Whatever is to happen will happen, no matter what you do, and whatever is not to happen will not happen, no matter what you do. So the best course is to stay silent – says the great spiritual master Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi. “Stay silent” is in itself a great achievement. Because usually, the mind is never willing to stay silent. The nature of the mind is to jump from one end to the other end, meaning the mind is always restless. And so the whole focus comes on the Moon Chart since the Moon signifies Mind in Astrology. When Bhagavan says “staying silent” – he gives you the secret key to real progress. How I will explain.

If you don’t stay silent, and you continue to react to every situation, then every reaction will lead you into a new karmic cycle. For example – you were denied justice – so then if you take justice into your own hands, then you are creating a new karmic cycle for yourself.

Always remember – 99% of the human population is unable to alter their destiny because they simply don’t take any efforts towards their self-growth, or towards correcting their past life karmic pattern. They simply come into this human world and follow their karmic path and die. There is absolutely no awareness – no efforts towards raising the level of their consciousness – they simply live in ignorance, and they also die in ignorance. And so it is widely accepted that nobody can alter the course of destiny.

But if you learn to stay silent, then you can alter the course of your destiny. And the most important point is that you will be able to stay silent only when you raise the level of your awareness, consciousness by accepting all that is happening in and around your life. When your consciousness expands – you realize the reasons for your current life situation. You realize that it is your past life bad karmas that are now coming back to haunt you and to make you pay for your bad karmas.

One should understand that KARMA is a very long cycle – a cycle of many births – so it is obvious that the life we are living at PRESENT is just a small part of our PAST KARMA – because in a max life of 120 years – one cannot go through the thousand years of his or her KARMIC dues!

And so the SMALL PART OF PAST KARMA that we LIVE NOW is called PRARABHDA KARMA.

Whereas the ACCUMULATED KARMA of our many PAST LIVES is called SANCHIT KARMA.

In this LIFE – we all live based on the small part of PAST KARMA – called PRARABHDA KARMA. This PRARABHDA KARMA is seen through your THIS LIFE BIRTH CHART.

In the life of Gautam Buddha – many people came and insulted him, hurt him, but he remained silent because he had attained the state of enlightenment, he knew that all the pain and suffering that came his way had something to do with his past life cycles.

Once it happened – Buddha was meditating when a man came and spat on him. Ananda was present, he could not control himself. He said, “ I will not leave this man in one piece.”

Buddha said, “ Ananda – he is insulting me and not you. So you don’t interfere. He has not spat on your body. This is my body. Secondly, just look at him, in what great trouble he is – just look at the man! Feel compassion for him. He wants to say something to me, but words are inadequate – that is my problem, my whole life’s problem. And I see him in the same situation. I want to relate things to you that I have come to know, but I cannot relate them because words are inadequate. And this man is in the same boat; he is so angry that no words can express his anger – just as I am in so much love that no word, no act can express it! I see this man’s difficulty, hence he has spat. Just see – he has so much of ANGER for me – that he has no words to express, and so he has spat on me – I can understand him, let him do what he wants to, you remain quiet.”

The man was listening – he could not believe his ears. He was taken aback. He thought Buddha will get angry, he thought Buddha will react – but Buddha was in peace, in his own bliss – the man was moved – his heartbeat was no more the same, it was beating fast with embarrassment – he fell upon Buddha’s feet and started crying – he said, “ I am very sorry – it was absolute stupidity on my part to spit on you – on a holy divine man like you. You are something else – you are different – I have never seen a man like you – I haven’t seen anybody of your caliber – please forgive me…”

Buddha said, “ There is no question of forgiving. Forgiving is required when you have done something wrong – and I don’t see you doing anything wrong – you have just expressed your ANGER by spitting on me. And now also your expressing yourself. The difference is that NOW – your expression has evolved from AWARENESS – and the moment you become AWARE – you start cleansing your KARMA. So forget about it. The man you spat upon is no more, and the man who spat is no more. You are new, I am new! Look – this rising sun is new. Everything is new. And how can I forgive you? You never spat on me. You spat on somebody who has departed.”

The moment AWARENESS comes – IGNORANCE departs. Buddha says, “The moment you become AWARE – you start cleansing your KARMA.” The man was no more the same – he had changed – he had transformed – his heart was now filled with LOVE! Once you fall in love with Buddha – you start turning inward. Because love is contagious – what you love is what you become. Whom you follow is what you become. You will follow only *that* – which is also flowering within you! AWARENESS was now flowering within the man who spat on Buddha – and it had transformed him inside-out – he became the most devoted disciple of Buddha – a lover of Buddha! It is said that when Buddha left his body – he was the one who cried the most!

With AWARENESS – KARMA can be cleansed, WITH AWARENESS – LIFE can be transformed. If you are living your life with CONSCIOUSNESS – then it doesn’t matter whether you are a Sikh, Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, or Hindu – you are as beautiful as the beautiful rose that you see in the garden!

From the very beginning of time – Astrology has been a subject of great interest for people across the globe – irrespective of what faith they follow!

From the STONE AGE – the curiosity of the sky and the stars have been existing.

Astrology was and is studied and practiced by Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, and Hindus – all alike – simply because it is a science that knows no religion, it simply knows only one religion – the religion of CONSCIOUSNESS!

And so the answer to correcting the future course of your life cycle is in raising the level of your consciousness. Through consciousness, you can correct your moon chart. The moon chart is the only chart that matters the most in the affairs of human life. Because the Moon signifies the Mind and the human population is ruled by their Mind. And so whenever there are difficult transits such as Rahu transit or Mars transit or Saturn transit or Sun transit over the natal Moon, and if Sade Sati is also running, and on top of all these happenings – if you are also going through Rahu or Ketu Mahadasha, then it is obvious that your Moon chart is spoiled, meaning your state of mind is not going to be in good shape until your time changes for good. So now you may ask the most obvious question – “How to prevent the deterioration of your Moon chart – essentially, the condition of your mind from worsening?”

And the answer is simple because truth is simple, God is simple, love is simple. The answer is – “Through consistent mantra japa you can prevent the deterioration of your Moon chart – essentially the condition of your mind from worsening.” It is a simple remedy but extremely powerful for those who are willing to listen and implement it in their daily lives.

So what happens when you chant mantra daily? By daily chanting of a specific mantra – you are able to STILL the wavering mind. When the mind becomes STILL – you are in the best position to face all kinds of situations by remaining silent and not reacting. Lao Tzu – the great spiritual master says – To a mind that is STILL – the whole universe is available. And so through constant repetition of mantra the mind can be controlled. Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi says – “By repetition of mantras, the mind gets controlled. Then the mantra becomes one with the mind and also with the prana \[the energy that sustains the body]. When the syllables of the mantra become one with the prana, it is termed dhyana, and when dhyana becomes deep and firm it leads to sahaja sthiti \[the natural state].”

Now many people when they start with their chanting practice – they tend to chant with a specific goal. Always remember mantra chanting should be non-goal oriented. If you start chanting with a specific goal and if you are in a rush, then nothing will ever manifest in your life. Since there is a backlog of many of your past life negative traits and bad karma – to cleanse all the past life karmic cycles and negative traits – it is going to take a lot of years. And while the cleansing process is happening if you indulge in any new negative karma, then that will delay the process further. And so the whole process of cleansing and coming to a state of higher consciousness is possible only by the grace of the Guru. Without Guru nothing is possible. With the Guru everything is possible. That’s why Sant Kabir says that if “God and Guru appear before me, then first I will prostrate before my Guru. Since it is my Guru who introduced God in my life. Meaning it was only through my Guru that I was able to experience God.”

God is nothing but the ultimate consciousness. But for you to embark on your spiritual journey it is necessary that the Mind is first purified. Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi quotes – “Plunge the purified mind into the heart. Then the work is over. This is the essence of all spiritual discipline.”

And so my fellows – everything comes down to your Moon Chart since the state of your mind is signified by the state of your Moon Chart. That is why all the transit of planets need to be seen through the Moon chart. That is why Shani Saade Sati is triggered when Saturn comes close to your Moon. Your Mahadasha is also based on your Moon sign Nakshatra. And so all the good events and bad events are triggered only through the transits that happen in your Moon chart. If you focus on enhancing the quality of your Moon chart by daily chanting a specific mantra and doing a minimum of 20 minutes of meditation, then slowly you will be able to make much improvement in your Moon chart leading to a much beautiful and rewarding life. Lahiri Mahasaya – the Guru of Shri Yukteshwar Giri used to say “Banat Banat Ban Jaye” meaning “Slowly Slowly you attain perfection” and so all you need is consistency. Many people are unable to be consistent in their chanting practice because their past life bad karma comes to stop them from doing consistent chanting. But it is through determination and deep faith that you need to continue chanting – no matter what. Your past life bad karma or present life bad karma may raise many doubts in your mind – may distract you – may plant many negative thoughts in your mind – but you should not pay attention to any of these games – instead, you should simply continue to chant on a daily basis. To make things easier – you can also start wearing the gemstone of your moon sign lord. I have always mentioned that there is absolutely no problem in wearing the gemstone of your moon sign lord – irrespective of which house it belongs to. By wearing the gemstone of your moon sign lord – you will be able to provide much strength to your mind. Mental strength is required to control the mind. And so if you are struggling due to poor mental strength, then please start wearing the gemstone of your moon sign lord without having any doubts in your mind.

To control the mind – it is necessary that when you start chanting – you focus on your breathing. Just by doing so – you will be able to attain the state of no mind – and in that no mind state, you continue to chant the mantra.

Every Saint has a past and every Sinner has a future. Because at some stage the Saint that you see today was also a sinner and at some stage in the near future the sinner that you see today will also become a great saint someday. And history has been a witness to such great transformations – Ratnakar was a thief and a murderer, but time came when the same Ratnakar was transformed and became Saint Valmiki. The same Saint Valmiki who scripted the greatest scriptures of all time – the Valmiki Ramayana! Saul murdered many Christians. Saul used to hate Jesus. But one day he too was transformed and to remember his moment of transformation he changed his name from Saul to Paul and this is how Saint Paul emerged. And it was this Saint Paul who built many churches in Europe. And there are many such real-life examples and so no matter how bad your Moon chart is now – you can improve, you can change, you can rise – remember the real glory is not in never falling but rising every time you fail.

How transformation happens? And the answer is when you start living your life in total surrender. Ratnakar surrendered to Narad Muni, and Narad Muni gave him a Mantra to chant and Ratnakar took to chanting and within few years he was no more the same – he transformed and attained enlightenment – he came to be known as Saint Valmiki. Saul also surrendered to Jesus. He used to cause much trouble to Christians but one day while walking he fell on the ground and lost his eyes. He became blind, he started bleeding – and then some Christians carried him to Jesus. And Jesus was such a beautiful man – he moved his hands over those bleeding eyes and Saul got back his eyes – he could now see Jesus standing before him – he started crying – he fell on Jesus’s feet and said, “Forgive me – forgive me for all my stupidity” And Jesus raised him up – gave him a hug and said, “Why you cry? You have arrived.” And that is how Saul became Saint Paul. In Christian religion also there is a practice of chanting specific verses of the Bible. Even the Jews chant specific verses of the Torah – a holy book containing the teachings of Moses. And so chanting has been a practice across all religions and faiths and it is an open secret that has been known to many but the larger question is – who is willing to listen? who is willing to implement?

And so if you are listening, if you are implementing the daily course of chanting mantra in your life then I tell you – there is absolutely no need to worry – your mind will not only attain strength but will also merge in the mantra and then instead of the mind – it is the mantra that will take over and then the journey of joy begins, then the dance, the bliss, the love starts welling up in your heart – this is the way of its happening – this is how it happens – you just need to get started.

The horoscope ITSELF is called as Kundali in Indian context! Through your question — I would like to mention to all my followers and readers that Astrology is NOT different or separate from Spirituality. Astrology is a very small part of the vast cosmic world called the Spiritual world. Every human being comes with a Kundali ( divine energy)— but very few are able to AWAKEN the Kundali! 90% of the human population takes birth with a Kundali that remains asleep till they eventually die. 5% is behind awakening the Kundali. And the remaining 5% are NOT bothered about any awakening or any Kundalini awakening — they are simply lovers of God. They continue to sing the song of the Lord, chant HIS name and eventually it is these 5% who reach the stage of awakening — enlightenment. Because they simply loved — they never had any goal or agenda — they are the Buddha, the Jesus, the Mahavira, the Nanak Baba.

It is said that Mahakasayap was the first enlightened disciple of Buddha. He never asked a single question to Buddha. The other disciples said “ You never ask any questions — why?”

Mahakasayap said “ You all are right. It is true that I came all the way to seek answers, to seek enlightenment but when I met the master — just his omnipresence was enough. Just his voice, his smile and I simply allowed his words to penetrate my being. I lost all interest in asking any questions.”

And one day Mahakasayap became enlightened! And he laughed. Buddha said “ Why you laughed?” And Mahakasayap said “ Because I wanted to be the last one to attain enlightenment but I have become the first.”

That is how it is. When you are in love with the master — when you forgot about the destination and enjoy each moment in the presence of the master then and only then someday you attain — some birth you attain and even then you remain like a child — like Mahakasayap who simply laughed — a blissful laugh!

Always remember – and I specifically mention it for my close followers and readers – that you should learn to enjoy the journey (life) by living moment to moment – by bringing your MIND to the PRESENT moment – to the NOW moment. Only that man and only that woman is truly a spiritual being who is able to BE HERE NOW. Only that person can attain spiritual enlightenment who is NOT focused on attaining enlightenment but is focused on living moment to moment – experiencing each moment 100%. It is only when you are able to BE HERE NOW that you can enjoy things with total intensity.

“Just forget all about enlightenment. Enjoy simple things with total intensity. Just a cup of tea can be a deep meditation. If you can enjoy it, the aroma of it, slowly sipping it, the taste of it who cares about God? – Osho

Kabir wants seekers who are INTENSE. Baba Farid wants seekers who are INTENSE. Your intensity matters and not your belief!

Buddha says to his disciples ‘’Don’t waste your time talking with believers. Save your time for seekers because a seeker can JUMP into the unknown – a seeker can RISK all and even his life – a seeker is a totally different phenomena – he never asks “Whether God exists?’’ instead he asks ‘’Show me the way to experience God.’’ – I want seekers and not believers.’’

Every HOROSCOPE is DIVINE – that is how the ancient seers named it as KUNDALI – (the divine energy (consciousness) that dwells in human body! Nowadays horoscopes are no more read in paper copy format but still I fold my hands before reading any horoscope – no matter whose it is – because the KUNDALI (divine energy — consciousness) exists in every human being – the only difference is that most of them are totally asleep (ignorant).

For me – that man and that woman is of great worth – who is NOT behind any YOGA – who is not behind attaining enlightenment – but who is simply happy to sing a song in praise of the Lord – just the way Meera used to sing in praise of Lord Krishna!

There are many ways to reach God but the most beautiful way indeed is the path of LOVE and DEVOTION – Bhakti Marg!

“On the path of devotion, remember, you are never alone.”

The usual FEAR is that – what if I will be left ALONE? But to a devoted woman, to a devoted man – this FEAR never exists. Such a man – such a woman realize the difference between being ALONE and being LONELY.

Loneliness is the misery of missing the other. Aloneness is positive, loneliness is negative. When you feel lonely – it means you are missing someone – your happiness is dependent on someone. The state of being alone is the state of being rooted deeply within!

Always remember loneliness is sad – aloneness is blissful!

Only a man who is capable of being alone – can truly love.

Avatar Meher Baba identifies the 5 Perfect Masters of HIS times – here is a brief introduction of the 5 great spiritual masters. I humbly prostrate before all the five masters as I share the many insightful moments of their life…..

1. HAZRAT BABAJAN

A beautiful picture of Hazrat Babajan – the Emperor – the Messiah whose grace and love – is still experienced by many devotees who visit her Dargah (shrine). It is not only the men who have attained the peak of enlightenment but also several women — who have revolutionized the world with their divine message. One of them is Hazrat Babajan. She was born in Baluchistan. Her birth name was “GULRUKH” (which means “Face like a Rose”). She was born to a Royal Muslim Family of Baluchistan. Following the conventions of Afghan nobility, Babajan was reared under the strict purdah tradition, in which women were secluded from the outside world, and also subject to a custom of arranged marriages. She opposed an unwelcome marriage planned for her, and ran away from home on her wedding day at the age of eighteen. Disguised in her burqa, she journeyed to Peshawar, the frontier city at the foot of the Khyber Pass. It was in or near Peshawar that she eventually came into contact with a Hindu sadguru. Following instruction from the guru, “she went into seclusion in a nearby mountain outside Rawalpindi and underwent very severe [riyazat] (spiritual austerities) for nearly seventeen months.Thereafter she came down to [the] Punjab and stayed a few months in Multan. It was in Multan, while [Babajan] was 37 years of age, she contacted a Muslim saint … who put end to her spiritual struggle by giving her God-realization.”

After that experience she returned to Rawalpindi to reconnect with the Hindu guru who, after several years, helped her return to normal consciousness. After a second stay in Rawalpindi with her earlier Hindu master, Babajan embarked on several long journeys through the Middle Eastern countries Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq. “It is said that she traveled to Mecca disguised as a man [apparently to avoid detection] by way of Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey and doubling back into Arabia.” At the Kaaba, she offered salat (prayers) five times a day, always sitting at one selected spot. While in Mecca, Babajan often gathered food for the poor and personally nursed pilgrims who had fallen ill. From Mecca, Babajan made pilgrimage to the tomb of the Islamic prophet Muhammad in Medina, where she adopted the same routine of offering prayers and caring for fellow pilgrims. Leaving Arabia, she passed through Baghdad, Iraq and back to the Punjab. She then traveled south to Nasik and established herself in Panchavati. From Nasik, Babajan travelled to Bombay, where she stayed for some time and her fame grew. In April 1903, she made a second pilgrimage to Mecca, this time sailing from Bombay on the SS Haidari. About 1904, Babajan returned to Bombay and soon afterward proceeded to Ajmer in northern India to pay homage at the tomb of the Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti who established the Chishti Order of Islam in India. From Ajmer she again returned to Bombay and then soon after traveled east to Pune. By 1905 Babajan arrived in Pune, where she established her final residence. Now an old woman, her back slightly bent, shoulders rounded, with white matted hair, and shabbily dressed, she “was seen sitting or resting at odd places, in different parts of the City.” Babajan finally located to a slum area called Char Bawdi (Four Wells) on Malcolm Tank Road, part of a British Army cantonment. The Char Bawdi area at that time has been described as “a picture of dirt, desolation and ugliness, a breeding spot of plague and pestilence and a regular haunt of dangerous riff-raffs by night.” After several months’ exposure to the natural elements, Babajan grudgingly allowed her devotees to build a basic shelter of gunny sacks above her. Children were in the habit of throwing stones at her. She was a homeless faqir; she knew how they lived. The gifts from her devotees were shared among the poor and destitute, and in some instances stolen from her by thieves.[19] She remained indifferent to the material offerings or the loss. Gradually, out of devotion, or mere curiosity, increasing numbers of people from Pune and elsewhere sought her out. Several alleged miracles have been attributed to Babajan. According to one observer, within a decade of Babajan taking residence “the Char Bawdi locality underwent a metamorphosis surpassing all expectations. What with the featural changes in the buildings all around, electrified tea-shops ringing with the clatter of cups and saucers, a concourse of peoples consisting of all ranks and creeds waiting for Babajan’s darshan, a street bard entertaining the crowd with his music, the beggars clamoring for alms, easy-going idlers standing indiscriminately hampering vehicular traffic and the whole atmosphere heavily laden with sweet burning incense perpetually kept burning near Babajan, presented a scene typically Eastern, leaving an indelible impression on one’s memory.” That is how the presence of a great master can transform an utterly deserted area into the most beautiful area of the town. And that is how a true master can transform a sinner into a saint – a mad man into an enlightened being. On 21st September 1931, one of the greatest saint – Her Holiness and the perfect Master Hazarat Babajan left her mortal body. She died. And when she died, Babajan said, “It is time … time for me to leave now. The work is over … I must close the shop.” One of the devotees pleaded, “Do not say such things Babajan, we need you with us.”

But she cryptically replied, “Nobody, nobody wants my wares. Nobody can afford the price. I have turned my goods over to the Proprietor.”

Today – Hazarat Babajan’s Dargah (shrine) is located at the same place where she spend most of her days – in Camp locality – the very heart of Pune city. However before leaving her body – she has transferred her great powers and blessings to one young man and His name was Merwan Sheriar Irani, a Parsi young boy who must have been 19 years old at that time when he met Babajan for the first time. It happened so that was riding his bicycle on the way to class at Deccan College, when he looked up and saw an old woman sitting under a neem tree surrounded by a crowd. He had past from the same road on previous occasions but had never paid much attention to her, though he was aware that she was regarded by some as a Muslim saint. Soon he started visiting her. they would sit together yet seldom spoke. One night during January 1914, he was about to leave, and before doing so kissed Babajan’s hands, and she in turn held his face in her hands. She then kissed him on the forehead, during which he received her spiritual grace (barakah).The event subsequently left Merwan Irani in a state of coma in which he remained abstracted from his normal surroundings for nearly nine months.This young man Merwan Sheriar Irani later became known as Avtar Meher Baba. For one year continuously the kiss remained on him and he was in a coma. It may happen suddenly like this. This was a great transfer, and Hazrat Babajan died afterward because she had just been waiting for this moment to give someone the whole energy. This was her last life, and there was not enough time even to explain what she was giving. And also, she was not the type to have explained. She was a silent mystic. She had not touched anybody for years. She was only waiting for this moment when she was to kiss someone and the whole energy was to be transferred in a single transfer. Before this, she had not even touched anyone, so this touch was to be total. When the divine touch – when the realization – when the enlightenment happens – all actions stop. Because desires no more exist. Many desires will drop and many actions also. Those actions which were just caused by desires will drop. If I was running for a particular desire, how can I run if the desire has dropped? My running will stop. At least the same running on the same route will stop. So when a person becomes desireless, at least for an interim period, for an interval – and how long it will be will depend on the individual – he will become inactive. The desires will have dropped – and all the actions that he had been doing were concerned with desires, so how can he continue? They will drop. One may also go into a coma. That is how Meher Baba – with that divine touch of Hazrat Babajan – went into a coma – because all desires vanished with that one divine kiss – and when there is absolutely NO DESIRE – there is NO ACTION – you almost go into a deep sleep to which the world may address as Coma! After one year of coma, Meher Baba opens his eyes – his eyes are the same but now his perspective towards life has changed – everything around him is the same – but he is no more the same – great spiritual energy – a great light has come to his heart – the transferring has happened – spontaneously – with just one divine kiss – the Hazarat has passed on her ‘self’ to Meher Baba – how deep must be the love between them – how deep must be the connection of many past lives between them! Hazarat Babajan left but before leaving she gave the greatest gift to humanity in the form of Avatar Meher Baba. Meher Baba – the man who revolutionized the whole world – traveled around the world – and transformed many mad men into enlightened beings.

2. Upasani Maharaj

A beautiful real picture of Sri Upasani Maharaj. It is said that it is Upasani Maharaj who greeted Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi by addressing him as Mahatma and from that day onwards – Mohandas Gandhi came to be known as Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi himself revealed this fact to Avtar Meher Baba when he had met Baba. In fact Mahatma Gandhi was so deeply touched by the divine presence of Avatar Meher Baba that at one point he expressed his wish to renounce from Politics.

Upasani Maharaj was born on 15 May 1870 in a small town called Sakori. And he was the only DIRECT DISCIPLE of SAI BABA of SHIRDI. Sakori is just 5 km away from Shirdi. The story of Upasani Maharaj’s life is very interesting and highly inspiring. He was born in into a family of Sanskrit scholars. He became an Ayurvedic Doctor. And he married three times but all his wive died. Soon he started to hear a singing voice that he could not explain. This troubling sound, along with various other problems, led him on a difficult quest that finally culminated in him meeting Sai Baba of Shirdi who is said to have given him God-realization at the age of 42. Sai Baba then claimed to be the one who was calling him inwardly.

The primary teachings of Upasani Maharaj were:

The principal teaching of Upasni Maharaj was that there are three rules that if observed sincerely lead to a life worth living:

• Not to trouble anybody in the least.
• To suffer for and be useful to others.

Upasni Maharaj was the principal teacher of Meher Baba. Meher Baba first met Upasni Maharaj in 1915 when Upasni was staying in Shirdi with Sai Baba. Upasni moved to Sakori in July 1917 and Meher Baba frequently stayed there as late as October 1922. According to Meher Baba, Upasni Maharaj gave him divine knowledge after he received God-realization in January 1914 at the age of 19 from Hazrat Babajan. Charles Purdom recounts that, at the end of December, 1921, Upasni made several comments relating to Meher Baba. He said to his disciples: “I have given my charge to Meherwanji. He is the holder of my key.” Some time later he said “This boy will move the world. Humanity at large will be benefited at his hands.” A few days later he sent for Gustadji Hansotia, one of his leading disciples, and told him “I have made Meherwanji perfect. He is the Sadguru of this Age. Now you have to leave me and stick to him.” To Behramji he said, “Your friend is God-realized; carry out every command and every desire of his.” Finally, one night he folded his hands and said, “Meherwanji, you are adi-shakti: you are Avatar.”

Imagine a direct disciple of SAI BABA saying to Avatar Meher Baba that – YOU ARE AVATAR.

Moves my heart. So deep so deep.

It is said that just two months before Upasani Maharaj died – Meher Baba met him – it was a meeting that happened after a gap of twenty years. A beautiful picture of Avtar Meher Baba walking with the Perfect Master and direct disciple of Sai Baba – Sri Upasani Maharaj.

3. Tajuddin Baba

Tajuddin Baba – is the third Perfect Master as mentioned by Avatar Meher Baba. Tajuddin Baba was born as Syed Mohammad Baba Tajuddin. He was born on January 27, 1861. Baba’s forefathers had migrated from Mecca and settled down in Madras, India. His father was an employee in military. His ancestors were descendants of the eleventh Imam. Baba Tajuddin became an orphan at a young age and so he was raised by his maternal grandmother and uncle Abdul Rahman. Soon he met Abdulla Shah Naushahi who initiated him into the spiritual path. It is said that one day Abdulla Shah Naushahi one day said to his school teacher that “There is no need of teaching this boy, he is already a learned person.” He also gave young Tajuddin Baba some dried fruits and nuts as his blessings for Baba, which is said to put the young boy into an ongoing spiritual trance-like state. Baba completed his education and studied Urdu, English, Arabic and Persian. Baba was highly educated person and at the same time he was one of the greatest master that the world had ever known.

However it is an irony that this Perfect Master was declared a lunatic and kept in confinement in the Nagpur Lunatic Asylum for more than sixteen years. However, Baba Tajuddin started his divine play from this place and virtually converted the asylum to a place of worship. This is one of the biggest illusions of Nature (Maya) the mad people of the mad world declaring the Knowledge- Incarnate, who had come to redeem them of their worldly madness, as mad. But how could the authorities, confine a soul that is in a state of pure consciousness within the four walls of a lunatic asylum. As was the practice, the inhabitants of the asylum used to be locked up in barracks and cells at night. Similarly, Baba was also put in confinement under strict vigil.

Soon after he was locked up in the asylum that a strange incident took place that spread Baba’s name far and wide. Baba was admitted in the lunatic asylum on the 26th August 1892. On the same day many people saw him moving freely in the streets of Kamthi, even after he was locked up. On the next day i.e. 27th an army sepoy, who, under the orders of the magistrate had brought Baba to the lunatic asylum the previous day, saw Baba roaming in the street. The shocked sepoy ran back and informed the British officer of the regiment, about it. The officer immediately rode his horse and searched for Baba. He ultimately found him sitting under a tree smiling at him. British officer was so enraged at seeing him moving freely that he straight away rode to the lunatic asylum at Nagpur situated at half an hour distance from Kamthi. He asked the doctor on duty “Where is that insane whom I sent here yesterday?” The doctor informed that he was in a locked room and also showed the officer where Baba was locked, and behold, the officer found the Baba Tajuddin was sitting inside the room in the same posture in which he had seen sitting under the tree only half on hour back smiling at him. On seeing the officer, Baba said. ” Brother, you are doing your work and I am doing my work”. The officer was so influenced by the divine personality of Baba that he instantly became his disciple and started visiting Baba on every Sunday with his family members. Thereafter, the asylum authorities were reconciled with Baba moving at various places inside the asylum compound and outside. Gradually, Baba’s name became so famous that thousands of people from near and far started lining up before the lunatic asylum everyday to have Baba’s darshan, blessing and help.

During his 16 years stay in the asylum, Baba cured thousands of people of diseases , granted children to the childless and took on his shoulders the responsibilities (both temporal and spiritual) of lakhs of his devotees. Baba’s fame and love for people had been drawing thousands of people daily to the lunatic asylum. Even the staffs of the asylum including the doctors were his devotees.

The doctor gave report that Baba was not mad but a person of unusual qualities which medical science cannot explain. In the meantime, Maharaja Bahadur Shrimant Raghoji Rao Bhonsle, the Maharaja of Nagpur had become an ardent devotee of Baba and started visiting him regularly. One day, in the evening, he thought of getting Baba released from the lunatic asylum and bring him to his palace at Shakardara. The same night, he saw a vision in the dream in which Baba appeared and pointing towards Red Palace said “Oh, elder brother, let me stay here.” It was early morning- (3.00 AM) of 9th July 1908, a Thursday. The Maharaja immediately called his officials and discussed about the steps to be taken to get Baba released. The Council decided that the Maharaja should immediately make an application for release to the Governor, Central Provinces. Ultimately after depositing a security money of rupees two thousands, the Maharaja secured the release of Baba on the 21st of September 1908 and brought him to his palace. From his palace Baba started his divine work.

Once Baba was lying down on the sands of the river Kanhan when two ladies by the name of Shantabai and Subhadrabai from Amaravati, approached him. While touching the feet of Baba they mentally prayed to him for children, as they were childless. The omniscient (Pragyan Ritambhara) Baba heard their inner prayers and gave a ladoo (a type of sweetmeat) to each after testing them. He blessed them to have sons. While they were returning, Shantabai ate the ladoo as a blessed prasad, but Subhadrabai did not because Baba had tasted the ladoo and was Muslim by birth. She quietly got the ladoo buried in the sand. As the Divine Will could have it, Shantabai got a son nine months later. When the child was about two-month-old, she came to Baba with the child for his blessings. Subhadra, who had not conceived even by that time, accompanied her. When Shantabai put her child at the feet of Baba, Subhadra could not control herself. She fell at the feet of Baba and cried -“Baba where is my child?” Baba told her to search the child from beneath the sand (indicating that he knew where the ladoo was) Subhadra immediately realised her mistake and repented profusely before Baba. The Perfect masters are incarnation of kindness. Her repentance and plight moved Baba. He blessed her to have a son, which she got after a year. The perfect master is a wish- fulfilling tree Kalpvriksha who even shower unconditional grace (Ahetuk Kripa). Tajjudin Baba lifted his hand as blessing to all, looking at them lovingly and quietly laid his body on the bed.

4. Sai Baba

The Fourth PERFECT MASTER as stated by AVATAR MEHER BABA is SAI BABA of SHIRDI.One of the most beautiful persons of this past century was Sai Baba of Shirdi. He had a friend and a follower. Sai Baba was a Mohammedan. Or no one knows whether he was a Mohammedan or a Hindu, but he lived in a mosque, so it was believed he was a Mohammedan. And a Hindu follower was there, who loved, respected, has much faith in Sai Baba. Every day he will come for his darshan, and without seeing him he will not go. Sometimes it will happen that for the whole day he will have to wait, but without seeing he will not go, and he will not take food unless he has seen Sai Baba.

Once it happened the whole day passed, there was much gathering and much crowd — he couldn’t enter. When everybody has gone, just in the night he touched the feet.

Sai Baba said to him, “Why you unnecessarily wait? There is no need to see me here, I can come there. And drop this from tomorrow. Now I will do. Before you take your food you will see me every day.”

The disciple was very happy. So next day he was waiting and waiting; nothing happened. Many things happened really, but nothing happened according to his conception. By the evening he was very angry. He has not taken the food, and Sai Baba has not appeared so he went again. He said, “You promise and you don’t fulfill?”

Sai Baba said, “But I appeared thrice, not even once. First time I came, I was a beggar and you said to me, ‘Move away! Don’t come here!’ Second time I came I was an old woman, and you just won’t look at me; you closed your eyes-because the disciple had the habit of not seeing women; he was practicing not seeing women, so he closed the eyes.

Sai Baba said, “I had come, but what do you expect? Should I enter your eyes, closed eyes? I was standing there, but you closed the eyes. The moment you saw me, you closed the eyes. Then third time I reached as a dog, and you won’t allow me in. With a stick you were standing in the door.”

And these three things had happened. And these things have been happening to whole humanity. The divine comes in many forms, but you have a prejudice; you have a pre-formulated conception; you cannot see. He must appear according to you, and he never appears according to you. And he will never appear according to you. You cannot be the rule for him and you cannot put any conditions.

When all imagination falls, only then truth appears. Otherwise, imagination goes on making conditions and truth cannot appear. Only in a naked mind, in a nude, empty mind, truth appears, because you cannot distort it.

My father was deeply devoted to Sai Baba. Incidently – he never had been to Shirdi but one night Sai Baba came in his dream and said “Come to Shirdi, and visit Lendi Baug.” This happened in the year 1989. Those times life was not as fast as it is now. My father wondered if there is any place called Lendi Baug in Shirdi as he had never been to Shirdi. And by the GRACE of Sai Baba – he soon was able to visit Shirdi and he was touched to find out that there is a place called Lendi Baug in Shirdi! My father served by working as Editor in Chief for the Sai Leela Magazine that was published by the Sai Baba Trustee. Before dying at the age of 47 – he had visited Shirdi. I still remember that day – it was 5th March 1995. I was with him – and then on 6th March 1995 when we returned back to Pune – he died of massive heart attack. In a way it was a message of Sai – that your time is over – it is time to come back home.

5. Narayan Maharaj

The fifth perfect master as stated by Avatar Meher Baba is Narayan Maharaj. Narayan was born in a Deshastha Brahmin family in Nargund in the Indian state of Karnataka. His father died when he was just 14 months old and his mother when he was four. He was then cared for by his grandmother. He soon left home due to family quarrels, eventually seeking solitude in a Shiva temple. Later, on the advice of a saint, he went to Gangapur for about 10 months, and achieved enlightenment.

As a sadguru he traveled to many religious places including Varanasi, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Nepal, Omkareshwar, Mahakaleshwar, Rameshwar, Madurai, Chidambaram, Kanchipuram, Tirupathi, Ramakrishna Ashram, Calcutta, Bangalore, Mysore, Dwarka, Somnath and Mahabaleshwar.

Narayan often dressed lavishly and lived in a palace; he even had a silver throne. However, it is said that he was unselfish and that his compound gave continually to the poor. His motto was “Treat every one as God.”

Meher Baba contacted Narayan Maharaj in 1915 in his youth and later said that Narayan was one of the Five Perfect Masters of his time.

Narayan’s samadhi (tomb shrine) is in Bangalore, India. From 1942 onward, he was seen having frequent health problems and he decided to move to Ottacmond Ooty of Tamil Nadu. Finally, he came to Bangalore where he desired to perform an Ati Rudra Swahakar to Lord Mallikarjuna. Lavish arrangements were made by the State of Mysore for this occasion, and it was attended by nearly 100,000 people. After the Maha Pooja, he gave a mantra to the devotees present, and retired to his chamber and sat in Padmasana and left his physical body, on 3 September 1945. When Maharaj dropped his body the State of Mysore provided an aircraft for his body to be taken to Bet, but later it was decided to provide nearly two acres of beautiful land near Kempambudi Lake at Bangalore where his mortal remains are kept at a Samadhi. Sri Bet Narayan Maharaj ashram and Brindavan are located in Gavi Gangadhareshwara circle.

Perfect Master is the English term Meher Baba began to use in his writing as early as 1925[1] to denote the Eastern idea of a sadguru (Vedanta) or a qutub (Sufism). A Perfect Master, according to Baba, is a God-realized person (one whose limited individualized consciousness has merged with God) who can use his Divine attributes of Infinite Power, Knowledge and Bliss for the spiritual upliftment of others.Meher Baba is unique among Indian teachers in that he said that the number of Perfect Masters on the Earth is exactly five at all times.[7] He said further that at the time of his own God-realization the five Perfect Masters were Sai Baba of Shirdi, Upasni Maharaj, Hazrat Babajan, Hazrat Tajuddin Baba and Narayan Maharaj and that these five brought him down to human consciousness as the Avatar on Earth in this cycle of time. “During the Avataric period, the five Perfect Masters make God incarnate as man.”[8] He also said, “What I am, what I was, and what I will be as the Ancient One is always due to the five Perfect Masters of the Age. Sai Baba, Upasni Maharaj, Babajan, Tajuddin Baba and Narayan Maharaj – these are the five Perfect Masters of this age for me.” Once it happened – when Meher Baba was on his visit to the US – just near his room – there was a woman standing and she was not willing to step ahead. ne of Baba’s disciples traveling with him, told her, “Come and shake hands with Baba, child.” Another disciple of Meher Baba said, “Why are you afraid, dear? Come nearer and meet Baba.”

The woman hesitated and said “How can I touch him?”

“Why not?” she replied. “All can meet Baba!”

This brought tears to her eyes, and she pitiably asked, “But I am a sinner! How can I touch a holy being like him?”

Baba then went to her, and passed his hand over her head and shoulders. She started weeping, and Baba gestured to her, “I am the purest of the pure. I can purify the worst sinner. You have understood your mistakes and acknowledged them faithfully in the presence of others, and so you are forgiven. This penance from the depths of your heart is adequate, and you are now cleansed. Now, don’t fear in the least and don’t repeat your past mistakes. I give you my blessings!” The girl burst into tears, and Baba lovingly embraced her. The tears which Baba had drawn from her heart wiped out all her sins.

Those who witnessed this were deeply moved; their hearts overflowed and their eyes also teared. Before departing, Baba again embraced all the guests and putting his hand on the girl’s head, consoled her, “You have received forgiveness for everything! Forget the past and don’t worry at all.” The girl pressed her eyes to Baba’s hand and kissed it. As Baba left, all eyes followed him.

Avtar Meher Baba was indeed one of the greatest spiritual master whose greatness cannot be expressed in words. I would go a step further and say that all the 5 perfect masters that he experienced in his stage of enlightenment are indeed found in his omnipresence. There is no need to visit all the 5 perfect masters – just by worshipping him – just by remembering His Holy Name one can receive the blessings of all 5 perfect masters.

The last word of Avatar Meher Baba was – Dont’ Worry. Be Happy.

Astrology can be harmless and a great savior just the way a SWORD can be harmless and a great savior – IF YOU USE IT WISELY – IF YOU DO NOT MAKE ASTROLOGY YOUR GOD and you realize the FACT that ASTROLOGY is just a small part of this vast universe – that ASTROLOGY is NOT ABOVE GOD – GOD is ABOVE ASTROLOGY.

If you and through your question – I want to make all my fellow travelers and followers, readers AWARE – IF YOU DO NOT MAKE ASTROLOGY AS WAY OF YOUR LIFE – IF YOU LIVE WITH THE FACT THAT GOD IS ABOVE ASTROLOGY – and ASTROLOGY is just a ‘google map’ to help you NAVIGATE through your LIFE JOURNEY – only then you will truly benefit from ASTROLOGY – and not otherwise.

People often LABEL everything by categorizing them in GENERAL CATEGORY!

Let me tell you and to all my dear fellow travelers and followers that NOTHING in this HUMAN LIFE can be CATEGORIZE as GENERAL. There is NO GENERAL RULE – not in astrology – and NOT in life too!

Just because a certain woman with a certain name turned out to be a mess – an utter mess – doesn’t mean all women fall in the same category! Every man and every woman is NOT EQUAL and NOT UNEQUAL either – every woman and every man is simply UNIQUE – and one can understand and realize the UNIQUENESS in very man and woman – only when he himself realize his own UNIQUENESS! It is only when you yourself can JUDGE YOUR OWN HOROSCOPE – that you can JUDGE others – it is only when you can realize your OWN SELF – that you can realize the SELF in others!

It all begins with YOU – when you are feeling good – you feel the whole world good – and when you are in utter misery – you feel the whole world is in misery!

So you see – everything comes down to that one person – YOU – and when I say YOU – it is for all my readers.

Many people are afraid of the word – BLACK MAGIC. They think that is the only magic in this world. They are wrong – MAGIC is not just BLACK – it can also be WHITE!

You see – MAGIC is not bad – what is makes it bad or good – BLACK or WHITE is the man who practices it! If he is negative – he will make use of MAGIC for negative goals – if he is POSITIVE – he can use it for POSITIVE goals!

Black magic is nothing more than when a man has accumulated thought energy without throwing out his negativity beforehand. Astrology is all about TIMING. Magic is also all about TIMING.

So one has to understand that the ‘SWORD’ is ‘neutral’. What matters is ENERGY and the INTENTION.

When I was very young – I was a great fan of the movie ‘Spider-man’ (the old series that had some great dialogues). If you watch closely – the ‘superpower’ is gained by the Hero – Peter Parker, as well as the antagonist. So both have ‘superpower’ – but one uses it for the betterment of the society – the other for the destruction of the society! You see – the ‘superpower’ has absolutely nothing to do with good or bad – ‘astrology’ has nothing to do with good or bad – magic has nothing to do with good or bad – the one who has to do with good or bad is the MAN who is in ACTION. You all have to decide – whether you are Peter Parker OR Dr. Otto Octavius!

Always remember – with power comes RESPONSIBILITY!

With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility.

One has to be AWARE. One has to be CONSCIOUS. One has to be GROUNDED.

Always remember a TREE loaded with FRUITS is always BENDING.

A Man loaded with wisdom is always living in humility. In fact he moves around with absolute no frills and fancies – he is AWARE, he is engrossed WITHIN.

Saint Kabir was such a man. Jesus was such a man. Buddha, Mahavira, so many enlightened beings – real beings – real Gurus – they never show off – they rejoice in their simplicity – life is beautiful only when you can be simple!

Whenever I see that a man is simple, a woman is simple – real simple and they approach me – I accept them wholeheartedly – because simple is beautiful. God is found in simple things – simple people – but in such a fake world very few are simple – the majority is all caught up with many complexities – they are too much in the mind!

Yesterday Mohan came – he said “You have to wear a certain dress – you have to talk in a certain manner – you have to be like this.”

I said “ Why you say so?”

Later I realized that it is not Mohan’s fault. It is the SOCIETY! The Society forces you and makes you believe that you have to wear ‘mask’ because you are expected to behave in a certain manner, to talk in a certain way, to dress in a certain way. You don’t have any freedom.

The society imposes a complete imprisonment on you, from all nooks and corners. This is your slavery and this is your misery. This is your pain and this is your hell.” – Osho

My father was a great astrologer and a very dynamic person – he was Aries. And he was a very famous journalist during his days and had met many spiritual dignitaries including Osho and Jiddu. His last years were spend in Shirdi – he used to run a weekly magazine dedicated to Shirdi Sai Baba. He always used his knowledge of astrology for good purpose. And he lived naturally – no frills, no fancies. No masks! I had been with my father when he visited Shirdi on 5th March 1995 – and we stayed for one day and he said “When I went to Sai Mandir – my head was totally blank – no questions – no wish nothing.” He must have got a signal – that time has come to exit. And the next day when we returned – on that same afternoon – he died. A massive heart attack – first and last. And I was 14 at that time.

Death is not bad – one has to accept death as a part of God’s will! I would say ‘Sai’s will’!

Do not contemplate on death; it is just an incident in life; contemplate on God, who is the master of all life. –  Satya Sai Baba

In reality there is no such thing as FREE WILL. There is only one WILL – and that is GOD’s WILL.

A man who talks a lot about FREE WILL is in real danger – he can mess up and I have seen many such men and women messing up with their life.

AND I have also seen some beautiful men and beautiful women – who simply have lived their whole life by following GOD’s WILL! And they have evolved, they have progressed, they have transformed into a beautiful song, a music, a dance!

I always suggest – that do not rely too much on your FREE WILL – because you are not yet ‘ready’ to use your freedom wisely.

But intellectual men and women don’t understand. They will continue to talk a lot about FREE WILL – but they don’t know that FREE WILL or REAL FREEDOM is more dangerous than otherwise!

People like freedom, but they are fearful also. When the freedom is not there they think about it, they dream about it, but when freedom comes they become afraid because freedom brings with it many more things than they ever thought about. Freedom brings adventure, but insecurity also. – Osho

I DO NOT have FREE WILL – because I simply follow GOD’s WILL!

And that is what I would love to see my readers and followers do in their real life – because it is only when you ACCEPT and FOLLOW GOD’s WILL – that you all can truly evolve as ‘individuals’ – the majority is behind FREE WILL – I am encouraging you all to simply GIVE UP to GOD’s WILL – and rise – become ‘individual’ and not a part of the crowd!

Somebody asked “But why I am not able to live by GOD’s WILL? What is stopping me?”

And the answer is your reluctance – your unwillingness to SURRENDER!

It is only when you SURRENDER to HIM -that you can truly live your life by GOD’s WILL.

Once we surrender our mind to GOD completely, HE will take care of us in every way,

Always remember – GOD’s WILL is above all. People are talking about FREE WILL – I am talking about the beauty of GOD’s WILL. And whosoever is WITH ME – whosoever is following me – will understand the fact that NOTHING EVER IS POSSIBLE WITHOUT GOD’S WILL. One of the founding fathers of the United States of America – expresses the significance of GOD’s WILL in the most beautiful way – that it should be written in Gold.

We all are dependent. Someone in the farm fields is working day and night so that we can have food, someone on the borders is guarding day and night so that we can have a good night sleep – in every way – we all need each other and that is what makes this world – a beautiful world!

Free will is not there and neither is slavery. Dependence and independence are both false words. They should be dropped completely, they should not be used. It is interdependance. I exist in you, you exist in me. The breath that was in me just a moment before has now moved and has gone into you. Just a moment before I could have said “This is my breath” – but where it is now? Somebody’s else heart is beating through it. – Osho

You feel the burden because you are still caught up in your FREE WILL.

Jesus feels NO BURDEN – Jesus says “ Come Follow Me – My Burden is Light.”

Because JESUS lives in GOD’s WILL. Jesus is not saying at all about FREE WILL – Jesus is all the time saying and emphasizing on GOD’s WILL!

You all will also start feeling lighter – the moment you all will suspend your FREE WILL and ACCEPT the benevolent compassionate GOD’s WILL!

Then there will be a great transformation WITHIN you – then there will a song to your life – then everything around you will be the same BUT you will be no more the same – then life will be no more a misery – this is the way of its happening – this is how it happens – when you LIVE your LIFE in SURRENDER.

Krishna says to Arjuna “Surrender to me.”

Jesus says to Peter, the fisherman “Follow me and I will make you the fisher of men.”

Buddha says to Ananda “ Follow me and all your burden will become lighter.”

And Ananda followed Buddha for many many years! And when Buddha left his body – Ananda attained enlightenment!

Everything is possible – only a heart that beats with FAITH is required – only a heart that is living in SURRENDER is required – only a heart that can be patient is required!

But who wants to listen? People cannot understand and so the miseries, the many traps, and the many tragedies.

Life always gives you a choice – what you choose is what you become, whom you follow is what you become – what you love is what you become!

LOVE is contagious – always be conscious of what you love – love something higher than yourself – something of the higher altitudes. When you bring awareness to your LOVE – something beautiful starts manifesting – then no matter what falls in your hand – it turns into GOLD!

The power is WITHIN you – and it is called the POWER OF FAITH – the POWER OF POSSIBILITY – the POWER OF LOVE!

To receive love – first you have to love yourself! Only when the ‘ripple of love’ forms around you – within you – that it can reach the farthest shores of the planet!

When there is LOVE blossoming within you – then the FEAR of HARM will never arise!

Buddha never was fearful. Jesus was never fearful of any harm. Buddha spend his whole life in bringing awareness to people – but never did he talked about FREE WILL – but always talked about the IMMENSE SIGNIFICANCE of GOD’s WILL!

And so come, come you all and meditate on GOD’s name – follow GOD’s WILL – never try to manipulate matters – because GOD knows the best – you may not understand what GOD is doing NOW – but you will come to know when the time is RIGHT!

Jesus Replied: You Don’t Understand Now What Iam Doing But Someday You Will. – John 13:7

GOD’s WILL is always in your favor. A man whom GOD chooses – whom GOD loves – is always tested – he then has to go through the fire of sufferings but in the end he comes out shinning – just the way a piece of iron metal comes out shinning when it goes through the fire!

GOD IS GOOD – ALL THE TIME!

And when you walk with such a beautiful feeling in your heart – tell me – will ever GOD let you fail? Never – because GOD is GOOD – ALL THE TIME!

MIND is the problem. Not YOU. YOU are NOT the MIND. When you sit – meditate – observe the MIND – witness – and focus on your breathing.

When you sit and close your eyes – what happens? Millions and million of THOUGHTS like bees start buzzing through your mind. This MIND is a traffic of THOUGHTS.

So then what is the solution?

ONE THOUGHT is the SOLUTION. Yes – one thought – that thought can be an affirmation, a mantra, Lord’s Holy Name.

Focus on that ONE THOUGHT to keep all other THOUGHTS at the bay.

“Meditation helps concentration of the mind. Then the mind is free from thoughts and is in the meditated form. Meditation is sticking to one thought. That single thought keeps away other thoughts; distraction of mind is a sign of its weakness; by constant meditation it gains strength.”

The MIND is behind many things – at one moment it is here and the other moment it can go to the other part of the world. When you sit – let there be nobody around you. Close the room. Let there be total silence and total cleanliness in the room.

If you are a beginner – then use meditative soothing music to get started with meditation. The MIND can focus on the music – while YOU focus on that one thought – the Mantra! You can recite – Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare. Aum Namaha Shivaya. Shri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram. And many such beautiful soothing mantras that produce HEALING VIBRATIONS.

In the beginning it is very difficult, then slowly it is difficult then it is manageable – then it possible! You see – it is a PROCESS. Rome was not build in one night. Similarly your meditation will not fructify in one day. It will take time – but the most beautiful moment is when you EMBARK on your JOURNEY WITHIN – when you start meditating ‘religiously’ – with full devotion and patience!

Whether you are working in a company, whether you are running a company, whether you are a student, whether you are a housewife or whether you are a LOVER – meditation will help you to get more CLARITY about yourself, about the mission you are on – about the problems you are facing – moreover meditation will help you to calm down and attain peace of MIND.

Peace of MIND is something that your dollars and your rupees cannot buy. It is not available on the outside so how can you buy? You cannot. There are people having stocks of money and cars and airplanes – some of them whom I have met – but they are always found to be restless! NO PEACE OF MIND. They are eating on gold plated plates and yet no good night sleep! Like an OWL then remain AWAKE whole night – everything is there – all kind of pleasures – SEX, LUXURIES, FOOD – you name it and they have it in abundance and YET there is absolutely NO PEACE of MIND.

Money, Fame, Wealth cannot get you PEACE – they may get you PLEASURES but NOT PEACE.

Out of 1 million – 100 AWAKE, 10 Take the effort, 1 succeeds – to conquer the MIND – to conquer the SELF is million times difficult than to conquer the world on the outside.

It is said that Diogenes once said to Alexander the Great, “Have you ever thought about one thing? – meditate over it. You want to conquer the whole world, but are you aware that once you have conquered the whole world, then what? There is no other world. Then what will you do?”

It is said, just by Diogenes saying it, Alexander became very sad, and said, “Please don’t mention such sad things; let me conquer the whole world, then we will see. But don’t talk about such sad things to me; it make me feel very sad.”

He had not conquered the whole world yet, but the very idea that if you conquer the whole world, what are you going to do….there is no other world, and you will feel stuck. The mind will ask for more.

“The mind lives through more and the more cannot be fulfilled; that is impossible…it ends in tears…Every desire ends in frustration because every expectation is the beginning of frustration. Why does every desire end in frustration? There are only two alternatives – either you achieve the object of your desire or you don’t achieve it, but in both cases it will end in tears. If you achieve it you will the utter futility of it all.” – Osho

A rich man sees the futility of his riches for which he has worked day and night. And now whatsoever he has attained is absolutely useless, it fulfills nothing. You can have two apartments, three bungalows, and 12 super luxury cars but you are the same person, as empty as before. You can live in a palace, but how can you change your inner meaninglessness? You will be as meaningless in a palace as you are in a hut. In fact you will be more meaningless in a Palace because while you are in a hut you can still hope that one day when you have managed to get a Palace – everything will be okay. You can hope, a man in the hut can hope but a man who is in the palace has no hope, he has already reached there – the cul de sac point has arrived – he feels utter hopeless. And he cannot share his state with other (he may share it with an astrologer) but not with others! People will think that he worked hard for nothing!

It is good that Alexander, the Great was NOT able to conquer the whole world – else he too would have felt the same inner meaningless – because now the whole world was acquired – what else was there to conquer on the outside? And if he would have said after conquering the whole world – ” It was useless. I wasted my time and my life.” People would have thought he was stupid.

This is the state of all ‘ALEXANDERS’ that exist in today’s world. They have everything – they are flying in private jets but in the night they cannot sleep. In the day – the cannot live with joy – and top of that they CANNOT share their agonies and their frustrations – because what will people say?

Life always you option to choose – you can choose to become Alexander or you can choose to become Diogenes.

Those who are ruled by RAHU – those who have prominent RAHU positions in the horoscope (1 house, 2nd house, 4th house, 7th house, 10th house) – these men and women are always found to be restless – with absolute no peace of mind – unless there are other supporting aspects.

Those who are ruled by Sri KETU – are those who someday – sooner or later start following DIOGENES – they are beautiful beings – the moment they AWAKE from the sleep of many births and rebirths – they don’t look back – they are on the way towards the beyond!

Life indeed is divided in two categories – RAHU and KETU. Alexander and Diogenes. Black and White. Ignorance and Consciousness!

RAHUISH men and women also are attracted towards meditation but their GOAL is that of the RAVANA. Ravana was also a great TAPASVI – a great meditative being – he was RAHUISH – he attained many SIDDHIS – super natural powers – that was THE GOAL of HIS MEDITATION!

You see – RAHU always has an AGENDA – the DESIRE to ACQUIRE SOMETHING through which it can attain more FAME and more WEALTH and more CONTROL over others!

That is exactly what RAVANA did.

And Ram…..Ram was such a beautiful person – HE also did intense penance in the forests but HE had absolutely NO AGENDA – he meditated out of LOVE – out of his DEVOTION – RAMA was indeed the most beautiful man who once walked on this planet!

In the Himalayan region there are many Sadhus and Babas meditating – but each has a different GOAL – and then there are those RAREST OF RARE GEMS – YOGIS whose GOAL is LOVE – ABSOLUTE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

With what intention – you meditate is as important as how deeply you meditate!

There are millions of Sadhus and men within our society who have attained SIDDHIS and they have simply become slave of the SIDDHIS (the supernatural powers).

And then there are a few – very few – within us, within the Himalayan mountain caves, who have always focused on the LOVE of the LORD and ignored all the SIDDHIS and the powers because these powers can become a great HURDLE between the SADHAK (Meditative being) and the Holy Father (Lord).

It is said that Akkalkot Swami ( I address HIM as the the great grand father – the greatest star of wisdom) – once said to Bidkar Maharaj “ Don’t get trapped and fascinated by the SIDDHIS that you have – else you will never find the LORD – you will remain where you are – playing with the SIDDHIS.”

Bidkar Maharaj’s life story is truly inspiring. Bidkar Maharaj was once a great wealthy merchant of ATTAR (Perfume scents). And he was so rich that he had almost everything that a man could desire for. All pleasures were at his feet. Beautiful women, beautiful maids, luxury conveyances – you name it and he had it. Then one day he met the Master – Akkalkot Swami Samarth. And Swami was not a cat but a LION. His words were very sharp and yet those divine words had the immense strength to transform.

Bidkar realized the futility of all his riches and slowly he started to cut down on his indulgence towards the pleasures of life. Transformation is slow process – always remember this.

One day Swami blessed Bidkar. Swami initiated him as his disciple and from that day there was no turning back. Bidkar continued to excel in his meditations – but his business of perfume continued.

One afternoon Swami said to Bidkar “ Bidkar – stop your perfume business. No more selling perfume. Stop it.”

Bidkar was not a common disciple. He immediately stopped his business of perfume which was the only source of his income!

You see – many men and women come and talk a lot and give long lectures on devotion and commitment to the master – but when it comes to actual ACTION – actual EXECUTION – the moment to WALK THE TALK – how many succeed? ONE in a MILLION!

Bidkar was that ONE in a MILLION. And it is this Bidkar who later went on to become one of the greatest divine master – Bidkar Maharaj who performed many miracles and guided many men and women. Today Bidkar Maharaj Samadhi Mandir is in the heart of Pune city. I often visit HIS shrine – it reminds of a great disciple who TRULY lived his life in TOTAL SURRENDER – to HIS master, Akkalkot Swami Samarth.

Life can transform. But people are not willing to JUMP within. People want remedies – they don’t want to listen to the real remedy – ‘Meditation’. People want rituals – they are not willing to listen to simple solution – ‘FEEDING the POOR – FEEDING the ANIMALS’. And then they when they cannot understand me – they say they cannot connect to my sharing!

Always remember life is simple and solutions are also simple. You are running all over the temples and you don’t know your family deity – then who is at fault. Many simple solutions can solve your problems – but since you are DRIVEN by your MIND – you want something FANCY – something COMPLICATED – and then you smile – you feel that you have got something SOLID REMEDY to resolve your problems!

In reality – Simple has it. Simple man. Simple woman. They are the ones whom GOD love – they are the ones whom I love – they are the ones whom the master loves.

“Everything should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler.” says Einstein – one of the greatest scientist whom I love.

A simple man can meditate beautifully. A simple woman can progress in her meditations much faster than those who are still trapped in their HEAD. Because MEDITATION is also a very SIMPLE process!

“My meditation is simple. It does not require any complex practices. It is simple. It is singing. It is dancing. It is sitting silently.”

Sitting silently. Just sit silently in a closed room or a secluded place beneath a tree. AND RELAX.

Relaxing your whole body is the first step towards meditation – always remember this. Unless and until you RELAX – there is absolutely no chance of meditation happening – you ought to RELAX in totality.

“Don’t seek, don’t search, don’t ask, don’t knock, don’t demand – relax.
If you relax, it comes. If you relax, it is there.
If you relax, you start vibrating with it.”

When you relax – you let the existence vibrate with you and then the miracle happens – then the mind takes the backseat and the SELF becomes the driving force – and then you find the answer to your questions. The ‘key’ is to RELAX.

RELAX and meditate in the beauty of deep silence.

Love to you all – I am really amazed to see so many of you following me – I am certain there must be something special WITHIN you – else you would not have been with me on this beautiful ‘journey’ with God. You only appreciate that which is also WITHIN you – I am certain that those who are following me – will one day experience the beyond, the divine and then life will no more the same – then there will be a dance, a song, a beautiful poem, a beautiful painting.

Life – no matter how difficult seems to be, you can make it easy, you can transform it into a beautiful poem – only if you are willing to TURN INWARD.

You become ‘spiritual’ in the true sense – only when you start turning inwards – the real journey is the journey WITHIN.

Turn inwards, and meditate every morning and every evening – 1 hour minimum.

Mahakashyap always used to be quiet. He used to sit in the corner simply watching the Master – Gautama Buddha. He never talked much. Other disciples would say “Why you don’t talk? And as far as we know you have come from very faraway land…”
He said ” It is true that I have come from very far to attain – to learn – to seek wisdom but the moment I arrived, the moment I had a glimpse of the master – all my quest, all my rush to attain dropped then and there. Now I am happy to just have a glimpse of the master – nothing I wish for, just by being in HIS omnipresence – I can relate, I can understand.”
And it is said that the first disciple of Buddha to attain enlightenment was Mahakashyap. Once enlightened, Mahakashyap realized that now he cannot stay with the master, he has to move on and so he would not go near Buddha. Buddha himself had to walk toward Mahakashyap and say “Mahakashyapa, don’t try to deceive me. Now there is no need to sit under this tree. Get on and move! There are millions of people who are still groping in darkness, and you are sitting here enlightened. Take this fire of your enlightenment and make as many people aflame as possible.” Mahakashyap was in tears. He realized that enlightenment is a great responsibility.

“Enlightenment is not only enlightenment, it is also a great responsibility. You have come to realize the ultimate peace, the joy, the blissfulness. Now it is your responsibility to share it, to go as far away as possible. Now there is no point in sitting by the side of the master.” – Osho

It always happens, a devoted disciple never wants to go away from the Master! Mahakashyap was also finding it difficult to move away from the master – but the master – Gautama Buddha comes and says “ You cannot sit under this tree – there are millions of people groping in darkness, it is your responsibility to share the bliss you have experienced!”

A real master never wants his disciple to remain dependent on him. Always remember this. Lao Tzu, the divine master says – “When the DISCIPLE is READY – the MASTER APPEARS. And when the DISCIPLE is TRULY READY – the MASTER DISAPPEARS.”

“The real master the perfect master never makes you dependent on him. And if any master makes people dependant, if any master creates dependance in people, if he makes people dependent on him, he is not a true master. He is akind of exploiter, he is trying to dominate you in the name of religion. He is trying to enslave you, he cannot give you freedom.” – Osho

Gautama Buddha was the real master and so when Mahakashyap attains enlightenment, the master instructs him to move on – to go back to the towns and cities and enlighten those who are ‘thirsty’ for GOD. Jesus says that those who have the ‘THIRST’ will be filled, will be blessed!

“Those Who Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness Shall Be Filled
Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”

Righteousness is SWADHARMA. In the GITA, Krishna emphasis on SWADHARMA. GOD CONSCIOUSNESS is always found in RIGHTEOUSNESS – SWADHARMA!

And so whosoever is THIRSTY for GOD – is HUNGRY to experience GOD – will be filled, will be blessed – because that is what the whole goal is of the God’s ‘messenger’ – be it Jesus, Muhammad, Mahavira or Mahakashyap – the whole purpose is to spread the LIGHT of AWARENESS – make as many people aflame as possible!

This world is vast – so vast that your MIND cannot contain it. But your HEART can!

Always remember if you try to feel the VASTNESS of this HUMAN WORLD by your MIND – you can never feel or realize – but if you sit down, and start moving deeper and deeper into your being – then through the ‘LIGHT OF CONSCIOUSNESS’ that is WITHIN you – you can feel, you can realize the VASTNESS of this whole universe, not just the world on this planet!

And then when you self realize the VASTNESS – you also realize how ‘small’ you are – even smaller than a ANT – and then you realize what a FOOL you have been all these births and rebirths – always moving with such a BIG FAT EGO of “I AM SOMEBODY”!

You see – this is the whole process to come to the realization that “I AM NOTHING” – that “I AM NOBODY”!

Always remember GOD comes only to a ‘NOBODY’ – LOVE flows only to someone who is a NOBODY!

“WHEN YOU LOVE, YOU HAVE TO BECOME NOBODY. IF YOU REMAIN SOMEBODY, THEN LOVE NEVER HAPPENS.”

Once it happened – there was a shrine, a beautiful shrine. And a very old man used to sweep the floors of that shrine. Everyday – every morning and every evening, he would come, bow before the ‘Sufi Saint’ Photo – and then start sweeping the floor. And in that shrine – many scholars and pundits also used to come, and they all would gather and give long discourses and many people would also gather to listen to their discourses and it used to get all packed. And in that crowd, the old man simply would continue to sweep the floors with devotion – his eyes would become wet in the fond memory of the Sufi Saint. Nobody would pay attention to him – he was the most IGNORED person – because people always SEE to all that SHINES – all that GLIMMERS and those pundits and those scholars would always come in shimmering dress – after all people have to recognize them as ‘SOMEBODY’!

One day the music was playing, people had gathered, it was a festive day and suddenly amidst all – from nowhere the Sufi Saint appeared – and the pundits and the scholars and the people – they all rushed towards HIM – to touch HIS feet – but the Sufi Saint IGNORED all of them and rushed towards the old man – the old man was sweeping the floors as usual, reciting the Sufi Saint’s name – and he was so much engrossed in NAAM SMARAN – that he didn’t even realized that the MASTER – whose name he is reciting is coming towards HIM – rushing towards HIM – and the Master came and hugged the old man…..

And the old man started crying……the master said “ Abdul” – that was his name – Abdul.

And Old Abdul said “ Master – I am blessed by your divine touch – how to thank you, how to express my gratitude – how to and what to say – I am speechless.”

The master said “ Abdul – you have said so much through your devotion, you have said so much through your love – that now nothing need to be said – You are mine fellow.”

GOD always comes to a NOBODY. Not to the priest and not to the pundits and not to the scholars and not to the philosophers BUT only to someone who is as beautiful as ABDUL – A nobody!

The whole gathering of people and the pundits and the scholars were taken aback – because they could not understand what was so special in that old man – a sweeper – that the MASTER ignored them and simply rushed towards a ‘Nobody’!

And they haven’t found the answer yet and they will never find the answer ever – because to find the answer – you too have become a NOBODY – like ABDUL – until then you will remain on the circumference – waiting for the answer!

It happens – some of you who read my answers – my posts on this forum or elsewhere – you read and connect because the words that I share surpass your MIND – and then you feel the bliss! So when I am writing – it is my heart – when you are reading – it is your heart – the connection happens because at the moment of writing or reading – the MIND ceases and the HEART wells up!

It is a beautiful relating – a resonance that cannot necessarily happen when I am talking and your are listening – because the state of being ‘NOBODY’ is not at that moment!

It is only when we are in the state of NOBODY that we can connect! A master can connect with the disciple because the state of ‘nobodiness’ is there – it is only in the state of NOBODINESS the real connection happens and not otherwise!

EMPTINESS. NOTHINGNESS is the very essence of Buddhist Sutras (Sermons)!

Jesus says to Nicodemus “You have to REBORN”. It is a divine message to become a NOBODY – to DROP all the LEARNING, all the SCHORLARSHIPS, all the NOTIONS and preconcieved ideas and to become a ZERO (KETU) – it is only through the ZERO – SHUNYA – EMPTINESS – NOBODINESS that you can experience the divine, the beyond and it is beautiful!

“You are nobody. You are born as a nobodiness with no name, no form. You will die as a nobody.
Name and form are just on the surface; deep down you are just a vast space. And it is beautiful”

MAHAKASHYAP comes – he comes to LEARN, to ASK many questions – just like you – but the moment he came and had the first glimpse of the master – Gautama Buddha – he DROPPED everything – all his idea of asking, talking, questioning – everything was dropped – he remained SILENT – and in that SILENCE – sitting in the corner – he was truly able to CONNECT, to RELATE, to RESONATE with the master’s sharing! The other disciples questioned a lot, talked a lot but it was MAHAKASHYAP who became the FIRST DISCIPLE of BUDDHA to attain enlightenment!

And when he attained enlightenment – he laughed – a loud belly laugh. Buddha was present, he asked “Mahakashyap – you never talked – so now after attaining enlightenment why you laughed?”

Mahakashyap said “ Master – I laughed because I never thought that I would be the first to attain enlightenment – I wanted the others to attain first because they were in rush, I was not in rush – I said to myself – that let others attain first – then in the end I will attain – but I became the first to attain and so the laughter came…..”

This is so significant – this is so beautiful and this is so deep. Only a meditative being can understand the significance of Mahakashyap’s words!

A man who is in RUSH to attain – will NEVER attain. And a man who is in RUSH is always ruled by the MIND – such a man always remains where he is!

Only a man who has moved beyond the MIND can WAIT – can be PATIENT – can wait for years and years – he is the MAHAKASHYAP – he can say “Let others attain – I can attain in the end.”

And surprisingly GOD always opens the DOOR for such a man who is WILLING TO WAIT – WILLING TO BE PATIENT!

I would love you all to be like MAHAKASHYAP – to learn from MAHAKASHYAP – to understand how a true disciple is – only then can you all progress on the spiritual path – till then you will remain on the circumference – with no peace of mind, no joy, no bliss.

Money cannot bring PEACE to you. Always remember this. In fact money has provoked one brother to cut the throat of other brother – Money is the reason for all fights and violence and murders.

Ramakrishna Paramhansa NEVER would keep any money/coins with him. He could not even tolerate touch of money or silver coins. You know the greatest difficulty with me is to keep or even to touch money.

Money has become the MASTER – whereas Money should become your slave and not the master!

Money should NOT drive you – you should drive money. Swami Vivekananda – the disciple of Ramakrishna Paramhansa quotes:

“He is truly a man to whom money is only a servant; but, on the other hand, those who do not know how to make a proper use of it, hardly deserve to be called men. Hold your money merely as custodian for what is God’s. Have no attachment for it. Let name and fame and money go; they are a terrible bondage. Feel the wonderful atmosphere of freedom.” – Swami Vivekananda

FREEDOM is ABOVE ALL! Many times I feel I should drop everything and just move to the mountains – but then the master directs me back to the city – the time is not yet, still I have to be here, still some ‘pending’ karma is to be fulfilled….

Mahakashyap remains one of the greatest enlightened being – through his journey – he also enlighten us – leaving a wonderful example – of a devoted, disciplined and a meditative disciple who also lived and rejoiced in his NOBODINESS!

A man who has become a NOBODY – has NO FEET, NO WINGS, NO MIND and yet HE can FLY – HE can experience the higher altitudes – the beauty of the BEYOND!

You can also experience the beyond – you can also become a Buddha – you can also be like Mahakashyap – but the question is – are you willing to become a ‘Nobody’?

Your answer will decide your ‘journey’ ahead.

God will wait for your answer. The Master will wait. The Master can WAIT for eternity – that is how deep the love of the master is – that is how deep the master’s compassion is!

Technique is of the MIND. As long as MIND remains – MEDITATION cannot happen in the true sense!

There is NO TECHNIQUE – to meditate. Meditation happens when you RELAX.

In your mind – when you are thinking about ‘relations’ – about ‘money’ – about your ‘work’ – about ‘sex’ – about ‘enmity’ – about ‘revenge’ – as long as the ABOUT LIST remains – you cannot remain unoccupied – and as long as you cannot remain unoccupied – you cannot relax. And as long as you cannot relax – you CANNOT meditate!

Relax. Don’t Rush. The ‘Mind’ is always in rush – you are NOT the Mind. Just relax. What is yours – will remain with you – nobody can steal it from you. Change is constant. Except change – everything else changes. You remain open to change – relax and now meditate. Listen to this meditation music while you meditate.

You have asked a very beautiful question. One need tremendous courage to ask such a deep question – it is also a sign that you are coming closer to the state of Awareness.

This Human Body is the whole galaxy – the whole universe. The ancient seers addressed this human body as “AHAM BRAMHASMI” – meaning “I am the whole universe.” All the planets and stars and houses of the horoscope are WITHIN you. You are NOT a part of the UNIVERSE. The whole Universe is a part of you!

“You are not a drop in the ocean.
You are the entire ocean, in a drop.”

Each person – I, you and everybody else is a WHOLE. Einstein calls this Universe as WHOLE. Each individual is a GALAXY (GRAH MANDAL) in itself!

And so when you CONNECT PHYSICALLY or have SEX with a WOMAN – her GALAXY (Planet karmic vibrations) get entangled with YOURS!

That is why ‘marriage union’ (Sexual union) is done after evaluating the planet placement of both individuals- because SEX brings TWO GALAXIES (two individuals) together – through the actual ACT of SEX – a GREAT MIXING of ENERGIES happens. And if both the GALAXIES are in HARMONY – only then the SEXUAL UNION or in other words ‘Marriage’ succeeds! The ancient seers therefore came up with the GUN-MILAN practice – but along with GUN MILAN there are many other aspects that need to be considered for the marriage to manifest.

But it happens many times that you are attracted towards a woman – and then where is the time to get into the astrology calculations? You simple get into the BED with her and then – the next morning you start visiting Astrologers – asking if you can MARRY the woman with whom you are having a relationship! What is the use? The MIXING – the MELTING has already happened – the amalgamation of TWO GALAXIES have already happened leading to an energy that will either MAKE your life or BREAK your life!

But people don’t get it. They think ONLY marriage matters – in reality every SEXUAL ENCOUNTER matters – because every time you are sleeping or having sex with a woman – her whole planetary energies – her whole GALAXY is melting in your GALAXY – every SEXUAL ACT is indeed a MARRIAGE – it may NOT be official but it is in the true sense – a transfer of energies – a coming together of ENERGIES!

There was a young man – he was a happy man. Then he was attracted towards a beautiful woman – and he became so infatuated towards that woman that he just got into an intense relationship with her and then his time started changing for GOOD. He started getting promotions and a lot of success and he was such a happy man – they were like love birds – happy, jolly and full of life!

Then one day they broke up. For break-up – any reason is good enough. So they broke up.

They never met again – the ‘sexual connection’ was broken forever – the BREAKUP was REAL. It was OFFICIAL.

But life goes on – after one story end a new story beings, after one sentence ends, a new sentence begins – the ending is the beginning….

And so the man soon found a new love interest – a new woman – more beautiful, more sexy, more attractive than the previous…..

And then soon began the intense relationship…..love, sex and fun…..

Life is sailing smoothly…..the cuddling, the love, the outings, the sex – everything was going well – but slowly slowly they both started realizing that their careers are not on the rise!

With the arrival of this new woman – this new love interest – his whole life came tumbling down! He got into more and more loss, he became a restless man – there was enough sex, enough pleasures of bed – but nothing was happening on his career front – he was getting into more and more debts!

But this situation was not just limited to his life. The woman who was having relationship with him, sexual relation – she also got into many troubles – her career was also not finding any luck. In fact she was doing well before she had fallen in love with this man!

So you see – when TWO GALAXIES (individuals) come in sexual contact – and if their GALAXY OF PLANETS don’t compliment each other – then both suffer – both go through many miseries – many turmoils.

One day Mohan asked “But why man cannot control his sexual urge?”

The answer is “Because the body is weak – the mind is quick to get attracted towards a certain woman – the mind by nature is SEXY.”

Through many of my sharing and answers – I have again and again mentioned that the MIND (MOON) is highly SEXUAL by nature. In the affairs of the human life – therefore the MOON CHART is of great significance – because HAPPINESS is based on the state of your MIND (MOON) – and so MOON CHART is the most important CHART of all CHARTS!

Many meditative beings and spiritual beings- at some stage get the kind of SEXUAL URGE that you have mentioned in your question – and I would say that this is very NATURAL.

One has to first ACCEPT the fact that SEX exists within you and it is SEX through which you are born! So the very idea that SEX is BAD and SEX must be condemned should be dropped in totality.

“Sex should be accepted as a normal, natural thing in life – just as sleep, as hunger, as everything else.” – Osho

History has been witness to the fact that during the Mahabharata era – SEX was celebrated, respected and NOT condemned the way it has been condemned in the modern times!

“Sex has become more and more attractive because of its condemnation by priests.” – Osho

It is human psychology – the more you are NOT willing to ACCEPT – the more you consider something as BAD – the more you FIND it difficult to overcome!

So when SEXUAL URGE comes – just OBSERVE it – just BE A WITNESS. You will feel the breathing becoming heavier – because whenever you feel sexual urge – the first IMPACT is on the breathing! The URGE comes to the MIND – the MIND instructs the BRAIN – the BRAIN instructs your sexual organ – and the sexual organ is activated! You see – it is all interlinked – it is all ‘connected’ – from astrology point of view – MIND (MOON) – BRAIN (MERCURY) – SEXUAL ORGAN (VENUS) – and the ACTUAL ACT OF SEX is administered by MARS (ENERGY)!

So whenever SEXUAL URGE comes – you have to understand that it is the MIND – the MOON!

And if you are DRIVEN by your MIND – then you will FALL FOR THE TEMPTATION – then you may get into the actual act of SEX!

BUT if you are a meditative being – if you are rising above your MIND – then you will simply WATCH the play of the MIND – you will simply WITNESS – WATCH and NOT ACT on the fantasies and the sexual urge that the monkey MIND brings on.

“When a great sexual desire arises in you; simply watch it arising. It is throbbing in your body, it is moving in your mind, it is stirring fantasies in you – JUST WATCH with neither condemnation nor indulgence.Just watch, and you will be surprised: the more watchful you become, the less power there is in the sexual urge.”

You can WATCH, you can WITNESS – this POWER and this STRENGTH can come to you – only when you start MEDITATING – when you start RISING ABOVE THE MIND – when you start coming CLOSER to the state of CONSCIOUSNESS.

A old friend who was also a meditative being and practicing CELIBACY – once asked me “Addittya, why at time I get very sexually aroused – as if I really WANT sexual pleasure?”

I said “ Because the ENERGY has always been used to FLOW DOWNWARDS!”

You see – from many past lives – the ENERGY (MARS) has always been used to FLOW DOWNWARDS! So when TOO MUCH OF ENERGY is ACCUMULATED – the ENERGY by default wants to move downwards – and then the body knows only ONE WAY to release the accumulated SEXUAL ENERGY – and that through the ACTUAL ACT OF SEX – through SEDUCING – through Love Making!

And so the REAL THING – the REAL CHALLENGE is to DIVERT – to DIRECT the accumulated ENERGY UPWARDS and not DOWNWARDS!

That is what a YOGI does – a REAL YOGI is perfectly AWARE of this beautiful but rarest of rare technique – and this happens only by the GRACE of the benevolent master – who guides the disciple to move the energy UPWARDS and not DOWNWARDS.

“Energy has been going downward through the sex center continuously for many births, so when any energy is created it will first try to move downward. That is why meditation sometimes will create more sexuality in you than you have ever felt before. You will feel more sexual because you have generated more energy than you previously had.” – Osho

The MIND that gives birth to the SEXUAL URGE – knows only ONE PASSAGE – only ONE WAY – the way towards the sexual organ (Downward)! It has become a HABIT from many births and rebirths – that is how many spiritual seekers are TRAPPED – because they CANNOT control the ENERGY – it is TOO MUCH – it is TOO HOT – and the only PASSAGE that it knows is the PASSAGE towards SEX – that is the only way it can RELEASE the ENERGY and then once the ENERGY is RELEASED – you feel LOW – you feel relaxed – you feel tired. The ENERGY is GONE! You are BACK to ZERO – and this how many spiritual seekers keep going back and forth – until a day comes – when the divine master with HIS GRACE and HIS BLESSINGS help the poor man – come out of his old habit – the habit of letting the ENERGY pass downwards!

One has to overcome SEX – and NOT SUPPRESS SEX. Understand this – this is of great significance. And you can overcome SEX – only when you have had enough of sex! That is the reason why the ancient seers and the religions have encouraged MARRIAGES – because through MARRIAGE – SEXUAL UNION is possible – SEX can be experienced. The MARRIAGE is a official version to have SEX. The unofficial version is affairs and relationships! No matter what way you choose – always remember unless and until you have had enough experience of SEX – there is absolutely NO WAY OUT.

Those who have born and never had sex – are rare examples of souls who have had enough of sex in their past life – that now that ‘part’ is close to NOWHERE – NIL – in their life.

One has to remember that Gautama Buddha also had a good marital life when he was the Prince – Prince Siddhartha!

This human world is filled with majority of HYPOCRITES – those who will say ‘Ram Ram’ in the morning and will have all kinds of sexual pleasures when the night falls!

The real MASTER is one who speaks boldly about SEX – about his own sexual experiences – he is the ONE – and I had met not one – but two such REAL MASTERS – they were so great with such a great YOGIC POWERS – and yet they were so humble so lovely – so sweet! And they used to like me – they used to share their past life experiences with me- and many devotees would be present and they knew that the MASTER is saying it OPENLY because there is absolutely NOTHING TO HIDE! Only a man of heart – PURE HEART – only a man of awareness – only a man who has GONE BEYOND can share so much OPENLY – today both of them are no more in this human world – but wheresoever they are – I know – they are WATCHING ME closely. I humbly prostate in their fond memory.

One of the two masters – once shared his real life story. He said “ I was born in a very rich family. My father was a very famous political leader of my town. And I was the only son – and so I always had a bodyguard to protect me. I must be 18 yrs old – and it was a hot afternoon and I was having tea at a tea stall – when I saw an old man – he must be YOGI because he was half naked and there was something about this old man – suddenly he came to me and said “ Shridhar – could you please show me the way towards the Mayor of the town – I want to meet him.”

I said “ How come you know my name?”

The old Yogi smiled. His smile was so sweet – it moved me from within. The Yogi said “ I know you – but you don’t know me. Now show me the way towards the mayor’s home.”

I said “ The mayor is my father. Come – I will guide you…I will show you the way….”

Hardly did I know that the man to whom I was showing the way – will one day show me the way towards the BEYOND – the unseen – the GOD experience!

And so when we reached home and the door was opened – I was shocked! Because inside the house the SAME OLD YOGI was seen – sitting and talking with my family!

Beside me was the old Yogi and inside the house also the same Yogi – I was so scared that I ran into my room. But somewhere I realized that this old man is someone SPECIAL!

And so that night when the old man was alone in our guest room – I went and sat next to his feet. The old man was in his bliss – his eyes were open but it appeared to me that he was in deep meditation….

After a while – the old man spoke – he said “ What do you want from me?”

I was 18 and I had intense desire of having sex and many girlfriends – in fact during that time – I was behind one girl – she was so beautiful that I just wanted her – and so I said “ Baba – I want to have one girl – I am mad about her.”

And to this request – the ANSWER that BABA gave to me – is what CHANGED my whole life.

Baba looked deeply into my eyes and said “ Shridhar – how beautiful – how wonderful it can be if you become MAD for GOD!”

THOSE WORDS – THOSE FEW WORDS CHANGED MY WHOLE LIFE. I DROPPED EVERYTHING – and I became MAD for GOD – my quest for GOD grew day by day and then there was NO LOOKING BACK – after 21 years – finally I attained – this is all HIS GRACE – HIS BLESSINGS – HIS LOVE – the old man who asked the address of my house – but eventually showed me the REAL ADDRESS OF GOD!

My eyes became wet – SHRIDHAR BABA – the divine master’s eyes also became wet – LIFE TRULY CAN TRANSFORM – LIFE TRULY CAN BE A MIRACLE – LIFE IS MIRACLE!

At the age of 82 – SHRIDHAR BABA left his mortal body – just yesterday I received a call from his ASHRAM, due to lockdown, I couldn’t see him at his last moment.

Shridhar Swami used to say – that I had immense pleasure of bed – I was mad for woman – but a day came – when I met the old man – and the old man – the divine master CHANGED MY PERSPECTIVE towards LIFE – and when PERSPECTIVE Changes – LIFE CHANGES for GOOD!

“CHANGING YOUR PERSPECTIVE, CHANGES YOUR EXPERIENCE”

For 42 years – Shridhar Swami cured many diseases and performed many miracles – many villages within Maharashatra worshipped him – can you imagine – how 360 degree lifecan change with just a change in perspective – with the divine intervention of the compassioante master!

I met His Holiness Shridhar Swami in 2008 – then our bonding grew – what a beautiful person – a lovely human being he was! He belonged to royal family – and yet he lived like a FAKIR! He left everything – he renounced all his property and wealth but he never left HUMANITY – Hindu or Muslim, Brahmin or Kshatriya – everybody was welcome and everybody was treated with SAME LOVE – SAME RESPECT.

He is one REAL EXAMPLE of the journey from SEX to SUPER CONSCIOUSNESS!

His father was a great politician – and when his father was admitted to hospital – the other politicians would visit his father and then they would say “ You spend your whole life in folding hands to get VOTES – but your SON – Shridhar is indeed such a great SAINT that people fold hands to receive HIS blessings!”

Such is the TRANSFORMATION – such is the GRACE of the DIVINE MASTER – that a BHOGI (pleasure seeking man) can TRANSFORM into a YOGI (God seeking man)!

I meet many spiritual seekers – 99% are just failures! A man who was on spiritual path – fell in love with a young woman – and then he was in a deep sexual relationship with that woman and then he calls me and says “ I am a Swami and I am opening soon a Ashram”.

Now what to say – all kind of men – all flavors of people I have seen – but at the end of the day – if my eyes become wet then that is in the fond memory of the compassionate master – HE wants me to meet as many people as I can – SO THAT I UNDERSTAND how deeply misguided and hypocrite this human world is!

You have asked a question – that is worth appreciating – because rarely people have the courage to ASK SOME REAL QUESTIONS RELATED TO SEX and SEXUALITY – it is said that a man is judged by the QUESTIONS he ask – you are asking a very sensitive and yet very deep question – I thank you and also congratulate you – because I could see that you are on the right track – a man who asks the RIGHT QUESTION is always on the RIGHT TRACK – and a man who has absolutely NO QUESTION left to ASK – has gone beyond the TRACK – he is on his JOURNEY towards the unseen – the unknown – the beyond!

From Questions to NO QUESTIONS. From SEX to SUPER CONSCIOUSNESS. FROM BHOGI to YOGI – that is the REAL TRANSFORMATION. Real transformation is inside-out!

Do not worry about your sexual urge – in fact the more one becomes spiritual the more is the sexual energy – but one has to remain AWARE – CONSCIOUS to NOT to let this precious SEXUAL ENERGY to flow downwards – but to channelize it upwards through deep meditation.

It is a CHALLENGE in the beginning – it is a DIFFICULT PATH in the beginning – because tremendous sexual urge comes at the most strange moments – but that is how the MASTER tests you – that is how GOD tests you – the ‘disciple’ is TESTED before he is put to real work – the real ‘journey’! Many think that the moment they become meditative the journey has began – it hasn’t – even if you attain all your CHAKRAS it hasn’t – it begins only when you have overcome the SEXUAL URGE – when you have learned the ART OF DEFEATING the TEMPTATIONS – and this happens only through the GRACE of the divine master – and the GRACE of the divine master comes only when you have deep UNCONDITIONAL SELFLESS LOVE and DEVOTION towards HIM – only then the ‘river’ starts flowing towards you – only than HIS ‘light’ starts showering upon you and then there is NO looking back – the road is clear and you are ready to WALK….

“Feliz Navidad – I want to wish you merry Christmas from the bottom of my heart……” – as I was walking around the plush shopping mall in downtown Houston – this beautiful song was playing, that was the first Christmas song I heard during my stay in the US. That was also my first visit to the US – way back in 2006 December – and I must be in my mid twenties!

My first visit to the US happened through a company. They had arranged my pickup from the Houston airport to the hotel in downtown Houston. I stayed for a couple of months and during the very first four days – I had no idea what to eat and where to eat! Because everywhere there was non-veg food available and even though they had a few vegetarian options still I was doubtful. Then a good old friend who happened to be Indian said to me “ Whenever you order food here – always say “No Egg. No Meat. No Flesh.”

That was all I wanted to know! And then the stay was smooth – because every time I went to the food stall or restaurant – my first sentence would be “ No Egg. No Meat. No Flesh.”!

The concept of Vegetarian is very different in the US because they consider ‘Chicken Soup’ as vegetarian! So I had to be very careful – being pure vegetarian.

During my stay in the US – I met many wonderful human beings – very friendly people and moreover was able to understand the way of their life!

During my second visit to the US – I had been to San Jose (California) and that was an altogether different experience than the one I had during my first to the US.

People in the South were more hospitable then those in silicon valley (San Jose). May be the lifestyle and culture was the reason!

While staying in San Jose, I had a friend who had a two seater private airplane! And one day she gave me a ride in her private jet – when we were many thousands feet above the ground – flying in the sky – she says to me “Today itself I have got my flying license – and you are the first to fly with me.”

I wondered if she would land safely! Thankfully – she did.

It is true that the US or any foreign country always appears to us as a different world – a new world!

But this feeling of ‘different world’ remains as long as you are focused on the outside!

The moment you start turning inwards – the moment to start looking within – the moment you start coming back to your roots – then no matter where existence takes you – you always will remain rooted deeply within! And that is the whole beauty of Meditation!

“Once you are rooted in your own center, nothing from outside can move you.”

Once you are ‘home’ – once your whole focus is within – once you learn the art of observing your mind – then the outside doesn’t matter much – then the ‘feeling’ of being in a different world never comes to your being! You reach closer to the state of ONENESS (non-duality – Advait) only when you start turning inwards! And it is only when you turn inwards that you start coming closer to Consciousness – Krishna Consciousness, Christ Consciousness!

The WEST calls it “Christ Consciousness” – the EAST calls it “Krishna Consciousness” – words differ – the source remains the same – CONSCIOUSNESS!

“When we turn the mind inwards, God manifests as the inner consciousness.”

Your problems exist as long as your mind remains focused on the outward. And your problems slowly start evaporating as you start turning your mind inward!

Your happiness is short lived because your happiness is based on the outside factors. A Yogi’s happiness is eternal because his happiness is not focused on the outside but within.

“Happiness is your nature. It is not wrong to desire it. What is wrong is seeking it outside when it is inside.”

But people ask “How can I find happiness within?”

This question is natural – because the whole idea of finding happiness has always been on the outside when in reality the ‘source’ of happiness is NOT on the outside but WITHIN!

There are millions and millions of rich men and women – who are living in plush apartments and driving luxury cars and yet you will find them in utter unhappiness. And then there are people who are living hand to mouth – not much – and yet in the state of happiness!

This is because – happiness is NOT based on whether you have a i-phone or not -happiness is not based on whether you are driving a BMW or not, happiness is based on WHAT YOU HAVE WITHIN YOU – if you are a man of awareness then a simple phone will also do – a small car will also do!

HAPPINESS – the source of happiness is WITHIN – and until you self-realize this TRUTH – you will always remain unhappy – your happiness will be short-lived because you cannot control the factors on the outside but you can always control the factors WITHIN!

A Yogi is always found in his own bliss because he has self-realized, through deep meditations, through the state of total SURRENDER – that the SOURCE of HAPPINESS is WITHIN.

“A man who as a physical being is always turned toward the outside, thinking that his happiness lies outside him, finally turns inward and discovers that the source is within him.” – Soren Kierkegaard

There are men and there are women who say that “I meditate every day” – and they must be meditating every day BUT ‘meditation’ is not happening in the true sense! Because these men and women who claim that they meditate every day – are filled with so many thoughts and thoughts and thoughts – that it is difficult to believe that they meditate every day!

Because a meditative being is generally found to be thought-less or he entertains a thought only when there is a higher purpose to it – otherwise you will never find a meditative man caught in the trap of thoughts because he is perfectly aware that when there are thoughts – there is distraction and not meditation.

“WHEN THERE ARE THOUGHTS, IT IS DISTRACTION: WHEN THERE ARE NO THOUGHTS, IT IS MEDITATION.”

Thoughts – too many thoughts and thoughts and all kind of thoughts come when the MIND is NOT still! And MIND is based on the state of your MOON and MOON NAKSHATRA LORD!

When MOON is aspected by JUPITER – or when MOON is with JUPITER or when MOON is in PISCES moon sign with a positive placement and state of its Nakshatra Lord then the person is in a good state of MIND – a MIND that can be easily molded and directed towards MEDITATION!

But when the MOON NAKSHATRA LORD is RETROGRADE the the person is really a ‘problem’ because he or she goes on thinking and thinking and doubting too much! Then even if the moon is in Pisces sign – still the MIND is NOT STILL and for such a person – life itself becomes a great problem – because when MIND is NOT STILL – then you remain miserable – weak and unwilling to live your life in total surrender!

The whole purpose of meditation is to first STILL the mind. Always remember this.

How to STILL the mind? That must be your next question.

The answer is simple. In fact the solution is always simple – but since the mind is complex – it never lets you find the answer!

You can STILL the wavering mind only by chanting the name of the holy lord! Mantra is basically a ‘device’ that generates certain ‘vibrations’ that help you STILL the MIND and in due course OVERCOME the MIND! But people have made a business of this as well! People have started chasing SIDDHIS – they recite MANTRA but not out of love towards GOD – but to attain SIDDHIS! And God is laughing – in fact GOD laughs a lot when people recite MANTRA for attaining super-powers – BECAUSE the more you are drawn towards super-powers (SIDDHIS) the more you move away from GOD – that is why you will find many Yogi’s enslaved by their SIDDHIS (super-powers) – but you will find only ONE BUDDHA, ONE JESUS, ONE KRISHNA and very very few real GOD LOVERS – YOGIs who don’t give a damn to attaining super powers because their whole focus is on GOD – and GOD TESTS them a lot – such men and women go through many sufferings because GOD always puts those on TEST whom he loves the MOST!

Chanting God’s name fructifies in the true sense when your MIND becomes STILL. In this AGE – it is only chanting the name of the GOD – that can help you STILL the MIND. When you start chanting – don’t let thoughts distract you – focus on the ‘Japa’ – chanting – stay deeply rooted within.

“What cannot be achieved through the performance of Vedic rituals can be easily achieved through the chanting of the Lord’s holy name.”

Many times people give up. They stop chanting the holy mantra – because they are so much impatient that they want to eat ‘Ghee’ today and become ‘Strong’ tomorrow! Even to give birth – a woman takes 9 MONTHS – and that is only a physical birth – not spiritual birth!

“Even if there may be some problems, always try to remain in Krishna Consciousness.
Do not give up chanting the Hare Krishna mantra simply due to some external difficulties. Under all circumstance you should always chant Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. This will protect you from all danger of being influenced by”
Maya or the material energy.

When Jesus says “ You have to REBORN” – Jesus is referring to your spiritual birth! Physical birth happens through your mother – but spiritual birth happens only through the benevolent GURU – the divine MASTER!

Indeed there is a very close similarity between the MOTHER and the MASTER – because both births happen through them – and that is why the FIRST GURU is always the MOTHER – through her this physical body has arrived – and the SECOND GURU is the MASTER – through his spiritual womb – the new spiritual life is born – that is what JESUS refers to when he says to Nicodemus “To experience God – you have to REBORN”!

Nicodemus is a very old man and one of the greatest scholars of Jerusalem – and yet he is unable to meet Jesus during the daylight because “what will people say? That a great scholar is going to meet a carpenter’s son!” and so Nicodemus chooses a dark night to meet Jesus – he goes and meets Jesus and Jesus is sitting beneath a tree – Jesus says to Nicodemus “Why have you come to me? What is it that you want from me?”

And Nicodemus says “ Jesus – I want to experience God.”

Jesus laughs and says “ You cannot meet me during the daylight – even to meet me you have chosen a dark night – how are you going to face GOD? To experience GOD – you have to REBORN”

Nicodemus is confused. It happens – when you are focused on the outside – your mind remains confused. You cannot understand the message that is conveyed to you! And so Nicodemus asks “ What do you mean when you say ‘ I must Reborn’? Should I go back in to my mother’s womb?”

Jesus says “ The death I am referring to – is not physical death – but death of all your illusions – your ideas, your notions, your EGO – and your learning. Unless you drop all that you have learned – unless you drop your EGO – unless you become a NOBODY you cannot experience GOD.”

The REBIRTH that Jesus is referring to is your SPIRITUAL BIRTH – and spiritual birth happens only through the benevolent MASTER – the GURU!

“The function of the Master – is to give you another birth, to make you DWIJA, twice born. One birth is from mother and father, another birth is from the Guru, the Master. You are again in another womb, a spiritual womb. You have to close accounts with your physical womb completely. You have to drop all hang-overs with your physical birth so you can be totally herenow with the master.” – Osho

And the spiritual birth can happen at anytime – to some it happens early and to some it happens late – when it happens is NOT of much significance – because as Jesus says – it doesn’t matter whether you come early in the morning or you come late in the evening – you will be receiving the same ‘wages’ (blessings) – there is going to be NO DISCIMINATION based on whether you come early or late!

Reminds me of a story – a beautiful story that Jesus used to share with his followers and since today is HIS birthday – there can no no other beautiful moment than the moment that is NOW!

Once it happened, there was a very rich man. And he needed some laborer to work on large farmland.

The rich man send his servant to bring laborers from the marketplace. Some laborers came early in the morning. A few laborers came in the afternoon. And then there were a few more laborers who came late in the evening. The rich man employed all of them. And when the sun started setting down and it started becoming darker – the rich man gathered all of them and paid them equally. Obviously those who had come in the morning became disappointed and said, “What injustice! What type of injustice is this? What are you doing? We came in the morning and we worked the whole day and these fellows came in the afternoon; just for two hours they worked. And a few have just come, they have not worked at all. This is injustice!”

The rich man laughed and said, “Don’t think of others. Whatever I have given to you is it not enough?” They said, “It is more than enough, but it is injustice. Why are these people getting when they have just come?”

The rich man said, “I give them because I have got too much, out of my abundance I give them. You need not be worried about this. You have got more than you expected so don’t compare. I am not giving them because of their work, I am giving them because I have got too much… out of my abundance.”

The rich man represents GOD.

And GOD does NOT see who has come when – GOD only sees that you have come and that is more than enough!

Jesus says some work very hard to achieve the divine, some come just in the afternoon and some when the sun is setting, and they all get the same divine.

It doesn’t really matter when you start turning inwards – when you start moving towards realizing the significance of GOD- CONSCIOUSNESS – as long as you begin – as long as you come to work in the ‘farmland’ of GOD!

In the eyes of GOD – nobody is a SINNER and nobody is a SAINT – because a SINNER can become a SAINT and a SAINT was someday a SINNER!

It happens that you may be meditating the whole day and someone comes in the evening and get enlightened within few minutes! You may argue with GOD that you have come in the ‘morning’ – then how come the man who has come in the evening has reached the state of enlightenment? But GOD has absolutely no discrimination based on who has began early and who has not – GOD has got in abundance – and so some may come in the morning (young age) – some may start in the afternoon (mid-age) and some may start in the evening (old age) – and yet as JESUS says – ‘they all get the same divine.‘

Always remember in the KINGDOM OF GOD – everybody is welcome – and the ‘wages’ – BLESSINGS are showered EQUALLY – then no matter when you come – you will be showered with equal amount of blessings! In GOD KINGDOM – there is NO HELL. HELL is a concept created by those ascetics who CANNOT accept the fact that SINNERS too have a FUTURE – that SINNERS too are welcome in the KINGDOM OF GOD – if they are willing to change their path and walk on the path of righteousness!

“Out of God’s abundance everything is heaven. It should be so, it must be so, it has to be so. Out of his abundance is heaven, there can be no hell. Hell was created by these ascetics because they cannot conceive of sinners in heaven. They have to make compartments; they cannot think that you will be there.” – Osho

The so called ‘VIRTUOUS’ people cannot think that a SINNER can become a SAINT! When in reality history is witness to many such real life incidents where it is the SINNER who has become one of the GREATEST SAINT that the world had ever known!

Ratnakar – a dreadful looter and killer becomes SAINT VALMIKI – the same SAINT who scripted one of the greatest scriptures that the HINDUS hold in high regards – the RAMAYANA!

Saul – the hater of Jesus and the man who tortured many followers of Jesus – transforms into SAINT PAUL – in fact it is SAINT PAUL who build many CHURCHES in the medieval EUROPE. Saul becomes SAINT PAUL – one of the most revered Saint in Christian FAITH!

And there are many such real life examples – and this itself proves that what JESUS says is indeed the ultimate truth – no matter when they come – early or late – ‘they all get the same divine.‘

On this note – I wish each one of you – MERRY CHRISTMAS – and as BUDDHA’s says – you all need to REMEMBER – just REMEMBER – that there is NO DISCRIMINATION in the kingdom of God – that it doesn’t matter whether you start meditating at early stage of your life or late stage of your life – because GOD is RICH – very RICH – he is in abundance – and so whatever he gives – he give in EQUAL AMOUNT – the larger question that you all should ask yourself is – are you ready to receive HIS love – HIS blessings – because the whole purpose of life is to GET READY….

And it is through READINESS that you become READY! READINESS comes when you go through a certain deep suffering. READINESS therefore is the GRACE of GOD!

It is said that GOD chooses HIS men. The Master chooses HIS disciple based on HIS READINESS!

And that is the whole message on this beautiful CHRISTMAS DAY – ‘be dressed in readiness.’

“Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit.”

Life indeed is like the candle you see. The candle enlightens its surroundings – and in the process burns out. A GURU is also like the candle you see. Jesus is like this candle, Buddha is like this candle, Mahavira is like this candle – they continue to enlighten us with their divine LIGHT OF CONSCIOUSNESS!

“A good TEACHER is like a candle -it consumes itself to LIGHT the way for others.”

How to express gratitude towards such great masters – great teachers. And they are such great teachers – great masters that they never consider themselves as teachers and they never see you as a student – for these great divine masters – there is no teacher and no student – but pure sharing – unconditional sharing – unconditional love!

There is nothing to understand – so deep – so beautiful – how to express – I am speechless………

Understanding is limited to the mind. Drop the mind – and you will self-realize that there is absolutely NOTHING TO UNDERSTAND – but only to FEEL – just FEEL!

That is how the most beautiful disciples were – Peter, the fisherman, Sarriputta, Ananda, John, the baptist – they never tried to understand anything because they could only FEEL!

When Jesus says to Peter, the fisherman “FOLLOW ME” – the illiterate Peter, the fisherman simply feels the omnipresence of JESUS – and he drops everything and starts following this young man – whom the world addressed as JESUS! And Peter is meeting Jesus for the very first time in his life – and still he never asks a single question – not a single question is asked – Peter simply starts following Jesus – that is the BEAUTY of FEELING – there is nothing to understand!

All 12 Apostles of Jesus simply started following Jesus without trying to understand Jesus. Jesus simply appears before each one of them and says only two words – “FOLLOW ME” – and they all started following JESUS and then there was no looking back – then life was no more a problem but a garden of bliss! Then there was a song to it – a dance – a beautiful painting.

The message of Christmas is just that – stop understanding and start feeling. Get out of your HEAD and get into your HEART – then the celebrations can begin – only when you start following your heart!

Merry Christmas to you all and let the celebrations begin. For life is all about living in the NOW moment – you can celebrate life only when you are able to BE HERE and NOW.

Learn to BE HERE NOW. When you are living your life be being HERE and NOW – the miracle happens.

To be in the moment – is the real miracle!

Today is 15th November, 2020 and its my 39th birthday! I want to thank all my readers, followers and fellow travelers who have been following my sharing on this forum from last few years. People ask me “How you came to know about Quora and when did you started sharing and answering on Quora?”

I tell them “ I don’t know – it just happened!

One afternoon – must be July or Aug 2018 – I accidently came on this forum and then the ‘journey’ of sharing begin. Within 2 years – there has been so much of sharing and so many of my answers and posts have reached and touched readers and seekers from almost all corners of the world – that now and then I keep receiving their love that they express through the emails that they send. It is said that “Accidents” are beautiful – because accidents happen – and happen is a beautiful word – because what happens – just happens – there is no planning – no agenda – no expectations!

Love also ‘happens’! And so does awakening – and so does enlightenment! The most beautiful experiences of life are ‘Accidental’!

“This is something very significant to understand. Enlightenment is always accidental. That does not mean that you have not to try for it, but your trying is not going to bring it. Your effort is not going to achieve it. But making the effort, searching in all directions in every possible way, some day it happens – not because of your efforts but because of your intense urge, a tremendous intensity like a flame within you.” – Osho

Passion matters – intensity matters and above all – a GOOD HEART matters!

Buddha is always in search of ‘seekers’ and not ‘believers’. Buddha says to his disciples “Don’t waste time in responding to believers – respond only to seekers.”

A believer just wants to believe – a seeker wants to self-experience by taking efforts.

Once – when Buddha asked his disciples “How long is life?” – nobody could answer. Buddha then reveals “Life is but a breath.” Life is momentary – life is neither in the past nor in the future – life is flowing NOW . Past is no more and Future is not yet. What you do NOW is what shapes your future. Focus on the Now moment and realize the fact that the real ‘difference’ is not by doing better than others – the real ‘difference’ you make is when you do better for others.

“मैं ‘किसी से बेहतर करूं क्या फर्क पड़ता है….! मैं ‘किसी का बेहतर करूं बहुत फर्क पड़ता है”

“I do better than someone else – what difference does that make! I do better for someone – that indeed makes a great difference” – Osho

The purpose of life is simply to do better for someone – that someone can be anybody who deserves your help.

As long as we are alive – we should help those who deserve our help.

People ask me “How long you will be on Quora?”

I tell them “ I never planned to appear on Quora – it happened. Similarly someday I will disappear from Quora – that will also happen!”

Until then – the ‘journey’ continues….we all have to remember that “Nothing Lasts Forever” – neither the good times nor the bad times!

And so we just have to BE HERE NOW – and that is my message to all of you – on my birthday this is the only message – BE HERE NOW – learn to LIVE in the NOW moment – because past is no more and future is NOT yet! NOW is the only moment – LIFE is flowing NOW – if you are able to BE HERE NOW – only then you are LIVING – only then you are progressing – the ‘key’ to your real GROWTH is to BE HERE NOW.

NOW is the only reality. The PRESENT MOMENT is the only TIME you have – meditation is to help you to bring your MIND in the present moment because the mind is either stuck in the PAST or is worried about the FUTURE! The moment MIND is fixed on the present moment – meditation starts happening.

Close your eyes – breath in and breath out – and bring your wavering mind to HERE & NOW – practice this daily – Rome was not build in one day – similarly your meditation will also take time – what is important is that you start meditating and then don’t give up until you prefect the art of meditation!

“Kabir will suggest meditation, Buddha has suggested meditation, I suggest meditation. Meditation is a different approach: it has nothing to do with God, it has something to do with you, with your mind. It has to create a silence within you, a deep utter silence. In that utter silence you will start feeling the presence of God.” – OSHO

Silence is the language of the master. Only a meditative being can understand the language of silence – the language of Buddha!

Meditate every day – and as long as I remain on this forum – I will be sharing with you all – these gentle reminders. The last word of Buddha was SAMMASTI. SAMMASTI means REMEMBER – just remember to go back to your source – to look within – to turn inwards and discover yourself.
