Venus in Aries gets quickly in physical relationship. What a beautiful devotional song – it simply means – that the name of Sita and Ram is so sweet – so sweet – Madhur means sweet – Naam means name and Sita Rama is the holy couple – Goddess Sita and Lord Rama. It is said that just by reciting the name of Lord Rama – many miseries and the feeling of being STUCK is faded away and you start feeling better – and more better. Retrogression often makes one feel stuck – as if no progress is happening – especially when your horoscope is too malefic. In the case of a person whose Retrograde planet is well-placed – such a person also at some stage of life goes through a sluggish phase of life. So sluggishness comes naturally in the matters of the retrograde planet. We will now see – the kind of sluggishness or delays one may have to face when Venus is retrograde.

Retrograde Venus – Matters of love suffer. Challenges in relationships. Retrograde Venus often brings many complications in relationships. Adolf Hitler, Mariah Carey, Jodie Foster, Robert DeNiro, Kate Moss are some of the celebrities having Retrograde Venus – they all have done exceptionally well in their professional life however they have suffered much in their personal relationships.

When Venus is Retrograde – sexuality is high – the sexual urge is high because Venus has slowed down – and when you slow down you tend to think a lot about the matters that come under your domain – similarly when Venus slows down – the matters of sexuality, love and art become more important for the native – and so the native goes through multiple relationships – sexual experiences in life.

Retrograde Venus in a poor horoscope can also lead to sexual exploitation or child molestation experiences. The woman may have experienced certain horrifying incidents during her childhood days when she was sexually molested by certain men in her family or outside family.

Jesus was sitting on the bank of a river.

He must have fallen deep in thought: “If I tell them to stone her to death, it will be violence.” Then what will happen to Jesus’ principle of love? “And if I say no, pardon her, people will be angry. In reality that is what people wanted. The people had come just to stone Jesus with these stones if he said to pardon her, because he is speaking in opposition to our religious scriptures. And if he says to stone her, we will kill this woman and then say to Jesus: “What happened to your love? To your compassion? Where has your compassion gone? Where has your love gone? It was all phony talk.”
But they did not know what Jesus will answer. Jesus said the ancient scriptures are right. They must be right. Take up stones and kill this woman — but let only those throw stones who have never committed adultery nor who have ever even thought of committing adultery.
And the five who had stood before the villagers, probably all mayors and members of the municipal committee, quickly retreated into the crowd. Who wants trouble? The whole village knew. Everyone’s mischief was known. And if they hadn’t committed adultery they certainly had thought of it. To find a man who has not thought of adultery is difficult, one who has not been infatuated, who has not been attracted. All quietly moved back. Slowly slowly the people who had come with stones in their hands let the stones fall where they stood. And slowly slowly people began to disappear.
Evening was falling, the sun was setting. Just as the sun set and it started getting dark, people escaped from there. The woman was left behind, alone. The woman put her head at Jesus’ feet and said, “Give me whatsoever punishment you want. I am an adulteress. I accept it. I am a sinner. And your compassion has overwhelmed my heart. Whatsoever punishment you want to give…”
Jesus said, “Who am I to mete out punishments? Who am I to stand between you and your god? You know, you know what you need to do, and your god knows. I am not going to make any judgement. If you feel you have done something bad, then don’t do it any more. And if it feels alright to you then continue. The one to decide is god. The final decision will be between you and god. There is no intermediary. Go now.”
Consider what he is saying. A famous statement of Jesus is: “Resist not evil.” Not even evil! Why? If god is allowing it to happen, there must be some reason. Wake up within, live within. But the true thread of life emerges in you.

Venus in itself is a materialistic planets and on top of that when Venus gets retrograde then life becomes complicated due to several failures in relationships. It is indeed a very challenging placement – however it is not that in every birth – you will have to live with a Retrograde Venus.

Mohan asked “What is the way out? How can one ensure that in next birth – Venus is not retrograde?”

Mohan’s question is straight. And the answer is also straight – by empowering your JUPITER – you can overcome the RETROGRADE VENUS.

Jupiter is VIVEK – conscience. The word ‘conscience’ means – a person’s moral sense of right and wrong, viewed as acting as a guide to one’s behavior. When you work on empowering your Jupiter by bringing more awareness to your beings then some day – in some birth you will get rid of this RETROGRADE state of Venus and then – the day will come – when you will again start dancing, singing and enjoying the many gifts of this human world – but this time there is going to be no failures in relationships but much happiness from relationships.

There was time when in some birth you had a very normal Venus – then how come this Venus is seen retrograde in your current birth chart? Rumi says – ‘Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.’

Focus on changing yourself – let the transformation within begins. Remember – you have to walk the path – the master will show you the way – however it is YOU – who have to walk on the path.

Buddha said “ I asked him purposely. Because you have been asking all kind of stupid questions for last many hours so I thought why not give you the real thing.”

A real Master is a LION 🦁 and not a Cat! Who would dare to speak with an Emperor in such a way but the Master is Real and Real never Fears!

The Emperor touched the feet of then master and said “ Please explain…”

Buddha said “ The real Age is when you start turning inwards. When you start meditating. When your spiritual journey begins. When the old man said ‘ I am 4 years old’ — he meant that his spiritual journey has began just 4 years ago. NOW you tell me what is your Age?”

And the Emperor started crying. He had no answer because he had not yet started on his spiritual quest — his spiritual journey — he never had looked within!

And this is the whole essence of life my fellows. Instead of what the Puranas and Upanishads are saying — the master is more interested to know WHAT YOU ARE SAYING BASED ON YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE. YOUR OWN INSIGHTS. YOUR OWN SELF REALIZATION.

But this is a strange world — people will believe the Upanishads whose authenticity is a matter of question considering so many destructions caused by foreign invasions.

But if a spiritual master mentions something then shallow people will doubt — a living human being who has attained enlightenment is saying something and people will not believe. They will continue to believe in scriptures. This is not new — it has happened with every Messiah — be it Jesus, Buddha, Mahavira or Sai Baba!

You will fear Venus only if you are afraid of taking risks — of using this wonderful period of Venus Mahadasha in experiencing self transformation.

Just for my close followers — I want to reveal the fact that people will talk a lot about Spirituality — but if you ask them to JUMP first and think later — then out of 100 only 1 will step ahead and JUMP into the unknown — and it is only those who JUMP can experience the Beyond — the Godly — the Divine.

There was a lion cub. And he got lost in the woods. A flock of sheep raised him. And he started moving around with the flock of sheep. One day a very old Lion was passing by and he saw that a young Lion was moving around with a flock of 🐑 sheep!!!

The old Lion roared and the sheep started running all over — the young Lion also started running, escaping!

You see — living with sheep the young Lion also started believing that he too is a sheep! This is how life is — when you are in company of sheep you forget your real identity — that you also are a 🦁 LION!

And so the old Lion caught the young Lion and took him to the cave. The young Lion continued to cry like a sheep! Then the old Lion took him to the river. In the that river water — the young Lion for the First Time — saw his Real Self — he also saw the reflection of the Old Lion in the river water and he realized that he *is* a LION. Venus is not sex. Venus is pure love – but for reproduction – sex is required – and for sex – you need a certain energy – this energy is Mars! Now look at this – the same energy if is diverted from sex to consciousness – then you see someone like Saul transforming into Saint Paul!

“There is a way to go beyond sex, you can transcend sex – that’s the meaning of – sex to superconsciousness.” – Osho

Venus in 12th can also lead to a man or a woman who has perfected the art of lovemaking (KamaSutra)!

“Sex has to be something not obscene, not condemned, not repressed but immensely respected, because we are born out of sex – it is our very life source.And to condemn the life source is to condemn everything. But people in India or on a larger context – in Asia – just tremble with the word of ‘sex’! It is as if by just talking about sex – you are doing some kind of sin!

But aren’t we all are born through the act of sexual union? But people are afraid – they won’t speak – at least not in India – who would dare? But one cannot ignore the facts – one has to say things ‘as’ they are! Your condemnation won’t change the facts! You counting the sins of others won’t make you a saint!

So you should understand how Venus in 12th house can lead one to many sexual experiences – good or bad – that is decided by other aspects that influence this position of Venus. There is no doubt that Maharshi Vatsyayana – the man who wrote Kamasutra with many erotic drawings – had mentioned 84 postures for lovemaking! A man with Venus in 12th house is very much interested in the art of love making – it is a truth that nobody is going to tell you – nobody is going to mention in plain text! But I am doing it – so that one understands the depth of a 12th house Venus.

When Venus is placed in 12th – you generally have a girl/woman who has *those* looks that can attract any boy or man. The same is for a man. This 12th Venus gives good looks, good appearance. And then follows the pleasures of bed. Basically this position provides good sexual pleasures to a man or a woman – provided the Venus is not afflicted. If it is afflicted then it will still provide sexual pleasures but via shady ways! So you see – this Venus is not bad – as long as it is not afflicted by Mars. Whenever Mars is found with Venus in the same house – it makes the woman or the man ‘sexy’! The word ‘hot’ and ‘sexy’ is typically reserved for human beings made from the combination of Mar+Venus!

Along with immense sexual pleasures (if other aspects are supportive) this Mar+Venus also leads to some romantic tragedies! Because here the person is not just satisfied with pure love – he or she – wants sex too! And so often in the greed to have more and more – these men or women become cheat – and get into extramarital affairs. People with Venus in 12th along with Mars in 12th are also extremely flirtatious by nature – so Venus in 12th – irrespective of what sign it is placed – remains good for the native as long as it is not joined by Mars! Mars is sex – and Venus is love. Understand this – it is of great significance.

What is marriage? So – before you condemn the word ‘sex’ – understand it from all angles – it is not a sin, it is not a crime, it is not something that should be condemned – it is something that should be respected! As long as you are following the law, following the right path – ‘sex’ is simply to be celebrated with utmost love and respect!

Now – a person with Venus in 12th can also transform into a celibate! In to a great saint! Surprised – don’t be – first read this:

One’s attainment to celibacy from birth in this life is based on the experiences of deep coital union in previous lives and on nothing else. There is no other way. If one has had a profound experience of sex in a previous life, the person will be born free of sex in this life; sex will not disturb the person, even in his imagination. A person who has ‘been there, done that’ – can drop the desire of ‘sex’ and become a true celibate! You see – that is how a 12th house Venus has the divine power to transform a passionate lover into the greatest lover of God – that the world had ever known!

A man who has diabetes – and says “ I have stopped eating sugar” – makes no sense – A man who is not getting any marriage proposals – and says “I have decided to never get married” – makes no sense. But a man who perfectly healthy and yet he says – I have stopped eating sugar. A man who is getting hundred of proposals from the most beautiful girls and yet he is saying I don’t want to get married or have any relationship – is on his way on true celibacy! So only that man or woman can truly surpass the realms of sex – who has been there – done that! And so we also see many great saints and yogi with 12th house Venus!

So you see – astrology is such a deep ocean – but people don’t get it – they don’t want to dive deep – they are happy to live a shallow life – with some tit-bits of shallow knowledge – knowledge that they can digest – knowledge that they can face – they say they want to hear the truth – but they never truly want to follow the truth!

The truth is something that almost nobody wants to hear but everyone wants to know.

A man or a woman with Venus in 12th should definitely practice YOGA – they will progress much faster. Overall – it is a pleasant personality – bubbling – happy – romantic experiences of foreign places – skills of dancing – a poet by heart – so a beautiful person – a lovely person – but conservative societies spoil such a beautiful person – such a person only blossoms in a free environment – love blossoms only when there is absolute freedom – and so such a person should always look towards living in a society that is liberal – open – and tolerant!

Love is a by-product of freedom; it is the overflowing joy of freedom, it is the fragrance of freedom. First the freedom has to be there, then love follows. – Osho

The ultimate state of love is freedom, absolute freedom. And any relationship that destroys freedom is not worthwhile – a Venus 12 man or woman need freedom to blossom, to grow, to achieve their dreams! Any act of possessiveness would simply finish all the possibilities of love.

This idea of ‘exalted’ planets creates an illusion among many. Do you know – that the most popular personalities – across all walks of life – don’t have much or any exalted planets? Do you know that the wealthy people have no exalted planets in their charts? Do you know that there are millions of people living in slum areas – and yet the *have* exalted planets in their charts?

And this is the greatest tragedy of Astrology in today’s time! It has become a ‘toy’ – and ‘toy’ cannot help you find your answers – you have to come to the real master – the real thing – but who wants to listen to truth?

I have personally read charts of people in slum areas – they do have exalted planets – I have personally read charts of celebrities – they don’t have exalted planets – neither the wealthy people – neither the politicians! So you see – just having ‘exalted’ planets don’t change your situation.

Exalted planets simply specify the ‘exalted qualities’ of a person. A man maybe living in the slum area – but if he has exalted planets – he is a man of ‘value’ – you see – the word is ‘value’ – the exalt position makes you a good person – such a person ‘exalts’ in certain skill – certain art!

So when you say that you have exalted planet in 3rd – you definitely have a certain skill – that you would excel as you grow – step by step – you will achieve excellence in a specific skill!

And ninth house exalt point – provides you with the necessary quality of achieving higher education – such a man or woman is deeply devoted to a certain deity – is generally very faithful – also signifies a good caring father or parent.

Overall to have an exalted planet is not enough – placements – aspects and the D9 chart matters a lot – if the exalted planet debilitiates in D9 – then much of the quality is lost!

Much has to be done, much has to be experienced, much has to be earned. The word ‘Much more’ is what RAHU is all about!

And so when Venus is seen with the ‘Much more’ – what do you get?

If other aspects are promising – then all that – VENUS – the Virgin Goddess – offers – is pushed to the extremes! You see the word is ‘PUSH’ – and it is of great significance when it comes to RAHU! And so what happens?

Lets see the positive side – at first hand, considering Venus is positively placed for the ascendant followed with multiple beneficial supportive aspects – then you see – all of the positive VENUSIAN qualities ‘pushed’ – the woman is extremely beautiful – the woman is extremely sexy – the woman is extremely attractive – and yes – the woman also has extreme knowledge of the many Romantic Acts ‘Leelas (love-making)’ – the woman also has extreme knowledge of art – such as dancing, singing etc. She has a very magnetic personality – anyone who comes to her – simply is taken aback by this ‘fairy goddess’ – someone who is no less than an ‘Apasara’! And the same is applicable to a man – many women are behind such a man – they just can’t resist – HE appears to be so appealing to them – such a man has many girlfriends – opposite sex is always attracted to such men.

In Cancer sign – a sexy beautiful woman (Venus) feels like she is forcefully admitted in a kindergarten school! What is she going to do there – when she has to be on the floors – dancing with some handsome man! But then – here this woman becomes ‘motherly’ – her love is more of like a mother – who takes care, who cares – who is very emotional – here – Venus is not like a sensual woman who wants good sex – who wants more and more satisfaction in sensual matters – here the Venus is okay – here the Venus understands that her role is less of a sexual partner and more of a motherly love! And so when you have the ‘Much more’ (RAHU) with this motherly Venus – then guess what – you end up with ‘Overly-obsessed caring nature’ – generally the wife of such a person is tooooo caring – so much so that the husband is fed up! So if other aspects are NOT supportive – we also see divorce cases in VENUS_RAHU combo.

Venus is not happy to be with RAHU – VENUS RAHU compells the woman or man to have more and more and more sex. Rahu is all but DEMAND! And if the opposite partner – Husband or Wife – is unable to satisfy their sexual demands – then you are in for an extra-marital affair! And so then a new story begins – so you see – VENUS RAHU – is special conjunction – a man or a woman with this combo – should ensure that they are getting married to a person who also has strong Sexual power – and consistency – else often the marriage flops.

Now – coming to your question – the answer is simple – the affect of VENU RAHU in CANCER – is totally based on the placement of the MOON – and the aspects and the stars in which these three reside.

Many top-graded hollywood and bollywood actresses and actors have VENUS-RAHU combo – so it is not something that it *is* bad – you have to respect the ‘nature’ – and nature is not perfect – nature is beautiful – because it is imperfect!

This is applicable to a VENUS in Aquarius sign – and this become perfectly applicable when Venus is in RAHU’s nakshatra in Aquarius sign! Rahu is against the society norms – and so you see such a person’s romantic relationships way ahead of his or her time!

The fashion and beauty style of venus in Rahu is simply superb and often men and women who are in fashion industry – modelling – designing etc – score high in their fields – it often brings stardom – provided other aspects support.

This Venus – this love – comes by being impressed by the intellectualism factor. The love of Shabari is beyond the power of words – how to express it? Language is really poor! This woman spends 20 years – just to have a glimpse of Lord Rama – just to see HIS divine feet – just to see HIS blissful smile! And when Lord Rama comes – he goes directly to the Ashram – where Shabari is staying! Shabari is so much delighted, so much happy – she runs and she bows and with her flowing tears she cleans the feet of Lord Rama! And her love – her devotion is so much – that she tastes every fruit before offering it to Lord Rama! But Laxman confronts – he says to Rama “ How can you eat these fruits that she has already tasted – they are no more pure -” Laxman must be a communist – he must be a man of logic – but Rama was all for Love! Rama says “ Out of love – she is offering these fruits to me – she is tasting it – just to make sure that I get to eat – only the sweet fruits and not the sour ones – that is her love and whosoever offers me with Love – I accept it wholeheartedly!”

This is true love – it is the highest peak of love – where one simply enjoys giving!

The love of Venus in Pieces is all about giving, sharing, sacrificing! From the beginning we are told to sacrifice everything – just to exist – just to get all our desires fulfilled – but the Venus in Pieces is more about – the other than about ‘me’! The Venus of Pieces is the height of devotion! When love moves from the base level (Taurus) to the level of intelligence (Libra) and then finally reaches the height of all – devotion (devotion is love over-flowing) then it arrives in Pieces – and that is how the ancient seers have pointed the exalting of point Venus in the sign of Pieces – because here – it is totally purified – so much so – that such a man or woman can simply sacrifice their desires – just so that his or her lover can get what he wish to! The love of Pieces Venus is indeed deep and truly mesmerizing!
