Always remember – retrograde mercury period is a period when you are compelled to look back and correct yourself. It is an opportunity – a second chance for you. If you can make something positive from this second chance then it only makes your life more happier, more beautiful. And so it is likely that those who had lost their jobs may find another job or those who have been suffering at their workplace may get a new job opportunity. Similarly – if you had some serious relationship issues then this period will help you to sit back, introspect and find out what went wrong in your relationship and if you are an evolving soul then you may realize your own shortcomings and you will try to correct yourself by giving one more chance to your failing relationship.

Why relationship fail? Because it is based on ordinary love. Ordinary love is greedy by nature. You will be surprised to know that the English word `love’ comes from a very ugly root in Sanskrit. It comes from lobh. Lobh means greed. And as far as ordinary love is concerned, it is a kind of greed.

That’s why there are people who love money, there are people who love houses, there are people who love this, who love that. Even if they love a woman or a man, it is simply their greed; they want to possess everything beautiful. It is a power trip. And in this power trip – the wife is always powerful – she holds the key and the husband becomes a henpecked husband! I have heard a story…. In the life of one of the great emperors of India, Akbar, there is a small story. He was very much interested in all kinds of talented people, and from all over India he had collected nine people, the most talented geniuses, who were known as the “nine jewels of Akbar’s court.”

One day, just gossiping with his vice-councilors, he said, “Last night I was discussing with my wife. She is very insistent that every husband is henpecked. I tried hard, but she says, `I know many families, but I have never found any husband who is not henpecked.’ What do you think?” he asked the councilors. One of the councilors, Birbal said, “Perhaps she is right, because you could not prove it.

You yourself are a henpecked husband; otherwise, you could have given her a good beating, then and there proving that, `Look, here is a husband!’”

He said, “That I cannot do, because I have to live with her. It is easy to advise somebody else to beat his wife. Can you beat your wife?”

Birbal said, “No, I cannot. I simply accept that I am a henpecked husband, and your wife is right.” But Akbar said, “It has to be found…. In the capital there must be at least one husband who is not henpecked. There is no rule in the world which has no exception, and this is not a rule at all.” So he said to Birbal,

“You take my two beautiful Arabian horses” — one was black, one was white — “and go around the capital. And if you can find a man who is not henpecked, you can give him the choice: whichever horse he wants is a present from me.” They were valuable. In those days horses were very valuable, and those were the most beautiful horses. Birbal said, “It is useless, but if you say, I will go.” He went, and everybody was found to be henpecked. It was very ordinary: He would just call the person and call his wife, and ask, “Are you henpecked or not?” The man would look at the wife and say, “You should have asked when I was alone. This is not right. You will create unnecessary trouble. Just for a horse I am not going to destroy my life. You take your horses, I don’t want any.” But one man was sitting in front of his house and two persons were massaging him. He was a wrestler, a champion wrestler, a very strong man. Birbal thought, “Perhaps this man… he can kill anybody without any weapons. If he can hold your neck, you are finished!”

Birbal said, “Can I ask you a question?”

He said, “Question? What question?” Birbal said, ”

Are you henpecked?”

That man said, “First, let us greet each other, a handshake.” And he crushed Birbal’s hand and said, “Unless you start crying and tears start coming from your eyes, I will not leave your hand. Your hand is finished. You dared to ask me such a question?” And Birbal was dying — he was almost a man of steel — and tears started coming, and he said,

“Just leave me. You are not henpecked. I have just come to a wrong place. But where is your wife?” He said, “Look, she is there, cooking my breakfast.” A very small woman was cooking his breakfast. The woman was so small and the man was so big that Birbal said, “There is a possibility that perhaps this man is not henpecked. He will kill this woman.”

So he said, “Now there is no need to go further into investigation. You can choose either horse from these two, black and white, a reward from the king for the one who is not henpecked. And at that time that small woman said,

“Don’t choose the black! Otherwise I will make your life a hell!”

The man said, “No, no, I will choose the white. You just keep quiet.”

Birbal said, “You don’t get either, neither white nor black. It is all finished, you lost the game. You are a henpecked husband.”

Remember – relationship is a power trip – couples fight to show their domination – and mostly it is found that the game ends with power in the wife’s hand – she makes you a perfect henpecked husband! Enough for now – take good care of yourself and remember to meditate and chant every day.

Retrogression is beautiful – especially from a spiritual perspective – whenever a transiting planet retrogrades it creates a wonderful opportunity for you to sit back and introspect on the matter of the house that it rules. Always remember it is necessary that in life – you get the opportunity or you create an opportunity for yourself to PAUSE for a while.

In life, it is necessary that you PAUSE during certain phases of life so that you can introspect and take a better view of certain matters of your life which need or has much scope for improvement.

Retrogression of transiting planet and retrogression of the natal planet are two different subjects. Transiting planet retrogression signifies a short span of time during which the native gets a rare window of opportunity to sit back – pause and introspect on the matters of the house that the retrograde planet signifies. However when it comes to the natal retrograde planet – then the native is destined to have lifelong learning lessons about the matters that the retrograde planet signifies in his or her chart.

When Venus is retrograde in a person’s birth chart – then such a person will have to go through many lessons of love – he may go through several break-ups in relationships, he may be cheated in love affairs, or he may simply go through all kind of sexual pleasures just to later realize that what an ass he has made of himself by running behind women and sex. So eventually – if the person is an evolved soul then this retrograde Venus in his birth chart enables him to learn – to evolve through the many bad or strange experiences that he had during his whole life. So retrogression leads to self-learning – to self-growth – especially if the soul is an evolved soul. When you fail – you learn something new – and this learning leads to success in the next relationship. However, if the learning is not happening – then you continue to fail in relationships.

Venus is the GODDESS OF ART – all kinds of arts. Love Making is also an art! And so women and men having retrograde Venus – generally are talented when it comes to the art of love-making – Kamasutra. In India – one man took the courage to document the many sexual positions by practically observing the art of lovemaking – and his name was Vatsyayana. I am of the view – that Vatsyayana must have had a retrograde Venus – because he was so much interested in analyzing the art of sex – that he spent many years of life writing a detailed scripture on the art of lovemaking – titled – “KAMASUTRA”.

However Vatsyayana was not a common soul – he was also a spiritual person – and this is seen through his writings. The whole purpose of Vatsyayana in sharing and educating society about SEX and LOVE MAKING – was basically to bring refinement in sexuality – because when you discuss SEX openly – when you DON’T find anything wrong about SEX – only then do you truly evolve as a much matured human being.

VATSYAYANA scripted the ancient Indian Sanskrit text on sexuality, eroticism, and emotional fulfillment in life however his personal life was highly spiritual and he was a very pious person and this is clearly reflected in the last words that he writes in his famous Sutras – the Kama Sutras (Sex Sermons):

Vatsyayana writes:

“After reading and considering the works of Babhravya and other ancient authors, and thinking over the meaning of the rules given by them, this treatise was composed, according to the precepts of the Holy Writ, for the benefit of the world, by Vatsyayana, while leading the life of a religious student at Benares, and wholly engaged in the contemplation of the Deity. This work is not to be used merely as an instrument for satisfying our desires. A person acquainted with the true principles of this science, who preserves his Dharma (virtue or religious merit), his Artha (worldly wealth) and his Kama (pleasure or sensual gratification), and who has regard for the customs of the people, is sure to obtain the mastery over his senses. In short, an intelligent and knowing person attending to Dharma and Artha and also to the Kama, without becoming the slave of his passions, will obtain success in everything that he may do.” – Vatsyayana

What a great human being – Vatsyayana was! Only a spiritual being can relate to these deep insightful words of – Vatsyayana!

Men and women having RETROGRADE VENUS have a far greater understanding of SEX and only that man and only that woman who can understand his or her SEX and SEXUALITY – can truly progress on the spiritual path. And nobody is going to tell you this – because not everybody is aware of the truth and those who are – may not dare to share. But I am telling you – that do not fear your sexuality – because unless you overcome your sexuality – you cannot transcend – you cannot truly become free of sexual desires. Remember – human life primarily revolves around two aspects – EGO and SEX. And overcoming these two aspects is the greatest challenge for a spiritual seeker – and a true spiritual seeker does not run away from EGO and SEX – instead, he tries to work on them by facing them and finishing them by realizing their futility. It is often said – that Prostitutes are bad – because day and night they do sex. Once it happened – a great King welcomed Swami Vivekananda. And this is a very old story – a story before Swami Vivekananda traveled to the US and became famous. So during those days – Swami Vivekananda was still evolving – he was very young but the King had heard about him and so he invited Swami Vivekananda to his court. And you know – how the Kings treat their guests – they treat them with beautiful dancers, beautiful prostitutes – and so when Swami Vivekananda came to his Palace – the King presented the most beautiful dancers, and beautiful prostitutes before him. The King completely forgot that to receive a sannyasin with the singing of prostitutes and dancing of prostitutes doesn’t suit. But he couldn’t know anything else. He always knew that when you have to receive somebody, drinking, and dancing have to be done.

And Vivekananda was still immature; he was not a perfect sannyasin yet. Had he been a perfect sannyasin, then there was indifference — no problem — but he was not indifferent yet. He has not gone that deep into Patanjali even. He was a young man and a very suppressive one who was suppressing his sex and everything. When he saw the prostitutes, he simply locked his room and would not come out of it.

The Maharaja came and he asked his forgiveness. He said, ‘We don’t know. We have never received any sannyasin. We always receive kings, so we know the ways. So we are sorry, but now it will be too much insulting because this is the greatest prostitute in the country — and very costly. And we have paid, and to say her to move and go will be insulting to her, and if you don’t come she will feel very much hurt. So come out.”

But Vivekananda was afraid to come out; that’s why I say he was still immature, still not a seasoned sannyasin. Still, indifference is not there — a condemnation: “A prostitute?” — he was very angry, and he said, “No” Then the prostitute started singing without him, and she sang a song of a saint. The song is very beautiful. The song says that “I know that I am not worthy of you, but you could have been a little more compassionate. I am dirt on the road; that I know. But you need not be so antagonistic to me. I am nobody — ignorant, a sinner. But you are a saint — why are you afraid of me?”

It is said Vivekananda heard from his room. The prostitute was weeping and singing, and he felt — he felt the whole situation of what he is doing. It is immature and childish. Why he is afraid? Fear exists only if you are attracted. You will be afraid of women if you are attracted to women. If you are not attracted, the fear disappears. What is fear? An indifference comes without any antagonism.

He opened the door: he couldn’t contain himself, he was defeated by the prostitute. The prostitute became victorious; he had to come out. He came and he sat, and he wrote in his diary that “A new revelation has been given to me by the divine. I was afraid… must be some lust within me. That’s why I was afraid. But the woman defeated me completely, and I have never seen such a pure soul. The tears were so innocent and the singing and the dancing were so holy that I would have missed them. And sitting near her, for the first time I became aware that it is not a question who is there outside; it is a question of what is.”

That night he wrote in his diary ‘Now I can even sleep with that woman in the bed and there will be no fear.” He transcended. That prostitute helped him to transcend. This is a miracle. Ramakrishna couldn’t help and a prostitute helped him. So nobody knows where the help will come from. Nobody knows what is evil and what is good. Who can decide? Mind is impotent and helpless. So don’t take any attitude: that is the meaning of being indifferent.

That prostitute was a woman with a pure heart. Always remember – never be quick to judge – you never know what lies beneath. Swami Vivekanand initially condemned the prostitute – but when she started singing – and he heard the words of her song – his heart melted – he came running to her – he must have touched her feet – he was a man of great stature – only a man of his stature can understand the heart of such a woman – that not only he is touched but he also sits down and writes in his diary – “A new revelation has been given to me by the divine. I was afraid… must be some lust within me. That’s why I was afraid. But the woman defeated me completely, and I have never seen such a pure soul. The tears were so innocent and the singing and the dancing were so holy that I would have missed them. And sitting near her, for the first time I became aware that it is not a question who is there outside; it is a question of what is.”

How deep is this my fellows – how deep – but only an evolved soul can understand the depth of it – others cannot.

The prostitute must have had a retrograde Venus – she may be an expert in the art of lovemaking – that’s what prostitutes are known for – and in fact, a prostitute is better than – the other woman. Because the other woman steals your husband – a prostitute has absolutely no interest in stealing your husband – therefore it is said that prostitutes have helped many married couples from falling apart!

Retrograde Planet, therefore, has the ability to bring a certain mastery in the matters that it rules however since much energy is spent in attaining mastery – the other dimensions of life suffer or take a backseat. For example – a retrograde Venus may compel you to spend most of your years in the matters of love, relationships, and the matters that Venus rules in your birth chart.

When Mercury is retrograde in a person’s birth chart – then such a person is always going through a lot of brain-storming – a lot of analysis which in turn provides him with a certain revelation or invention. Steve Jobs is one fine example of Retrograde Mercury – however, the buck doesn’t stop here. Although the retrogression of Mercury provides them the time and space to sit back, observe and analyze still it also gives them certain side effects such as making a wrong decision, choosing the wrong people, and getting cheated. In 1985 – Steve Jobs was forced to resign from Apple. He was the founder of Apple – and yet he had to leave Apple. However in 1997 – after 12 years of break – Steve returned to Apple with the new concept of the i-phone! This is the basic trend of Mercury Retrograde – that what was left unfinished – needs to be finished and for that one has to return and deliver. Since it is Mercury – the matter is more related to intellectual property. Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; symbols, names, and images used in commerce. By returning to Apple – Steve Jobs finished his unfinished karmic dues of delivering the greatest intellectual property to the human world – the making of the iPhone! He died in 2011 – but in the last 14 years that he spent working for Apple – he was able to complete most of his unfinished business – the Retrograde Mercury in his chart had delivered what was promised and what needed to be completed. It is said that when Steve Jobs died – the only book that he had with him was the book written by Paramhansa Yogananda – “Autobiography of a Yogi”. Probably during the last days of his life – he was reading this book and who knows – that this book may lead him to a new level of consciousness – a new level of rebirth in which the Mercury is no more retrograde because the work has been accomplished – the awareness has risen – the consciousness has expanded! God bless His soul.

So retrograde Mercury is not bad – because it provides a window of opportunity to sit back, and spend more time on a certain subject – it gives great potential to analyze deeply and find out that which others have been missing to find. However for retrograde mercury to fructify positively – the whole chart needs to have a certain quality to it. In a cheap fellows birth chart – a fellow who comments to hurt others – in such a person’s chart – this kind of development will prove futile. And therefore it is only when the person is an evolved soul or an evolving soul – that this Retrograde Mercury can show great results and lead one to some great inventions, discoveries as well as great artistic talents. Madonna and Lady Gaga also have Retrograde Mercury. Interestingly those who had Retrograde Mercury in their birth chart – these fellows enjoy the time when transiting Mercury goes retrograde! Simply because these fellows are born with the qualities of doing deep analysis – that the transit Mercury Retrograde period compliments their in-born retrograde mercury qualities. Transiting Retrograde Mercury proves challenging for those who do not have retrograde mercury in their birth charts – they are not used to pausing and analyzing – they like to analyze while moving ahead but transiting Mercury slows down the pace of their work-life and compels them to pause and look back.

People often relate reincarnations with retrograde – but that is a myth. Retrograde has absolutely nothing to do with reincarnation. Retrograde simply is a state of quality (Guna) that a native is born with. Many people also associate the myth – that a retrograde planet gives birth to the house behind it – meaning if Retrograde Mercury is in the 7th house – it will give results of the 6th house – this is also a farce – a myth. Nothing sort of this happens in real life – Retrograde Mercury means a state of the Brain that simply likes to pause (or is compelled to pause) and analyze. So when you pause and spend a lot of energy on analyzing – delays happen – people say that ‘you take a lot of time’ to conclude. But that’s how it is. To some – you may also appear as a black sheep or an odd figure – but then that is bound to happen because in the count of ten – only two will have retrograde mercury – and the minority always stands out – and so does the fellows having Retrograde Mercury.

However – I again repeat that the horoscope needs to have a certain quality to it – else Retrograde Mercury is like a SHARP EDGE SWORD – if it is put to use for a good purpose – it can lead to great intellectual output however if it is put to bad purpose – then cheaters, frauds and even black magicians are born with this kind of Retrograde Mercury in a troubled horoscope. However, in a good quality horoscope – the result of Retrograde Mercury is always good.

Always remember – and I say this specifically to my close followers – that in every man – GOOD and EVIL exist. GOD and DEVIL – both exist in you – depending on your KARMA – you either boost the GOD within you or the DEVIL within you – and retrograde Mercury will work based on which side you choose – the GOOD or the DEVIL. For example – on this forum, many people claim that they are students of astrology but look at their comments – their comments show what they are – in the true sense. And so always remember – a single planet is not bad or good – what makes him bad or good is the environment in which the planet is placed – if a good seed is placed in a bad garden – it will turn out bad. And if a bad seed is placed in a good garden – it will turn out good. So the environment matters – the holistic quality of the birth chart is what matters. It happened once – that there was a great artist – he must be like me – he was in search of a beautiful person. He want to paint a portrait of an innocent beautiful person and he searched and he searched and finally, he came across a beautiful young boy – and he looked so innocent – so candid – so energetic and so full of life that the young artist decided to paint his portrait. Millions of copies of the portrait were made and it sold far and wide. People felt great gratitude, for just being able to hang the picture on their walls.

After a gap of twenty years, when the artist had grown old, he decided to paint another portrait. This time – he wanted to paint a portrait of the worst cruel person on this planet. Because after living through many experiences of life – he realized that along with GOOD – DEVIL also exists in human beings. And so he started searching for a man who is not a man but a DEVIL. Someone who would go to gambling dens, bars, and to madhouses. This subject had to be full of hell’s fire; his face had to show all that is evil, ugly, and sadistic.
After a long search, the artist finally met a prisoner in a jail. The man had committed seven murders and had been sentenced to be hanged in a few days. Hell was evident in the man’s eyes; they spouted hate. His face was the ugliest one could hope to find. The artist began to paint him.
When he had completed the portrait he brought out his earlier picture and set it by the side of the new painting for contrast. It was difficult to assess which was better from an artistic point of view; both were marvelous. He stood, staring at both of them. And then he heard a sob. He turned and saw the chained prisoner, crying. The artist was bewildered. He asked, “My friend, why are you crying? Do these pictures disturb you?”
The prisoner said, “I have been trying to hide something from you all this time, but today I am lost. You obviously do not know that the first picture is also of me. Both portraits are of me. I am the same shepherd you met twenty years ago in the hills. I cry for my downfall in the last twenty years. I have fallen from heaven to hell, from God to Satan.”

This is how the story of human beings is. That a good man – the most innocent joyful shepherd eventually became a murderer and not just one murder but 7 murders. What I am trying to help you all understand is that – it all depends on what you are from within. And your birth chart is simply a MIRROR of what you are from within. Depending on whether your birth chart depicts GODLINESS or DEVILISHNESS – the retrograde Mercury will provide results.

Always thinking differently – that is the very essence of Retrograde Mercury. However, whether this DIFFERENT thought pattern is positive or negative – depends solely on the house placement and overall state of Mercury Maharaj. If the placement of Mercury Maharaj is positive – then the native turns out to be a genius. His out-of-the-box thinking leads to many new inventions and discoveries. One fine example of Retrograde Mercury is Steve Jobs – the man who invented Apple computers and iPhone and iPads. However it is also necessary to remember that he was forced to leave the company – it is said that the primary reason was his differences with the company management. Differences of opinion is one major outcome of Retrograde Mercury person – he feels as if nobody can understand his point of view and so then either he has to leave or he is forced to leave.

During the 2016 elections – Donald Trump called Hillary Clinton “ Crooked Hillary” – interestingly Hillary Clinton has a Retrograde Mercury and she was tried for the infamous email controversy. During her tenure as United States Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton drew controversy by using a private email server for official public communications rather than using official State Department email accounts maintained on federal servers. It seems that Retrograde Mercury is placed in the second house of her birth chart. Corruption charges were levied against the Clinton Foundation. So many such scandalous clouds surround when Mercury is retrograde in your birth chart. If she would have become the US President then there was a possibility that she would have made many wrong decisions. Retrograde Mercury leads you to make wrong decisions or you simply end up making no decision – either way, life suffers because of being indecisive – a major outcome of Retrograde Mercury.

Retrograde Mercury can do something unusual in life. Julia Roberts – even though by birth is Christian – started following the great spiritual master – Neem Karoli Baba and eventually took to the Hindu faith. She changed the names of her 3 children by giving them Hindu names – Laxmi for Hazel, Ganesh for Phinnaeus, and Krishna Balram for Henry. So such drastic change in outlook towards life can happen with a positive Retrograde Mercury.

However, if the placement of Mercury Maharaj is not good and the overall chart belongs to a base level person – a person who abuses others through his or her negative comments – a person who goes on hurting others by his or her cheap shallow talk or a person who simply loves to harm others by indulging in the dirty act of black magic – then such a person with Retrograde Mercury causes much harm to the society – he may even become a terrorist or he may just become a nuisance to the society in general.

It all depends on the overall quality of the birth chart. There are many idiotic men and idiotic women on this forum who continue to hurt others by posting negative comments and by doing this they create a new cycle of BAD KARMA for themselves – such natives suffer a lot in life – they die in utter disappointments. And many of such kind of cheap shallow and so-called ‘intellectual’ natives have an afflicted Mercury or Retrograde Mercury in a very bad state. One should stay away from such natives as they are dangerous and can cause much harm and pain to you. Always remember – MONEY – is NOT the criteria to judge a person’s level of understanding. I meet almost many men and women who have tons of money in their bank accounts and yet if you ask me – they are the most idiotic people I have ever met! Of course when I meet them I smile – but within I pity them for their utter ignorant life.

Retrograde Mercury – good or bad – the native is difficult to deal with. Because even though his or her intentions are good – they just can’t think and respond in a normal way. In our Indian television – there was an advertisement for the snack called “Kurkure” – their punch line was “THEDHA HAI PAR MERA HAI”. It means “He is crooked but still he is mine.”

So is the case with Retrograde Mercury – in negative scenarios – these natives are very shrewd and also crooked – and so in Politics or in Board Games, they do extremely well.

Retrograde Mercury in a birth chart with Ascendant Gemini, Libra or Aquarius is a highly intellectual person. Does well in IT industry or in news media.

Often these natives are perceived as Mad – because they can do the unimaginable. Do you remember the scene from the movie “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” – the Hero is determined to enter Pakistan by crossing the Indian borders and that too without a Pakistani Visa! And when the Pakistani Soldiers stop him and ask him to return back to Indian territory – he denies and innocently tells the Pakistani soldiers that he has crossed the borders just so that he can help the little Pakistani girl find her lost parents based in Pakistan! Listening to this – the Pakistani soldiers make fun of him and say that he is not mad but FULL MAD. This is how RETROGRADE MERCURY is – FULL MAD. But even this full madness is adorable when the intention behind this madness is GOOD. And so the Pakistani soldiers let him have his way. Actually when I watched the Pakistani Soldiers saying “yeh to Pura paagal hai” (“he is full mad”) – I had a good laugh – it was such a beautiful scene depicting the innocence of a man who is determined to help the lost Pakistani girl find her parents! I laughed as well as my eyes became wet. Beautiful. And so MADNESS is not bad – MADNESS is good as long as it serves a good purpose. And Retrograde Mercury is also good as long as it serves a good purpose.

It reminds me of a beautiful story – the story of one such mad man and his name was Mojud. He lived in a town where he had obtained a post as a small official, and it seemed likely that he would end his days as Inspector of weights and measures.

One day when he was walking through the gardens of an ancient building near his home, Khidr, the mysterious guide of the Sufis, appeared to him, dressed in shimmering green. Khidr said, “Man of bright prospects! Leave your work and meet me at the riverside in three days’ time.” then he disappeared.

Mojud went to his superior in trepidation and said that he had to leave. Everyone in the town soon heard of this and they said, “poor Mojud! He has gone mad.” but, as there were many candidates for his job, they soon forgot him.

On the appointed day, Mojud met Khidr, who said to him, “Tear your clothes and throw yourself into the stream. Perhaps someone will save you.”

Mojud did so, even though he wondered if he were mad.

Since he could swim, he did not drown, but drifted a long way before a fisherman hauled him into his boat, saying, “foolish man! The current is strong. What are you trying to do?” Mojud said, “I don’t really know.”

“You are mad,” said the fisherman, “but I will take you into my reed-hut by the river yonder, and we shall see what can be done for you.”

When he discovered that Mojud was well-spoken, he learned from him how to read and write. In exchange, Mojud was given food and helped the fisherman with his work. After a few months, Khidr again appeared, this time at the foot of Mojud’s bed, and said, “Get up now and leave this fisherman. You will be provided for.”

Mojud immediately quit the hut, dressed as a fisherman, and wandered about until he came to a highway.

As dawn was breaking he saw a farmer on a donkey on his way to the market. “Do you seek work?” asked the farmer, “because I need a man to help me bring back some purchases.”

Mojud followed him. He worked for the farmer for nearly two years, by which time he had learned a great deal about agriculture but little else.

One afternoon when he was baling wool, Khidr appeared to him and said, “Leave that work, walk to the city of Mosul, and use your savings to become a skin-merchant.”

Mojud obeyed.

In Mosul he became known as a skin-merchant, never seeing Khidr while he plied his trade for three years. He had saved quite a large sum of money, and was thinking of buying a house, when Khidr appeared and said, “Give me your money, walk out of this town as far as the distant Samarkand, and work for a grocer there.”

Mojud did so.

Presently he began to show undoubted signs of illumination. He healed the sick, served his fellow man in the shop during his spare time, and his knowledge of the mysteries became deeper and deeper.

Clerics, philosophers and others visited him and asked, “Under whom did you study?”

“It is difficult to say,” said Mojud.

His disciples asked, “How did you start your career?”

He said, “As a small official.” “And you gave it up to devote yourself to self-mortification?”

“No, I just gave it up.” they did not understand him.

People approached him to write the story of his life.

“What have you been in your life?” they asked.

“I jumped into a river, became a fisherman, and then walked out of his reed-hut in the middle of the night. After that, I became a farmhand. While I was baling wool, I changed and went to Mosul, where I became a skin merchant. I saved some money there but gave it away. Then I walked to Samarkand where I worked for a grocer. And this is where I am now.”

“But this inexplicable behavior throws no light upon your strange gifts and wonderful examples,” said the biographers.

“That is so,” said Mojud.

So the biographers constructed for Mojud a wonderful and exciting story: because all saints must have their story and the story must be in accordance with the appetite of the listener, not with the realities of life. And this is the real life of one of the greatest Sufis.

Mojud became a great Sufi Saint and much credit goes to his madness – which enabled him to take all kinds of risks – whenever Khidr used to appear and ORDER – Mojud used to follow the ORDERS – he never thought before jumping into the unknown and this courage led him to many spiritual experiences. Courage comes from madness – when you are madly in love with your country – you will not hesitate to fight till the very end of your life. That is how madness is necessary – only a MAD man can do that which nobody else can do and that is why only a MAD man can achieve that which nobody else can achieve. Avatar Meher Baba was fond of mad people – he always was in search of mad people – because he was aware that a mad man is already out of his mind but unconsciously – he just needs proper guidance and then he can come out of his mind but this time consciously. Your so-called sane people are too much caught in their minds – they will take more time than a mad man.

Retrograde mercury is like a deadly knife – if put to good use – it can create the greatest wonders that the world had ever known. And if put to bad use – then they can destroy the whole world. Basically, it is a power-packed horse – that needs a good jockey. This ‘jockey’ is your awareness – so depending on the level of awareness that a soul had brought from his or her previous birth – this Retrograde Mercury will fructify.

Retrograde Mercury in the 6th house – 8th house and 12th house is NOT bad. However, if Retrograde Mercury associates with the 6th, 8th, or 12th house lord then it is a problem. Then such a person may not have the capability to think positively. So it all depends on the associations that such a Retrograde Mercury enjoys in your birth chart. Bad house associations will lead to bad results and good house associations will lead to good results.

One of the best outcomes is when Jupiter casts its 5th, 7th or 9th Drishti on Retrograde Mercury. Then such a Retrograde Mercury gets the support of the MASTER and then the native does extremely well in his or her life. The Association of Jupiter with Mercury is a good sign – signify a well-balanced sorted person. However, the WORST outcome is when RETROGRADE MERCURY associates with RAHU. Such a person is toxic – especially if his horoscope is poor in quality.

Retrograde Mercury with Ketu is also a very unfortunate sign. Retrograde Mercury is not in its normal state and on top of that KETU’s association nullifies the good qualities of mercury. Logic, Intellectuality, and overall communication abilities suffer because of such an association.

A ‘sharp knife’ can help you cut vegetables while the same ‘sharp knife’ can become a weapon to harm innocent men – so it all depends on WHO uses the knife. This WHO is consciousness, awareness. If the person is born with a certain higher level of awareness then he can do wonders with such a sharp knife – Retrograde Mercury. Otherwise, a cheap, abusive, ignorant person will simply cause much harm to society with such a Retrograde Mercury.

If a plain stone falls in a ‘temple’ or a ‘shrine’ – then even that plain stone someday becomes a holy stone! And if the same plain stone falls in the graveyard – then someday it is used while digging the graveyard. So it all depends on where the stone falls – similarly, it all depends on what kind of horoscope – Retrograde Mercury falls!

And this all is based on your past karma. The more you hurt others by your comments and your actions – the more you will fall into the dark spaces of the graveyard. And the more you bring smiles on others faces – the more you will be destined to fall into a beautiful divine temple!

A very significant question considering that Mercury is debilitated in Pisces.

Debilitation – the real meaning of debilitation is that the planet’s influence is LESS. Debilitation means not that the planet is weak – debilitation means the planet is simply incapable of making its FULL INFLUENCE on the native which is good considering that MERCURY is LOGIC – MERCURY is INTELLECTUALISM and INTELLECTUALISM is indeed a poor substitute for INTELLIGENCE.

Hazarat Babajan – the greatest Sufi Saint that the world had ever known – transferred her powers to a young Parsi boy – and he must be 12 yrs old at that time – and it was this young Parsi boy who later came to be known as AVATAR MEHER BABA! The story is beautiful and it is REAL. It happened in Pune. It happened with a kiss from Hazrat Babajan.

It happened so that the young Parsi boy (Merwan Sheriar Irani) was just passing, coming back from his school. He must be not more than 12 years old. Hazrat Babajan – was just sitting under a tree for years and years and years. The young Parsi boy (Merwan Sheriar Irani) was just coming, and Babajan called him. He knew this old lady. She was sitting for years under the tree, and he had passed by that street daily on his way towards his school and towards his home. She called and he came near. She kissed him – and he dropped as if dead just there. Then he had to be carried home. For one year continuously the kiss remained on him and he was in a coma. It may happen suddenly like this. This was a great transfer, and Hazrat Babajan died afterward because she had just been waiting for this moment to give someone the whole energy. This was her last life, and there was not enough time even to explain what she was giving. And also, she was not the type to have explained. She was a silent mystic. She had not touched anybody for years. She was only waiting for this moment when she was to kiss someone and the whole energy was to be transferred in a single transfer. Before this, she had not even touched anyone, so this touch was to be total.

When the divine touch – when the realization – when the enlightenment happens – all actions stop. Because desires no more exist. Many desires will drop and many actions also. Those actions which were just caused by desires will drop. If I was running for a particular desire, how can I run if the desire has dropped? My running will stop. At least the same running on the same route will stop. So when a person becomes desireless, at least for an interim period, for an interval – and how long it will be will depend on the individual – he will become inactive. The desires will have dropped – and all the actions that he had been doing were concerned with desires, so how can he continue? They will drop. One may also go into a coma. That is how the young Parsi boy ((Merwan Sheriar Irani)- with that divine touch of Hazrat Babajan – went into a coma – because all desires vanished with that one divine kiss – and when there is absolutely NO DESIRE – there is NO ACTION – you almost go into a deep sleep to which the world may address as Coma!

After 1 year of coma, Merwan Sheriar Irani opens his eyes – his eyes are the same but now his perspective towards life has changed – everything around him is the same – but he is no more the same – great spiritual energy – a great light has come to his heart – the transferring has happened – spontaneously – with just one divine kiss – the Hazarat has passed on her ‘self’ to Merwan who later came to be known as AVATAR MEHER BABA – how deep must be the love between them – how deep must be the connection of many past lives between them!

The question or rather the focus should be on how we can focus within. TOO MUCH OF MERCURY always moves your attention outward and LESS OF MERCURY with the right support of JUPITER and KETU always moves you WITHIN – therefore Mercury in PISCES is excellent for spiritual progress because when the HEAD is LESS – you will stop AGREEING and DISAGREEING and you will simply let the words of the master penetrate your being – and it is these words – it these beautiful divine words of the master that can bring inner transformation – and real growth begins only when you start transforming within.

God experience is possible only when you are REBORN. That’s what Jesus says to Nicodemus when Nicodemus comes to meet Jesus on a dark night. He comes and asks Jesus “How to experience God?” And Jesus says “To experience God – you have to reborn.”

Nicodemus is a very old man – he must be 80 yrs old – he asks “What do you mean when you say REBORN?”

Jesus says “Reborn means dropping all your learning, your scholarship, your head – your Ego – it is the death of your material life and the birth of your spiritual life.”

My fellows – debilitated planet in an evolved soul’s birth chart therefore works wonders because it is a sign that the qualities of that planet are no more required – the soul has moved on – the journey has begin – the journey within and NOW there is NO LOOKING BACK.

Retrogression signify – Correction.

Whenever Mercury goes retrograde- corrective actions – corrections in your day-to-day activities take place. You look back on the papers you have documented, decisions you have taken, selections you have made, project planning you have done – all and everything that has been going on and around is now being corrected or let’s say you get a window of opportunity to do the correction.

Depends on the level of your Consciousness- the greater you are conscious the greater is the scope to use this retrograde state of Mercury to do all corrections and set your life back on track!

For those ignorant beings – retrograde mercury becomes a hard patch because they are ‘sleeping’ and NOT AWAKE. They were just moving like a robot as Mercury was moving in its direct motion. But suddenly the Mercury stops moving in its normal speed – slows down (retrograde) and then these robots don’t know what to do. They get confused and so then you see chaos in their life for the time until Mercury gets Direct.

So you see – now we have seen two sides of the same coin (retrograde mercury). One is of the Conscious living and the other is of Ignorant living. The man of awareness makes the best out of the retrograde Mercury period while the man of Ignorance faces many chaotic situations while Mercury is retrograde.

Consciousness is BLISS. Ignorance is Misery.

And the majority is living a life that is full of ignorance – full of MIND – and the MIND is a ROBOT. The Mind is mechanical – it has absolutely NO intelligence.

Understand the fact that this MIND is your MOON.

And BEYOND the LOGIC – is the most beautiful planet that has helped the whole universe and you and me and everybody to live a conscious life – a life of love – of consciousness – of awareness and the name of that holy planet is JUPITER – SRI GURU!

GURU – Jupiter. To reach the GURU – to comes closer to consciousness – understand the fact that first, you have to OVERCOME the MOON – then the MERCURY – and then finally you come to the ABODE OF SRI GURU!

Now your question is related to Mercury debilitating in Pieces. But I would have loved if you would ask “Why Mercury is debilitated in Pieces?”

A money-man, a banker, a philosopher will not like to be in the Abode of His holiness – the Guru! Because here – in the ABODE OF THE HOLY MASTER – intellectualism has no ground – no value – and MERCURY is all about showing off intellectualism! And so Mercury becomes weak in the ABODE OF SRI GURU – Pieces – the 12th Zodiac – the Abode of the BEYOND – liberation – MOKSHA!

In the greater interest of all my dear followers and readers – let us first understand the WHY before we come to the WHAT!

Mercury is your way of thinking – in our IT software language – it is called ‘PROGRAMMING’ – how you have been programmed – and let it be very clear that the state of programming (Mercury) comes purely from you last many births – and the KARMA that you have been executing.

Now – the MIND is the monkey – meaning it has no direction – it is like a child – it just does all the things that a 1-year-old child does – it becomes angry – it becomes adamant – it becomes ARROGANT – it becomes mad – it becomes crazy – it becomes wild – so you see it just goes on BECOMING – it cannot BE – the nature of the MIND is BECOMING.

A man ruled by the MIND is always trying to BECOME – when in reality GOD wants us all to BE – BE YOURSELF!

Once it happened – there was a monk – and whole life he lived in trying to become like Buddha – and now he was on his deathbed and some of his followers were present. Suddenly the old monk started crying – so much so that he could not control himself…..

One of the followers stepped ahead and asked him “Master why are you crying what is it that you miss – what is it that you regret?”

And the old monk said “ I regret not BEING MYSELF! And now when I am standing at the doorstep of DEATH – now that anytime I will be leaving this physical body and heading towards GOD – I don’t know how to face God. What to say when God will ask me “ Izutsu – I had sent you to BE Izutusu – then why did you spend your whole life in BECOMING like Jesus, BECOMING like Buddha, BECOMING like Mahavira – like Krishna? If I had wanted I would have given birth to hundreds of Gautama Buddhas, hundreds of Jesus, hundreds of Mahavira, BUT I made only one Gautama Buddha – only one Mahavira and so I had made only ONE Izutsu and yet you spend your whole life in BECOMING when you were meant to BE YOURSELF – BE IZUTSU!”

And then the old monk took his last breath….

The followers touched the feet of IZUTSU – the old monk. Even though late – Izutsu had realized his mistake – and through his last words – he also had brought awareness to his followers! And so they all touched his feet – they had no words to express their gratitude they just remained close to him – until Izutsu – the old monk took the last breath of his life.

Whole life is spent in BECOMING – when in reality you are supposed to BE YOURSELF!

The MIND is immatured – it goes on becoming and WHEN Mercury comes in the clutches of the MIND (Moon) – imagine what can happen?

The Man or Women with Mercury in PIECES simply is driven by the WHIMS AND FANCIES of the MOON – and the MOON (MIND) is restless by nature. The nature of the MIND is to wander – but in reality, YOU are NOT the mind – say Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi – but the man with such a placement finds it difficult to understand – to digest. Because he or she is so much trapped in the MIND and the MIND is a monkey!

The mind is the WORLD. And NO MIND is freedom from the WORLD!

But in this material world – where you have to perform certain duties – certain tasks – certain businesses – you got have good logic that is directed by the MIND that has merged with the HEART!

Understand this – and through your question, I appeal to all my genuine followers and readers – understand this – that the LOGIC that is derived from the MIND – is a LOGIC of INTELLECTUALITY.
While the LOGIC that comes from a MIND that is NOW tuned with your HEART – is a LOGIC of INTELLIGENCE.

PIECES ZODIAC MERCURY – is totally lost in the MIND. And so neither intellectuality nor intelligence is seen. But you know – still there is a silver lining to this placement – and let me tell you that I just love it.

And the silver lining is that BECAUSE the INTELLECTUALITY is NIL – there is EVERY POSSIBILITY that just with the omnipresence of the GURU – the holy MASTER – this PIECES MERCURY can be diverted towards the HEART through the practice of deep meditation! And so with my eyes, I have seen many beautiful souls with this placements – through meditative, spiritualized way of life – they all have transformed into beautiful butterflies – souls of love and peace!

And so if you ask me – then personally I LOVE PIECES MERCURY – it has all the potential to rise by adhering to a meditative life!

BUT – if they continue to live a typical plastic rose lifestyle – ignorant lifestyle – then the same PIECES MERCURY brings MANY MANY EMOTIONAL TURMOILS in their life – they just seem to never stop – as if they are rolling along with the high and low tides of the sea!

So it is a wonderful placement – because you either spend whole life by going through the many emotional turmoils or you simply turn inwards and rise above the mind and experience the bliss, the love, the peace within!

How beautiful life can be – when you spend a minimum of 1 hour in the early morning hours in a deep meditative state!

But who wants to listen? People are simply shallow – they just want to throw away money and want solutions as if solutions are manufactured products!

Products – Human beings are becoming PRODUCTS. And that is the greatest irony of this so-called developing mechanized technology AGE! The HUMAN TOUCH is missing – insensitiveness has become so common – that there is no way to express what is happening all around us!

People want everything READYMADE – when the reality of LIFE is that NOTHING COMES READYMADE – it all comes through your OWN ACTIONS!

Actions! And you also want to know the right action – the right remedies that would help you to overcome the state of your PIECES MERCURY!

But let me tell you and through you – to all my followers that 8TH House Mercury is a good placement. It certainly is an encouraging sign that can help you to experience the BEYOND – the unseen – the unknown! It certainly makes the person – or at least helps the person to understand the essence of spirituality – you do are spiritualized by this placement – so in a way, 8th Mercury for Leo Ascendant is a good placement!

Such a placement brings interest in the OCCULT. In the darker sides of HUMAN LIFE. And only a man who can deal with his own darkness – can deal with the darkness of others!

And the remedies are simple! Start fasting on Mondays – visit Lord Shiva Temple and offer Abhishek using fresh raw cow milk. Offer some raw rice grains on Shiva Linga. Sit for a while and meditate on HIS holy name – 108 times:

“Aum Namaha Shivaya.Aum Namaha Shivaya.Aum Namaha Shivaya……”

And then bow before HIS Shiva Linga and resume your worldly duties!

Always remember – and I would want all my followers to realize that you don’t have to RUN AWAY or ESCAPE from your worldly duties and responsibilities. You have to execute your responsibilities and duties – BUT while you DO SO – you have to learn to remain DETACHED!

And so to all my followers and readers – I insist that DO NOT TRY TO FIND AN ESCAPE ROUTE – the beauty is in going through the daily chores of life while you remain detached – engrossed within.

To be meditative is to walk, talk, execute your duties – but without getting distracted – without moving away from your inner self – your inner being! And so every Monday – you spend some time in HIS temple – meditate on HIS name.

And the second remedy is to visit every Wednesday – to Lord Ganesha temple – offer some sweets before Him and sit and read the Ganesha Shloka – or Atharva Shirsha or – any scriptures that relate to Lord Ganesha as per your region and language! Just surrender to HIM – in his peaceful Abode – find your peace – close your eyes and spend some time – meditating on HIS name: – ||Aum Gam Ganapataye Namaha||

What other remedies are required? The greatest REMEDY is to SURRENDER yourself in TOTALITY to HIS HOLINESS FEET.

But who wants to listen? People are roaming around with big fat wallets and purses – ready to spend on all kind of ‘things’ to find a solution – when the most effective solution needs no money – but DEEP FAITH and DEEP LOVE!

But people don’t get it. They call me and they want to listen to what their mind wants to listen and then I have to disconnect because I am not to entertain your MIND – I am here to HELP YOU GO BEYOND THE MONKEY MIND. And so you will find me unreasonable – if you are a follower of your MIND and you will find me reasonable – if you are a follower of your HEART!

I remain the way I am. It is your perspective that goes on giving different shades and colors to my identity – in reality, I am as I am. And so there is no need to give any explanations to those who are following their MIND.

The MIND needs explanations – because the MIND thrives on LOGIC.
The HEART needs NO explanations – because the HEART thrives on LOVE.

And I am all for LOVE – and so only that man and that woman can reach me – resonate with me and follow me – who is also – all for LOVE!

Somebody may ask “But how to learn about love – who can teach me, love?”

And the answer is – NOBODY CAN TEACH YOU LOVE.

And so see – we all have come back to the root of our blissful existence – and that is CONSCIOUSNESS!

The way to OVERCOME any difficulties of your life is not by ESCAPING but by FACING those difficulties with CONSCIOUSNESS.

And the remedy and the way to come closer to the higher realms of consciousness is by turning inwards and meditating on HIS holy name.

Always remember that to find a solution – your present level of consciousness cannot help – you have to raise the level of your consciousness – only then there can be a flow of JOY, a flow of LOVE, and an unending fragrance of your DEVOTION!

And the greatest diversion from consciousness is to THINK THAT YOU ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE REST! When in reality we all are a part of this UNIVERSE – to whom Einstein calls – the WHOLE!

Whenever I address as you or your – it is not just for the questioner but to all my fellow travelers and followers and readers. So let this be very clear.

And so that man and that woman are living in utter ignorance – who goes on thinking and believing that ‘I am different’ – you are not different – you cannot be – because WE ALL ARE CONNECTED and that is ONENESS!

The spiritualists of WEST are now talking a lot about ONENESS – but from AGES and AGES – in our soil – there have been many many SAINTS who have had mentioned about ONENESS – (NON-DUALITY)!

What a beautiful verse from the holy book “Dyaneshwari” written by the one of the greatest Saint – Sant Dyaneshwar – and that too when he was 16 years old! 600 years ago – HE had mentioned about ONENESS – and now all over the globe – within the westerners – they all are coming to the fact that the UNIVERSE is ONE – that WE ALL ARE CONNECTED to the SUPREME – that there is NO DUALITY – but WE ALL ARE ONE – ONENESS!

The secret is ONENESS and ignorant fellows are trying to be different! Now, what to say? And this is how 90% of this human world is – trying to be different!

But you – my fellows and followers on this forum – you all must be special in some way because following a person like me – a total out-of-mind person like me – needs some courage – because to follow me – you have to keep your mind aside – only then can my words penetrate in your inner being – only then can my sharing touch your heart!

And so those who are simply letting my words penetrate in your being without agreeing or disagreeing – can understand – can relate and can resonate with my answers with my sharings! And indeed such men and women – must be special.

Somebody may ask ‘What is the way to be special?” How can you come to the state of being special?”

And the answer is found in the below picture quote:

…and then you will be special! How beautiful is this – the way to be special is by being ordinary – and bringing GOD to your life – meditating on HIS holy name – engrossing yourself in HIS holy name and while you do so – never let the EGO magnify that you are doing something special and then….you will be special!

And so come, come you all – and let us all be special – by turning inward – by quieting the monkey mind and letting the SOUL speak – for it is only when your SOUL speaks with you that you find the answers you have been seeking.

And the SOUL speaks in Silence. Real communication happens in SILENCE.

Meher Baba – remained his whole life – silent – he never spoke a single word and yet through his written messages – changed many hearts – many many hearts across the world. TRUTH needs no voice – it only needs Silence – pure silence.

Knowledge is noisy. And Truth is found only in silence – deep silence.

Come you all – come and meditate – let there be deep silence – quiet the chattering mind – close your eyes and remain focused within.

Mercury is a processor. And each one of us has this “processer” placed in our birth chart. The configuration of this processer is purely based on your past karma. If you have used this processor for doing good, for encouraging others, for helping others, for spreading love and light – for inventing products that would help mankind – then this birth you have arrived with a well-placed Mercury – Mercury which is not retrograde but is normal and placed in 3rd, 6th, 7th, 10th, or 11th house in your birth chart. The most suitable house placement for Mercury is indeed 2,3,5,6,7,10,11.

But the buck doesn’t stop here. Mercury placement is the first checkpoint. If you clear this first checkpoint then the next checkpoint is the NAKSHATRA in which your MERCURY is placed.

The answer is simple. In fact TRUTH has always been simple.

Mercury does well in the Nakshatra of Venus, Rahu, Saturn. These are buddies of Mercury and we all love our buddies!

Happiness Is Being With My Buddies.

And so MERCURY is HAPPY when HE is with his buddies (Venus, Rahu, Saturn).

Mercury therefore does well in the following Nakshatras:

1. Swati (Libra)
2. Shatabhisha (Aquarius)
3. Ardra (Gemini)
4. Purvaphalguni (Leo)
5. Bharani (Aries)
6. Purvashada (Saggitarrius)
7. Pushya (Cancer)
8. Uttarabhadrapad (Pisces)
9. Anuradha (Scorpio)

Mercury also does well in its own Nakshatra. Mercury does well in Ashlesha, Jyestha and Revati Nakshatra.

Pisces is NOT bad for Mercury – my fellows. One man – and he was the greatest scientist that the world had ever known – ALBERT EINSTEIN – had his MERCURY in PISCES. So you now tell me – one of teh greatest genius is born with PISCES MERCURY and in India you see all screaming from their stomach – that MERCURY is debilitated in PISCES or MERCURY is not good in PISCES! That is all FAKE. TRUTH is something else – and this sharing is only for my close followers – the rest can ignore and continue with their bookish lessons.

Mercury shows its colors and shades based on the Nakshatra and signs – and so when Mercury is placed in:

1. Swati (Libra) – The person is intellectual. And if there is a certain depth in the horoscope then this intellectualism can also rise to the level of intelligence. Intellectualism is NOT intelligence – intellectualism is of the head, intelligence is when your head is in tune with your heart!
2. Shatabhisha (Aquarius) – Highly intellectual. Sexual. Loves to have large network of friends. Generally is famous within his circle. This Mercury enjoys a certain Authority – the person either attains a prominent place in society or is connected with affluent person. A certain glamor is seen with this Mercury.
3. Ardra (Gemini) – Excellent in communication. Takes great interest in magic, art, board games. Generally comes with emotional Intelligence. Highly diplomatic in conversations. Generally never let others know what exactly is going on in his or her mind.
4. Purvaphalguni (Leo) – Drama, acting, intelligence, politics, this Mercury is a SHOWMAN. Loves to flaunt his new i-phone or a new Mercedes or anything that boosts his or her pride. PRIDE is the whole point. Whatever adds to his pride – he will definitely flaunt it. SHOW OFF is what they like. These fellows are NOT stingy or NARROW MIND people – the like to live it LARGE. In a way a friend having this Mercury placement is a good friend. He may be the greatest SHOW OFF person in your building but he will be also the only person who will come to help you – because he has a large heart – he roars like a lion – he eats like a lion and he also SHARES like a LION!
5. Bharani (Aries) – All those romantic couples – especially those romantic songs, and love triangles, and love relationships and “She loves me – she loves me NOT” – all kind of these ROMANTICISM is found in native with Mercury in Bharani. They are a song, they are a dance, they are direct – if he loves you – he will just say it in a running bus – you are sitting next to him and he will propose – straight from the HEART – “I LOVE YOU” – and it will be so natural, so simple, so straight that for a minute you will not figure out – until you say “What did you say?” and the man of heart will smile and say it again “I LOVE YOU”! So they are conservative but at strange moments – unexpected moments they suddenly do something that is exactly opposite to their nature. Such a man may hesitate to kiss his girlfriend in the public – but if he has to save a woman from drowning in the river – then he may go all the way to save her – he will pull her out of the river, and suck the water out from her chest. When it comes to safeguarding DHARMA – he will not hesitate to do anything under the sky. Such a native loves to talk about mythology, scriptures, religion. They also like to debate on matters of religion. They are the protector of DHARMA.
7. Pushya (Cancer) – Emotional people. They always think – but their thinking is highly influenced by their emotions. And so superstitions, beliefs, traditions – all of these play a vital role in their life – because most of their decisions are based on it. Innocence comes natural to these fellows. A woman having Mercury in Cancer is indeed a sweet person – in fact her lover falls for her innocence but in practical life – the same innocence becomes a challenge for the husband – he always have to safeguard his wife – because his wife is so innocent and the world isn’t! Moodiness and constant changing temperament is a trademark of this placement. To sing a song, to dance, to make love – to enjoy the cool breeze, the watch the playful birds – the native just loves to do all of these – to him or to her – life is more like love and less like logic!
8. Anuradha (Scorpio) – What is in it for me? No matter how much you explain these people – the primary question is always – what is in it for me? what am I going to get? Whenever Mercury forms conjunction with Saturn, Venus, Rahu – in the above mentioned Nakshatras – then the marriage works – meaning the conjunction brings certain positive results that help the native to boost his or her status in the society.

What is Mercury? Processer. But who operates this processer? Who is the real mover and shaker?

MOON. Moon (MIND) commands and the BRAIN (Mercury /processer) follows the command. You will not indulge in actual sex – until your MIND is willing to! It is only when your MIND says YES – that your BRAIN (Mercury) gets into action mode and then the BRAIN commands the sexual organ and the organ moves ahead – the grass starts growing – that is how the act of sex happens – at the command of the MIND. The MIND (MOON) commands – the BRAIN (MERCURY) executes. And to execute a certain action – you need ENERGY – this ENERGY comes from MARS – and when it comes to sex – a lot of energy and stamina is required – which comes through MARS and therefore MARS plays a vital role in the act of sex!

When MIND, BRAIN, ENERGY is in harmony – then the act of sex happens without any problems – then both the partners enjoy sex and attain sexual satisfaction.

Sexual satisfaction is one of the most significant part of human life without which you cannot really progress in spiritual life. If you turn to spiritual life because you failed in your sexual relationships – because you remained sexually dissatisfied then your spiritual life will also prove a failure.

It is all interconnected – unless you realize that SEX has its own limitations – unless you realize that there is much more beyond SEX – there is no coming to truth – there is no chance of you succeeding in your spiritual life. NEVER SUPRESS SEX – instead TRANSFORM your sexual urge into spiritual urge!

Sex is raw energy. It has to be transformed, and through transformation there is transcendence. Rather than transforming it, religions have been repressing it. And if you repress it the natural outcome is a perverted human being. He becomes obsessed with sex. – Osho

Perversion happens when you are denied what you desire! Sex perverts are those fellows who have never experienced sex or have been denied sexual pleasures.

If you observe closely then those who have had enough of sex – they are NEVER found to be sexual perverts. They had enough – so perversion has no space in their life – it is non-existential.

When Mercury is good – the brain is good – the procession power is good – the logical analysis is good – BUT there is a catch!

What if the MOON is bad? Because finally the MASTER of MERCURY is MOON – your MIND!

And so my fellows – this is a deep subject. The whole essence of the matter is that when MOON is BAD and MERCURY is GOOD – the MOON will use this FAST PROCESSOR for WRONG MALACIOUS GOALS!

That is how you see – HACKERS, FRAUDS, CHEATERS – they may have excellent sharp mercury (brain) but their Mind (moon) is corrupt and so a good mercury is wasted – just wasted!

And then there is this case – where the MOON is RIGHT but the MERCURY is WRONG! Then you have these kind of people who always THINK OPPOSITE! For example – if I prepare a nice sweet dish and offer with love – then these people will think “hmm….there must be some agenda behind this act”!

You see – no matter how much straight you are with these men and women – they will always think the crooked way!

And this word CROOKED now reminds me of MERCURY RETROGRADE period! Because RETROGRADE MERCURY is also a CROOKED MERCURY!

And so now when Mercury goes RETROGRADE from May 30th to June 23, 2021 – stay cautious of crooked men and crooked women around you. For they can cause much trouble – if you remain unaware.

Mercury retrograde is a period when everything will SLOW DOWN. However it is a wonderful period to REVISIT, RECONNECT, and RECHARGE yourself. You can revisit old proposals (job/marriage). You can reconnect with old buddies with whom you had lost the connection. You can use this retrograde period to PAUSE, INTROSPECT and RECHARGE yourself!

Mercury retrograde period is a time when you avoid indulging in any new venture – instead clean up and rearrange the old setup – renovate your office, house.

It is also a period when you can go through surgeries because surgery is also a process of ‘’correcting’’ your physical body – and retrograde mercury period is all about doing corrections and reinventing yourself so that when mercury goes direct – you are all set to go for your GOAL!

Remember – this human body has MIND (MOON), BRAIN (MERCURY) and also a HEART – the REAL KING! This HEART is ruled by the SUN – that is why you have the LEO sign – my fellows. LEO is the HEART!

And so the whole spiritual journey begins and progresses as you slowly start dropping your MIND – because when MIND is dropped – the BRAIN no more has its master (moon/mind)- then the BRAIN starts turning towards the HEART and when the HEART becomes the MASTER of your BRAIN then you find someone as beautiful as MEERA BAI – as beautiful as the BUDDHA – as beautiful as the MAHAVIRA – as beautiful as JESUS! The enlightened beings operate in this human world – but without the MIND!

A buddha is in a state of no-mind.

The whole problem is your mind. Once you enslave your mind – then the same mind can do wonders in your life. But to enslave the mind – one may take many births – or with the GRACE of the GURU – even one birth is ENOUGH! It all depends – it is based on person to person – but what you all should remember is that – reaching the destination is NOT as important as embarking on the JOURNEY itself!

We all have to make a collective effort to bring the lost ones on the PATH again – the BUDDHA PATH. I am making a small effort from my end – you make a small effort from your end – and this how the JOURNEY will continue – this is how this beautiful life will flower – only if you are willing to.

The beauty is in walking on the PATH – as you walk…. the way appears!
