I love those who are followers of the heart – then we can sing together – then we can dance together – then life is no more a misery but a wonderful adventure!

You continue to EXIST as long as you are following your HEAD – however the moment you drop your HEAD and start following your HEART – that is when you truly start LIVING – that is when you truly become ADVENTUROUS!

“If your heart says take the jump, then take the jump, then risk, then be adventurous.”
-Osho

Adventure is possible only when you walk the way of the heart – God realization is one of the greatest adventure – Punarvasu means God of Gods – and God loves all those beautiful souls who are willing to “Jump” – into the unknown, God loves those who are willing to take the RISK!

Always remember – it is GOD who chooses HIS men – it is the GURU who chooses HIS disciples – Jesus choose 12 disciples (Apostles), Krishna choose Arjuna, Buddha choose Mahakasyapa, Mahakasyapa was the first disciple of Buddha who attained enlightement and he was not in rush – in fact he wanted to delay the experience of enlightenment because Buddha had made a rule – once His disciple attains enlightenment then he cannot live with Buddha – he has to leave Buddha and travel to to spread the light – the knowledge – the wisdom! And Mahakasyapa loved Buddha so much that when he attained enlightenment he remained silent – he thought Buddha will not know – but who can hide anything from the master!! And so Buddha said “Mahakasyapa, don’t try to deceive me. Now there is no need to sit under this tree. Get on and move! There are millions of people who are still groping in darkness, and you are sitting here enlightened. Take this fire of your enlightenment and make as many people aflame as possible.”

Mahakasyapa was in tears. He started crying…he said ” Master…I have been hiding. I am enlightened and I cannot go near you. I wanted to touch your feet, but I touched your feet – just made the gesture of touching your feet – from faraway under the tree. Because I knew that once one is enlightened he is sent away.”

Buddha raised Mahakasyapa – and said “ I love you. I am with you. Wheresoever you go – I am with you. So now start your journey, walk to the farthest shores of this planet and help those who are thirsty for GOD – for LOVE – for the TRUTH.”

And Mahakasyapa left – he travelled his whole life and helped those who were thirsty for God – for Love – for the ultimate Truth!

Truth is what Punarvasu loves – one who seeks the TRUTH – one who seeks GOD – one who seeks LOVE – should always worship the pious benevolent Nakshtra of Punarvasu!

Love to all my close followers and readers. Stay blessed and remember – you are NOT alone, God is with you.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Magha: Power of Letting Go

Ashlesha is a highly intellectual nakshatra since Mercury is intellectual by nature. Magha is a highly intelligent nakshatra since Ketu is highly spiritual by nature and intelligence comes only through the supreme source of spirituality. Ashlesha has its own beauty but Magha remains the supreme nakshatra because of its LET GO nature. Ketu’s Magha rejoices in the state of detachment while Mercury’s Ashlesha loves to cling – to hold – to not to let go.

Ketu is the supreme energy that helps one to overcome the mind and experience the state of NO MIND – and it is only in the state of NO MIND – Truth, Love and God can be experienced. Real power is when you are out of mind (KETU) – miracles are performed here – because miracles are beyond mind while magic is born out of the mind. Magic is man made – Miracle is God made. Miracle is Godly. Only a Buddha can perform miracle, only Jesus, Mahavira, only the enlightened beings can perform Miracles because they are no more caught up in the MIND – they have gone beyond the mind – you cannot make them happy and you cannot make them unhappy – happy and unhappy are the states of the mind and the master dwells beyond mind – HE is the REAL KING – HE has found the REAL GOLD – that’s MAGHA (KETU).

MAGHA is worshipped by many seers because MAGHA is the seat of power – real power, power which not limited to the throne of the KING but power which can give birth to many kings and queens! Once it happened – Akkalkot Swami Samarth was seated beneath a tree – and the King with his whole fleet of soldiers and ministers was coming towards Swami. Even while coming to meet the master – the King wanted to show-off his strength and his majesty. The King must be a MAGHA RAHU man because RAHU in MAGHA natives like to SHOW-OFF a lot. When the King stepped down from his chariot and bowed before Akkalkot Swami – Swami got up and gave a tight slap on the King’s face.

The King was taken aback. Real saints are NOT cats, but Lions. Swami raised HIS hand, looked at the King and said “I create ‘KINGS’ like you every day across this world. Next time you come – don’t come with all this show-off – else I will never meet you.”

The KING started crying like a child- he touched the feet of the master and said ” I am sorry – and I am so grateful to you for opening my eyes – bringing awareness to my being – next time I will never come with all this fleet of soldiers and ministers – I will come alone to seek your darshan. Please pardon me.”

Swami started laughing – this is how real saints are – their anger is also like a small child’s anger – for a moment they are angry and then the next moment the anger gone! Looking into the eyes of the King – Swami said ” Last birth you were a dhobi (cloth-washer) and you used to clean my clothes. Then one day you saw a huge proceeding of a KING – and an intense desire of becoming the KING – was born in your mind. I realized your desire and because of your selfless SEVA (service) towards me – I granted your wish and blessed you – my blessing has manifested – you have become the KING.”

The King’s eyes became wet – tears started flowing through his eyes. Swami touched the King’s forehead – just a soft touch and the King went back to his past life – and he could now remember his past birth name “Bhola”. He was a dhobi – a cloth washer. Before parting his ways – he had cried a lot – he had said “Although I will become the KING next birth but then I will miss you – when will I meet you again….”

And Swami had said ” When you will become the KING – then one day you will come in search of ME and you will find me – now don’t think much – you have a long way to go.”

The King having realized his past life connection with the master – could not control himself – he said “You please come with me to my Palace – I will take care of you – I will not let you have any trouble – I will personally attend you – just the way I was attending you in my last birth – I will wash your clothes but O master please come with me.”

Swami said ” Once hearts are connected – then there is no need to go anywhere. I cannot stay in a Palace, four walls cannot contain me – and you cannot stay in the forest because you have to take care of your people – remember you are now a KING and with power comes great responsibility. So go back to your palace and always remember – I am with you.”

The King returned back to his Royal Palace but with a very heavy heart…

The real power is the power that can create many such Kings and Queens – and MAGHA reflects such power which is beyond the human imagination!

Magha is also connected with PAST KARMA – and KETU is also connected with PAST BIRTHS – and so if Rahu falls in Magha – then the intensity of past life desires is very high and so generally a native born with Rahu in Magha is found to be highly passionate and it is this high passionate nature that leads the native to high positions in life. That is why Rahu in Magha is a very powerful position for Rahu. In fact Rahu in Magha is always in search of power and so many great politicians are born with Rahu in Magha. Barack Obama and Joe Biden – both have Rahu in Magha and both became the President of US. However the bad part of Rahu in Magha is that Rahu completely destroys the basic essence of Ketu and that is living with detachment. Rahu in Magha is unable to Let Go and so the nature of clinging ultimately leads such a person to many miseries than otherwise.

Detachment is the very essence of Ketu. In Ashwini – Ketu is fighting the battle. In Magha – Ketu has finally attained the seat of power. Magha is addressed by the ancient seers as the royal seat of power because Magha is where Buddha sits and directs his disciples. Real Power is not controlling others but controlling yourself. Mastering others is strength. Mastering yourself is true power says Lao Tzu.

Magha is ruled by Ketu and it is Magha that knows the essence of true leadership. I think Lao Tzu must have had a good presence of Magha Nakshatra in his birth chart because the way he defines leadership is simply astounding. When asked about true leadership – Lao Tzu says – “A leader is best when people barely know he exists. When his work is done they will all say “We did it ourselves.”

What a great definition of true leadership – A leader is best when people barely know he exists! This type of leader is very much Ketuish – someone who just want to remain away from the limelight and yet drives the whole show successfully. Ketu’s Magha Nakshatra is a Chhupa Rustam. Chhupa Rustam means a Dark Horse. It means that a person who never let people know about his unique skills and powers and just does the work silently and secretly! Magha works exactly like this – silently and secretly – away from the eyes of the world. And that is why Magha is also connected with the art of magic! Magical powers come to Magha with much ease – and if the soul is evolved than spiritual powers such as Siddhis also come by the blessings of Magha!

There is no comparison between Ashelsha and Magha. You cannot compare a fish with a lion. A fish is a genius in water while a Lion is a genius on land. Every Nakshatra has its own speciality – and every Nakshtra is a genius. Reminds me of ALbert Einstein when he quotes “Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

So one should not compare Ashlesha with Magha because Ashlesha is a fish while Magha is a Lion. Ketu is the Real King. Mercury is all logic and intellectuality. When Ketu’s spirituality is mixed with Mercury – then what you see – is simply beautiful. That is why whenever you have a flavor of Sufism added to a hindi song – you instantly connect with the song especially if you too are spiritual by nature!

Natives born with Ascendant in Magha goes through many SUDDEN HIGH and LOW phases of life. However if the native’s birth chart has overall positive placement of planets then even though while going through the low phases of life – they NEVER lose their enthusiasm.

Moon in Magha Nakshatra likes to play in the stock market. Many also become good investment banker with this placement. They like to takes risks. Magha brings the much needed entrepreneur spirit and so it is good for business. Many big time investors have Moon or Ascendant in MAGHA nakshatra – because to become a good successful investor – you need to take HIGH RISKS.

Moon or ascendant in MAGHA likes all that is GRAND – SPACIOUS – and KINGLY in display. Generally you will not find stingy people having Moon in MAGHA – they spend well and they also spend well for lavish parties and for friends and family. Their motto is simple – LIVE BIG, LIVE KING SIZE.

MAGHA natives just loves to buy big brands – he or she is indeed a man who buys a thing by first looking what brand it belongs to!

MAGHA natives are large hearted men – who may do a favor but will not ask or expect anything in return. The ‘LEO’ (Lion) nature is of GIVING and just GIVING like a GODFATHER!

Prestige. Prestige is like ‘Oxygen’ for these men and women – they may be unhappy in their marriage but they will never knock on the door of the court – because DIVORCE means threat to their prestige and so they generally remain unhappy in their marriage but never dare to file a divorce because “What people will say?”

In exception situations they will take divorce only when they are pressurized by their family – otherwise they generally want to keep their ‘image’ as crystal clear as possible.

These natives generally don’t wait for others approval of their talent – they go out in the market – roar like a lion and build their own brand.

Instead of begging for a seat, these natives build their own table.

For Moon or Ascendant in MAGHA natives – driving on the road to greatness is possible when they bring humility, service and character to their being and self-realize the fact that GREATNESS is NOT found in position or prestige or power.

KETU is LET GO. KETUISH man can easily LET GO – and because he can LET GO – he can FORGIVE. KETUISH man is detached from everything and yet connected to everything.

Paramhansa Yogananda – the divine master and Author of the legendary book “Autobiography of a YOGI” was born on rising MAGHA Nakshatra(Ascendant LEO). It is said that at the time of death — Steve Jobs had only ONE BOOK on his i-pad and it was “Autobiography of a YOGI”!

MAGHA NAKSHATRA is perfect NAKSHATRA when it comes to LETTING GO – because it is ruled by KETU. In fact MAGHA has all the essence of a MONK, a SANYASI – a man who is on the greatest journey of his life – the Spiritual Journey!

People connect with me spontaneously – when they are born on MAGHA NAKSHATRA – especially when their ASCENDANT is rising with MAGHA!

Always remember – A good night sleep comes only when you go with the flow – when you accept – when you LET GO.

Much of the miseries come your way because you are not willing to LET GO. Many times people ask ” Why I am not able to LET GO? What is the way through which I will be able to LET GO?

The answer is in one word – MEDITATION.

Reminds me of a beautiful story – it is said that when ALEXANDER came to INDIA, he collected many precious treasures – abundance of GOLD and DIAMONDS, and when he was about to leave India – he came across a naked fakir.

Alexander asked the fakir “Do you see my treasures? Have you ever seen anybody with so many treasures?”

The fakir said, “All your treasures are nothing, but I can give you one thing that will really make you rich!”

Alexander could not imagine what this naked fakir could give him. In his begging bowl the fakir had a small mirror. He gave the mirror to Alexander.

Alexander said, “This mirror will make me the richest man in the world? You must be mad!”

The fakir said, “First look in the mirror.”

And Alexander looked into the mirror: it did not show his face – it showed his inner being, it showed his interiority, it showed his subjectivity. His being was reflected in the mirror.

He touched the feet of the fakir and said, “You are right – all my treasures are nothing before this mirror.”

It is said that he kept this mirror continuously with him.

That mirror represent meditation. The fakir must have given him some meditation because only meditation can make you aware of who you are.

POWER cannot help you to realize who you are – greed for POWER drags you away from your ‘SELF’ – you go on killing thousands of people just to gain more power – more territories but within – you remain a restless miserable man.

POWER is NOT bad – only if it is in the hands of an awakened being – a BUDDHA, a Christ, a Krishna, a Mahavira!

POWER becomes bad – when it is in the hands of an ignorant corrupted being.

Moon or Ascendant in MAGHA does well when the individual or the native has brought much awareness to his being – then through the ‘seat of power’ (MAGHA) he can help the common man, the nation and its people.

It is a MYTH that Power corrupts YOU. Power cannot corrupt you – unless you are already a corrupt being. Power simply brings your corruption into action.

People are full of violence, greed, anger, passion – but has no power; so they remain a saint. To be violent you need to be powerful. To fulfill your greed you need to be powerful. To satisfy your passions you need to be powerful. So when power happens into your hands, all your sleeping dogs start barking. Power becomes a nourishment to you, an opportunity. It is not that power corrupts, you are corrupted. Power only brings your corruption into the open. You wanted to kill somebody, but you had not the power to kill; but if you have the power, you will kill.

POWER in the hands of an awakened being will not cause harm but only help to those who are in need.

Whatever is hidden in your seeds, whatever is your potentiality, power gives you a chance – because most human beings are living so unconsciously that when they come to power all their unconscious instincts have a chance to be fulfilled. Then they don’t care whether it kills people, whether it poisons people….

Power is misused because you have desires which are ugly. The real character of a man comes out only when he is given power – absolute power.

Just the way the physical body needs a good bath every day – similarly your inner being also need a good bath every day and it comes in the form of meditation.

When awareness comes to your being – when awareness, consciousness expands – then all the RAHUISH (WORDLY affairs) can be very effectively managed for the well being of others!

This is how you can change the quality of your life – this is how all those having MOON in MAGHA can brings a pleasant change in this human world by cleansing themselves and expanding your consciousness – which is possible only when your meditation is not limited to a few minutes but becomes a way of life.

Ashlesha is a Nakshatra whose nature is to CLING. Whereas Magha is a nakshatra whose nature is to LET GO. And that is why Magha is great – in fact the word Magha itself means the Greatest of all! Because it is only when you are able to LET GO that you can truly progress in your life. How LET GO happens?

Let Go happens when you are able to live with ACCEPTANCE. So first you ACCEPT – then the stage of acceptance help you to Let Go and when you Let Go – you feel lighter – you feel relaxed and then you truly start moving forward and then there is no looking back – the sky is clear and you are ready to fly!

And so it is the LET GO nature of Ketu’s Magha that makes it a very special Nakshatra. Ashlesha is brilliant, but its clinging nature blocks its spiritual growth. Buddha says – The root of suffering is Attachment. Buddha says “Life is suffering” because throughout your life you remain attached to so many people as well as things.

This attachment need to transform into detachment – and that is possible only when you start meditating daily – when you start chanting daily.

Every day millions of buds blossom into a beautiful flower. You also can blossom, you also can dance, you also can sing a song – only when you live by surrendering yourself to GOD – only when you start meditating on God’s holy name.

Chant the name of the Lord – every day, with unconditional love, with no expectations. And then the miracles will start happening – miracles happen every day in our life – we miss to ‘see’ these miracles because we are still ‘blind’ and the fakir has given us a mirror – the fakir must be really mad because he is giving mirror to blind people like us – but the mirror he gives is the most wonderful gift of the beyond – the mirror is ‘meditation’ – through meditation you can ‘see’ – it is only through meditation that you will gain a new ‘perspective’ towards life – a fresh perspective – a new vision.

Meditate with love – because there it is only through LOVE – unconditional love – that you can experience the beyond – the Godly – the Divine – and that’s what MAGHA is all about – the Divine Seat of POWER – where the enlightened beings sit and direct this human world.

I humbly prostate before the divine seat of power – MAGHA – the majestic Star where the angels dwell.

Angels represent: the totality of life, innocence of life, celebration of life.

MAGHA is the home to angels – and Moon in MAGHA natives perfectly understand the fact – that life is NOT logic, that life is NOT a philosophy – life is a celebration!

The real meaning of ‘creativity’ is – loving whatsoever you do, celebrating it as a Gift of God!

MAGHA brings creativity because they love whatsoever they do – they dance, they sing – they are perfectly aware that the true religion is in celebrating life. They don’t analyze, they celebrate life.

When you celebrate, the whole existence participates with you. God comes only to a open mind and not close mind. You have to open up to the existence, you have to share your thoughts – you have to express yourself without thinking who will say what – MAGHA – gives that open window – to express, to sing, to share, to dance!

Dance – but when you dance – become the dance – don’t let the dancer (ego) control you – when you sing – become the song, when you love – become love.

The solution to all the miseries of human life is found only in one word – LOVE.

Love can heal – Love can forgive. And Love can lead you to the state of liberation (Moksha).

Leo is indeed the sign of individuality – and only an individual can truly love – only an individual can understand the essence of true love – because he is not bothered about the society – he is not chasing respectability – he is happy to BE – he is not interested in BECOMING.

Be who you are and share what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.

Freedom is the fuel – freedom is the foundation of a blissful life but this freedom should come from within – inner freedom. Inner freedom is possible. It happens as you go deeper and deeper into awareness. Watch your body, watch your thought processes.

Buddha says: Watch, witness the whole process of your thoughts. Slowly, slowly, you will be aware that you are not any thought—you are not mind at all. You are a pure witness. The experience of pure witnessing is the experience of total freedom, but it is an inward phenomenon. And a man who is inwardly totally free has no hankering to be outwardly free. He is capable of accepting nature as it is.

Such a man lives with ACCEPTANCE – to such a man, Buddha calls a TATHATAGATA – one who has experienced total freedom within – one who is the real LION – the real GURU – the real MASTER who reigns over the ‘space’ to which the world calls MAGHA – the seat of power, real power whose roots are found in the seed of Love.

Love to all.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Hasta Nakshatra Overview

Hasta is a highly creative Nakshatra. However this creativity is more specific to “intellectual creativity”. Examples of Intellectual creativity are as follows:

  1. Problem solving
  2.  Writing
  3. Visualization
  4. Communication
  5. Open-mindedness

Hasta therefore is a star constellation that has been instrumental in the creation of many intellectual creations that has changed the very perception of looking at life and when perception changes for good – life too changes for good.

Many mind-blowing architecture designs, legendary films, novels, discoveries and inventions are done by the grace of this beautiful highly creative Nakshatra – HASTA!

Hasta itself means “HANDS” – HANDS that CREATE. HANDS that HEAL. HANDS that do MAGIC. And so many a times this NAKSHATRA is also connected with all sorts of magics that exist on our planet MOTHER EARTH.

Always remember – the ENERGY is the same – whether you make use of this ENERGY for GOOD CAUSE or BAD CAUSE is based on what you are from within. A POSITIVE BEING will use the creative energy of HASTA to create something beautiful while a NEGATIVE CHEAP FELLOW will use the creative energy of HASTA to create many problems in others life. A white magician works to HEAL YOU. A black magician works to DESTROY YOU. Both are using the same energy – however their intentions and their goals are different. It is just the way the sword is – you can use it to protect yourself and your people or you can use it to kill others and cause much bloodshed. Moon in HASTA simply exaggerates the desire to CREATE something unique. The other aspect of Moon in HASTA is that these men and women want to bring social upliftment – want to bring awareness in the society.

Observing others, analyzing each and every aspect of life and work, serving mankind – are some of the traits of Moon in Hasta Nakshatra. These people like servitude. They have a heart of a servant.

“THE MEASURE OF A MAN’S GREATNESS IS NOT THE NUMBER OF SERVANTS HE HAS, BUT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE HE SERVES”
-John Hagee

They believe in a new concept of management which is called – Servant-Leadership.

“The servant-leader is servant first, it begins with a natural feeling that one wants to serve, to serve first, as opposed to, wanting power, influence, fame, or wealth.” ― Robert K. Greenleaf on Servant Leadership

Hasta being in the sign of servitude – VIRGO – is inclined towards servitude. Moon in Hasta simply exaggerates this sense of being in service to others.

“Good leaders must first become good servants.”
-Robert Greenleaf

A true leader is born only when he or she goes through the experience of servitude.

HASTA  therefore brings the potential to become a great leader – because such a native was once a good servant!

Moon is very much connected to RAHU and KETU. Rahu is the North Node of the Moon – Rahu simply signify the outwardly mind and Ketu is the South Node of the Moon – Ketu simply signify the inwardly mind – meaning mind turned inwards. Since the material world operates with a mind that is constantly focused on the outward – RAHU becomes a very important entity in the affairs of human life. And so I am now going to share a few examples of RAHU in HASTA Nakshatra.

William Harrison the President of United States had Rahu in Hasta Nakshatra. Hasta is all about servitude – serving the nation – serving the society – serving others – and Rahu in Hasta exaggerates this servitude nature. Harrison is one fine example. He had the shortest presidency in U.S. history. He was also the first U.S president to die in office. Harrison died just 31 days after his inauguration and his last words were directed to US Vice President John Tyler (who became the next US President after his death) – William said to Tyler:

“Sir, I wish you to understand the true principles of the government. I wish them carried out. I ask nothing more.”

Such is the depth of Rahu in Hasta – that they want to serve the society by governing on the basis of certain principals and values.

US President William Harrison died nearly penniless. His most enduring legacies is the series of treaties that he negotiated and signed with the native American Indian leaders during his tenure as the Indiana territorial governor. Negotiation is one great skill that comes to VIRGO HASTA RAHU native. These natives are good at arriving at a deal – they indeed are good deal makers – they can sense the right timing.

“I’d say that, to be a good deal maker, you have to have three basic characteristics timing, timing, and timing.”
-Richard Armitage

Virgo is a sign of intellectualism – and Hasta falls in Virgo. Hasta is ruled by Moon and so Rahu in Hasta also brings great intellectual creativity. One of the best example of Rahu Hasta’s Creative intellectuality is Sir Isaac Newton. Sir Isaac Newton has Rahu in Hasta Nakshatra.

Three hundred years ago a scientist, Isaac Newton discovered gravity. You have heard that an apple fell down while Newton was sitting in a garden. He wondered why things fell downward and never upward. Why? Why downward? If you throw a stone, it will come down again. Everything does. Why? What is the secret behind it? He thought and searched and eventually discovered the theory of gravitation: that the earth pulls everything to itself. It has special power which pulls everything down. Today’s science virtually is based on the foundation of his discover. The theory of gravity became the basis of modern science. But it is necessary to remember that NOTHING exists in life without its opposite.

There was a great poet, a wise man and he asked Newton ” Mr. Newton, its true that the apple fell from the tree and down on to the earth. But I want to ask you one thing. Tell me, how did it get up there in the first place?”

Certain trees of apple grow hundred and twenty feet high. Water reaches up to the topmost leaves even when the trees are 120 feet tall! Something raises the water that high. What is it? It is called LEVITATION. Scientists have already started working on researching LEVITATION. GRAVITATION is what pulls you down towards the EARTH. LEVITATION is something that pulls you upwards from the EARTH. There is nothing in this world that doesn’t exists without its opposite! Life and Death, Day and Night, Sadness and Happiness, childhood and old age – the opposite always exists – in fact electricity is also generated when the positive and negative come together. The tree that grows on the outside – also grows beneath the ground….that’s its balance, that’s how life is meant to be – balanced!

“Sadness gives depth. Happiness gives height. Sadness gives roots. Happiness gives branches.
Happiness is like a tree going into the sky, and sadness is like the roots going down into the womb of the earth. Both are needed, and the higher a tree goes, the deeper it goes, simultaneously.
The bigger the tree, the bigger will be its roots. In fact, it is always in proportion.
That’s its balance.”
-Osho

Since Virgo rules the sixth house of the Kaal Purush Kundali – all the factors of the sixth house – such as resolving or creating disputes, fights in courts, problems from secret enemies, getting entangled in daily chores of life, becoming a victim or exploiting others – all of these come into picture when Rahu falls in Hasta Nakshatra.

Too much of thinking, analyzing and too much of applying logic sometimes drags the native into depression or frustration. So the first lesson is to avoid too much of thinking.

“GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD AND INTO YOUR HEART.
THINK LESS, FEEL MORE.”
-Osho

The deity of Hasta Nakshatra is Savitra. Savitra is one of the 12 SUN GODS. When you do SURYA NAMASAKAR – you recite all the 12 Surya Mantras – in these 12 Mantras – the 10th Mantra: Om Savitre Namaha – is salutation to this deity of Hasta – Savitra!

  1. Mantra: Om Mitraya Namaha
  2. Mantra: Om Ravaye Namaha
  3. Mantra: Om Suryaya Namaha
  4. Mantra: Om Bhanave Namaha
  5. Mantra: Om Khagaya Namaha
  6. Mantra: Om Pushn Namaha
  7. Mantra: Om Hiranya Garbhaya Namaha
  8. Mantra: Om Marichaye Namaha
  9. Mantra: Om Adityaya Namaha
  10. Mantra: Om Savitre Namaha
  11. Mantra: Om Arkaya Namaha
  12. Mantra: Om Bhaskaraya Namaha

Savitre means “impeller, rouser, vivifier.” he Sun before sunrise is called Savitr, and after sunrise until sunset it is called Sūrya. By reciting the holy Surya Mantra “Om Savitre Namaha” – you can appease the Nakshatra of Hasta since Savitre rules Hasta.

The sacred tree of Hasta Nakshatra is the tree of RITHA. RITHA is also known by the name – Indian soapberry. Virgo represents YOUTHFULNESS – that is why men and women born on VIRGO ascendant and VIRGO moon sign appear young throughout their life. The most basic sign of YOUTHFULNESS is the quality and color of your HAIR. RITHA helps you to maintain the color of your hair as well as it also strengthens your hair.

Hasta cannot sit idle. And Moon or Rahu in Hasta makes the matters more intense – the native is fully active and often becomes restless if there is no job or work or task at hand. For such natives the situation of being jobless or downfall of business is highly impacting – not just because it affects their income but also makes them inactive which they don’t like to be – they always want o remain active – rarely do these fellows retire in life – their motto is simple – keep working – keep doing something creative, constructive until the last breath of life.

Overall – Hasta  signify the intense desire of the person to produce something unique through their creative intellectuality – to create a masterpiece that would keep the world wondering….

I humbly prostrate before the highly creative Nakshatra of Hasta may Her blessings shower on me and all my followers.

The essence of Hasta is helping the world realize that through determination and persistence one can create many wonders.

It is necessary to remember that if you want to be taken seriously – be consistent. Consistency of efforts over the long run is everything. It is not that what we do once in our lifetime – it is what we do consistently that brings the transformation – the success and the joy that you seek.

Hasta is all about being consistent, at that is what matters at the end of the day – for success is not always about greatness, its about consistency.

“Continuous effort, not strength or intelligence, is the key to unlocking our potential.”
-Winston Churchill

More strength to all men and women born with Moon or Rahu in Hasta Nakshatra. Continue with your efforts, be consistent and you will attain success.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Mrigashira in Taurus Sign

Mrigashira is a very sexual Nakshatra. If a man or woman is born with Moon in Mrigashira Nakshatra and Mars is placed in the 7th, 11th or 12th – then definitely the person is too much inclined towards seeking many sexual pleasures. A woman having such a placement goes through many sexual affairs or rather many sexual adventures and so does a man having this type of placement.

Mars signify the sexual energy. And Rahu in Mar’s Mrigashira Nakshatra anyhow makes the sexual desires more fired up than otherwise!

Taurus zodiac sign individuals are anyhow more focused on seeking all kind of physical pleasures. And physical pleasures is possible when life is luxurious. Rahu in Mrigashira creates great urge for seeking a luxurious life. A girlfriend having Rahu in Mrigashira will generally NOT buy the story of lovers living in a hut – she just cannot imagine living in a hut – she is born to live in a Palace and not in a hut! She is born to enjoy all the pleasures of human life – especially sexual pleasures.

Mars is the sex energy – Venus is the pleasure that you attain through this sex energy. A highly talented and intelligent person is often found to be more sexual than otherwise. And so Rahu in Mrigashira Nakshatra often gives birth to talented, intelligent beings who by default happen to be more sexual than others.

“The more sexual a person is, the more intelligent. With less sex energy, less intelligence exists.”
-Osho

Sex energy or Mars is therefore NOT bad – provided you don’t hurt others or exploit others for your sexual needs.

Highly materialistic by nature – Rahu in Mrigashira fires up passion in relationship but sucks out emotions and feelings out of a relationship. In simple words – passionate sexual pleasures comes there way but in the process the love, the feelings, the emotions are missed, simply missed.

Mrigashira is a cruel Nakshatra. Meaning a woman or man born with Moon in Mrigashira Nakshatra will not bother to cut your throat if you come in their way or if you cheat them. They simply CANNOT forgive. They simply CANNOT Let Go. Rahu in Mrigashira makes matters more worse – leading to a very tragic life that is filled with many relationship break-ups and romantic sagas. Because of too much sexual hunger – the native may also get trapped or dragged in sexual scandals. Reminds me of Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton has Rahu in Mrigashira Nakshatra. Although his extra marital sexual affair with Monika Lewinsky is well known – still there must have been many such sexual affairs in his life that never came before the general public!

An intelligent person does have more sexual energy – but RAHU is such an entity – such a dangerous shadow that when it falls in a sexual intelligent nakshatra of Mrigashira – it simply makes you fall for many sexual temptations – and that is how you see someone as intelligent as Bill Clinton falling from grace due to many sexual affairs and scandals. On one end this Rahu in Mrigashira helped him attain the seat of US President while on the other hand – it also made him more sexual with absolutely no control on his sexual desires which ultimately led to his downfall.

Interestingly – Both – Bill and Hillary Clinton has Rahu in Taurus sign BUT – her Rahu is in Krittika Nakshatra whereas Bill’s Rahu is in Mrigashira Nakshatra – and so you see – she never was caught in any sexual scandal but Bill’s sexual affair with Monica Lewinsky became a national or rather an international topic of discussion among the masses! Rahu in Mrigashira – is indeed a sign of too much sexuality which if the native is unable to control then such scandals can breakout!

Although Bill Clinton became the most infamous President after the Monica Lewinsky scandal – still there was a time when he was the most famous President of the US – and probably the most intelligent leader of those times! He was instrumental in bringing peace between Israel and Palestine.

So you see – this is how Rahu in Mrig can be – on one end a great leader – on the other end a man fallen from grace due to his sexual desires.

Rahu in Mrigashira is more beneficial for those who are born on:

  • Pisces Ascendant
  • Sagittarius Ascendant
  • Cancer Ascendant
  • Taurus Ascendant
  • Virgo Ascendant
  • Capricorn Ascendant

Bill Clinton was born on Virgo Ascendant – Virgo anyways are like to flirt with opposite sex – and Bill had Rahu in Mrigashira – to add more spice to his love life!

Two extremes – on one end you see a very good man – on the other end you see a man defeated by his temptations!

Each one of us have a GOOD and BAD person within us. We all have two sides to our persona. The problem with RAHU in MRIG is that that unlike others – these men fall quickly to there temptations than the others!

Reminds me of a beautiful story – There was a young famous painter. He decided to create a truly great portrait, a lively portrait full of the joy of God, a portrait of a man whose eyes radiated eternal peace. And so, he set out to find someone whose face reflected that eternal, ethereal light.
The artist roamed from village to village, from jungle to jungle, in search of his subject, and at long last he came across a shepherd with shining eyes, with a face and features that held the promise of some celestial home. One look was enough to convince him that God was present in this young man.
The artist painted a portrait of the young shepherd. Millions of copies of the portrait were made and it sold far and wide. People felt great gratitude, just being able to hang the picture on their walls.
After a spell of some twenty years, when the artist had grown old, he decided to paint another portrait. His experience had shown him that life is not all goodness, that Satan also exists in man. The idea of painting a picture of Satan persisted; were he to fulfill the project, then the two pictures would complement each other, would show the complete man. He had already done a painting of godliness; now he wanted to portray evil incarnate. He sought a man who was not a man but Satan. He went to gambling dens, to bars and to madhouses. This subject had to be full of hell’s fire; his face had to show all that is evil, ugly and sadistic. After a long search, the artist finally met a prisoner in a jail. The man had committed seven murders and had been sentenced to be hanged in a few days. Hell was evident in the man’s eyes; they spouted hate. His face was the ugliest one could possibly hope to find. The artist began to paint him. When he had completed the portrait he brought out his earlier picture and set it by the side of the new painting for contrast. It was difficult to assess which was better from an artistic point of view; both were marvelous. He stood, staring at both of them. And then he heard a sob. He turned and saw the chained prisoner, crying. The artist was bewildered. He asked, “My friend, why are you crying? Do these pictures disturb you?”

The prisoner said, “I have been trying to hide something from you all this time, but today I am lost. You obviously do not know that the first picture is also of me. Both portraits are of me. I am the same shepherd you met twenty years ago in the hills. I cry for my downfall in the last twenty years. I have fallen from heaven to hell, from God to Satan.”

This is how the life of human beings is – at one point you are the GOOD SHEPHERD – and – at the other end you also become the TERRIBLE SATAN. Every man swings between these two extremes. Man can attain to either of these extremes, but most people are inclined towards the infernal. Those fortunate few who aspire to the eternal, who let godliness grow in them, are rare, very rare.

Nelson Mandela therefore says that “I am not a saint, unless you think of a saint as a sinner who keeps on trying.”

A SAINT is a SINNER who keeps TRYING. Very deep and beautiful words – which only an evolved soul can understand, can relate with.

Rahu in Mrig is a perfect example of a SINNER who keeps trying — trying to improve – trying to progress – trying to grow within – trying to mature as a person.

Once it happened. There was a young man – and he was such a beautiful person with a golden heart. But life was too harsh on him – he lost everything – he became homeless. He was in deep pain. He had fallen from his position, the whole world had condemned him, labelled him as a LOSER. While walking through the forest he came across a old man. And the old man seem to be someone special. His aura, His smile…there was something about this old man…the young man bowed before the old man and the old man smiled and said ” I know your situation….”
The young man was taken aback. He realized that the old man is not just an old man….he must be a master…a divine master…the young man started crying…and the master raised him up and said ” There is nothing wrong in falling….in life many times one falls but what makes him special is when he rise every time he falls. So don’t give up…I am with you…why you fear?”
The young man was touched. A great energy started flowing within his being…he said ” Master…I will go back and rise AGAIN.”
It is said that the young man went on to become the most successful man of his town. Everything is possible — only if you are NOT willing to give up.

“Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.”
-Confucius
Chinese Teacher, editor, politician and philosopher

Rahu in Mrigashira may and does push you to commit certain mistakes – certain misdoings to which the world calls SIN – however if JUPITER and SATURN is strong in your birth chart then you will be able to correct your mistakes.

So Rahu in Mrigashira can either help you to become wise – by rising again – by correcting your mistakes OR Rahu in Mrigashira simply makes you STUPID – because if you repeat the same mistake again and again then you simply become a stupid person!

“To commit mistakes is not wrong –commit as many mistakes as possible, because that is the way you will be learning more.
But don’t commit the same mistake again and again, because that makes you stupid.”
– Osho

During the tenure of President Donald Trump – many news of his sexual adventures were flashing in the news media – which seem to have some substance because Donald Trump also has RAHU in Mrig Nakshatra! Many sexual affairs – extra marital affairs, passionate sexual relationships – all of these comes naturally to a man having Rahu in Mrigashira. Look what Donald Trump says about his ‘adventures’!

“Beautiful, famous, successful, married – I have had them all, secretly – the world’s biggest names, but unlike Geraldo I don’t talk about it.” – Donald Trump

The more sexual energy – the more intelligence – or – let me put it this way – the more intelligence the more a person is sexual – the more sexual drive he or she has which is very natural and there is absolutely nothing wrong about it – it is a very natural process.

A highly talented person does have a good amount of intelligence as well as good amount of sexual drive.

Taurus is a sign that emphasizes much on the 5 human senses – eyesight, hearing, taste, touch and smell. Since they are more physical – than spiritual – then rely a lot on these 5 human senses which are very well developed within their being. They can easily smell the danger – the can easily sense the ‘intention’ of the touch, they can easily hear that which you may not hear – and they have excelled taste buds and a very good eyesight.

However Rahu in Mrigashira also provides the native with sixth sense. A person having sixth sense seem to have a natural ability to know about things before other people, or to know things that other people do not know.

Although sex and intense desire for having sexual pleasure is a weak point of Mrigashira Nakshatra and this weak point becomes more weak with Rahu in Mrigashira – still you all should remember that the most beautiful point of this placement is that the native is very intelligent and because of this intelligence – he or she builds a successful career and eventually is recognized as a successful person in life.

To become successful – you need CONFIDENCE. And to gain CONFIDENCE – you need to have the taste of success in your life. CONFIDENCE and SUCCESS goes hand in hand – to attain success you need to have confidence and to attain confidence you need to become successful!

“Confidence breeds success and success breeds confidence… Confidence applied properly surpasses genius.”
-Mike Tyson

Many people lack confidence because the quality of their PAST KARMA and PRESENT KARMA is poor compared to the others. POOR means what? Poor means the native has NOT taken any efforts to turn inwards – to meditate – to recite the holy scriptures – to chant the Lord’s holy name – NOTHING he or she has done and so it is obvious that when you don’t pay attention to your SELF GROWTH – you are bound to live your life with low confidence. Always remember – only that man and only that woman is worthy of living who has taken the first step towards SELF GROWTH. Self Growth is possible only when you start turning inwards – when you start spending quality time with your self by chanting – by meditating every day.

“Daily meditation promotes self confidence, peace of mind and strong faith in God.”
-Lailah Galty Akita

You need to take efforts – but people are shallow – the majority is shallow – they don’t want to listen – they want some readymade solution – they forget the fact that real life solutions and remedies are NOT readymade – real life solutions are not FAST FOOD – they are the ‘REAL FOOD’ – food that brings self-growth – and progress in life comes with self-growth and not otherwise.

“There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that’s your own self.”
-Aldous Huxley

Taurus is a sign that always loves to take efforts. That is one great quality of Taurus natives which is truly applaudable. And Rahu in Mrigashira definitely fires up this good quality of taking efforts. They always are working on themselves – their slogan of life is “I am working on myself.”

There are many regional names for Mrigshira Nakshatra – however the most beautiful regional name for Mrigshira is – Atmaja (आत्मजा:).

Atmaja meaning – self-originated, originating from intellect. Intellect or intellectualism therefore comes in abundance to Mrigshira Nakshatra and Rahu simply fuels in the intellect thus making the native highly intellectual being.

Taurus is not necessarily a social person however they like to talk, they like to move in groups – and they generally like a lot of activities – they like to learn by practical demonstrations rather than theories and long lectures.

Tracking, Seeking, Searching, Investigating – you see – all of these are activities and Mrigashira loves all kind of such activities that include movement and action. If you have a girlfriend having Rahu in Mrigashira then she would definitely like to see you expressing your love through action – through kissing – smooching and not just by being poetic – that’s too boring for them – they want action – real action!

Rahu in Mrigashira likes it when the lover expressing his or her love through a kiss – or a tight hug!

Remember – Mrigashira, Chitra and Dhanistha – all the three Nakshatras of Mars dwell in earthy signs – Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Mars is physical and therefore Rahu Mrigashira in a pleasure seeking sign of Taurus – simply fires up the carnal feelings and desires.

A woman or man born with Moon in Mrigashira or Rahu in Mrigashira will definitely do well in the society – they will earn, they will acquire the luxuries of life and they will usually rise in position – in status because they are practical – aggressive and very demanding (Rahu) by nature.

Mrigashira is sexual and on top of that the deity of Mrigashira Nakshatra is SOMA meaning the MOON GOD. And Moon is also highly sexual by nature. I have always been stating that the MIND is sexual by default. It is said that all the 27 Nakshatras are the wives of Moon – so you can imagine how much sexual – the Moon is – the Mind is!

The ancient sages mention that Mercury’s father is Moon. Moon had an affair with the wife of Jupiter and from that passionate sexual affair – Mercury was born. It is said that Moon received a curse from Lord Ganesh because of his immoral behavior. The curse manifested in form of eclipses – Moon eclipse – Chandra Grahan!

However Moon is also worshipped as God. Moon brings nourishment – that is why Moon is often related to a Mother because a Mother also brings nourishment to her child! Moon is caring by nature and a mother is also caring by nature. One who worships Moon – one who recites the mantra of Moon – definitely is blessed by Mrigashira Nakshatra and one who is blessed by Mrigashira Nakshatra – is blessed with all kind of pleasures. There are total 14 pleasures in this human world that Bentham – a great philosopher has came up with and they are as follows:

  1. The pleasures of sense
  2. The pleasures of wealth
  3. The pleasures of skill
  4. The pleasures of amity
  5. The pleasures of a good name
  6. The pleasures of power
  7. The pleasures of piety
  8. The pleasures of benevolence
  9. The pleasures of malevolence
  10. The pleasures of memory
  11. The pleasures of imagination
  12. The pleasures of expectation
  13. The pleasures dependent on association
  14. The pleasures of relief

A man or a woman who worships Lord Moon – is blessed with all of these 14 pleasures of human life.

And if you want to directly contact the BOSS of LORD MOON – then you must visit the great holy temple of SOMANATH! Somanath means the Master (Nath) of Moon (Soma). And who is the master of Moon?

LORD SHIVA.

Moon is always found on the head of Lord Shiva. It simply means that Lord Shiva has the MIND under HIS command! And so my fellows if you too want to bring your MIND under your command then start worshipping the LORD of LORDS – MAHADEVA – LORD SHIVA!

Doing a SOLA SOMAVAR VRAT is highly beneficial if you want to overcome the many difficulties of your life. SOLA (meaning sixteen) SOMAVAR (Monday) means fasting on 16 Mondays – and worshipping Lord Shiva by chanting HIS holy Mantra:

“AUM NAMAHA SHIVAYA” – 108 times 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening using a Sphatik Japamala with diamond cut.

On general terms – I encourage all my followers, readers and listeners to use Sphatik Japamala with diamond cut for chanting as that is the most beneficial japamala for a family person. Just by wearing this beautiful Japamala of Crystal Quartz – you will start feeling relaxed and it is only when you relax that your health starts improving and with good health comes good wealth – it is all inter connected – it is all LinkedIn. 🙂

The sacred tree that comes under Mrigashira Nakshtara is – the million dollar tree called Ebony tree. It is called million dollar tree because the wood of this tree is one of the most valuable and expensive woods in the world. Hence, the reason behind the million-dollar title. Ebony wood is valued for its rich black color, smooth texture and aesthetic appeal. Ebony tree is called आबनूस in Hindi language. Ebony wood is black and very rich in its texture. In Marathi language it is called काळे लाकुड, शिसव.

If you have Rahu in Mrigashira or if you are born with Moon in Mrigashira Nakshatra then you should plant the ebony tree in your garden or a bonsai ebony tree in your clay pot. The more you nurture this plant the more you will receive the blessings of Mrigashira.

I earnestly prostrate before the Nakshatra of Pleasures – it is necessary that in this human life – we all receive all kind of pleasures because a man hungry, starving for pleasures cannot progress to the NEXT level – the spiritual level! One has to go experience all kind of pleasures so as to proceed ahead to the higher levels of this human life – and so seeking pleasures is NOT bad however getting STUCK in pleasures of this material world is wrong as that stops you from growing spiritually and the whole essence of my sharing is simply to motivate all my readers and followers to grow spiritually – real growth – your real age is based on how many years you have spend in knowing yourself – in meditation – in chanting the name of the Lord!

With my birthday coming on 15th November – I am also going to meditate on how useful my life has been others and how much time I have spend in realizing myself? It is a question that each one of you must ask yourself – for it is only this question that will turn you inwards – it is only this question that will help you to find the many answers that you seek in your life!

“Your own Self-Realization is the greatest service you can render the world.”
-Ramana Maharshi

Focus on your SELF – turn inwards and let the ‘journey’ begin.

Ashwini, Magha, Moola: Ketu’s Nakshatras

Ashwini Nakshatra falls in Aries. In Aries – Ketu is in the mood of fighting battles, action oriented, rough, rash driving and all sorts of adventures. In Aries – Ketu takes action first and then thinks later. In a spiritual point of view – such a person is always welcomed by the master. Because that is exactly what the Master wants – a disciple who is ready to jump first and think later. Or to put it in Sant Kabir’s words – a man who is ready to cut his head (meaning drop his logic)! Kabir says – only that man can join him who is ready to cut his head. Peter the fisherman must have been a Ashwini Ketu man – because he meets Jesus for the very first time in his life – he is not even aware who Jesus is – but he could see that there is something divine in the eyes of Jesus – and so when Jesus says “Follow Me – I will make you the fisher of Men” – Peter, the fisherman simply drops everything – and starts following Jesus! He is not even bothered about his business – he simply jumps into the unknown and becomes an ardent follower of Jesus! Ashwini is just like this – this Ketu Nakshatra of Ashwini is actually very clean hearted and highly adventurous by nature. Ashwini brings a certain innocence which attracts the blessings of the Guru! Always remember – Innocence is the door; through innocence you enter into beauty. The more innocent you become, the more existence becomes beautiful. Do you know – why Lord Shiva loves Nandi so much? Nandi is a Bull and the most striking quality of a bull is his innocence. Lord Shiva is the epitome of innocence and Nandi – the Bull is also very innocent and look at his dedication towards Shiva – he is always facing the Shiv Lingam – always meditating on the name of Shiva! Innocence comes only to a man who is walking on the spiritual path with absolutely no agenda. Ashwini is just like that – Ketu’s Ashwini has absolutely no agenda – it can simply strike just the way a missile strikes. The missile never decides on whom to strike – similarly Ketu’s Ashwini never has its own say – it is always led by others who try to manipulate or direct them. Depending on the quality of the chart this Ashwini missile will strike – it can strike Gold or it can also strike people and cause much bloodshed.

So in Ashwini – Ketu’s Avatar is of Lord Shiva in His Tandava Avatar!

Magha Nakshatra falls in Leo – a sign of glamour, and power. Here Ketu is well settled and loves to operate in a commanding position. Either this can lead to a commanding chief or a great spiritual master who has mastered himself. Magha is where the intelligence of Ketu shines forth. Ketu is the very source of intelligence because Ketu pulls you inwards – your inward journey begins only by the grace of Guru who uses the energy of Ketu to initiate you on the Buddha Path – the Spiritual Path! And so Magha is indeed the most intelligent Nakshatra of all 27 Nakshatras and that is why it is also referred as the seat of supreme power. Power dwells only where divine intelligence dwells. Intelligence is Power. And that’s Magha – the Nakshatra of Ketu is directly connected with the sign of authority – Leo. When Sun and Ketu are positive in the chart then Magha can bring much fame and power in life. MAGHA is a real taskmaster! Magha becomes the seat of Ketu – where He sits and does what he does at His Best – the evolution of Spiritualism! Here the spirituality of Ketu evolves – Magha’s intelligence finds the limelight and brings recognition in society. Leo is a sign of Intelligence. Aquarius is a sign of intellectuality. In the sign of Leo – Ketu’s nakshatra – Magha is found. Magha is the seat of intelligence. And one who is intelligent is the real King. Intelligence is true power.

In the sign of Aquarius – Rahu’s nakshatra – Shatabhisha dwells. Shatabhisha is the Seat of intellectualism. And one who is intellectual is never able to attain the state of ultimate consciousness. Intelligence is of the heart – Leo is the sign of Heart and it is in Leo that Ketu has a very prominent role to play – through His Nakshatra – Magha! Intellectualism is of the Head – Aquarius is the sign of Head and it is in Aquarius that Rahu has a very prominent role to play – through His Nakshatra – Shatabhisha! The real work (Spiritual progress) happens through Magha. Magha therefore remains a highly transformative nakshatra – much happens through Magha!

Moola Nakshatra is the highest peak of Ketu. Here Ketu is simply not interested in silly adventures and power games. Rather here – Ketu is interested in exploring the higher meaning of life. And higher meaning of life is realized only when you go through the fire of suffering. And so suffering has a noble purpose – the the evolution of consciousness and the burning up of the ego. And that’s why Moola have to become a strict master who would make you go through all kind of difficult exams just so that you evolve to greater heights of consciousness and your ego is burned up totally. Moola therefore is the highest Nakshatra – because nobody would like to do such a touch job which Moola does – the job of making you suffer so that you evolve and come face to face with the reality of life. Common people, less evolved souls fear Moola – because they want a typical comfortable life – they forget the fact that nothing ever grows in comfort zones! If you see back in the history – then you will find that all great men and women have had to go through many sufferings – they never had the comfort zones and red carpets – they had to make their own way – they had to make their own mark in this human world. Moola is therefore also called as the Cutting Machine – because it simply cuts all that is unnecessary. It simply shares a message with you and the message is that – much has to be cut only the essential has to be kept. And so to understand what is essential – Moola brings you to the point where you stop looking outward and start looking inwards – that is how your inward journey begins and then as your self inquiry grows – as your start meditating – as you start chanting – you realize what is essential and the rest you simply drop by choice. It all depends on what level of horoscope you have – if you have a typical baniya level horoscope meaning materialistic horoscope then Moola may not suit your system and then you may simply become frustrated. However if your horoscope is spiritually inclined then Moola can truly work wonders in your life – ofcourse Moola will do its job of taking you through a roller coaster and giving you many sufferings but those sufferings and experiences would eventually become a blessing in disguise. A day comes when you simply transform into a wise person – a much matured person.

So if you observe closely – then the whole journey of Ketu’s Nakshatras starting from Aries, Leo and Sagittarius is to simply bring you face to face with the reality of human life. It is to help you realize that this whole circus of human life is useless and there is no end to desires – after one desire ends – another desire would arise and you would be always seen standing in the queue of desires! So the message of Ketu is very loud and clear – Start turning inwards – because true lasting happiness is not to be found on the outside but inside you. Those who have listened to this message have truly evolved in their life and those who haven’t are still living a life of many miseries and frustrations. It always depends on the level of your antenna – if your antenna is in good shape – you will be able to tune in to the channel of Ketu and if your antenna is of poor quality – then all you will see is a error messages on the screen of your life.

Love to all my close followers. I will be soon starting an interactive podcast session on Ketu’s Nakshatras – you are all welcome to participate by reaching out to me.
