Namaste my beloved friends.
When I landed for the first time in the US in the year 2006, I was not aware that most people eat a lot of non-veg, and so wherever I would go it was difficult for me because I am a pure vegetarian and I eat no eggs as well.
So I don’t eat eggs and I’m a pure vegetarian, and hence it was a problem for me to find pure vegetarian food because in the US the idea of vegetarian is also very different. They even consider chicken soup as vegetarian. So it was a difficult thing for me in the very beginning.
But then within a day or two, I met an Indian friend who had been staying in the US for a long time. He said to me that henceforth whenever you go for ordering food, always say no egg, no flesh, no meat. Then they will understand what exactly to serve you.
And this is the message to all those who are going through Rahu Mahadasha. No egg, no flesh, no meat. Become pure vegetarian just like me. I am anyhow a vegetarian from birth. But if you are a non-vegetarian, then you need to take some efforts in order to avoid the malefic effects of Rahu Mahadasha.
Along with these insights, I’m also sharing many more remedies and guidelines for each antardasha that falls within Rahu Mahadasha. So I will take one by one — Rahu Rahu, Rahu Guru, Rahu Shani, Rahu Budha, Rahu Ketu, Rahu Shukra, Rahu Ravi, Rahu Chandra and Rahu Mangala. And that’s it. And then you are done with Rahu Mahadasha.
Rahu simply blocks your consciousness, your awareness. When the Rahu Mahadasha begins, you fall into many traps because you cannot see. You become blind. Blind meaning the dust of ignorance covers your eyes and you cannot make out what is right and what is wrong in your life.
Have you ever tried putting your little finger before your eyes? Try it and you will see that one little finger blocks the whole world. You cannot see anything because the finger has blocked your vision.
Similarly, Rahu blocks your vision. It is a very unfortunate event for a senior executive such as managing director, CEO or COO because they are hired to provide vision to the organization. And if they themselves are going through Rahu Mahadasha, then how can they provide vision when they themselves have become blind?
You will be surprised to know that nowadays while hiring CEOs and COOs, large Indian organizations request the birth details of the candidate before finalizing the appointment. And you will be shocked to know that a few candidates for such top positions have been rejected simply because they were running through Rahu Mahadasha.
During Rahu Mahadasha, some earn money and fame, but by the time Rahu Mahadasha is over, they end up losing everything they had earned. Because Rahu creates illusion and whatever he offers during his tenure is like smoke — and smoke does not stay for long. It fades away.
Interestingly, Osho Rajneesh was arrested, imprisoned and forced to leave the United States during his Rahu Mahadasha. He attained fame during the beginning of Rahu Mahadasha and suffered greatly by the end of it.
Osho was indeed a great soul, an honest fellow. But the politics of his ashram and his managers ultimately caused great embarrassment leading to his imprisonment. He was later released, returned to India and established his ashram in Pune which came to be known as Osho Ashram.
So loss of dear ones, loss of property and loss of happiness are often seen during Rahu Mahadasha. Osho lost his grandmother and his father during his Rahu Mahadasha.
At the age of 14, I lost my father who once was the most famous journalist and novelist of his time. Long before my father died, my mother had left me when I was just 4 years old.
With no father and no mother, my journey of life began at the age of 14, exactly when I was in the middle of Rahu Mahadasha.
Rahu leaves no one. Suffering is the second word for Rahu Mahadasha.
If you are an evolved soul, if you are making efforts to turn inward, if you are faithful, if you are a man of heart, and most importantly if you are a grateful person, then the difficult period of Rahu Mahadasha becomes the core foundation of your life on which you build the grand tower of your success.
Now we will see what happens during the antardashas of Rahu Mahadasha.
Rahu antardasha — the Rahu Rahu period.
In this period you suffer a lot. This is the most unfortunate time of your life. Although you may get married or get a job or earn some money, there will still be an absence of happiness. Like a lunatic, you roam from one temple to another seeking answers, but you do not find solutions.
And if your horoscope is weak, you may get trapped in scams or scandals or people may cheat you without you realizing it until this antardasha is over. This is a period when desires drive you crazy. And in this craziness, you commit mistakes — some serious mistakes for which you pay heavily later.
And then comes Rahu Guru antardasha.
Guru signifies vivek, meaning consciousness — the moral sense of right and wrong. Rahu attacks this very moral sense. Thus there is a high possibility of unethical actions, extramarital affairs, financial scams and exploitation of subordinates. The smoke of Rahu clouds morality.
This is also a sensitive period for black magic attacks because black magic first blocks moral awareness. If your dasha itself is Rahu Guru, the damage becomes easier.
Loss or harm to father is often seen because father is the first Guru.
Then comes Rahu Shani antardasha. Saturn signifies judgment. During this period, wrong judgments lead to wrong decisions, chronic health issues, bone-related problems, injustice, frustration, depression and even indulgence in bad karma are seen.
Then comes Rahu Budha antardasha. When downfall approaches, thinking goes wrong. Badha, black magic, miscommunication, divorce, manipulation and exploitation are common. One becomes rigid — my way or the highway — leading to failures.
Then comes Rahu Ketu antardasha. Ketu is spiritual. But during this phase, introspection vanishes. One forgets meditation, higher knowledge, dharma, rituals and becomes mechanical, robotic. The human touch is lost.
Then comes Rahu Shukra antardasha. Love affairs, sexual temptations, obsession, cheating, extramarital relationships and emotional downfall. This period is intense and dangerous if the chart is weak.
Then comes Rahu Ravi antardasha. The most dangerous period. Ego explodes, scandals, framing, punishment, exposure, health issues and conflicts with authority — all of this can occur.
Then comes Rahu Chandra antardasha. Mind becomes the master. Doubt, fear, insecurity, imagination, jealousy, sexual hunger, misuse of authority and emotional chaos. This is the final storm of Rahu Mahadasha.
And then comes the final phase of Rahu Mangala antardasha. Many passionate relationships happen during this period which are purely based on satisfying your sexual hunger. Infatuation is common during these times. Mars signifies sexual energy. Rahu is desire.
So desire for sexual satisfaction wells up strongly during this period. Alongside this, misuse of authority and misuse of higher position is very common. If the horoscope is weak, then often one ends up exploiting subordinates.
Feeling demotivated is also often seen during this period. Overall, this is the last stage of Rahu Mahadasha. The native has already gone through many damages, and with this final phase, completes the long 18-year journey of Rahu Mahadasha.
And now that you have understood these 18 years, for the benefit of my close followers, I will share these powerful remedies to overcome Rahu Mahadasha.
Change your diet. Become pure vegetarian. Avoid garlic and onion.
Visit a Goshala and feed cows on Wednesdays.
Visit Lord Vishnu or Krishna temple on Wednesdays.
Remove clothes that are older than one year and bring in fresh clothing.
Visit the samadhi mandir of a spiritual master on Thursdays and sit in prayer.
Wear Sulemani Hakik.
Avoid pumpkin and fried food.
Visit your Kula Devata every year.
Wear yellow sapphire in gold.
Do loban daily at home or burn dried coconut pieces using ghee and kapur. This pacifies Rahu.
Chant the mantra “Om Namo Narayanaya” using a sphatik japamala.
If you follow these remedies, you will feel a positive change.

I have lost my father and my home during Rahu Mahadasha. I understand the pain. But if you remain truthful, patient, faithful, grateful and avoid evil practices, you will sail through. The scars you receive will keep you humble.
Buddha said Ananda was his favorite because he never complained. Gratitude makes you dear to God.
Remember, the teacher is silent during the test.
God is silent, not absent. Let your faith be bigger than your fear.
Live with shraddha and saburi, says Sai Baba. Metal shines only after it goes through fire. Suffering burns ego and expands consciousness.
Rahu Mahadasha transforms you either upward or downward. What you become depends on what you choose.
Love is the strongest medicine. Choose love over hate.
Meditate daily and ensure that you follow a consistent prayerful life during Rahu Mahadasha.
