Baby Naming with Astrology & Numerology

Numerology is the baby of Astrology. Always remember — Astrology is the Father of all mystic sciences such as — Numerology, Tarot card, Palmistry.

So the answer is simple. In fact Truth is simple. And the truth is that a man of Awareness should always select a newborn baby’s name based on Nakshatra (Moon sign) on which the baby is born.

Now for the larger interest of my followers and readers — I am sharing few more details and dynamics of name selection:

  1. The first option should alway be based on referring to the moon sign Nakshatra and if possible it’s Pada. Every Nakshatra Pada has a certain syllable/letter based on which the baby’s name should be selected.

Note: Nowadays people have become more shallow and so they simply refer to the letter based on moon sign which ideally is NOT correct. The focus should be on referring to the Nakshatra Pada syllable or letter.

For example: A baby girl is born on Aquarius Moon sign with Shatabhisha 4th Pada as Birth Nakshatra. So then what is the syllable for Shatabhisha 4th Pada?

It is “ Soo”. So the ideal name for this new born baby girl should start from the letter “ Soo”.

Incidentally “ S” is my favourite letter and Aquarius is one of my favourite sign.😊

2. The second option is NOT to name the newborn baby based on Moon Nakshatra Pada but instead to find a suitable name that VIBRATES with the most positive planet in the baby’s birth chart. So here — comes the art of Numerology. For my close followers who love me — just for them I want to mention that out of all Numerology systems — the most effective Numerology system is the Chaldean system of Numerology and there is absolutely no doubt about this. Chaldean is the best Numerology system available in recent times.

Now for example — in this new born baby girl’s chart — her Sun is very positive. Then we should give her a name that generates a Number that resonates with the energy of 🌞 Sun. So the number that resonates with Sun is numer ONE. So her full name should give a total that gives a single number ONE. So let’s say her full name ( her name and her last name) gives total 91. So 9 plus 1 = 10. And 1 plus 0 is 1. So this is how you should select a name based on Numerology by identifying the most suitable positive planet in her chart. So in this case — I have identified with a beautiful name: Samyukta ( meaning Goddess Durga). So the baby’s last name is Oberoi and so when we combine it with Samyukta — the total comes to 64 (which when combined comes to 10 and then eventually to single digit number — 1.)

So Samyukta Oberoi becomes a perfect name for a baby girl who has a powerful Sun 🌞 ( Self confidence, leadership qualities, dignity and optimistic attitude is signified by Lord Sun 🌞). I love Sun. In fact my name itself is Addittya which means the Sun Lord. Although I had to do some spelling changes which worked well for me and their is story to this but will share some other day!

So never rush and never fall for fancy names — a name should have some divinity in it or some beautiful meaning and mainly it should be easy to pronounce — those who have complicated names eventually end up having a complicated life!

I have observed that S and V and A — works for me. Maybe that is why I have never used any other mobile brand then S-amsung, V-ivo and A-pple. Well that was on a lighter note.

But yes — numbers matter. But one should remember that the root of Numerology is in the field of Astrology. Astrology is the seed — once you know the nature of the seed — then you can easily understand the many ‘fruits’ ( Numerology, Palmistry, Tarot reading) that it gives birth to.

Enough for today. And love ❤️ to all my followers. Yes there are some who hate me but that is how life is — you understand the significance of 💕 love only when there is someone who hates you. It is often the case that YOU are Not bad but other person may not like you!

“ I am NOT bad. It’s just that you don’t like Me.” — Osho

“बुरा नही हूं, बस आपको अच्छा नहीं लगता” – OSHO

Hate exists because there is Love in this world. So Hate has no stand of its own. The more you hate the more you become miserable. Hate can take you nowhere — but love ❤️ can take you every where.

Choice is yours. Choose the path of Hate or path of Love ❤️ — you are always free to choose but remember — you are NOT free from the CONSEQUENCES of the choice that you make!

So choose wisely. For what you choose is what you become.

Love to all my followers ❤️. Stay blessed and remember to meditate every day.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Who Are the Perfect Masters?

Avatar Meher Baba identifies the 5 Perfect Masters of HIS times – here is a brief introduction of the 5 great spiritual masters. I humbly prostrate before all the five masters as I share the many insightful moments of their life…..

1. HAZRAT BABAJAN

A beautiful picture of Hazrat Babajan – the Emperor – the Messiah whose grace and love – is still experienced by many devotees who visit her Dargah (shrine). It is not only the men who have attained the peak of enlightenment but also several women — who have revolutionized the world with their divine message. One of them is Hazrat Babajan. She was born in Baluchistan. Her birth name was “GULRUKH” (which means “Face like a Rose”). She was born to a Royal Muslim Family of Baluchistan. Following the conventions of Afghan nobility, Babajan was reared under the strict purdah tradition, in which women were secluded from the outside world, and also subject to a custom of arranged marriages. She opposed an unwelcome marriage planned for her, and ran away from home on her wedding day at the age of eighteen. Disguised in her burqa, she journeyed to Peshawar, the frontier city at the foot of the Khyber Pass. It was in or near Peshawar that she eventually came into contact with a Hindu sadguru. Following instruction from the guru, “she went into seclusion in a nearby mountain outside Rawalpindi and underwent very severe [riyazat] (spiritual austerities) for nearly seventeen months.Thereafter she came down to [the] Punjab and stayed a few months in Multan. It was in Multan, while [Babajan] was 37 years of age, she contacted a Muslim saint … who put end to her spiritual struggle by giving her God-realization.”

After that experience she returned to Rawalpindi to reconnect with the Hindu guru who, after several years, helped her return to normal consciousness. After a second stay in Rawalpindi with her earlier Hindu master, Babajan embarked on several long journeys through the Middle Eastern countries Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq. “It is said that she traveled to Mecca disguised as a man [apparently to avoid detection] by way of Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey and doubling back into Arabia.” At the Kaaba, she offered salat (prayers) five times a day, always sitting at one selected spot. While in Mecca, Babajan often gathered food for the poor and personally nursed pilgrims who had fallen ill. From Mecca, Babajan made pilgrimage to the tomb of the Islamic prophet Muhammad in Medina, where she adopted the same routine of offering prayers and caring for fellow pilgrims. Leaving Arabia, she passed through Baghdad, Iraq and back to the Punjab. She then traveled south to Nasik and established herself in Panchavati. From Nasik, Babajan travelled to Bombay, where she stayed for some time and her fame grew. In April 1903, she made a second pilgrimage to Mecca, this time sailing from Bombay on the SS Haidari. About 1904, Babajan returned to Bombay and soon afterward proceeded to Ajmer in northern India to pay homage at the tomb of the Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti who established the Chishti Order of Islam in India. From Ajmer she again returned to Bombay and then soon after traveled east to Pune. By 1905 Babajan arrived in Pune, where she established her final residence. Now an old woman, her back slightly bent, shoulders rounded, with white matted hair, and shabbily dressed, she “was seen sitting or resting at odd places, in different parts of the City.” Babajan finally located to a slum area called Char Bawdi (Four Wells) on Malcolm Tank Road, part of a British Army cantonment. The Char Bawdi area at that time has been described as “a picture of dirt, desolation and ugliness, a breeding spot of plague and pestilence and a regular haunt of dangerous riff-raffs by night.” After several months’ exposure to the natural elements, Babajan grudgingly allowed her devotees to build a basic shelter of gunny sacks above her. Children were in the habit of throwing stones at her. She was a homeless faqir; she knew how they lived. The gifts from her devotees were shared among the poor and destitute, and in some instances stolen from her by thieves.[19] She remained indifferent to the material offerings or the loss. Gradually, out of devotion, or mere curiosity, increasing numbers of people from Pune and elsewhere sought her out. Several alleged miracles have been attributed to Babajan. According to one observer, within a decade of Babajan taking residence “the Char Bawdi locality underwent a metamorphosis surpassing all expectations. What with the featural changes in the buildings all around, electrified tea-shops ringing with the clatter of cups and saucers, a concourse of peoples consisting of all ranks and creeds waiting for Babajan’s darshan, a street bard entertaining the crowd with his music, the beggars clamoring for alms, easy-going idlers standing indiscriminately hampering vehicular traffic and the whole atmosphere heavily laden with sweet burning incense perpetually kept burning near Babajan, presented a scene typically Eastern, leaving an indelible impression on one’s memory.” That is how the presence of a great master can transform an utterly deserted area into the most beautiful area of the town. And that is how a true master can transform a sinner into a saint – a mad man into an enlightened being. On 21st September 1931, one of the greatest saint – Her Holiness and the perfect Master Hazarat Babajan left her mortal body. She died. And when she died, Babajan said, “It is time … time for me to leave now. The work is over … I must close the shop.” One of the devotees pleaded, “Do not say such things Babajan, we need you with us.”

But she cryptically replied, “Nobody, nobody wants my wares. Nobody can afford the price. I have turned my goods over to the Proprietor.”

Today – Hazarat Babajan’s Dargah (shrine) is located at the same place where she spend most of her days – in Camp locality – the very heart of Pune city. However before leaving her body – she has transferred her great powers and blessings to one young man and His name was Merwan Sheriar Irani, a Parsi young boy who must have been 19 years old at that time when he met Babajan for the first time. It happened so that was riding his bicycle on the way to class at Deccan College, when he looked up and saw an old woman sitting under a neem tree surrounded by a crowd. He had past from the same road on previous occasions but had never paid much attention to her, though he was aware that she was regarded by some as a Muslim saint. Soon he started visiting her. they would sit together yet seldom spoke. One night during January 1914, he was about to leave, and before doing so kissed Babajan’s hands, and she in turn held his face in her hands. She then kissed him on the forehead, during which he received her spiritual grace (barakah). The event subsequently left Merwan Irani in a state of coma in which he remained abstracted from his normal surroundings for nearly nine months. This young man Merwan Sheriar Irani later became known as Avtar Meher Baba. For one year continuously the kiss remained on him and he was in a coma. It may happen suddenly like this. This was a great transfer, and Hazrat Babajan died afterward because she had just been waiting for this moment to give someone the whole energy. This was her last life, and there was not enough time even to explain what she was giving. And also, she was not the type to have explained. She was a silent mystic. She had not touched anybody for years. She was only waiting for this moment when she was to kiss someone and the whole energy was to be transferred in a single transfer. Before this, she had not even touched anyone, so this touch was to be total. When the divine touch – when the realization – when the enlightenment happens – all actions stop. Because desires no more exist. Many desires will drop and many actions also. Those actions which were just caused by desires will drop. If I was running for a particular desire, how can I run if the desire has dropped? My running will stop. At least the same running on the same route will stop. So when a person becomes desireless, at least for an interim period, for an interval – and how long it will be will depend on the individual – he will become inactive. The desires will have dropped – and all the actions that he had been doing were concerned with desires, so how can he continue? They will drop. One may also go into a coma. That is how Meher Baba – with that divine touch of Hazrat Babajan – went into a coma – because all desires vanished with that one divine kiss – and when there is absolutely NO DESIRE – there is NO ACTION – you almost go into a deep sleep to which the world may address as Coma! After one year of coma, Meher Baba opens his eyes – his eyes are the same but now his perspective towards life has changed – everything around him is the same – but he is no more the same – great spiritual energy – a great light has come to his heart – the transferring has happened – spontaneously – with just one divine kiss – the Hazarat has passed on her ‘self’ to Meher Baba – how deep must be the love between them – how deep must be the connection of many past lives between them! Hazarat Babajan left but before leaving she gave the greatest gift to humanity in the form of Avatar Meher Baba. Meher Baba – the man who revolutionized the whole world – traveled around the world – and transformed many mad men into enlightened beings.

2. Upasani Maharaj

A beautiful real picture of Sri Upasani Maharaj. It is said that it is Upasani Maharaj who greeted Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi by addressing him as Mahatma and from that day onwards – Mohandas Gandhi came to be known as Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi himself revealed this fact to Avtar Meher Baba when he had met Baba. In fact Mahatma Gandhi was so deeply touched by the divine presence of Avatar Meher Baba that at one point he expressed his wish to renounce from Politics.

Upasani Maharaj was born on 15 May 1870 in a small town called Sakori. And he was the only DIRECT DISCIPLE of SAI BABA of SHIRDI. Sakori is just 5 km away from Shirdi. The story of Upasani Maharaj’s life is very interesting and highly inspiring. He was born in into a family of Sanskrit scholars. He became an Ayurvedic Doctor. And he married three times but all his wive died. Soon he started to hear a singing voice that he could not explain. This troubling sound, along with various other problems, led him on a difficult quest that finally culminated in him meeting Sai Baba of Shirdi who is said to have given him God-realization at the age of 42. Sai Baba then claimed to be the one who was calling him inwardly.

The primary teachings of Upasani Maharaj were:

The principal teaching of Upasni Maharaj was that there are three rules that if observed sincerely lead to a life worth living:

  • Not to trouble anybody in the least.
  • To suffer for and be useful to others.
  • To remain contented in a state of Be as it may.

Upasni Maharaj was the principal teacher of Meher Baba. Meher Baba first met Upasni Maharaj in 1915 when Upasni was staying in Shirdi with Sai Baba. Upasni moved to Sakori in July 1917 and Meher Baba frequently stayed there as late as October 1922. According to Meher Baba, Upasni Maharaj gave him divine knowledge after he received God-realization in January 1914 at the age of 19 from Hazrat Babajan. Charles Purdom recounts that, at the end of December, 1921, Upasni made several comments relating to Meher Baba. He said to his disciples: “I have given my charge to Meherwanji. He is the holder of my key.” Some time later he said “This boy will move the world. Humanity at large will be benefited at his hands.” A few days later he sent for Gustadji Hansotia, one of his leading disciples, and told him “I have made Meherwanji perfect. He is the Sadguru of this Age. Now you have to leave me and stick to him.” To Behramji he said, “Your friend is God-realized; carry out every command and every desire of his.” Finally, one night he folded his hands and said, “Meherwanji, you are adi-shakti: you are Avatar.”

Imagine a direct disciple of SAI BABA saying to Avatar Meher Baba that – YOU ARE AVATAR.

Moves my heart. So deep so deep.

It is said that just two months before Upasani Maharaj died – Meher Baba met him – it was a meeting that happened after a gap of twenty years. A beautiful picture of Avtar Meher Baba walking with the Perfect Master and direct disciple of Sai Baba – Sri Upasani Maharaj.

3. Tajuddin Baba

Tajuddin Baba – is the third Perfect Master as mentioned by Avatar Meher Baba. Tajuddin Baba was born as Syed Mohammad Baba Tajuddin. He was born on January 27, 1861. Baba’s forefathers had migrated from Mecca and settled down in Madras, India. His father was an employee in military. His ancestors were descendants of the eleventh Imam. Baba Tajuddin became an orphan at a young age and so he was raised by his maternal grandmother and uncle Abdul Rahman. Soon he met Abdulla Shah Naushahi who initiated him into the spiritual path. It is said that one day Abdulla Shah Naushahi one day said to his school teacher that “There is no need of teaching this boy, he is already a learned person.” He also gave young Tajuddin Baba some dried fruits and nuts as his blessings for Baba, which is said to put the young boy into an ongoing spiritual trance-like state. Baba completed his education and studied Urdu, English, Arabic and Persian. Baba was highly educated person and at the same time he was one of the greatest master that the world had ever known.

However it is an irony that this Perfect Master was declared a lunatic and kept in confinement in the Nagpur Lunatic Asylum for more than sixteen years. However, Baba Tajuddin started his divine play from this place and virtually converted the asylum to a place of worship. This is one of the biggest illusions of Nature (Maya) the mad people of the mad world declaring the Knowledge- Incarnate, who had come to redeem them of their worldly madness, as mad. But how could the authorities, confine a soul that is in a state of pure consciousness within the four walls of a lunatic asylum. As was the practice, the inhabitants of the asylum used to be locked up in barracks and cells at night. Similarly, Baba was also put in confinement under strict vigil.

Soon after he was locked up in the asylum that a strange incident took place that spread Baba’s name far and wide. Baba was admitted in the lunatic asylum on the 26th August 1892. On the same day many people saw him moving freely in the streets of Kamthi, even after he was locked up. On the next day i.e. 27th an army sepoy, who, under the orders of the magistrate had brought Baba to the lunatic asylum the previous day, saw Baba roaming in the street. The shocked sepoy ran back and informed the British officer of the regiment, about it. The officer immediately rode his horse and searched for Baba. He ultimately found him sitting under a tree smiling at him. British officer was so enraged at seeing him moving freely that he straight away rode to the lunatic asylum at Nagpur situated at half an hour distance from Kamthi. He asked the doctor on duty “Where is that insane whom I sent here yesterday?” The doctor informed that he was in a locked room and also showed the officer where Baba was locked, and behold, the officer found the Baba Tajuddin was sitting inside the room in the same posture in which he had seen sitting under the tree only half on hour back smiling at him. On seeing the officer, Baba said. ” Brother, you are doing your work and I am doing my work”. The officer was so influenced by the divine personality of Baba that he instantly became his disciple and started visiting Baba on every Sunday with his family members. Thereafter, the asylum authorities were reconciled with Baba moving at various places inside the asylum compound and outside. Gradually, Baba’s name became so famous that thousands of people from near and far started lining up before the lunatic asylum everyday to have Baba’s darshan, blessing and help.

During his 16 years stay in the asylum, Baba cured thousands of people of diseases , granted children to the childless and took on his shoulders the responsibilities (both temporal and spiritual) of lakhs of his devotees. Baba’s fame and love for people had been drawing thousands of people daily to the lunatic asylum. Even the staffs of the asylum including the doctors were his devotees.

The doctor gave report that Baba was not mad but a person of unusual qualities which medical science cannot explain. In the meantime, Maharaja Bahadur Shrimant Raghoji Rao Bhonsle, the Maharaja of Nagpur had become an ardent devotee of Baba and started visiting him regularly. One day, in the evening, he thought of getting Baba released from the lunatic asylum and bring him to his palace at Shakardara. The same night, he saw a vision in the dream in which Baba appeared and pointing towards Red Palace said “Oh, elder brother, let me stay here.” It was early morning- (3.00 AM) of 9th July 1908, a Thursday. The Maharaja immediately called his officials and discussed about the steps to be taken to get Baba released. The Council decided that the Maharaja should immediately make an application for release to the Governor, Central Provinces. Ultimately after depositing a security money of rupees two thousands, the Maharaja secured the release of Baba on the 21st of September 1908 and brought him to his palace. From his palace Baba started his divine work.

Once Baba was lying down on the sands of the river Kanhan when two ladies by the name of Shantabai and Subhadrabai from Amaravati, approached him. While touching the feet of Baba they mentally prayed to him for children, as they were childless. The omniscient (Pragyan Ritambhara) Baba heard their inner prayers and gave a ladoo (a type of sweetmeat) to each after testing them. He blessed them to have sons. While they were returning, Shantabai ate the ladoo as a blessed prasad, but Subhadrabai did not because Baba had tasted the ladoo and was Muslim by birth. She quietly got the ladoo buried in the sand. As the Divine Will could have it, Shantabai got a son nine months later. When the child was about two-month-old, she came to Baba with the child for his blessings. Subhadra, who had not conceived even by that time, accompanied her. When Shantabai put her child at the feet of Baba, Subhadra could not control herself. She fell at the feet of Baba and cried -“Baba where is my child?” Baba told her to search the child from beneath the sand (indicating that he knew where the ladoo was) Subhadra immediately realised her mistake and repented profusely before Baba. The Perfect masters are incarnation of kindness. Her repentance and plight moved Baba. He blessed her to have a son, which she got after a year. The perfect master is a wish- fulfilling tree Kalpvriksha who even shower unconditional grace (Ahetuk Kripa). Tajjudin Baba lifted his hand as blessing to all, looking at them lovingly and quietly laid his body on the bed.

4. Sai Baba

The Fourth PERFECT MASTER as stated by AVATAR MEHER BABA is SAI BABA of SHIRDI.One of the most beautiful persons of this past century was Sai Baba of Shirdi. He had a friend and a follower. Sai Baba was a Mohammedan. Or no one knows whether he was a Mohammedan or a Hindu, but he lived in a mosque, so it was believed he was a Mohammedan. And a Hindu follower was there, who loved, respected, has much faith in Sai Baba. Every day he will come for his darshan, and without seeing him he will not go. Sometimes it will happen that for the whole day he will have to wait, but without seeing he will not go, and he will not take food unless he has seen Sai Baba.

Once it happened the whole day passed, there was much gathering and much crowd — he couldn’t enter. When everybody has gone, just in the night he touched the feet.

Sai Baba said to him, “Why you unnecessarily wait? There is no need to see me here, I can come there. And drop this from tomorrow. Now I will do. Before you take your food you will see me every day.”

The disciple was very happy. So next day he was waiting and waiting; nothing happened. Many things happened really, but nothing happened according to his conception. By the evening he was very angry. He has not taken the food, and Sai Baba has not appeared so he went again. He said, “You promise and you don’t fulfill?”

Sai Baba said, “But I appeared thrice, not even once. First time I came, I was a beggar and you said to me, ‘Move away! Don’t come here!’ Second time I came I was an old woman, and you just won’t look at me; you closed your eyes-because the disciple had the habit of not seeing women; he was practicing not seeing women, so he closed the eyes.

Sai Baba said, “I had come, but what do you expect? Should I enter your eyes, closed eyes? I was standing there, but you closed the eyes. The moment you saw me, you closed the eyes. Then third time I reached as a dog, and you won’t allow me in. With a stick you were standing in the door.”

And these three things had happened. And these things have been happening to whole humanity. The divine comes in many forms, but you have a prejudice; you have a pre-formulated conception; you cannot see. He must appear according to you, and he never appears according to you. And he will never appear according to you. You cannot be the rule for him and you cannot put any conditions.

When all imagination falls, only then truth appears. Otherwise, imagination goes on making conditions and truth cannot appear. Only in a naked mind, in a nude, empty mind, truth appears, because you cannot distort it.

My father was deeply devoted to Sai Baba. Incidently – he never had been to Shirdi but one night Sai Baba came in his dream and said “Come to Shirdi, and visit Lendi Baug.” This happened in the year 1989. Those times life was not as fast as it is now. My father wondered if there is any place called Lendi Baug in Shirdi as he had never been to Shirdi. And by the GRACE of Sai Baba – he soon was able to visit Shirdi and he was touched to find out that there is a place called Lendi Baug in Shirdi! My father served by working as Editor in Chief for the Sai Leela Magazine that was published by the Sai Baba Trustee. Before dying at the age of 47 – he had visited Shirdi. I still remember that day – it was 5th March 1995. I was with him – and then on 6th March 1995 when we returned back to Pune – he died of massive heart attack. In a way it was a message of Sai – that your time is over – it is time to come back home.

5. Narayan Maharaj

The fifth perfect master as stated by Avatar Meher Baba is Narayan Maharaj. Narayan was born in a Deshastha Brahmin family in Nargund in the Indian state of Karnataka. His father died when he was just 14 months old and his mother when he was four. He was then cared for by his grandmother. He soon left home due to family quarrels, eventually seeking solitude in a Shiva temple. Later, on the advice of a saint, he went to Gangapur for about 10 months, and achieved enlightenment.

As a sadguru he traveled to many religious places including Varanasi, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Nepal, Omkareshwar, Mahakaleshwar, Rameshwar, Madurai, Chidambaram, Kanchipuram, Tirupathi, Ramakrishna Ashram, Calcutta, Bangalore, Mysore, Dwarka, Somnath and Mahabaleshwar.

Narayan often dressed lavishly and lived in a palace; he even had a silver throne. However, it is said that he was unselfish and that his compound gave continually to the poor. His motto was “Treat every one as God.”

Meher Baba contacted Narayan Maharaj in 1915 in his youth and later said that Narayan was one of the Five Perfect Masters of his time.

Narayan’s samadhi (tomb shrine) is in Bangalore, India. From 1942 onward, he was seen having frequent health problems and he decided to move to Ottacmond Ooty of Tamil Nadu. Finally, he came to Bangalore where he desired to perform an Ati Rudra Swahakar to Lord Mallikarjuna. Lavish arrangements were made by the State of Mysore for this occasion, and it was attended by nearly 100,000 people. After the Maha Pooja, he gave a mantra to the devotees present, and retired to his chamber and sat in Padmasana and left his physical body, on 3 September 1945. When Maharaj dropped his body the State of Mysore provided an aircraft for his body to be taken to Bet, but later it was decided to provide nearly two acres of beautiful land near Kempambudi Lake at Bangalore where his mortal remains are kept at a Samadhi. Sri Bet Narayan Maharaj ashram and Brindavan are located in Gavi Gangadhareshwara circle.

Perfect Master is the English term Meher Baba began to use in his writing as early as 1925[1] to denote the Eastern idea of a sadguru (Vedanta) or a qutub (Sufism). A Perfect Master, according to Baba, is a God-realized person (one whose limited individualized consciousness has merged with God) who can use his Divine attributes of Infinite Power, Knowledge and Bliss for the spiritual upliftment of others.Meher Baba is unique among Indian teachers in that he said that the number of Perfect Masters on the Earth is exactly five at all times.[7] He said further that at the time of his own God-realization the five Perfect Masters were Sai Baba of Shirdi, Upasni Maharaj, Hazrat Babajan, Hazrat Tajuddin Baba and Narayan Maharaj and that these five brought him down to human consciousness as the Avatar on Earth in this cycle of time. “During the Avataric period, the five Perfect Masters make God incarnate as man.”[8] He also said, “What I am, what I was, and what I will be as the Ancient One is always due to the five Perfect Masters of the Age. Sai Baba, Upasni Maharaj, Babajan, Tajuddin Baba and Narayan Maharaj – these are the five Perfect Masters of this age for me.” Once it happened – when Meher Baba was on his visit to the US – just near his room – there was a woman standing and she was not willing to step ahead. ne of Baba’s disciples traveling with him, told her, “Come and shake hands with Baba, child.” Another disciple of Meher Baba said, “Why are you afraid, dear? Come nearer and meet Baba.”

The woman hesitated and said “How can I touch him?”

“Why not?” she replied. “All can meet Baba!”

This brought tears to her eyes, and she pitiably asked, “But I am a sinner! How can I touch a holy being like him?”

Baba then went to her, and passed his hand over her head and shoulders. She started weeping, and Baba gestured to her, “I am the purest of the pure. I can purify the worst sinner. You have understood your mistakes and acknowledged them faithfully in the presence of others, and so you are forgiven. This penance from the depths of your heart is adequate, and you are now cleansed. Now, don’t fear in the least and don’t repeat your past mistakes. I give you my blessings!” The girl burst into tears, and Baba lovingly embraced her. The tears which Baba had drawn from her heart wiped out all her sins.

Those who witnessed this were deeply moved; their hearts overflowed and their eyes also teared. Before departing, Baba again embraced all the guests and putting his hand on the girl’s head, consoled her, “You have received forgiveness for everything! Forget the past and don’t worry at all.” The girl pressed her eyes to Baba’s hand and kissed it. As Baba left, all eyes followed him.

Avtar Meher Baba was indeed one of the greatest spiritual master whose greatness cannot be expressed in words. I would go a step further and say that all the 5 perfect masters that he experienced in his stage of enlightenment are indeed found in his omnipresence. There is no need to visit all the 5 perfect masters – just by worshipping him – just by remembering His Holy Name one can receive the blessings of all 5 perfect masters.

The last word of Avatar Meher Baba was – Dont’ Worry. Be Happy.

I humbly prostrate before the most beautiful man who once walked on this planet – Avatar Meher Baba. May HIS blessings shower on Me and all my followers and listeners.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Dog or Cat: Astrology Says

Black dog or white/brown cat — any of the two is best to keep at home according to Astrology.

If you are seeking wealth or struggling with your finances or you are having financial problems then keeping a beautiful white cat and loving her dearly, taking care of her will immensely help in resolving all your financial problems. But remember — the love, the caring has to be REAL — straight from your ❤️ heart.

If you are seeking protection, status, popularity and good health then you can keep a nice BLACK 🐶 dog. The more you love and nurture a dog the more you will continue to grow in your career / business. I would say DOG covers all the aspects of human life and not just the financial problems. However Cat is extremely helpful if your major problem is with earning money/finance. In case you don’t like Cat (female) then you can keep a female Dog in place of a Cat if your major problem is with your finance/money.

It is a deep subject. The subject of pets in Astrology but I appreciate your question.

In simple words if you ask me then I would say that the Cats represent the qualities of a Brahmin ( priestly). While a Dog represent the qualities of a Kshatriya ( Warrior). A Dog therefore is Martian (signify Mars in Astrology) while a Cat is Venusian ( signify Venus in Astrology).

Venus also is the planet of GODDESS LAKSHMI. In fact the Romans would worship Venus as Goddess Venus! Before Christianity — the whole Europe was worshipping idols of God and Goddesses. They had huge temples of God and Goddesses just the way as Hindu we have in our country.

In fact just for the larger interest of my followers and readers — I want to mention that Brahmins are represented by Venus and not Jupiter. Jupiter is a very high level planet that represents someone as beautiful as Buddha, Mahavira, Kabir or Guru Nanak. Basically Jupiter represents the enlightened masters or the one who are walking on the path of Enlightenment.

Reminds me of a story — it happened when Buddha was yet to become a full moon — meaning he yet was to attain Enlightenment. He was walking with his disciples and the forest was very dense. And suddenly a mosquito came near his ear and Buddha’s hand moved near his ears to drive away the mosquito. The mosquito went away but after a while Buddha again stopped and moved his hand near his ear…. the disciples were surprised…Ananda said “ Master there is no mosquito but still you moved your hand. Why? Please explain us, we are novice…”

Buddha smiled and said “ The last time I moved my hand — but it was mechanical. There was absolutely NO awareness in my action. It was mechanical, robotic. But now when I moved my hand — it was with absolute AWARENESS. The mosquito may not be there but I wanted to ensure that there is awareness to my action…”

It was a message. A very significant message to each one of us — that every Action should arise through a certain level of Awareness.

Keeping a pet is anyhow a good Karma BUT looking after them with Awareness is also very important to avoid hurting them.

Keeping a female cat is good for financial problems. Does bring good money to your family.

Keeping a female dog as an alternative to female cat is also a good remedy for resolving financial problems.

Keeping a Male Dog is excellent from all aspects of human life — finance, health and career.

So now choice is yours. As far as I am concerned, I LOVE dogs. I never have had the pleasure of keeping a dog since I am a Fakir — a moving nomad. But that reminds me of a great spiritual master — I had met Him in his Ashram and he used to share many stories of his life with me. We had become friends. And so one day he said — I had a black dog and I am a Fakir, a nomad but I always ensured that this dog gets the best food possible. My disciples would feed him. Although we all are vegetarian but out of love — they would feed him all kind of non-veg food outside the Ashram so that he remains happy. After all God comes to a happy soul and a dog is no exception.”

And then he laughed out loudly — a loud belly laugh. He was a man of many miracles. One day he said “ This dog was once a great warrior in his past life. He was very close to the King.”

That is so true. Dogs or Cats — they always are found to be a subject of reincarnation wherein their past life they were Humans!

And so my fellows — love Dog and love Cats, because at some point of time they were also human beings, maybe great human beings but “Karma” has not skipped anybody — some sins of the past have compelled then to arive in the form of dog or cat!

Love them. Bhagwan Ramana Maharshi loved all animals in his Ashram in Arunachal. In the beginning whatever food was left — was offered to dogs and cats. Then one day a disciple said to the Bhagavan “ We give leftover food to the dogs and cats, I feel they may not like this.”

Bhagwan smiled and said “ If you are able to feel this then why you give leftover food to them?”

From that day — the disciples started cooking specially for all the dogs and cats and other animals in the Ashram. No more the animals had to eat the left over food, they were now able to truly relish on the food specially made for them — with 💕 love.

The sutra of life is simple — love animals, feed animals with love and GOD will continue to feed you, because just the way you take care of your pet — similarly GOD takes care of HIS children and WE ALL ARE HIS CHILDREN.

“Who are we? We are children of God. Our potential is unlimited. Our inheritance is sacred.”
-Russell M. Nelson

If you are planning to adopt a cat or dog, then do it based on the Nakshatra.

Cat — Adopt on a day when the Nakshatra is of Bharani, Purvashadha or Purvaphalguni.

Dog — Adopt on a day when the Nakshatra is of Mrig, Dhanishta or Chitra.

Love to all my readers and I truly appreciate all my readers and followers who have a pet dog or pet cat because I know how much it takes to upbring these beautiful souls who are so lovable and innocent. Their innocence is what drives God toward them — that is why NEVER hurt any animal because GOD is watching very closely…..HE loves and bless those who love and protect animals.

Moon in 7th House Effects

Talk to me.……deal with me” is the subtle essence of moon in 7th house placement. The native is a go getter, and is more than willing to step ahead and lead the pack. He or she is the WOLF.

“THE LEADER OF THE PACK IS NEVER THE LOUDEST.”

Native with Moon in 7th house simply wants to DEAL with the opposition or opposite party and emerge as a deal maker – and he simply loves to become a HERO in the eyes of the general public. So with this placement you will find a labor union leader, opposition party leader who REPRESENTS HIS PEOPLE and works towards getting JUSTICE for his people and a very ambitious politician. In a way this placement does give birth to a dashing person whose primary aim is to SHINE in the eyes of the public and if other planetary aspects are positive then many a times this person succeeds in becoming a dynamic popular leader who just by lifting his or her hand – they can drive the masses towards a certain mission, a certain goal. Reminds me of our late Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi. In her birth chart – moon is placed in the 7th house and she indeed was one of the most popular Prime Minister of India. In fact her popularity was second to her father and first Prime Minister of India – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Seventh house moon native is very strong in dealing with his or her opponents. In fact the native takes great interest in defeating the opponent – in a way defeating the enemies or opponents satisfies his or her ego. Moon is Mind. Mind is Ego. And so here in the abode of 7th house – the EGO is much centered in achieving victory over the opponents.

Indira Gandhi not only was able to defeat her political rivals but also was able to defeat Pakistan during the 1971 India-Pakistani War. Although she indeed was a great politician – the very idea of becoming a HERO in the eyes of the public – led her to the greatest mistake of her life – the mistake of ordering the Indian army to enter the Golden Temple to remove the Sikh Militants from the complex. The Indian army used heavy artillery, including tanks, in the action code-named Operation Blue Star. The operation badly damaged or destroyed parts of the Temple complex, including the Akal Takht shrine and the Sikh library. It also led to the deaths of many Sikh fighters and innocent pilgrims. The number of casualties remains disputed with estimates ranging from many hundreds to many thousands. Harjinder Singh Dilgeer – the only man and author who has written Complete History of the Sikhs (in 10 volumes, 3716 pages) and has translated Guru Granth Sahib in English accused Indira Gandhi in the following words:

“Indira attacked the temple complex to present herself as a great hero in order to win the general elections planned towards the end of 1984.” – Harjinder Singh Dilgeer

This is exactly what I had mentioned in the very beginning that the native loves to project himself or herself as a HERO – and many a time in this mad pursuit ends up making some serious mistakes for which they have to pay heavily.

Indira Gandhi also had to pay heavily for her mistake – she was assassinated by her Sikh Bodyguards exactly after 5 months after the Golden Temple incident.

Here is a quick look at Indira Gandhi’s birth chart:

As you can see – her Moon is placed in the 7th house in a highly political sign – Capricorn, Uttarshadha Nakshatra. She was born with Ashlesha Nakshatra rising – a typical Mercurian Nakshatra which is also highly dangerous and political by nature.

This placement ideally signify a PUBLIC FIGURE. However it all depends on the overall quality of the horoscope – always remember – a placement or a conjunction may have the potential but whether it will fructify to the fullest is based on many other aspects of the horoscope in general.

The great US President Jimmy Carter also has this placement. His moon is in the 7th house. Jimmy Carter was also awarded the Nobel PEACE Prize in the year 2002.

“We will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other’s children.”
-Jimmy Carter

To establish peace – you need to be a good deal breaker – only then can you become a good peacemaker. 7th house moon has such a potential that it can give birth to great peacemakers – the Noble Peace Prize Winner former US President Jimmy Carter is just one example of this placement.

One peculiar trademark of this placement is that the spouse always is found to be caring nature. The spouse of the native is just like a mother or a father. And so if this moon is NOT aspected by Rahu or Ketu or Mars or Saturn – then it is a perfect placement that signify a beautiful caring marriage partner. Even today – the former US President Jimmy Carter enjoys the support and love of his wife Rosalynn Smith Carter. Today – at the age of 90 – this couple continue to build homes for the homeless. That’s so sweet of them, here is a beautiful picture of Jimmy Carter with his wife:

Jimmy Carter – 96 with his wife who is also now 94 years old – building homes for the homeless.

The thought that “I also owe back to the society which gave me so much in return’ is always on the back of their mind. Their fundamental philosophy is to give back to the society which gave them so much. They are good community leaders.

“We have an obligation to give something back to the community that gives so much to us.”
-Ray Kroc

Sharing, caring, reaching out to the community, serving the community and thereby becoming a leader who leads the pack. They are not interested in sitting back but rather standing up for a cause, fight for the cause and leading from the front. They indeed are the front leaders.

“I DON’T FOLLOW THE PACK I LEAD IT.”

Seventh house Moon often brings great interest in sex. These folks are driven by the opposite sex. A man with this placement will get easily attracted by a sexy woman and a woman with this placement will also get attracted towards handsome charming men. Rarely do we see – that a man or woman with this placement is denied marriage or marital happiness. Opportunities to enjoy sex – also comes several times in their life – in certain cases – extra-marital love affair is also not ruled out.

However if Moon is with Ketu in the 7th house then the native is unable to provide sexual satisfaction to his partner. Early ejaculation or premature ejaculation is a common symptom of this placement.

Moon Ketu placement in the 7th house does not make the man impotent – he may get hard when he sees a nude woman – but he FAILS when the real act of sex is in play BECAUSE he ejaculates too soon – leaving their sexual partner unsatisfied!

However when Moon is alone or with Rahu or Mars in the 7th house then such a man wants sex all the time – he has absolutely no problem in satisfying the sexual wants of his wife or girlfriend.

One peculiar result of Moon Ketu conjunction in the 7th house is that – during the actual sexual act- at the very last moment – when the bed partner is about to attain orgasm – the native ejaculates – thus leaving the bed partner in much dissatisfaction and short of attaining orgasm.

However when Moon is well-placed in the 7th house – abundance of sexual pleasure is promised. If the horoscope is really good – then the marriage partner is more than enough to satisfy the native’s sexual wants thus leading to a fruitful happy married life. Always remember – SEX is NOT MARRIAGE. However SEX is a part of MARRIAGE.

“SEXUAL TOUCH IS THE DESSERT OF MARRIED LIFE!”
-LAURA M BROTHERSON

Dessert is the sweet course eaten at the end of a meal such as a sweet pudding or cake similarly sex is a sweet course that strengthens the marriage life.

Moon in 7th house is always against the ruling party or against the prevailing laws of the land. Vladimir Lenin was also against the Russian monarchy – he was a Russian revolutionary, politician and the man who became the Ruler of Russia. Under his administration – became a one-party socialist state governed by the Soviet Communist Party. As a Marxist, he developed a variant of communist ideology known as Leninism. Vladimir Lenin had his moon in the 7th house. Just like Indira Gandhi – he too was born with Ashlesha Nakshatra rising! Ashlesha Nakshatra indeed is a dangerous Nakshatra – a serpent that can either suck poison out of the system – or insert poison in the system. Indira Gandhi also became a dictator when she declared EMERGENCY in India – and Vladimir Lenin anyhow was a dictator – a communist dictator who ruled over Russia. Many critics accused him of accused him of establishing a totalitarian dictatorship and ordering political repression and mass killings. Here is a quick look at Vladimir Lenin’s birth chart:

As you can see Moon is with Ketu in the 7th house. Ketu simply cuts all the boundaries that suffocate the society. Lenin revolutionized the Russian society by legalizing abortion and was made free for factory workers. He gave equal status to children born in or out of wedlock. Marriage became secular, divorce was simplified and streamlined, sex outside wedlock was destigmatized, and male homosexuality decriminalized. Soviet Russia under the communist leadership made many such laws that were quiet modern and unconventional by nature.

The 3rd US President – Thomas Jefferson was also born with Moon in the 7th house and does the 37th US President Richard Nixon.

Overall – this placement is very social by nature – the person cannot sit in a corner but will stand up and lead the pack especially if moon is well-aspected in the birth chart.

This placement signify a FIGHTER who loves to FIGHT but HATES to GIVE UP. So such a native usually NEVER GIVE UP and because HE NEVER GIVE UP – he is able to rise to the occasion and help his community, his countrymen. This placement thus gives birth to a true warrior.

“TRUE WARRIORS NEVER GIVE UP”

Only a true warrior can walk on the spiritual path – because the path of spirituality is far more challenging then the path of this material world. On the path of spirituality – everything has to be kept on stake – you need to be a GREAT GAMBLER – you need to be a GREAT RISK TAKER – a businessman cannot become a WARRIOR – because a businessman is always calculative by nature! And because a businessman cannot become a WARRIOR – he also cannot progress on spiritual path unless and until he drops his calculative head.

“Businessman” means a quality of the mind which is always bargaining, trying to give less and get more. That’s what I mean when I say businessman: trying to give less and get more, always bargaining, always thinking about profit.

A Warrior is again a quality of the mind, the quality of the gambler, not of the bargainer, the quality which can stake everything this way or that — a noncompromising mind.

“If a businessman thinks of enlightenment, he thinks of it as a commodity like many other commodities. He has a list: he has to make a big palace, he has to purchase this and that, and in the end he has to purchase enlightenment also; but enlightenment is always the last — when everything is done, then; when nothing remains to be done, then. And that enlightenment is also to be purchased because he understands only money.” – Osho

There was one such businessman. And he was a billionaire – the richest man of the town. And he came to Mahavira. Mahavira means a WARRIOR. A WARRIOR WHO HAS CONQUERED HIMSELF.

And so the rich businessman came and said to Mahavira – “I have been hearing so much about meditation, dhyan, and during the time you have been here you have created a craze in people; everybody is talking about dhyan. What is dhyan? How much does it cost and can I purchase it?”

Mahavira hesitated, so the man said, “Don’t you think about the cost at all. You simply say and I will pay; there is no problem about it.”

How to talk to this man? — Mahavira was at a loss as to what to say to him. Finally Mahavira said, “You go. In your town there is a man, a very poor man; he may be willing to sell his dhyan. He has achieved, and he is so poor that he may be ready to sell it.”

The man thanked Mahavira, rushed to the poor man, knocked on his door and said, “How much do you want for your dhyan? I want to purchase your meditation.”

The man started laughing. He said, “You can purchase me, that’s okay. But how can I give you my dhyan? It is a quality of my being, it is not a commodity.”

But businessmen have always been thinking in this way. They donate to purchase, they create temples to purchase. They give but their giving is never a giving; it is always to get something, it is an investment.

Shallow people come and ask “What will you gain out of meditation?”

Once a woman said to me “I am interested to know about my future but don’t tell me anything about meditation because what will I gain from meditation?”

This is how SHALLOW PEOPLE are – their whole life is an economy – a calculation of how much money came inward and how much money went outward! Sometime I feel sorry for such shallow men and women who are constantly after gaining something.

A warrior is not after gain; a warrior is after a peak, after a peak of experiencing. When two warriors fight with a sword or gun – they have absolutely no time to think – the fight in the stage of NO-MIND. This NO-MIND is the stage of Buddha – when you live your life by being a WARRIOR – you have all the possibilities of becoming a Buddha – because at one time – Gautama Buddha was also a great warrior – he was a Prince – Prince Siddhartha.

Always remember – a businessman’s calculative head cannot help you attain GOD EXPERIENCE. God is the greatest risk, and through mathematics you will not reach — only through taking the ultimate risk, putting everything that you have at stake. And you don’t know the unknown; the known you risk and the unknown you don’t know. A warrior can put everything on stake – he can RISK – he can JUMP FIRST and then think later – on the spiritual path – the MASTER seeks such WARRIORS – and not businessmen.

“Don’t be cunning minds. No child is ever a businessman, and it is difficult to find an old man who is not a businessmen. Every child is a warrior and every old man is a businessman. How every warrior becomes a businessman is a long story: the whole society, education, culture, conditioning, makes you more and more fearful, afraid. You cannot take a risk and everything that is beautiful is risky. Love is a risk. Life is a risk. God is a risk.”

A good quality birth chart with moon in the 7th house can actually give birth to great warriors, revolutionaries who have the daring to follow their heart – fight for their community and live their whole life – BY BEING YOURSELF.

And because such natives can live by BEING YOURSELF – they can change the world for good – this world therefore need social reformers, social activists, social revolutionaries and motivational leaders who can make this beautiful planet – a better place to live.

Always remember – BY BEING YOURSELF – you actually CHANGE the WORLD!

“Be different; be unique; be yourself.”
-Christina Grimmie

Embrace your weirdness – sing the song of your heart and live your life to the fullest. A man becomes beautiful the moment he accepts himself in totality.

Accept yourself – YOU are beautiful.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Rahu in Anuradha

Anuradha is the place where Saturn brings transformations. And transformations happen only when there is a certain shock, certain upheavals. Anuradha Nakshatra therefore falls exactly in the 8th house of Scorpio where the native goes through all kind of shock treatments until he or she is totally transformed! In Pushya – Saturn is focused on bringing reforms. In Anuradha – Saturn is focused on bringing total transformation.

“Transformation is a process, and as life happens there are tons of ups and downs. It’s a journey of discovery – there are moments on mountaintops and moments in deep valleys of despair.”
-Rick Warren

In Pushya Saturn is religious but not spiritual. In Anuradha – Saturn is spiritual and not religious. Always remember – religion can reform your life – but it cannot transform you. It is only through spirituality that you truly transform – and that’s what ANURADHA does – it transforms you totally into a new person – a new man!

“Religion can reform a person’s life, but it can never transform him. Only the Holy Spirit can transform!”
-Aiden Wilson Tozer

Anuradha is all about transformation and transformation is directly connected with spirituality.

Always remember – Spirituality never comes from any religion – spirituality comes from the soul.

In the Kaal Purush Kundali – the 8th house is the spiritual house – it is in the 8th – it is through the 8th house that the transformation happens which ultimately leads you to MOKSHA _ LIBERATION_ ECSTATCY which is seen through the 12th house! So you see – 8th house is therefore the most beautiful house – as long as spiritual transformation is concerned. Osho Rajneesh had almost 4 planets in his 8th house. Whenever there are planets in the 8th house – and the chart is of good quality then the person goes through many transformations which ultimately leads him to great successes in life. Amitabh Bachchan also has major planets in 8th house.

8th house is where the sign Scorpio falls. Anuradha dwells in Scorpio sign. Saturn is also connected with 8th house since the number 8 itself signify Saturn. And so Anuradha is a highly powerful transformative nakshatra and when Rahu falls in such a highly sensitive transformative Nakshatra then you can imagine – how mind-blowing and challenging life is going to be! A life of challenges is good than a life with absolutely no challenges. It is necessary to remember that challenges are not send by God to destroy you but to strengthen you.

“There are no great people in this world, only great challenges which ordinary people rise to meet.”
-WILLIAM FREDERICK HALSEY, JR

Rahu in Anuradha natives loves challenges. The more you challenge these natives the more they are excited. As mentioned these natives are highly extremist and they can go to any extent to bring transformation for the larger interest of the society. Reminds me of Henry VIII. Henry VIII was the King of England from 22 April 1509 until his death in 1547. During those time the Church of England used to influence the monarchy. Henry VIII was against this meddling of the Church in the administrative decisions. And so he removed the Pope and the authority of Church and he appointed himself as the Supreme Head of the Church of England and dissolved all convents and monasteries. Now imagine how much courage and spirit one may need to bring this great transformation – and challenging the power of the Church and the Pope during those times was not an easy thing to do – but Rahu in Anuradha loves all kind of challenges and they successfully bring the change they desire! Henry VIII – the King of England had Rahu in Anuradha Nakshatra.

Henry VIII is often described by historians and scholars as “one of the most charismatic rulers to sit on the English throne” and his reign has been described as the “most important” in English history.

Something new, something strange always happens with native having Rahu in Anuradha Nakshatra. Now look at Henry VIII – he married six times!

Anuradha is ruled by Saturn. Interestingly Saturn rules all three Nakshtras – namely: Pushya, Anuradha and Uttara Bhadrapada and they all belong to watery signs – namely: Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces!

All three watery signs that I just mentioned – Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are highly emotional signs – and look at the facts – SATURN just loves all of these three signs – else how come all the three nakshatras would fall in these 3 emotional signs?

And so today I want to debunk the misconception that SATURN knows NO emotions. That is a total myth. Saturn loves emotions – that is why Saturn bless those who serve the POOR – the NEEDY! Only an emotional person will serve the poor – one who has heart that beats with compassion and love!

And so my friends – I tell you – that SATURN is EMOTIONAL but HE is not an EMOTIONAL FOOL – SATURN is EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENT. Emotional intelligence is the essence of Lord Saturn.

Emotional intelligence is the triumph of heart over the head. To be emotionally intelligent means to understand the powerful emotions of yours and others and to handle it properly.

You will perform well as CEO, COO or you will become CEO or COO only when you show emotional intelligence.

“Emotional intelligence, more than any other factor, more than I.Q. or expertise, accounts for 85% to 90% of success at work… I.Q. is a threshold competence. You need it, but it doesn’t make you a star. Emotional intelligence can.”
-Warren G. Bennis

Lord SATURN loves emotional intelligence – a person having a strong Saturn placement always attains emotional intelligence and that makes him the future CEO or COO of a company or a successful political leader.

Rahu in watery sign of Scorpio and that too in the very center of the 8th house – makes the native very emotionally vulnerable and many times the native ends up making decisions based on emotions. Now if the native is an emotional fool then he will make wrong decisions and if the native is emotionally intelligent person then he will make right decisions. So emotions is NOT bad – but how purified and balanced emotions are – is what matters in making you a HERO or a ZERO.

Rahu in Anuradha natives takes great interest in spirituality. Depending on the quality of the horoscope – based on how evolved the soul is – the native either gets inclined towards occultism or spirituality.

Occultism and spirituality are two ends – occultism deals with the world of magic – whereas spirituality deals with the world of miracles. And it is necessary to remember that magic is man made whereas miracle is God made!

And so Rahu in Anuradha can either become a Mahavira or a typical black magician. It all depends on the level and quality of the soul whose horoscope is on the table.

GOING TO EXTREMES is the quality of Rahu in Anuradha native. These people either are standing first in the queue or last in the queue.

All watery signs being too emotional – generally are NOT WILLING to LET GO. And Saturn’s Anuradha and Rahu’s combination makes the person too clinging by nature – and this nature of clinging – this nature of not forgiving – this nature of not letting go eventually brings more miseries in their life.

Rahu in Anuradha natives should take efforts to move towards detachment. The whole mathematics of life is simple – more attachment equals to more miseries. And more detachment equals to more happiness.

The most common complaint of Rahu in Anuradha natives is they feel very unfortunate because whatsoever they do goes wrong. And they try not to do wrong again, but that’s not going to help because the center has to be changed. Their minds function in a wrong way. They may think that they are doing good, but they will do bad. With all their good wishes, they cannot help; they are helpless.

There was a young man. He must be a Rahu in Anuradha native – because no matter whatsoever he does – he would end up doing wrong! The problem is always with the center – if the center remains ignorant then whatsoever you do – it goes wrong!

And so one day this young man visited a great Sufi Saint. The young man continued to visit the same saint for many many days but the saint was a silent one; he will not speak anything. Then one day the young man had to say, he had to ask, “I have been coming again and again, waiting that you will say something, and you have not said anything. And unless you say, I cannot understand, so just give me a message for my life, a direction so that I can move in that direction.”

So that Sufi sage said, “NEKI KAR KUYEN MAY DAL: Do good and throw it in the well.” It is one of the oldest Sufi sayings: “Do good and throw it in the well.” It means do good and forget it immediately; don’t carry that “I have done good.”

So next day the young man helped one old woman to cross the road, and then he pushed her into the well.

“NEKI KAR KUYEN MAY DAL: DO good and throw it in the well.”

If your wrong center is functioning, whatsoever you do – will go wrong. So the first lesson for all natives having Rahu in Anuradha is to focus inwards and to realize that there is something wrong within you – it is only when you accept this fact that you can actually start improvising your SELF and once you start working on your SELF – then this Rahu in Anuradha will take you to heights of success.

Rahu in Anuradha in simple words is a high voltage power unit – if it is put to use for a GOOD CAUSE – then he will manifest into a beautiful helpful human being and – if it is put to use for a BAD CAUSE – the he will turn out to be the most dangerous person on this planet. There is no middle ground for Rahu Anuradha natives – you are either TOO GOOD or you are TOO BAD.

Because Scorpio is a sign that had much depth of understanding – this Rahu in Anuradha at some stage invokes the native to find the PURPOSE of his or her life. And if the native is an evolved soul, if he is on the spiritual path then sooner or later they realize that DOING FOR OTHERS is what adds value to their life – DOING FOR OTHERS is what brings certain meaning to their life.

“NOTHING WOULD MEAN ANYTHING IF I DIDN’T LIVE A LIFE OF USE TO OTHERS.”
– Anjelina Jolie

Incidentally – Angelina Jolie also has Rahu in Anuradha Nakshatra. The best word to describe Angelina Jolie is “charitable”. As the beautiful mother of 6 children (three of them adopted), she is highly involved in a number of humanitarian projects around the globe. Life purpose is what these natives need to add certain meaning to their life. And so generally an evolved soul having Rahu in Anuradha lives a life that is of USE TO OTHERS.

“Our prime purpose in this life is to HELP OTHERS.
And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them”
-Dalai Lama

Pushya Rahu is all about reforms and reorganization of the system however Anuradha Rahu is all about transformations and that includes physical transformation as well! It is necessary to remember that you cannot have a physical transformation until you have a spiritual transformation! Anuradha Rahu is all about spiritual transformation – and such a placement proves beneficial only to a soul that is inclined towards spirituality.

Rahu Anuradha is specifically good for the following Ascendants:

  1. Virgo Ascendant
  2. Gemini Ascendant
  3. Capricorn Ascendant
  4. Aquarius Ascendant

Such a Rahu proves more beneficial if Mercury, Saturn is well placed and well aspected in the birth chart.

The sacred tree for Anuradha Nakshatra is the Spanish cherry tree. In India the name of this tree is “Bakula” or “Bakhul”. It is also called “Bullet-wood tree” in the US. If you are born with Moon in Anuradha Nakshatra or Rahu in Anuradha Nakshatra then you should plant this tree in your garden and nurture it with love. The more you nurture this wonderful tree the more you will receive blessings from Anuradha – the highly transformative Nakshatra!

Always remember transformation happens only through a certain disruption. Disruption causes many changes and disruption requires FORCE of POWER to transform the system in its totality.

Anuradha is all about disruptive powers, disruptive leadership, disruptive individuals. Sometimes a certain disruption is necessary to clear the path of your life.

Anuradha therefore becomes a great asset for an evolved soul. Transformation happens through disruption – and transformation is always sudden in nature.

“TRANSFORMATION CAN ONLY TAKE PLACE IMMEDIATELY; THE REVOLUTION IS NOW, NOT TOMORROW”
-JIDDU KRISHNAMURTI

Enlightenment is also spontaneous. It is accidental – it can happen anytime – suddenly you become enlightened – this suddenness is of the 8th house. Once a learned professor from the US was having a good bath in his tub and suddenly he became enlightened. He had been meditating for many years – but you see – at the most strange moment – unexpected moment while taking bath he attained the state of enlightenment – and he came out of his tub – started running towards the hall – because in the hall – the master – Bhagavan Ramana Maharashi was present. And he reached the hall and from far away he asked the Bhagavan “Master – is this THAT?”

And the Bhagavan smiled and said “ Yes – that is THAT.”

The man’s joy knew no bounds – he was speechless, he fell at the feet of the master and tears started flowing from his eyes – those tears were the tears of joy!

Enlightenment is accidental – it is spontaneous – it is sudden by nature however it is not that you don’t do anything for it. That is not the meaning. If you don’t do anything for it, even the accident will not happen. The professor had been meditating for several years – he had been taking the necessary efforts – so efforts are required and so the accident happens only to those who have been doing much for it; but it never happens because of their doing. This is the problem; it never happens because of their doing; it never happens without their doing. That doing is not a cause for it to happen. The doing is just a cause which creates the situation in them so they become accident-prone, that’s all!

So don’t stop doing things. Don’t stop taking the efforts – you need to get ready for it, ready for the accident, ready for the unknown – ready, waiting, receptive. Otherwise the accident may come and may pass you. You may be asleep. The unknown may knock on your door and you will be fast asleep – you will miss – you will simply miss.

8th house Anuradha and the connection of Anuradha with Rahu does create a possibility of experiencing the sudden transformation, the accidental enlightenment – it is possible but only for those evolved souls who are taking efforts – who have been doing much for it.

“Enlightenment is like an accident. All your meditations will create just an accident-proneness, that’s all. That’s why even a Buddha cannot say when your enlightenment is going to happen. People may ask Buddha and Buddha will say “Soon”. It means nothing. Soon may be the next moment, soon may not come for many lives because an accident cannot be predicted. If it can be predicted, it is not an accident at all, then it is a continuity.”
– Osho

Anuradha – because of its connection with the sign Scorpio, 8th house – does bring sudden changes – the surprise element is always present in Anuradha and Rahu simply fires up this suddenness of Anuradha which ultimately takes the native through many tragedies, and accidents that eventually helps the native to evolve as a much matured person.

8th house is very significant if you truly want to experience spiritual transformation. Moon in 8th house, Sun in 8th house, Jupiter in 8th house or Rahu or Mars in 8th house is therefore significant in the overall spiritual progress of the native. However any planet in the 8th house is bound to make you go through certain pain – certain suffering – because without the pain, without the suffering, without the losses – you will NOT WAKE UP and so this pain that 8th house lord or 8th house planet brings is not to hurt you but to AWAKEN YOU and help you realize the true essence of human life and the beyond.

Suffering is necessary as long as you remain ‘asleep’ – the moment you are awakened – then suffering ceases to exist – then you no more suffer – you overcome all your sufferings!

Always remember – GOD TESTS THOSE WHOM HE LOVES THE MOST. And so if you are going through sufferings and while going through sufferings if you stay positive – if you stay faithful then it is a sign that GOD LOVES YOU THE MOST.

Always remember – a GEM cannot be polished without friction – similarly a man cannot be perfected without trials!

Anuradha is therefore a very significant NAKSHATRA. Yes – it brings trials – it brings sudden happenings – it brings certain sufferings but all of these is necessary for a man to mature – to evolve – to rise and experience the higher altitudes of life!

Shallow people are afraid of Scorpio Sign. Shallow people are afraid of Anuradha Nakshatra – but I LOVE ANURADHA – because transformation is not possible without the trials of life.

“Every trial and experience you have passed through is necessary for your salvation.”
-Brigham Young

A good character is developed only through experience of trials and suffering. It is very significant to note that all EVOLVED souls have been through great sufferings and trials in life – then be it Jesus, Buddha, Mahavira, Muhammed or Saint Valmiki!

“IF WE APPROACH ADVERSITIES WISELY, OUR HARDEST TIMES can be times of greatest growth.
WHICH IN TURN CAN LEAD TOWARD times of greatest happiness.”
-JOSEPH B. WIRTHLIN

God always tests evolved souls – just the way master always tests his best disciples!

Anuradha rules the breasts, stomach, womb and bowels. And so Rahu in Anuradha can create health problems related to stomach, and if the native is a woman – then diseases related with breast, bowels and womb (i.e. uterus).

The deity of Anuradha Nakshatra is Mitra-Varuna.

Agasthya and Vasishtha are sons of Mitra Varun. It happened so that Mitra (Sun God) and Varuna (Rain God) happened to see the the most beautiful fairy (apsara) Urvashi. And looking at her – they could not resist the fall of their combined semen from which the great sage Agasthya and Sage Vasishtha were born. Mitra (Sun God) and Varuna (Rain God) – both rule Anuradha Nakshtra – one who worships Mitra Varun – is blessed with abudnance of prosperity and peace in life. I prostrate before the Sun God and Rain God – Mitra Varun.

Mitra and Varuna are two deities (devas) frequently referred to in the ancient Indian scripture of the Rigveda. They are both considered Ādityas, or deities connected with the Sun; and they are protectors of the righteous order which regulates and coordinates the operation of the universe and everything within it. They are responsible for the proper functioning of the natural, moral and sacrificial orders.

Sun and Rain – Hot and Cold – High and Low – this is how life of a Rahu in Anuradha Nakshtra native is – High and Low – Ups and Downs – and because of this high and low phases of life – these native always continue to evolve – to mature – in true sense they remain ALIVE.

“Up & downs in life are very important to keep us going, Because a straight line even in an E.C.G Means we are not alive”
-RATAN TATA

Anuradha is a highly volatile nakshatra – and Rahu’s presence in Anuradha simply exaggerates this volatility – the person is always living on the edge – and that keeps him always on his toes – that keeps him alive – ready to take all kind of challenges that may come his or her way.

“BEING ON THE EDGE ISN’T AS SAFE, BUT THE VIEW IS BETTER.”
-RICKY GERVAIS

Adventure, tragedies, upheavals, sufferings – life becomes too spicy when Rahu falls in Anuradha Nakshatra – however for an evolved soul – all of these trials and sufferings becomes a ‘blessing in disguise’ because through this sufferings – awareness comes to his being – the fire of suffering becomes the light of consciousness in his life.

To attain awareness – to experience the light of consciousness within you – you have to take efforts – you have to “jump” – you have to take the risk!

Reminds me of a beautiful story – there was a young man and he was walking with a old man. It was night time – and the road was very dark – but the old man was carrying a lamp in his hand. And so the young man was able to walk easily – he was enjoying the walk with the old man – everything was clearly visible – the old man was holding the lamp in his hand….

But after a while they came to a crossroad, and the old man who had a lamp had to go his way.

Suddenly there was darkness. Now the young man suffered very much.

He started crying and weeping, saying, ‘Why didn’t I learn how to make a lamp? Why didn’t I ask that man how to light a lamp? My own lamp — even if it were small — would have been better, but I never thought about it. I was thinking that everything was going so well, so what was the need? The path was lit — but now …there is total darkness….”

This is what happens – if you come to a man who has his inner light burning, sometimes suddenly a door opens and your path is lighted and you see all that you could not even believe a second before — it is there! But this is not your lamp, so this will become a memory and will haunt you.

Again and again you will think about how to go back. There is no going back, there is no need to go back. You have to go forward. You have to attain to your own light; and that can be done….Anuradha Rahu is that dark road that can inspire you to lit your own lamp by turning inwards – by starting with meditations – with chanting – because this is the only way that you can lit the lamp of awareness – consciousness within you!

But who wants to listen? Shallow people are just interested in knowing about the circumference – rarely it happens that one in a million starts self-inquiring “WHO AM I?” – and the more he self-inquires the more he starts finding the answers that he seeks – such a man someday becomes a buddha.

“Enquiry of “Who am I?” means finding the source of ‘I’. When that is found, that which you seek is accomplished.”
-SriRamana Maharishi.com

Only that man – only that woman can attain LIBERATION – who has been through sufferings and trials of life. Suffering is the sole origin of consciousness. Anuradha Rahu may bring certain sufferings but those sufferings can become blessing in disguise if the native is an evolved soul – if the native is a meditative soul – if the native is taking efforts to rise above the mind by contemplating on His SELF.

“Distracted as we are by various thoughts, if we would continually contemplate the Self, which is Itself God, this single thought would in due course replace all distraction and would itself ultimately vanish.
The pure Consciousness that alone finally remains is God. This is Liberation.”
-Ramana Maharshi

My fellows – liberation NEVER happens after DEATH. Liberation or Moksha is experienced while one is very much in human form – ALIVE – breathing in and breathing out. But not everybody can understand this – those who have understood – have started with the greatest journey of their life – the Journey Within.

Love to all my readers. Stay blessed and remember to meditate every day. Chant the holy Ganesha Mantra : “Aum Gan Ganapataye Namaha:” 108 times every day – morning and evening – to attain peace and prosperity in your life and to make your journey with Rahu Anuradha more fulfilling and rewarding.

Ganapati Bappa Morya!

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.

Rahu In Kritika

Kritika is HOT. But this Hotness is not of Mars – this Hotness is of Sun – the source of our universe! Mar’s hotness is simply sexual. Sun’s hotness is highly spiritual. Understand the difference. Savor the difference.

Placed in the fiery sign of Aries & romantic sign of Taurus – Kritika, the Nakshatra of the Star – Sun is all fired up to get things done! The fire to LEARN, the courage to take RISKS is what makes Kritika a very special Nakshatra. And when Rahu is in Kritika – these qualities simply are exaggerated.

So now you have a Kritika Rahu native whose desire is to learn as much as he or she can, do something unique, to have some adventure in life – basically the native wants some action, some spice, some thrill in life!

With most of its time being spent in the sign of Taurus (2nd, 3rd 4th Pada falling in Taurus) – the native having Rahu in Krittika Taurus – does demand a good lifestyle that has all the luxuries and pleasures to offer.

Rahu in Aries – Kritika First Pada is the only black spot – otherwise Rahu in Taurus in all the remaining 3 Padas is an excellent placement for the native.

Kritika Rahu in Aries is not comfortable considering Mars is enemy to Rahu. However the same Kritika Rahu in Taurus becomes a great booster for the native’s career and overall growth.

Action is what Kritika wants. Kritika is closely related to Lord Kartikeya – and Lord Kartikeya was a great Kshatriya warrior – he was the brother of Shri Ganesha and was known for his valor and courage.

Lord Kartikeya is also known as Lord Murugan in South India. HE is the Warrior-GOD.

Rahu In Kritika Nakshatra

And so when Rahu falls in Krittika then the person becomes a highly action oriented person. It is a good quality – because there are many who continue to dream but never take the necessary action. To achieve your dreams – you need to ACT first. That is exactly what Rahu in Krittika natives are good at – they take ACTION – they are highly action oriented fellows, they will simply JUMP first and then think!

“THE SECRET OF GETTING THINGS DONE IS TO ACT!”
-DANTE ALIGHIERI

In one of the greatest book of wisdom – Dasbodh – written by Saint Samarath Ramdas, it is mentioned in Marathi:

||केल्याने होत आहे रे आधी केलेची पाहिजे ||

Which means: “By doing it happens, so first you should DO IT.”

Saint Ramdas simply wants you to realize that ACTION is required – only by taking ACTION you can achieve your dreams, your goals, and your mission.

A true seeker should definitely read the wonderful insightful divine book of wisdom: DASBODH – (DAS means Servant and BODH means Self-Realization/Wisdom.)

Rahu In Kritika Nakshatra

Around 500 years ago Samarth Ramdas Swami scripted this divine book which is now being translated in English for a wider reach.

Krittika is good at taking ACTION. Now it all depends on what is the quality of your horoscope? Are you an evolved soul? Are you a meditative being? Because only then can you use this ACTION ORIENTED quality of Krittika for a GOOD CAUSE – GOOD PURPOSE.

Ignorant – negative folks having Rahu in Kritika can simply spoil their life by hurting others. So it is important to note that RAHU IN KRITTIKA is very sensitive placement because either you can become a good fighter who fights for a good cause – OR – you may simply continue to hurt others by your insensitive comments and actions. And so it is necessary that the overall planetary placement is positive in nature – and the person is an evolved soul.

When it is Krittika – some insensitiveness comes by default. Now this insensitiveness can actually become an asset for someone who is aspiring to join the Military or Police force. So it all depends on where the “seed” falls!

Krittika, Uttara Phaluguni & Uttarashada – all three belong to Lord Sun!

Krittika being a Nakshatra of Sun and placed in the Sign of Mars & Venus – these native are highly active. They have a certain charm to their personality. You can say that they are the ‘downtown’. A downtown has the charm and is full of activities and looks very lively!

“A downtown is the center of a community, the pulse….when it dies, your town dies.”
-Chuck Comaeu

When I flew to the US for the very first time in the October of 2006 – I wasn’t aware of what this “downtown” is all about! But then on the second day of my trip – a close American friend told me that “downtown” is the main city area where all business activities takes place. Across the US – every city has a downtown!

So you see – KRITTIKA is the downtown – a activity hub – a place where ACTION takes place.

Incidentally men and women born on Krittika Nakshatra are also highly action oriented. Never mess with a woman having her moon in Krittika Nakshatra – she will not hesitate to give you a nice kick if she know how to do Karate or if she knows a bit about boxing!

I love and respect Krittika because we need brave, courageous men and women who can dare to FIGHT BACK. We need fighters who will fight against injustice, against corruption, against inequality. Krittika Rahu natives has that “fuel” to fight for their rights as well as for other’s rights.

“My Birth Right” is a favorite phrase of Krittika Rahu natives as well as those born on Krittika Nakshatra! They always want to secure their rights – be it human rights, legal rights – but they want to ensure that they get what they are entitled for.

Reminds me of Martin Luther King – who fought for Black Americans. King participated in and led marches for blacks’ right to vote, desegregation, labor rights, and other basic civil rights.

You see Rahu in Kritika brings such courage to fight against inequality and injustice. King was awarded the Noble Prize on October 14, 1964.

“Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.”
-Martin Luther King

You see – the spark of Sun’s Nakshatra Krittika and how this spark becomes a great light when Rahu falls in Kritika! Martin Luther King had Rahu in Krittika and his great struggle for basic human rights for the Black Americans is simply inexpressible in words.

An evolved soul having Rahu in Kritika Nakshtra will NEVER stand injustice – he will fight back for justice.

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

Rahu Krittika natives rejoice when they are able to FIGHT BACK and attain the crown of Righteousness.

“THE SECRET OF GETTING THINGS DONE IS TO ACT!”
-DANTE ALIGHIERI

It is always good to have a friend having Rahu in Krittika or Moon in Krittika because such a friend has the courage to fight for you – especially if you are being sidelined or mistreated by others. These natives will give you confidence by saying “Don’t worry – I am here for you.”

Rahu In Kritika Nakshatra

Rahu Krittika natives are those kind of friends who will remain with you – when the whole world goes against you or condemns you. They are the “Karna” of this modern AGE.

“A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.”
-WALTER WINCHELL

Reminds me of a beautiful story – the story of two friends on the backdrop of the Second World War.

Two soldiers were very friendly, great friends. One evening one soldier comes back to the trench but finds that his friend has not returned. Many people have been killed on the front. He becomes afraid — is his friend killed?

He enquires, and then somebody says, ‘We are not certain that he is killed, but he was so terribly wounded that it was impossible for him to come to the trench. By now he must be dead.’

It is getting dark now and the enemy is still firing madly but the soldier wants to go and search for his friend.

The officer says, ‘No, this is foolish’, but he doesn’t listen to the officer — he goes.

It is very difficult in the dark and there are thousands of corpses all around.

He looks and looks and in the middle of the night he returns — dragging his friend’s dead body on his back. He himself is now terribly wounded, mortally wounded… he cannot survive.

The moment he reaches the trench he falls on the floor with the body of his dead friend.

The officer comes and he says, ‘I told you not to be foolish! It was not worth it. Now you know what you have done to yourself. The friend is dead and you are dying!’

The dying man opened his eyes and he said, ‘But it was worth it — because when I went there, he looked at me and he said, “Jim, I knew you would come.”‘

For love, life can be sacrificed — it is worth it.

“We have been taught just the contrary: sacrifice everything just to be alive; just to survive, sacrifice everything. I teach you the contrary: to be loving, sacrifice everything.” – Osho

Such is the spirit of Krittika Nakshatra. The spirit of Love – the spirit of sacrificing everything for a higher cause – a higher purpose!

But unfortunately many people and so called pundits have simply defamed this beautiful fiery NAKSHATRA – simply because they cannot stand the TRUTH – they are wolves and NOT tigers like Krittika Nakshatra!

Rahu exaggerates the matters of life to which it is associated with. Similarly now that Rahu is in Krittika – the base desire of the native is – attaining social status, prestige & power, pleasures of this human world, luxurious life & a constant active life!

People having Rahu in Krittika generally don’t like to retire. Retirement is not something they desire for – they want to continue working until they take their last breath.

“Work is the basis of living. I’ll never retire. A man’ll rust out quicker than he’ll wear out.”
-Colonel Sanders

The wise NEVER retires. I have been with great spiritual masters and I have seen them fully active in serving people until their last breath – and so one should NEVER retire. You may get an official retirement after the age of 58 in a government office however you should ensure that you remain active by doing something constructive for the society in general.

Family, Wealth, Accumulation of wealth, treasury is what the native is obsessed with. POWER is what they want – but this power is basically to strengthen their treasury and bank balance – they want power to secure their future.

Taurus is a sign that deals with the practicalities of life. It is highly romantic – but you should remember that the word ROMANCE is defined as ADVENTURE in the English dictionary. And so Taurus men and women go through many adventures in life – some are tragic – some are enlightening – but there is always action in their life. Being a Sun’s Nakshatra – the native is more individualistic – he follows his heart – he believe in living life by being yourself.

Sun’s sharpness comes naturally to a Rahu Kritika native. Being ethical, being truthful, being sincere and most importantly – taking the lead – taking the initiative is something that Rahu Krittika native loves to do. Reminds me of Benjamin Franklin – one of the founding father of the US and the author of the essay – Way to Wealth. Benjamin had Rahu in Kritika Nakshatra. If you visit the White House – then you will see the photo of Benjamin Franklin hanging on the wall of the Oval office.

Rahu In Krittika Nakshatra

How significant must be this genius man – Benjamin Franklin! Just near the resolute desk – the desk of the US President – you will see only Benjamin Franklin’s photo hanged on the wall! In fact Benjamin Franklin photo is also imprinted on most of the US currency notes.

Rahu In Krittika Nakshatra

Krittika is the first Nakshtra in the zodiac cycle that belongs to Lord Sun – and so the sharpness, the intelligence, the genius quality is indeed a boon of Kritika Nakshatra! Benjamin Franklin is one fine example of Rahu in Krittika Nakshatra!

The Way to Wealth is an essay written by Benjamin Franklin in 1758. It is a collection of adages and advice presented in Poor Richard’s Almanac during its first 25 years of publication. The essay is organized into a speech given by “Father Abraham” to a group of people. Many of the phrases Father Abraham quotes continue to be familiar today. The essay’s advice is based on the themes of work ethic.

Rahu in Krittika are highly faithful beings -and it is clearly seen through the quote of Benjamin Franklin:

“I have lived, Sir, a long time and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth — that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings that “except the Lord build they labor in vain that build it.” I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without his concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better than the Builders of Babel”
-BENJAMIN FRANKLIN

Greatness comes when you surrender to God – when you have deep faith in God. Benjamin Franklin expresses his faith in God is such a beautiful way – I am touched.

Famously known as “The Little Flower of Jesus” – Thérèse of Lisieux also has Rahu in Kritika Nakshatra. Born as Marie Françoise-Thérèse – she felt an early call to religious life and after overcoming various obstacles in 1888, at the early age of 15 she became a nun. The Catholic Church later revered her as Saint Therese.

As mentioned earlier this bright star of Sun – Kritika has given birth to many great personalities of which some I have mentioned through this sharing.

Rahu In Krittika Nakshatra

Incidentally another famous Saint – Saint Mother Terresa also has Rahu in Kritika Nakshatra. Krittika Rahu in the sixth house (Taurus Sign) of her Ascendant chart shows her obsession towards serving the under privileged. Sixth house – a perfect place that signify the desire to serve the diseased, orphan, unhealthy, oppressed and those men and women who are in some kind of trouble or problem. Sixth house typically signify servitude – and Rahu in 6th house signify that the person loves to provide SERVICE to others.

“The fruit of love is service. The fruit of service is peace. And peace begins with a smile.”
-Mother Teresa

Kritika is a Warrior’s Nakshatra. And a true warrior is not the one who sheds blood of innocent men and women – but one who sacrifices himself for the GOOD of OTHERS. Rahu in Krittika Nakshatra in an evolved soul’s chart can give such fantastic results – can make you less selfish and more selfless.

“Warriors are not what you think of as warriors. The warrior is not someone who fights, for no one has the right to take another life. The warrior, for us, is the one who sacrifices himself for the good of others. His task is to take care of the elderly, the defenseless, those who cannot provide for themselves, and above all, the children, the future of humanity.”
-Sitting Bull

Kritika can do something new – that is out of the blue. Kritika can make history. That is what Hillary Clinton did when she became the FIRST AMERICAN WOMAN to contest the 2016 US Presidential Elections! Hillary Clinton made history – she has Rahu in Kritika Nakshatra – so you see the power of Kritika! A woman having Rahu in Kritika is a fortunate placement because in this AGE – a woman need to have fighting spirit – not giving up spirit!

So Kritika is a Nakshatra that can carve its own name in gold! It has the ability to bring a certain uniqueness to your individuality and Rahu in Kritika does bring along some uniqueness to the native’s individuality.

Mohan asked “What is the spiritual significance of Kritika Nakshatra?”

I said to Mohan “You have asked what others won’t think of asking. I will tell you now – the spiritual significance of this great magnanimous Nakshtra – Krittika.

Krittika Nakshatra is connected with Lord Dattatray.

Lord Dattatreya is represented as having three faces, one of Lord Brahma, the second of Lord Vishnu and the third of Lord Siva. In simple words – it signifies that this is the only deity that has attained the strength of Brahma, Vishnu & Mahesh (Shiva). All the three Gunas – RAJAS (ROYAL), SATVIC (PIOUS) and TAMAS (Fighter) are found in Lord Dattatreya and so one who worships Lord Dattatreya – attains the blessings of all the three DEVTAS – BRAMHA, VISHNU, SHIVA. He becomes invincible – he attains great spiritual heights.

Now you must be wondering that what connects Krittika with Lord Dattatray?

The bridge that connects Kritika with Lord Dattatray is the holy Audumbar Tree.

Audumbar OR Udumbara is known as Blue Lotus in Buddhism. In English – it is called “The Redwood Fig or Cluster Fig Tree.) This divine tree is the favorite of Lord Dattatray and the tree that comes under Krittika Nakshatra is also the Audumbar Tree! So those who have RAHU in Krittika should definitely worship this holy divine tree – Audumbar on every Thursday. Thursday is the day of Lord Dattatray and across India – especially in the State of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujrat – the divine tree Audumbur is worshipped by the devotees of Lord Dattatreya.

The significance and importance of the greatest diety that the world had ever known is found in the golden words of Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi:

“Dattatreya is the universal Guru, isn’t he? And he has said that the whole world was his Guru. If you look at evil you feel you should not do it. So he said evil also was his Guru. If you see good, you would wish to do it; so he said that good also was his Guru; both good and evil, he said, were his Gurus. It seems that he asked a hunter which way he should go, but the latter ignored his question, as he was intent upon his aim to shoot a bird above. Dattatreya saluted him, saying, ‘You are my Guru! Though killing the bird is bad, keeping your aim so steadfast in shooting the arrow as to ignore my query is good, thereby teaching me that I should keep my mind steadfast and fixed on Ishwara. You are therefore my Guru.’ In the same way he looked upon everything as his Guru, till in the end he said that his physical body itself was a Guru, as its consciousness does not exist during sleep and the body that does not exist should therefore not be confused with the soul — dehatmabhavana (the feeling that the body is the soul). Therefore that too was a Guru for him. While he looked upon the whole world as his Guru, the whole world worshipped him as its Guru.”

Just look at the positivism! The hunter ignores Lord Dattatreya – but HE makes the Hunter as his Guru because through him – he has learned something new. See the positivism, see the quality of constant learning…..from situations! I humbly prostrate to the deity of my many past births – Lord Dattatreya.

Rahu In Krittika Nakshatra

One who worships the divine TREE – AUDUMBUR (cluster fig tree) receives the blessings from Lord Dattareya and Kritika Nakshatra as well.

The first Nakshatra of the Zodiac Cycle is Ketu’s Nakshatra – ASHWINI. From NOTHINGNESS (Ketu) we are born.

The second Nakshatra of the Zodiac Cycle is Venus Nakshtra – BHARNI. This beautiful human body, all the organs of this human body are the blessings of BHARANI – Goddess Venus.

And the third Nakshatra of the Zodiac Cycle is Sun’s Nakshatra – Kritika. Body is formed but CONSCIOUSNESS – AWARENESS comes through the divine light of the SUN – Krittika.

To such a sharp, fiery Nakshatra of Sun – Kritika, I humbly prostrate and pray that may all my readers are blessed by its divine light!

Rahu In Krittika Nakshatra

Always remember – SUFFERING is necessary as long as you are ‘asleep’. The moment you wake up – suffering ceases to exist – then you truly start enjoying every moment of life – the key is to wake-up and that is possible only when you start turning inwards and realize that the light of consciousness is within you.

The fire of suffering becomes the light of consciousness! So stop whining over your suffering and start learning from your suffering – the more you learn the more you become aware and then this awareness will burn up your ignorance.

The key is to meditate. The key is to devote your time to God. The key is to start chanting the holy mantra – Aum Ram Krishna Hari. Aum Ram Krishna Hari. Aum Ram Krishna Hari.

You will realize the power of chanting only when you start chanting – so get started, because life is short – I may be dead by tomorrow – you may be dead by tomorrow – we never know when the exit call would come – we never know when death will strike us – so use this precious moment to grow inside out – for the real growth is the growth within.

“Before death comes use the opportunity of life to attain something which is beyond death.”
-OSHO

Meditate every day.

Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru. 🙏

Rahu in Pushya

Rahu in Pushya Nakshatra can be defined in two words – SOCIAL REFORMER!

“Reformers have the idea that change can be achieved by brute sanity.”
-George Bernard Shaw

Saturn is social by nature. And a person having a strong Saturn generally likes to serve the society in some way or the other! Pushya being a Nakshatra of Saturn – Rahu in Pushya brings a deep desire of serving the society, uplifting the society. The person sooner or later in life is drawn towards social work, social upliftment. Rahu Pushya native loves to SERVE others. The most beautiful example of Rahu in Pushya Nakshatra in the Father of our Nation – Mahatama Gandhi.

“the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” – Mahatma Gandhi

Mahatma Gandhi has Rahu in Pushya Nakshtra. And you can now relate that how a simple man who was a lawyer by profession went on to become the greatest social icon that the world had ever known! I humbly prostrate before the Mahatama whose efforts in bringing social upliftment – his fight against untouchability, his fight against age old customs and traditions, his fight against discrimination eventually brought a great change in the perspective of common man of India.

It is said that the Political Guru or Advisor of Mahatama Gandhi was Gopalkrishna Gokhale. In 1912, Gokhale visited South Africa at Mahatama Gandhi’s invitation. Mahatma Gandhi refers to Gopal Krishna Gokhale as his “mentor and guide“. Mahatma Gandhi also recognized Gokhale as an admirable leader and master politician, describing him as pure as crystal, gentle as a lamb, brave as a lion, and noble to a fault and the most perfect man in the political field.

Gokhale was also the role model and mentor of Mohammed Ali Jinnah. Gopal Krishna Gokhale died at a young age of 49. Gokhale was closely associated with Lokmanya Tilak. At the funeral of Gokhale, Lokmanya Tilak said:

“This diamond of India, this jewel of Maharashtra, this prince of workers is taking eternal rest on the funeral ground. Look at him and try to emulate him“.

Gopal Krishna Gokhale was indeed a diamond of India who played a vital role in transforming Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi into Mahatma Gandhi.

Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama and many such great leaders have openly expressed that they have been inspired by the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi. And Gopal Krishna Gokhale was the mentor – political Guru of Mahatma Gandhi.

Non-violence, secularism, all inclusiveness and encouraging harmony between all religions is the essence of Gandhism and today India is perceived as Mahatma Gandhi’s country – even on our currency notes we have Mahatma Gandhi’s picture – there was an effort from the Government to add a few more pictures of others freedom fighters on the currency notes but they eventually realized that it will be a mistake to add any other freedom fighters photo on the currency note as the identity of India and its values is reflected by only one person – the father of our nation – Mahatma Gandhi, the greatest social reformer – a perfect result of Rahu in Pushya Nakshatra.

Rahu is a Rebel. Pushya is highly traditional by nature. When Rahu falls in Pushya – the person questions the age old traditions and customs – his intelligence won’t let him stay silent – he questions the logic behind such traditions and if he sees that there is no science but just superstition then he ferociously rebels against such traditions and customs that exploit and add no value to the society as such. One of the greatest initiative taken by Mahatma Gandhi was his fight against untouchability in India.

“The purification required is not of untouchables but of the so-called superior castes.”
– M. K. Gandhi

Rahu Pushya loves the TRUTH. Mahatma Gandhi is well known for his autobiography “My Experiments with Truth”. Probably nobody has written an autobiography with such honesty and simplicity as Mahatma Gandhi has.

“Autobiography is a very strange thing; you are writing about yourself. Either you start bragging or you start being too humble – just another way of bragging. But Mahatma Gandhi is neither of these two things; he is simple, just stating factually, just like a scientist…utterly unconcerned that it is his biography. He say everything one would like to hide from other.” – Osho

Humility, honesty comes naturally to Rahu in Pushya natives. Being a Nakshatra of Saturn – Rahu simply exaggerates the practicality of Saturn while maintaining emotional balance. And this leads one to attaining emotional intelligence.

Rahu in Pushya therefore gives birth to an emotional intelligent leader who knows when to display emotions and when to not.

Mahatma Gandhi’s Rahu in Pushya became extremely beneficial for him. In fact it is from 1919 that he rose to fame – and it is important to note that his Rahu Mahadasha begin from 1919 itself.

So what was so special about Rahu in Mahatma Gandhi’s horoscope?

The answer is simple. Gandhi’s horoscope is of Libra Ascendant. Saturn is Yogakarak for Libra Ascendant. And so since Saturn is beneficial for Libra Ascendant – Rahu in Saturn’s Pushya Nakshatra proved immensely beneficial for Mahatma Gandhi. Secondly Saturn falls in his Libra Ascendant – that is the actual house position of Saturn in Mahatma Gandhi’s horoscope. And so when Rahu is in Yogakaraka planet’s Nakshatra then such a Rahu gives good result during its Mahadasha.

The most striking factor of Pushya Nakshatra is its quest for spiritual knowledge. And when Rahu falls in Pushya then the native becomes very obsessed in seeking spiritual knowledge. Mahatma Gandhi was very obsessed with seeking spiritual knowledge. During those times he would meet many spiritual masters – one of them that I remember is the great master Paramhansa Yogananda. In his book “Autobiography of a Yogi” – Yogananda mentions about his meeting with Mahatma Gandhi.

In this unique rare picture you can see Paramhansa Yogananda having lunch with Mahatma Gandhi. Paramhansa Yogananda is reading a note written by Mahatma Gandhi as on that day Mahatman Gandhi was having his day of silence – Maun Vrat.

Mahatma Gandhi had many such meeting with other spiritual masters. As mentioned Rahu in Pushya drives the native towards seeking as much spiritual knowledge as he can.

The another famous Prime Minister of England that I remember is Margaret Thatcher. Margaret Thatcher has Rahu in Pushya. Margaret Thatcher was the longest-serving British prime minister of the 20th century and the first woman to hold that office. A Soviet journalist dubbed her the “Iron Lady”, a nickname that became associated with her uncompromising politics and leadership style. As prime minister, she implemented policies that became known as Thatcherism. Margaret Thatcher was the Prime Minister of England from 1975 to 1990. Changing the system, reorganizing the structure is what Rahu in Pushya loves to do. Thatcher was instrumental in the privatization of state owned companies and reducing the power and influence of trade unions. Although she was able to be in power for 15 years still she had to face a lot of criticism but she never gave up – she was indeed the ‘Iron lady’ of England.

“If you just set out to be liked, you would be prepared to compromise on anything at any time, and you would achieve nothing.”
-Margaret Thatcher

Some connection with Power or Royal class people comes naturally to Rahu in Pushya Nakshatra. Authority is what Saturn represents. And so Rahu in Pushya loves Authority and Authority comes naturally to members of Royal Family. Reminds me of Meghan Markle. Meghan Markle has Rahu in Pushya Nakshatra. She got married to Prince Harry. And now she has become the Duchess of Sussex.

“IT’S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOUNG WOMEN BE REMINDED THAT THEIR INVOLVEMENT MATTERS AND THAT THEIR VOICE IS HEARD. EVEN IF IT FEELS LIKE IT’S SMALL, IT REALLY CAN MAKE AN IMPACT.”
-Meghan Markle

Rahu in Pushya is a perfect placement that enables the native to attain higher positions in life. However you also need the necessary support of other planets and aspects in your chart.

The sacred tree that comes under Pushya Nakshatra is the highly spiritual tree – the Peepal tree.

In Bhagavad Gita – Lord Krishna mentions that in all the trees on this planet – I AM THE PEEPAL.

So Lord Krishna is saying that HIS OMNIPRESENCE IS ALWAYS FOUND IN PEEPAL TREE.

For Pushy – Peepal tree is the most beneficial tree. If you are born with Moon in Pushya Nakshatra or Rahu in Pushya Nakshatra then you must worship Peepal Tree every Saturday. Pushya is ruled by Saturn and Saturday is the day of Peepal Tree – see how it all connects so beautifully!

How to worship Peepal tree?

Its simple. Because God is simple. All you have to do is to take walk seven times around the Peepal tree – offer water from a copper vassal, lit a lamp (diya) using sesame oil beneath the Peepal tree and offer some sweets and haldi kumkum – that’s all. If you do this every Saturday then you will start experiencing a great positive change in your life.

But who wants to listen?

People want some fancy remedies. They forget the fact that real solution is simple, very simple.

Pushya Rahu brings a certain illusion that “I am the doer” – “I am going toe change the system” – “I am going to fight against the corrupt leaders” – the idea is good, the intention is also good BUT this doer ship leads to an egocentric person which ultimately proves fatal for the native. That’s what happened with the Mahatma. His too much dictating on India Pakistan and his insistence of giving a huge amount of money to Pakistan eventually lead to his untimely unfortunate death. Too much of “ME” and “MY” is not good for one’s spiritual progress.

Reminds me of a story – A person boarded a train and took his seat, but the luggage that he carried with him remained on his head. His fellow travelers were surprised and asked him why he was still keeping the luggage on his head. The man said he did not want to add to the burden of the train which was already over-loaded.

The fellow travelers were amused, and one of them said to him, “You seem to be a crazy person. Even if you carry the load on your head it is going to be a load on the train. Why carry an unnecessary burden on your head? Isn’t it stupid?”

The man burst into laughter and said, “I had thought you were householders, but you all seem to be sannyasins.” This man was a real sannyasin. He said,

“I carry the bag on my head in order to conform to the ways of the world. I wonder why you laugh at me? I see all of you carrying the burden of the world on your heads, although you know that like this train it is God who bears all our burdens. I just wanted to conform to your ways.”

And then the man not only put the bag down on the train, but seated himself on it saying, “This is the right way a sannyasin should sit. He is not a doer; everything just happens.”

“One who understands the beauty of non-action enters the state of inaction which is acting without ego. As we are, we are all doers, and all our doings are egocentric.” – Osho

And so the message to natives having Rahu in Pushya is – try to understand the beauty of non-doer ship.

“The present difficulty is that man thinks he is the doer.
But it is a mistake.
It is the higher power which does everything and man is only a tool.”
-Ramana Maharshi

Rahu in Pushya is good for administrative work, it is good for governance, it is good for social work, it is good for social upliftment however while doing all these good work for the society – the sense of “I” am doing everything should not build up – instead “I” am just a tool of GOD and the doer is GOD is what the native should imbibe within his or her being.

And this sense that “I AM NOT THE DOER” – comes when you SURRENDER yourself to GOD.

Reminds me of a beautiful story – it happened once a great King had come to know that Buddha is arriving in his capital. And so he was very excited, the whole capital city gathered to welcome Buddha. The King himself was present to receive the Master. Buddha arrived at the Palace. The king gave a golden throne to Buddha to sit. Buddha sat on the throne – the real Emperor was now seated on the throne. The King was deeply moved by this rare moment. He decided to offer Buddha – the most precious gift – he had one beautiful golden ornament, priceless, with many jewels in it. It was the most precious ornament that he had — a rare piece of art. He stepped ahead to present it to Buddha just to show his devotion. He came near. In his left-hand was that priceless jeweled ornament; he was going to present it. Buddha looked at it and said “Drop it.”

He was disturbed. He never expected this. He was
shocked. But because Buddha was saying “Drop it”, he dropped it.

In his other hand, in his right hand, he had brought a beautiful rose. He thought that Buddha might not like stones. He might just think that this was a childish thing that he had brought. But it was good to have an alternative, so he brought a beautiful rose. A rose is not so gross, not so material. It has a spirituality, something of the unknown is there. And
Buddha might like it because he says life is flux, and the flower is in the morning and in the evening it is no more. It is the most flux-like thing in the world. So he put his other hand in front of Buddha and he wanted to present the flower.

Buddha again said, “Drop it!”

Then he felt very disturbed. Now he had nothing to present. But when Buddha again said to drop it, he dropped it. Then suddenly he became aware of the “I.” He thought, “Why am I presenting things when I can present myself?” When he became aware, with both his hands empty he presented himself.

But Buddha again said, “Drop it!”

Now he had nothing to drop — just empty hands — and Buddha said, “Drop it!”

Mahakashyapa, Sariputta, Ananda and Buddha’s other disciples were there, and they started laughing. The King became aware that even to say that “I present myself to you” is egoistic. Even to say, “Now I am here and I surrender to you,” is not surrender.

So he himself fell down. In deep humility – he bowed before Buddha.

Buddha smiled and said, “You understand well.”

Surrender should be seen through your ACTION – just saying “I” surrender to you is not enough. The master should see you actually surrendering – through your actions and not just words.

And so that is the message to all my fellows having Rahu in Pushya – you all are good but you all will become great only when you start living your life in total surrender – in total LET GO.

“Surrender is a journey from the outer turmoil to the inner peace.”
-Sri Chinmoy

Love to all men and women having Rahu in Pushya – you keep doing the good work but ensure that your actions are not ego centric – that you come out of the trap of “I am doing” – that you stop taking credit and start giving the whole credit to GOD while you remain HIS servant – God’s servant.

“If you feel proud, let it be in the thought that you are the servant of God, the son of God. Great men have the nature of a child. They are always a child before Him; so they are free from pride. All their strength is of God and not their own. It belongs to Him and comes from Him.”
– Ramkrishna Paramhansa

Always remember – a faithful servant of God never retires. He can retire from his career, but he will never retire from serving God.

And to serve God – is by helping those who deserve your. So help those who deserve your help but without having the ego feeding thought that “I am doing”. When you STOP being the doer – only then GOD comes to your life – only then HE takes you in HIS arms.

The deity of Pushya Nakshatra is Brihaspati who is the ANSH – the essence of Lord Vishnu. So reciting “Aum Vishnave Namaha” 108 times using a sphatik japa mala every morning and evening for minimum 20 minutes can help you attain more positive results of Rahu in Pushya Nakshatra.

Love to all my readers – stay blessed and remember – happiness is not readymade – it comes from your own actions. Focus on doing good without feeding your ego – without being the doer and your life will start flowering like a beautiful flower.

Mercury in Pisces: Spiritual Effects

A very significant question considering that Mercury is debilitated in Pisces.

Debilitation – the real meaning of debilitation is that the planet’s influence is LESS. Debilitation means not that the planet is weak – debilitation means the planet is simply incapable of making its FULL INFLUENCE on the native which is good considering that MERCURY is LOGIC – MERCURY is INTELLECTUALISM and INTELLECTUALISM is indeed a poor substitute for INTELLIGENCE.

“Mind is not your intelligence. Mind can be intellectual, which is a very poor substitute for intelligence. Intellectuality is mechanical.”
-OSHO

When Mercury is less – and Jupiter is MORE – when Rahu is less and Ketu is MORE – then you have all the possibilities of attaining spiritual growth. Intelligence comes only from the HEART – and not from the HEAD which is represented by Mercury. And that is why the greatest scientist and the man who also believed in GOD – probably one of its kind – Albert Einstein was born with Mercury in Pisces – and probably there has been no other scientist in this human world other than Einstein who has been so vocal on the significance of consciousness.

“A human being is a part of a whole, called by us ‘universe’, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest… a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” – Albert Einstein

After Albert Einstein – the only scientist who was able to realize the significance of consciousness and spirituality than that was the man named – NIKOLA TESLA.

“THE GIFT OF MENTAL POWER COMES FROM GOD, DIVINE BEING, AND IF WE CONCENTRATE OUR MINDS ON THAT TRUTH, WE BECOME IN TUNE WITH THIS GREAT POWER.”  – NIKOLA TESLA

Albert Einstein – the man born with Pisces Mercury was fond of Nikola Tesla and in 1931 – he writes a letter to Nikola Tesla:

Dear Mr. Tesla,

It is with great joy that I hear you are celebrating your 75th birthday, and as a successful pioneer in the field of high frequency energy you have experienced the miraculous development of this area of technology. Congratulations on the great success of your life’s work.

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein became one of the greatest scientist because he was having his Mercury in Pisces – which ideally means – that LOGIC is LESS and IMAGINATION is more and that’s exactly what Einstein quotes – when he gives more importance to IMAGINATION than to LOGIC.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.”
– Albert Einstein

Only ALBERT EINSTEIN was one such scientist who could realize the significance of IMAGINATION over LOGIC – and that is precisely because his Mercury is in PISCES – debilitated! What a beautiful man he was – one in a million!

Here is a quick look at Albert Einstein’s horoscope – a man who was not just a scientist but also had great faith in God and had realized the significance of spirituality in human life – a time came in his life when he became pure vegetarian.

As you all can see – Einstein’s Mercury is placed in the 10th house in Pisces sign. Mercury in Pisces is very helpful for spiritual growth because it is only when your HEAD takes a backseat that your HEART can takeover and when the HEART takeover – you start realizing the REALITY and it is only the REALITY – the TRUTH which has NO MISERY.

“There are rich miserable people and poor miserable people. And the poor miserable people are trying their hardest to reach somehow to the status of rich miserable people. These are the only two types available. The third type has been completely forgotten. The third is your reality, and it has no misery in it.”
-OSHO

The HEAD cannot let you know the REALITY – it is only your HEART and the way towards your HEART is through the path of meditation and meditation fructifies only when you meditate with LOVE & DEVOTION – when you start walking on the path of BHAKTI – the BHAKTI MARG, BHAKTI-YOGA.

A man or woman who has TOO MUCH OF MERCURY is always on the look out of all kind of fancy YOGAS in astrology – DHANA YOGA (Wealth indicating Yoga) – whereas a man or woman having LESS OF MERCURY and MORE of JUPITER is keen on seeking BHAKTI YOGA (the Yoga that brings more devotion, more love within your being) – that is the difference, the HEAD (Mercury) is behind money and power and fame and mental pleasures – whereas (JUPITER) is more inclined towards that which leads to SELF GROWTH – towards that which remains with you even when you die – when you are no more alive in this human body!

“The individual soul is forever a servant of the Supersoul and therefore, his relationship with the Supersoul is to offer service. That is called
Bhakti-yoga or Bhakti-bhaava ”
-Srimad Bhagavatham,

BHAKTI YOGA or the PATH OF DEVOTION is possible only when your MERCURY (HEAD) is LESS and since Mercury becomes LESS when it falls in PISCES – this placement becomes excellent for spiritual progress.

One of the greatest spiritual master and the man whom I love the most – AVATAR MEHER BABA was also born with Mercury in Pisces.

“I do not attach importance to beliefs or dogmas. It is not what you believe but what you are that will ultimately count.”
-Avatar Meher Baba

Avatar Meher Baba travelled all around the world and he transformed many mad-men into enlightened beings. When his followers asked “Why you seek insane people when sane people are available?”

Baba smiled and said “Because they are already out of their mind but through the wrong door (unconscious way). I just have to show them the right door – the conscious way to get out of the mind however the sane people are too much caught in their head – their logic and so it is far easier to transform a mad man into an enlightened man than a so called SANE MAN who is much caught in his head and in his logic.”

This HEAD – this LOGIC is your MERCURY. That is why all RAHUISH men and RAHUISH woman are attracted by INTELLECTUALISM – since MERCURY is the GURU of RAHU and that is why RAHU is EXALTED in GEMINI – the sign owned by Mercury! Whereas – those few beautiful men and women who are KETUISH – are attracted more towards the GURU – the MASTER because GURU i.e. JUPITER is the GURU of KETU. And therefore KETU is EXALTED in the sign of Jupiterian sign of Sagittarius.

Hazarat Babajan – the greatest Sufi Saint that the world had ever known – transferred her powers to a young Parsi boy – and he must be 12 yrs old at that time – and it was this young Parsi boy who later came to be known as AVATAR MEHER BABA! The story is beautiful and it is REAL. It happened in Pune. It happened with a kiss from Hazrat Babajan.

It happened so that the young Parsi boy (Merwan Sheriar Irani) was just passing, coming back from his school. He must be not more than 12 years old. Hazrat Babajan – was just sitting under a tree for years and years and years. The young Parsi boy (Merwan Sheriar Irani) was just coming, and Babajan called him. He knew this old lady. She was sitting for years under the tree, and he had passed by that street daily on his way towards his school and towards his home. She called and he came near. She kissed him – and he dropped as if dead just there. Then he had to be carried home.

That is how the young Parsi boy ((Merwan Sheriar Irani)- with that divine touch of Hazrat Babajan – went into a coma – because all desires vanished with that one divine kiss – and when there is absolutely NO DESIRE – there is NO ACTION – you almost go into a deep sleep to which the world may address as Coma!

After 1 year of coma, Merwan Sheriar Irani opens his eyes – his eyes are the same but now his perspective towards life has changed – everything around him is the same – but he is no more the same – great spiritual energy – a great light has come to his heart – the transferring has happened – spontaneously – with just one divine kiss – the Hazarat has passed on her ‘self’ to Merwan who later came to be known as AVATAR MEHER BABA – how deep must be the love between them – how deep must be the connection of many past lives between them!

AVATAR MEHER BABA – the man who revolutionized the whole world – traveled around the world – and transformed many mad men into enlightened beings!

“It is a strange world. Here, really great things are never rewarded. Nobody has bothered about Meher Baba. Mother Teresa will get a Nobel prize because she looks after poor orphan children, and nobody thought of giving a Nobel prize to Meher Baba who really did a miraculous job-and he was the only man, after centuries.”
– Osho

Avatar Meher Baba remained silent for most of his life. He never spoke. But without speaking a single word – he transformed many lives.

“Desire nothing except desirelessness. Hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes. Want nothing and you will have everything.”
– Avatar Meher Baba

The question or rather the focus should be on how we can focus within. TOO MUCH OF MERCURY always moves your attention outward and LESS OF MERCURY with the right support of JUPITER and KETU always moves you WITHIN – therefore Mercury in PISCES is excellent for spiritual progress because when the HEAD is LESS – you will stop AGREEING and DISAGREEING and you will simply let the words of the master penetrate your being – and it is these words – it these beautiful divine words of the master that can bring inner transformation – and real growth begins only when you start transforming within.

Here is a quick look at the birth chart of the greatest spiritual master that the world had ever known – AVATAR MEHER BABA:

As you can see – in Avatar Meher Baba’s birth chart Mercury is placed in Pisces. While Sun and Venus is in the 8th house – the most significant house when it comes to spirituality and spiritual progress.

Today a whole town is named after Avatar Meher Baba – it is named as MEHERABAD – and it is around 25 km away from the city of Ahmednagar, Maharashtra.

Avatar Meher Baba – the man who lived with Sai Baba of Shirdi, and the man who once walked on this planet. I humbly prostrate before His Holiness Avatar Meher Baba – a perfect example of Pisces Mercury.

“Do not listen to the voice of the mind. Listen to the voice of the heart. The mind wavers, the heart does not. The mind is the home of doubts, reasoning and theories. The heart when purified becomes the dwelling of the Beloved. Rid your heart of low desires, malice, selfishness and God will manifest in you as your true self.”
– Avatar Meher Baba

God experience is possible only when you are REBORN. That’s what Jesus says to Nicodemus when Nicodemus comes to meet Jesus on a dark night. He comes and asks Jesus “How to experience God?” And Jesus says “To experience God – you have to reborn.”

Nicodemus is a very old man – he must be 80 yrs old – he asks “What do you mean when you say REBORN?”

Jesus says “Reborn means dropping all your learning, your scholarship, your head – your Ego – it is the death of your material life and the birth of your spiritual life.”

My fellows – debilitated planet in an evolved soul’s birth chart therefore works wonders because it is a sign that the qualities of that planet are no more required – the soul has moved on – the journey has begin – the journey within and NOW there is NO LOOKING BACK.

Love to all my readers, keep walking towards your heart – because your heart is beautiful – your heart knows the language – the language of SILENCE.

Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada

Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada can be described in one word – a preacher. The word preacher is very significant – because you preach a certain thing only when you yourself believe in what you preach – when you yourself walk the talk.

WALK THE TALK – is therefore a trademark of Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada natives. They are faithful people, firm God believers and also take great interest in rituals and remedies that can help them live a better quality of life.

Quality of life is NOT based on how much money you have in your bank account or which car you drive – quality of life is simply based on the quality of your thoughts. Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada natives take great efforts in raising the quality of their thoughts.

“The quality of your thinking determines the quality of your life.”
-A R. Bernard

Influenced by the sign lord – Jupiter and Nakshatra Lord – Saturn – Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada does bring a certain depth of understanding to the native – the native therefore does well as a preacher, teacher or if the native is an evolved soul then he also can become a great spiritual master!

That reminds me of Osho Rajneesh.

“The moment you accept yourself, you become beautiful.”
-Osho

Osho had Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra and interestingly his RISE to FAME and FALL from FAME – both happened during his RAHU MAHADASHA!

Interestingly – Osho’s maximum discourses and books happened during his RAHU MAHADASHA. However imprisonment, downfall from fame, many allegations of corruption and tax fraud also happened during the last ten years of his Rahu Mahadasha. Some interesting events that happened during his RAHU MAHADASHA are as follows:

Osho’s Rahu Mahadasha tenure: 1967-1985 * age 35 to age 54

October 1970 – Osho’s Nani (grandmother dies). Most of his childhood days were spent at his Nani’s house.

March 1971 – Osho begins to use the self-title of Bhagwan Shri Rajneesh

Sep-1979 – Osho’s father died

March 1981 – Osho suffers from severe back pain

June 1981 to June 1985 – The most notorious time in the life of Bhagawan Osho – this is the time when the famous eastern Oregon ashrama-compound named Rajneeshpuram started. Many scandals, and crime took place during this time. Of course Osho was innocent and he had nothing to do with the politics of the Ashram – but the whole setup in the US was so bogus that it affected Osho’s health as well as his reputation in the US and India.

September 1985 – Osho’s Managers – the one who run the whole show in the Oregon Ashram in the US – abandoned him – since the US Court had filed case for immigration crimes conspiracy and felony tax fraud

30-Sep-1985 – Osho publicly proclaimed that he was no longer a spiritual teacher. 30 thousand copies of books of Osho’s teachings were mass-burned by his Oregon-commune devotees.

October 1985 – the Oregon Commune is destroyed

November 1985 – Osho was arrested by the US officials on charges of Immigration Law violations and Tax Fraud.

So you see – this is how RAHU MAHADASHA is. That someone as beautiful and as great preacher as OSHO also couldn’t escape from the clutches of Rahu – by the end of his Rahu Mahadasaha – Osho was arrested by the US Marshall on charges of Immigration Law violations and Tax Fraud which his managers did – while he was actually innocent but still he had to pay for the acts of his managers and followers.

In 1986 – as his Jupiter Mahadasha begin – he was released from the jail and finally he returned back to Pune, India from where he started his second innings though he didn’t lived for long – in 1990 at the age of 53 – Osho died. The words inscribed at his memorial says:

Never Born – Never Died Only visited this planet Earth between December 11, 1931 and January 19, 1990

A beautiful man who once walked on this planet – Osho Rajneesh – a man who had Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra!

Osho – without any doubt was indeed a great soul but whenever you start any Ashram – you often are caught in these kind of scenarios – if are not able to remain ALERT. Even a great soul like OSHO was not able to remain alert during his Rahu Mahadasha and so the downfall – the imprisonment – the corruption – fraud charges were levied upon him and finally the destruction of the whole Ashram in Oregon, US.

Interestingly my father had met Osho in Mumbai. It was before he travelled to the US, before he became Bhagavan Rajneesh. Since my father was a very famous journalist of his times – he gave much coverage to Osho in his magazine which was one of the best selling magazines of those times. Osho indeed was a blessed man but attraction towards FAME – and POPULARITY is a trademark of RAHU and so even he was not saved from falling for this temptation and that eventually became the reason for his sufferings during Rahu Mahadasha.

Teaching, Preaching, Educating – these are the most significant traits that these natives like and if the quality of their birth chart is good then they also excel in these professions.

Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada is more positive for natives born on:

  • Capricorn Ascendant
  • Libra Ascendant
  • Taurus Ascendant
  • Gemini Ascendant

Osho – was a famous University Professor before becoming a self-declared God man. He was born on Taurus Ascendant – and so RAHU and RAHU MAHADASHA became instrumental in bringing World Fame as well as downfall in his life.

The Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town and Noble Prize winner – Reverend Desmond Mpilo Tutu also had Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada. He was indeed a great preacher.

“When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said “Let us pray.” We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land.”
– Bishop Desmond Tutu

A preacher knows how to protect his followers, his men. Protecting, safeguarding is the very nature of Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra and Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada simply makes the native too protective of his people. The deity of Uttara Bhadrapada is Ahir Budhyana (Water Serpent of the Deep Seas) and Ahir Budhyana is also regarded as the guardian of treasures. So the very nature of guarding, protecting fellowmen comes naturally to Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra natives.

See how the development of Saturn’s Nakshatras take place – in Pushya Rahu is focused on bringing reforms, in Anuradha Rahu is focused on bringing transformations and now – in Uttara Bhadrapada Rahu is focused on Preaching. It is only when you go through transformation that you evolve, you mature, you become wise and then you naturally become a preacher who wants to share the many treasures of wisdom that he has attained through his whole journey of transformation!

“THE WORK OF PREACHING IS THE HIGHEST AND GREATEST AND MOST GLORIOUS CALLING TO WHICH ANYONE CAN EVER BE CALLED.”
-MARTYN LLOYD-JONES

A good preacher is always sharing freely & openly. Only that man can share who has and only that man has who goes on sharing selflessly! Rahu Uttara Bhadrapada natives are good preachers because they are open minded – the love to share – they are not those typical stingy men – they are understanding – they are social – and they believe in the fact that – SHARING is CARING.

Reminds me of a beautiful Sufi story. There was a man – a very poor man. He was a woodcutter and he lived with his wife in a small hut. The hut was so small that he and his wife could sleep …only that much space was in the hut. In the middle of one dark night, it was raining hard and somebody knocked on the door. The wife was sleeping close to the door. The husband said to the wife, “Open the door. The rain is too much and the man must have lost his way. It is a dark night and the forest is dangerous and full of wild animals. Open the door immediately!”
She said, “But there is no space.” The man laughed and said, “This is not a palace of a king, where you will always find a shortage of space. This is a poor man’s hut. Two can sleep well; three can sit. We will create space. Just open the door.”
And the door was opened. The man came in and he was very grateful and they all sat and started talking and gossiping and telling stories to each other. The night had to be passed somehow because they could not sleep; there was no space. And just then, another knock ….

The man, the new guest, was now sitting by the side of the door. The owner of the hut said, “Friend, open the door. Somebody else is lost.” And the man said, “You seem to be a very strange fellow. There is no space.”
He said, “This was my wife’s argument too. If I had listened to her argument, you would have been in the forest, eaten by the wild animals. And you seem to be a strange man that you cannot understand that we are sitting just because of you. We are tired after a long day. I am a woodcutter — the whole day I cut the wood and then sell it in the market and then we can hardly get food once a day. Open the door. This is not your hut. If three persons can sit comfortably, four persons can sit a little closer, with a little less comfort. But we will create the space.”
Naturally he had to open the door, although reluctantly. And a man entered and he was very grateful. Now they were sitting very close; there was not even a single inch of space left. And then suddenly, a strange knock, which did not seem to be a man’s! There was silence from all three; the wife and the two guests were afraid that he would say open the door.
And he said it. “Open the door. I know who is knocking. It is my donkey. In this wide world he is my only friend. I carry my wood on that donkey. He remains outside, but it is raining too much. Open the door.”
And now it was the fourth guest to be allowed in, and everybody resisted and they said, “This is too much. Where is the donkey going to stand?”
This man said, “You don’t understand. It is a poor man’s hut, it is always spacious. Right now we are sitting; when the donkey comes in we will all be standing and we will keep the donkey in the middle so he feels warm and cozy and loved.”
They said, “It was better to get lost in the jungle, rather than to be caught in your hut.”
But nothing could be done. When the owner said to open the door, the door was opened.
And the donkey came in. The water was dripping from all over his body and the owner took him into the middle and told all the others to stand around. He said, “You don’t understand. My donkey is of a very philosophical mind. You can say anything, he is never disturbed. He always listens silently.”

The poor man was truly a RICH MAN. He was poor, he had just a small hut, but his HEART was so full of LOVE, COMPASSION & he provides shelter to humans and animal – in his small hut – there is no discrimination, there is no reservation, there is no selfishness – he is simply happy to share – to give shelter to those who are in dire need.

There are many men and women who have a BIG FAT BANK BALANCE – they have lots of money – but they are NOT rich because they are TOO SELFISH, TOO CELF CENTERED, TOO STINGY. In Hindi there is a perfect word that describes such men and women – the word is PAISEWALA (meaning a man having lots of money – hard cash). But such a man only has money – money – money and just money. He is NOT rich in the true sense – because to become RICH — you need a HEART that beats with compassion – a HEART that feels more – a HEART that can understand the pain of OTHERS. Only such a man is truly RICH – he comes rushing towards those who need his help – who need his support.

In Pune – the powerful rulers – the PESHWAS were addressed as SHRIMANT PESHWA. SHRIMANT means RICH – one who is a GIVER – a PROVIDER – one who is compassionate and willing to SHARE the wealth for the benefit of the society – the people. In the same city of Pune – the famous DAGDUSHETH GANAPATI is also addressed as SHRIMANT DAGDUSHETH GANAPATI – because HE fulfils the desires of his devotees – HE has a VERY LARGE HEART. I prostrate before the most revered Lord Ganesha in Pune – SHRIMANT DAGDUSHETH GANAPATI.

Uttara Bhadrapad is such a SHRIMANT (RICH) Nakshatra. Because this Nakshatra is the PEAK POINT of SATURN’s maturity. It is here that a Preacher is born. It is here that a great spiritual master Osho is born. It is here that a great priest and reverend Bishop Desmond Tutu is born!

And when it comes to preaching – how can we miss the politicians? To become a great preacher – you need command over your language, your vocabulary – your speech. And giving great speech is indeed very instrumental when it comes to making a great political career!

And so we have great US Presidents – such as POTUS William Howard, POTUS Richard Nixon, POTUS Gerald R. Ford.

Some great Hollywood Actresses – Elizabeth Taylor and Jennifer Aniston – are also born with Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra. The very presence of RAHU in a spiritual Nakshatra of Uttara Bhadrapada – makes the native more spiritual and less religious.

“I don’t have a religion. I believe in a God. I don’t know what it looks like but it’s MY god. My own interpretation of the supernatural”- Jennifer Aniston

Attaining Liberation, Moksha is what these natives ultimate goal is – and as they grow they realize that liberation is possible only through the spiritual path and NOT the religious path. They realize that GOD has NO religion – they realize that RELIGION and SPIRITUALITY are two ends that can never meet – you either are RELIGIOUS or you either are SPIRITUAL – you cannot be both.

Once it happened. A man came and asked Buddha ” Is there a God?

Buddha answered ” NO – there is no God.”

Another man came and asked Buddha “What do you think of God? Is there any God?

Buddha answered “YES – there is GOD.”

Late evening an old man came and said ” There are people who believe in God and people who don’t, I myself need to know if God exists, please help me.”

Buddha did not speak – instead he gave the answer through his actions. Buddha sat beneath the tree, closed his eyes and went into deep meditation. The old man thought that this must be the answer – so he too sat down, closed his eyes and started meditating. After a while the old man opened his eyes, touched the feet of Buddha and said ” Your compassion is great. You have given me the answer. I will always remain obliged to you.” Happily he left.

Ananda asked Buddha ” To the first man you answered – God doesn’t exist. To the second man you answered “God exists.” And to the last man – you said nothing but just went into meditation. I don’t understand your answers – please help me understand.”

Buddha smiled and said ” The first and the second man just wanted an answer – they were not seekers. The last man was a seeker – he wanted to ‘experience’ God and not just ‘know’. He was able to ‘relate’ – he was a seeker.

Buddha therefore says to his disciples “Never give your precious time to GOD BELIEVERS – because they just believe – they are not willing to jump and experience themselves – they just want some messiah on which they can rely – without taking any efforts on their part. And so never entertain GOD BELIEVERS – instead give your time to those who are SEEKERS – who are willing to TAKE EFFORTS – who are willing to ASK “Show me how to experience GOD.” “

Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada brings great potential to make you a SEEKER and NOT just a believer.

“Buddha says – ‘Truth is not transferable. I cannot give you the truth; nobody else can give it to you. But you can attain it on your own.” You have to seek, Buddha wants seekers and the seeker is a totally different phenomenon. The believer is not a seeker. The believer wants to avoid everything, that’s why he believes. The believer is always in search of a messiah, somebody who can chew for him. But if I eat, your hunger is not going to be satisfied. Nobody can save you except yourself. You have to be a seeker and not a believer.” – Osho

And that is message to all natives having Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra – that continue to SEEK – continue to show the courage in exploring the beyond – the unseen – continue to practice meditation.

To seek the blessings of Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra – plant a Mango tree or donate mangoes to the poor. Because MANGO TREE is the tree that comes under Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra! Mango is symbolic representation of SWEETNESS, ROYAL life. The more you worship the Mango tree the more you will continue to excel in your career and your life will become richer from all angles – spiritual, and material.

I humbly prostrate before the Nakshatra of wisdom, prosperity and maturity – Uttara Bhadrapada. May HIS blessings shower upon me and all my readers and followers.

Always remember – the more conscious you are of your KARMA – the more you are going to evolve as a person and the more you evolve as a person the more you are going to succeed in your life. It is all inter connected – it is all Linked-In.

The key therefore is in raising your awareness – as awareness grows – LOVE grows within YOU – you become more compassionate – more understanding – more forgiving.

“”IF YOU CAN GROW IN LOVE, YOU WILL GROW IN AWARENESS. IF YOU GROW IN AWARENESS, YOU WILL GROW IN LOVE…” – OSHO

So focus on LOVE – focus on raising your AWARENESS. The world is filled with people who HATE more and LOVE less – and therefore we have more miseries and less happiness in life. But you can change your life – you can raise the quality of your life – only if you are willing to drop all the hatred in your heart and focus on following the PATH of LOVE – the PATH of DEVOTION – Bhakti Marga.

“The Supreme Personality of Godhead cannot be understood by any means except bhakti.”

I am a friend of all those beautiful souls who are walking on the path of BHAKTI – Path of Devotion. To such beautiful souls – I want to say: “Keep walking – you are on the RIGHT TRACK.”

Love is the way – the only way that can bring peace to your heart – the only way that can help you reach GOD with much ease.

“Lots of ways to reach GOD,
I Choose LOVE.”
-Rumi

Bhakti Marga – Devotional Path – that is the Path of Kabir, that is the Path of Jesus, that is the Path of Krishna, that is the Path of Rama, that is the Path of Buddha, that is the Path of Guru Nanak and that can become your path as well – only if you are willing to take the first step….

Love.
