The most dangerous eclipse is not always the eclipse that you can see with your eyes. Sometimes, the more dangerous eclipse is the one that silently enters your mind — and you don’t even realize what is happening to you.
On 28th August 2026, a highly intense Partial Lunar Eclipse is going to take place.
Astronomically, the overall eclipse begins with the penumbral phase at approximately 6:54 AM IST, the actual partial eclipse begins around 8:04 AM, reaches its maximum at approximately 9:43 AM, and the entire penumbral phenomenon ends around 12:32 PM IST.
But this Lunar Eclipse will not be visible from India, because during the important phases of the eclipse, the Moon will already be below the horizon for most of India. NASA also places the main visibility of this eclipse across the Americas, Europe, Africa and parts of Western Asia.
And I know exactly what many people will say.
“Acharyaji, if the Lunar Eclipse is not visible in India, then why should people living in India bother about it?”
And my answer is very simple.
Because everything that influences you does not necessarily have to be visible to you.
You cannot see gravity.
You cannot see thoughts.
You cannot see emotions.
You cannot see fear.
You cannot see love.
And yet all of them have tremendous power over human life.
There are many cosmic phenomena that cannot be witnessed through our naked eyes from a particular geographical location, and therefore, from a purely spiritual and astrological perspective, I would never say that because an eclipse is not visible in India, it becomes completely irrelevant to people living in India.
That would be like living in a fool’s paradise.
And always remember this beautiful wisdom:
“For one who has conquered the mind, the mind becomes the greatest friend; but for one who has failed to do so, the same mind can become the greatest enemy.”
That is exactly why I want you to be especially mindful during this Lunar Eclipse.
Because this eclipse is taking place in the zodiac sign of Aquarius, in the mysterious Shatabhisha Nakshatra.
And Shatabhisha itself is a deeply fascinating Nakshatra.
It is connected with healing, secrecy, isolation, hidden wounds, research, mysteries and things that are not immediately visible on the surface.
And its planetary lord is none other than Rahu.
Now imagine the symbolism.
The Moon represents your mind, emotions, inner peace, psychological comfort and emotional security.
And during this eclipse, the Moon comes into the powerful Rahu influence in Aquarius.
What does Rahu do?
Rahu magnifies.
A small doubt can suddenly look like a big problem.
A small misunderstanding can suddenly become a major argument.
One negative thought can produce another negative thought…
…and another…
…and before you realize it, the mind has created an entire story which may have very little connection with reality.
That is why during the eclipse week — particularly from approximately 26th August to 30th August — I would advise everyone to become more conscious of their thoughts.
And if your Moon sign, Ascendant or Sun sign is Aquarius, then astrologically this eclipse deserves even greater attention from you.
Aquarius natives should especially avoid unnecessary arguments, emotional reactions, impulsive decisions and excessive overthinking during this period.
Because when Moon meets Rahu, the greatest danger is sometimes not outside you.
The greatest danger can be the story being created inside your own mind.
And this is where spiritual awareness becomes extremely important.
Kabir beautifully reminds us:
“Mann ke haare haar hai, mann ke jeete jeet.”
If the mind accepts defeat, you have already lost.
If the mind remains centered, aware and connected with the Divine, even the most difficult phase can be crossed.
Now I want to mention something extremely important.
If you are already undergoing treatment for anxiety, depression, panic attacks or any serious mental-health condition, please do not stop your medicines or treatment because of any astrological advice.
Continue your medication exactly as advised by your doctor.
Protect your sleep.
Avoid excessive social-media consumption.
Avoid unnecessary confrontation.
Stay around people whom you trust.
And if at any point you experience severe emotional distress or thoughts of harming yourself, do not treat those thoughts as an astrological prediction or destiny. Seek professional medical help immediately and speak to someone you trust.
Spirituality should always support healing — never replace necessary medical care.
Now there is another dimension of this eclipse that I want you to understand.
Rahu has the tendency to magnify whatever already exists.
A small crack in a relationship can suddenly start appearing like a huge wall.
A minor disagreement between husband and wife can suddenly become an ego battle.
A simple misunderstanding between business partners can suddenly become suspicion.
And suspicion is one of Rahu’s favorite weapons.
Rahu whispers:
“What if he is lying?”
“What if she is hiding something?”
“What if everybody is against me?”
And once you start feeding those thoughts, the mind becomes restless.
That is why my advice during this eclipse is very simple:
DO NOT REACT IMMEDIATELY.
Something irritates you?
Wait.
Someone sends you an unpleasant message?
Wait.
Your spouse says something hurtful?
Wait.
Your boss behaves badly?
Wait.
Because sometimes silence for twelve hours can save a relationship of twelve years.
And that one line itself can become your greatest remedy during this eclipse.
Now many of you also ask me about black magic and negative energies during eclipse periods.
From a spiritual perspective, people who already believe they are experiencing such negativity may feel their fear, suspicion, restlessness or interpersonal tensions becoming much stronger during an intense period.
And that is precisely why I repeatedly tell you:
Do not feed fear. Feed faith.
Because whether the negativity is coming from outside or whether fear itself is magnifying what you are experiencing, your response should remain the same:
Stay calm. Stay prayerful. Stay silent. Stay centered.
Remember—
Darkness does not disappear by fighting with darkness.
You light a lamp.
Similarly, never fight fear with more fear.
Fight fear with awareness, prayer, discipline and faith.
Therefore, on 28th August, I would personally suggest avoiding unnecessary crowds and unnecessary social engagements if you are already emotionally disturbed or undergoing a difficult period.
You don’t have to lock yourself inside your house because there is an eclipse.
That is not what I am saying.
But there is absolutely nothing wrong in spending one day more consciously.
Avoid crowded malls if you don’t need to go.
Avoid unnecessary gatherings.
Avoid heated conversations.
Avoid long-distance travel unless necessary.
And if your work permits and you already know that your professional environment is highly stressful, working quietly from home may help you remain more centered.
However, if you have to go to office, then go.
Do your work sincerely.
Talk less. Observe more.
Do not argue with your boss.
Do not react to provocative colleagues.
Do not gossip.
Do not send angry emails.
And most importantly—
Do not make permanent decisions while experiencing temporary emotions.
Because every eclipse eventually passes.
Every storm eventually moves away.
Every night eventually meets the morning.
As the ancient wisdom reminds us:
“This too shall pass.”
And astrologically, much will also depend upon your individual horoscope.
Your current Mahadasha…
Your Antardasha…
The house in which Aquarius falls…
The condition of your natal Moon…
The position of Rahu…
And the houses activated by your running planetary period.
If you are already passing through a challenging Mahadasha or Antardasha, then this eclipse period may feel psychologically or circumstantially heavier.
Whereas for another person, the very same eclipse may simply bring introspection, realization and an opportunity to finally let go of something that had been troubling the mind for a very long time.
So never forget:
An eclipse does not write your destiny in one morning.
Your consciousness matters.
Your choices matter.
Your karma matters.
Your prayers matter.
And above everything—
Your response matters.
So now, my dear friends, let us quickly understand how this powerful 28th August Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius and Shatabhisha Nakshatra may influence each of the twelve zodiac signs…
What you need to be careful about…
What you should avoid…
And most importantly, what spiritual precautions and remedies you can follow to remain peaceful, protected and positive during this highly sensitive eclipse phase.
And therefore…
Let us begin with Aries.
ARIES
For Aries natives, this Lunar Eclipse will take place in your 11th house — the house of income, gains, friendships, social circles, elder siblings, fulfilment of desires and professional networks.
So during the eclipse phase, especially from 26th to 30th August, avoid taking impulsive financial decisions, lending large amounts of money, unnecessary speculation or entering into arguments with friends, colleagues or elder siblings. Be especially careful about social-media communication, group politics and misunderstandings within your professional network.
Do not become disturbed if an expected payment, business response or professional opportunity gets temporarily delayed. Rahu can magnify expectations and then create unnecessary disappointment.
On 28th August, keep your food very light and sattvic. Avoid heavy, oily, non-vegetarian food and alcohol. Prefer fruits, simple khichdi, light meals and sufficient water.
For spiritual protection, worship Maa Durga, who gives strength to overcome fear, confusion and Rahu-related negativity.
Chant:
“OM DUM DURGAYE NAMAHA”
108 times during the eclipse day.
And remember, Aries — not every delay is a denial, and not every disagreement needs your reaction. Sometimes your greatest protection is silence.
TAURUS
For Taurus natives, this Lunar Eclipse will take place in your 10th house — the house of career, profession, authority, reputation, status and your relationship with seniors and bosses.
So during the eclipse phase, especially from 26th to 30th August, remain extremely careful in your professional dealings. Avoid arguments with your boss, senior management, clients or authority figures. Do not resign impulsively, send angry emails or make any major career decision under emotional pressure.
There may also be unnecessary confusion regarding your professional image or reputation, so stay away from office politics, gossip and controversial conversations. Let your work speak more than your words.
On 28th August, keep your food very light and sattvic. Avoid heavy, oily, spicy food, non-vegetarian food and alcohol. Prefer fruits, simple khichdi or easily digestible homemade food.
For spiritual protection and mental stability, worship Lord Shiva, the Divine force that calms the restless mind and helps us rise above fear and emotional turbulence.
Chant:
“OM NAMAH SHIVAYA”
108 times on the eclipse day.
And remember, Taurus — one moment of anger can damage a reputation built over many years. During this eclipse, remain calm, remain humble and allow silence to become your strength.
GEMINI
For Gemini natives, this Lunar Eclipse will take place in your 9th house — the house of fortune, father, Guru, higher wisdom, long-distance travel, higher education, beliefs and divine grace.
So during the eclipse phase, especially from 26th to 30th August, avoid unnecessary arguments with your father, Guru, mentor or senior family members. Be careful while travelling long distances, and do not make impulsive decisions connected with education, legal matters, foreign travel or major life direction.
You may temporarily feel that luck is not supporting you, or you may begin questioning your faith, your path or the advice of someone you have always trusted. Do not allow one difficult moment to make you lose faith in the entire journey. Rahu can create doubt where there was once clarity.
On 28th August, keep your food very light and sattvic. Avoid heavy, oily, non-vegetarian food and alcohol. Prefer fruits, simple khichdi, light homemade food and sufficient water.
For spiritual protection and right guidance, worship Lord Vishnu, who represents preservation, wisdom and the protection of Dharma.
Chant:
“OM NAMO BHAGAVATE VASUDEVAYA”
108 times on the eclipse day.
And remember, Gemini — when the road ahead looks uncertain, do not abandon your faith. Sometimes the Divine changes your direction only to protect your destination.
CANCER
For Cancer natives, this Lunar Eclipse will take place in your 8th house — the house of sudden events, hidden matters, transformation, joint finances, inheritance, secrets and deep psychological changes.
So during the eclipse phase, especially from 26th to 30th August, remain extra cautious. Avoid unnecessary risks, rash driving, heated confrontations and impulsive financial decisions involving loans, taxes, insurance, inheritance or joint money. Also avoid digging into secrets or suspicious matters that may unnecessarily disturb your peace of mind.
Emotionally, this eclipse can make you more sensitive, fearful or doubtful than usual. Do not allow temporary anxiety to convince you that something terrible is about to happen. The 8th house often transforms us by forcing us to release what we can no longer control.
On 28th August, keep your food very light and sattvic. Avoid heavy, oily, non-vegetarian food and alcohol. Prefer fruits, simple khichdi or easily digestible homemade food, and remain properly hydrated.
For protection, healing and inner strength, worship Lord Shiva and chant the sacred Shiva Mantra:
“OM NAMAHA SHIVAYA”
Chant it 108 times on the eclipse day.
And remember, Cancer — do not fear every sudden change. Sometimes what appears to be an ending is simply the Divine clearing the way for a new beginning.
LEO
For Leo natives, this Lunar Eclipse will take place in your 7th house — the house of marriage, spouse, relationships, business partnerships, contracts and public dealings.
So during the eclipse phase, especially from 26th to 30th August, be extremely careful in your close relationships. Avoid unnecessary arguments with your spouse, partner or business associate, and do not allow a small misunderstanding to become a major conflict. Rahu can magnify suspicion, ego clashes and emotional reactions, so think twice before you speak.
This is also not the best time to make an impulsive decision about marriage, separation, partnership or an important contract. If something disturbs you, give yourself time before reacting. Sometimes one harsh sentence can create a wound that takes months to heal.
On 28th August, keep your food very light and sattvic. Avoid heavy, oily, spicy food, non-vegetarian food and alcohol. Prefer fruits, simple khichdi or light homemade food, and remain properly hydrated.
For protection from conflict, fear and negative thoughts, worship Lord Ram and Lord Krishna and chant:
“OM RAM KRISHNA HARI”
108 times on the eclipse day.
And remember, Leo — during this eclipse, winning an argument is far less important than protecting a relationship. Control the ego, control the tongue, and allow patience to become your greatest strength.
VIRGO
For Virgo natives, this Lunar Eclipse will take place in your 6th house — the house of health, enemies, competition, debts, disputes, daily work routine and hidden opposition.
So during the eclipse phase, especially from 26th to 30th August, take extra care of your physical and mental health. Avoid overworking, unnecessary stress and getting pulled into arguments with colleagues, employees or people who are already hostile towards you. Do not react to provocation — because during this phase, a small workplace disagreement can easily become a much bigger issue.
Also remain disciplined regarding debts, loans, legal matters and pending disputes. Do not create a new problem merely because you are trying to solve an old one in haste.
On 28th August, keep your food very light and sattvic. Avoid heavy, oily, spicy food, non-vegetarian food and alcohol. Prefer fruits, simple khichdi, light homemade food and sufficient water.
For protection from obstacles, enemies and fear, worship Lord Vishnu and chant:
“OM VISHNAWE NAMAHA”
108 times on the eclipse day.
And remember, Virgo — your greatest victory during this eclipse will not come by fighting every battle. It will come by knowing which battle deserves your energy and which one deserves your silence.
LIBRA
For Libra natives, this Lunar Eclipse will take place in your 5th house — the house of children, love relationships, creativity, intelligence, speculation, education and emotional expression.
So during the eclipse phase, especially from 26th to 30th August, avoid impulsive decisions in love matters, investments, speculation and matters connected with children. Do not overreact if your child, partner or someone emotionally close to you behaves differently than expected. Rahu can magnify doubt and make you read too much into small situations.
Be especially careful with stock-market speculation, gambling or risky financial decisions. This is a time to observe more and act less. If you are a student or creative professional, temporary confusion or lack of focus may arise, so remain disciplined and avoid unnecessary distractions.
On 28th August, keep your food very light and sattvic. Avoid heavy, oily, spicy food, non-vegetarian food and alcohol. Prefer fruits, simple khichdi or light homemade food, and remain properly hydrated.
For clarity, wisdom and protection of the mind, worship Lord Ganesha and chant:
“OM GAM GANAPATAYE NAMAHA”
108 times on the eclipse day.
And remember, Libra — not every emotion needs an immediate expression, and not every opportunity needs an immediate decision. During this eclipse, patience will protect both your heart and your judgment.
SCORPIO
For Scorpio natives, this Lunar Eclipse will take place in your 4th house — the house of home, mother, emotional peace, property, vehicles, domestic happiness and inner security.
So during the eclipse phase, especially from 26th to 30th August, avoid unnecessary arguments at home and remain patient with your mother, spouse and family members. A small domestic issue can become emotionally heavy if you react impulsively. Rahu can disturb peace of mind and create unnecessary suspicion, restlessness or dissatisfaction.
Also be careful regarding property matters, vehicle-related decisions and major purchases. Avoid rash driving and postpone emotionally driven decisions connected with home or relocation if possible.
On 28th August, keep your food very light and sattvic. Avoid heavy, oily, spicy food, non-vegetarian food and alcohol. Prefer fruits, simple khichdi or light homemade food, and remain properly hydrated.
For emotional peace and protection, worship Lord Shiva and chant:
“OM NAMAH SHIVAYA”
108 times on the eclipse day.
And remember, Scorpio — when the mind becomes restless, do not allow that restlessness to enter your home. Protect your peace, protect your relationships, and let silence become your shield.
SAGITTARIUS
For Sagittarius natives, this Lunar Eclipse will take place in your 3rd house — the house of communication, courage, short-distance travel, siblings, neighbours, writing, media and personal initiatives.
So during the eclipse phase, especially from 26th to 30th August, be extremely careful with your words, messages, emails and social-media communication. Avoid reacting instantly, forwarding controversial content or getting into arguments with siblings, neighbours or colleagues. Rahu can create misunderstanding through communication, so say less and verify more.
Also remain cautious during short-distance travel and driving. Avoid unnecessary rushing, distractions while driving and impulsive decisions connected with new projects or business initiatives. This is a better time to review than to force results.
On 28th August, keep your food very light and sattvic. Avoid heavy, oily, spicy food, non-vegetarian food and alcohol. Prefer fruits, simple khichdi or light homemade food, and remain properly hydrated.
For courage, protection and disciplined action, worship Lord Ganesha and chant:
“OM SHRI GANESHAYA NAMAHA”
108 times on the eclipse day.
And remember, Sagittarius — during this eclipse, your words can either create a bridge or create a battle. Speak consciously, travel carefully and do not let one impulsive reaction disturb your peace.
CAPRICORN
For Capricorn natives, this Lunar Eclipse will take place in your 2nd house — the house of family, speech, savings, accumulated wealth, food habits and personal values.
So during the eclipse phase, especially from 26th to 30th August, be extremely careful with your speech. Avoid harsh words, family arguments and unnecessary financial discussions that can suddenly become heated. Rahu can magnify a small misunderstanding, so think before you speak — especially with close family members.
Also remain cautious regarding money, savings and major financial commitments. Avoid impulsive investments, lending large amounts of money or making purchases merely because of emotional pressure.
On 28th August, keep your food very light and sattvic. Avoid heavy, oily, spicy food, non-vegetarian food and alcohol. Prefer fruits, simple khichdi or light homemade food, and remain properly hydrated.
For financial stability, harmony and divine grace, worship Maa Lakshmi and chant:
“OM SHREEM MAHALAKSHMYAI NAMAHA”
108 times on the eclipse day.
And remember, Capricorn — during this eclipse, your greatest protection lies in controlling two things: your words and your expenses. Speak gently, spend wisely and protect the peace of your family.
AQUARIUS
For Aquarius natives, this is perhaps the most sensitive and intense eclipse of all twelve signs, because this Lunar Eclipse is taking place in your 1st house — directly over your Ascendant or Moon sign zone of self, body, mind, personality, health and identity.
So from 26th to 30th August, you must be extra cautious.
This eclipse can make you feel unusually restless, emotionally disturbed, confused or mentally exhausted. A small problem may suddenly appear enormous. You may begin doubting people, questioning relationships or feeling that nobody understands you. Do not trust every fearful thought that enters your mind during this phase. Rahu can magnify fear far beyond reality.
Avoid major decisions regarding relationships, career, separation, resignation, confrontation or sudden life changes. Do not get into arguments merely to prove that you are right. And if you feel emotionally overwhelmed, do not isolate yourself completely — remain connected with trusted people and seek professional support if distress becomes severe.
Be especially careful while driving, travelling, dealing with crowds or entering heated situations. On the eclipse day, remain as quiet and spiritually centered as possible.
On 28th August, keep your food very light and sattvic. Avoid heavy, oily and spicy food, non-vegetarian food and alcohol. Prefer fruits, simple khichdi or easily digestible homemade food, and drink sufficient water.
For powerful protection from fear, confusion and Rahu-related disturbances, worship Maa Durga and chant:
“OM DUM DURGAYE NAMAHA”
108 times on the eclipse day.
And remember, Aquarius — this eclipse is passing directly through your zone of self, so do not underestimate its intensity. Protect your mind, protect your health and above everything, protect yourself from your own impulsive reactions. Sometimes the greatest storm is not outside us — it begins silently within the mind.
PISCES
For Pisces natives, this Lunar Eclipse will take place in your 12th house — the house of sleep, subconscious mind, isolation, expenses, foreign lands, hospitalization, hidden fears and spiritual withdrawal.
So during the eclipse phase, especially from 26th to 30th August, be very careful about your mental peace and sleep patterns. You may experience disturbed sleep, strange dreams, unnecessary fears, overthinking or a sudden desire to withdraw from everyone. Do not allow isolation to turn into excessive negativity.
Also remain cautious regarding unexpected expenses, foreign matters, travel plans and unnecessary financial leakage. Avoid spending impulsively and do not make major decisions when you are mentally exhausted or emotionally disturbed.
On 28th August, keep your food very light and sattvic. Avoid heavy, oily, spicy food, non-vegetarian food and alcohol. Prefer fruits, simple khichdi or light homemade food, and remain properly hydrated.
For protection from hidden fears, disturbed sleep and negative thoughts, worship Lord Vishnu and chant:
“OM NAMO NARAYANAYA”
108 times on the eclipse day.
And remember, Pisces — the 12th house can make the mind wander into places where reality ends and fear begins. During this eclipse, do not believe every thought that comes to you. Stay prayerful, sleep well, spend carefully and allow your faith to become stronger than your fear.
I want you to read very carefully to this beautiful story of Buddha and Ananda — because hidden within this story is perhaps the single most important spiritual remedy for sailing smoothly through this intense Lunar Eclipse phase.
One day Buddha is passing by a forest. It is a hot summer day and he is feeling very thirsty. He says to Ananda, his chief disciple, “Ananda, you go back. Just three, four miles back we passed a small stream of water. You bring a little water — take my begging bowl. I am feeling very thirsty and tired.” He had become old.
Ananda goes back, but by the time he reaches the stream, a few bullock carts have just passed through the stream and they have made the whole stream muddy. Dead leaves which had settled into the bed have risen up; it is no longer possible to drink this water — it is too dirty. He comes back empty-handed, and he says, “You will have to wait a little. I will go ahead. I have heard that just two, three miles ahead there is a big river. I will bring water from there.”
But Buddha insists. He says, “You go back and bring water from the same stream.”
Ananda could not understand the insistence, but if the master says so, the disciple has to follow. Seeing the absurdity of it — that again he will have to walk three, four miles, and he knows that water is not worth drinking — he goes.
When he is going, Buddha says, “And don’t come back if the water is still dirty. If it is dirty, you simply sit on the bank silently. Don’t do anything, don’t get into the stream. Sit on the bank silently and watch. Sooner or later the water will be clear again, and then you fill the bowl and come back.”
Ananda goes there. Buddha is right: the water is almost clear, the leaves have moved, the dust has settled. But it is not absolutely clear yet, so he sits on the bank just watching the river flow by. Slowly slowly, it becomes crystal-clear. Then he comes dancing. Then he understands why Buddha was so insistent. There was a certain message in it for him, and he understood the message. He gave the water to Buddha, and he thanked Buddha, touched his feet.
Buddha says, “What are you doing? I should thank you that you have brought water for me.”
Ananda says, “Now I can understand. First I was angry; I didn’t show it, but I was angry because it was absurd to go back. But now I understand the message. This is what I actually needed in this moment. The same is the case with my mind — sitting on the bank of that small stream, I became aware that the same is the case with my mind. If I jump into the stream I will make it dirty again. If I jump into the mind more noise is created, more problems start coming up, surfacing. Sitting by the side I learned the technique.
“Now I will be sitting by the side of my mind too, watching it with all its dirtiness and problems and old leaves and hurts and wounds, memories, desires. Unconcerned I will sit on the bank and wait for the moment when everything is clear.”
And it happens on its own accord, because the moment you sit on the bank of your mind you are no longer giving energy to it. This is real meditation. Meditation is the art of transcendence.
And my dear friends…
THIS is exactly what I want you to remember during this Lunar Eclipse.
The Moon represents the mind.
And Rahu represents magnification, confusion, illusion, obsession and fear.
So imagine that muddy stream as your own mind during this eclipse.
Something happens in the morning…
Somebody says something unpleasant…
A WhatsApp message arrives…
Your spouse behaves differently…
Your boss criticizes you…
A payment gets delayed…
Someone does not return your call…
And suddenly—
the bullock carts have entered your stream.
The mud starts rising.
Old memories start rising.
Old wounds start rising.
Old fears start rising.
Old suspicions start rising.
And Rahu whispers into your mind:
“Something is wrong.”
“Something terrible is going to happen.”
“This person is against you.”
“Your relationship is finished.”
“Your career is in danger.”
And before you realize what is happening, your peaceful stream has become completely muddy.
But what did Buddha tell Ananda?
Don’t enter the water.
That one instruction contains tremendous wisdom.
Because when the mind is disturbed, most people immediately jump into the mind.
They begin analysing.
Why did he say this?
Why did she do that?
Why is this happening to me?
What if this happens tomorrow?
What if I lose everything?
What if somebody is conspiring against me?
And the more you enter that stream…
the muddier it becomes.
That is why during this eclipse phase, especially from 26th August to 30th August, learn to become a little more like Ananda.
Sit on the bank of your mind.
Watch.
Observe.
Wait.
Do not immediately react.
If somebody insults you — wait.
If your spouse irritates you — wait.
If your boss upsets you — wait.
If you receive disturbing news — wait.
If an old fear suddenly returns — wait.
Because sometimes the problem that looks enormous at 9 o’clock in the morning may look completely different by 9 o’clock at night.
Let the mud settle.
This is perhaps the greatest remedy for this Lunar Eclipse.
Not every remedy comes from a gemstone.
Not every remedy comes from a ritual.
Not every remedy comes from a temple.
Sometimes the greatest remedy is simply—
DO NOT REACT.
Do not send that angry message.
Do not make that furious phone call.
Do not resign from your job in anger.
Do not threaten separation.
Do not insult somebody publicly.
Do not put something emotional on social media.
And most importantly—
do not make a permanent decision because of a temporary emotion.
Because the eclipse will pass.
The Moon will move.
Rahu’s intensity will reduce.
Your emotions will settle.
But the damage created by one impulsive reaction may remain long after the eclipse has gone.
And therefore always remember:
The Lunar Eclipse may eclipse the Moon for a few hours — but don’t allow it to eclipse your wisdom.
The Moon may come under Rahu’s shadow…
but don’t allow your relationship to come under the shadow of your ego.
Your mind may temporarily become restless…
but don’t allow that restlessness to become your reality.
Your thoughts are not always facts.
Your fears are not always predictions.
And every negative feeling that comes into your mind is not necessarily a sign from destiny.
Sometimes…
it is simply mud rising from the bottom of the stream.
Let it settle.
This is where prayer becomes powerful.
This is where meditation becomes powerful.
This is where your Guru becomes important.
And this is where your Mantra becomes your anchor.
When thoughts become too many, do not fight with every thought.
Instead chant:
SHRI RAM JAI RAM JAI JAI RAM.
Again—
SHRI RAM JAI RAM JAI JAI RAM.
Chant this sacred Ram Mantra 108 times in the morning and 108 times before going to bed, especially during this eclipse phase.
Because mantra does not necessarily stop the storm outside you.
Mantra gives you the strength not to become the storm yourself.
And this is why I repeatedly tell you—
Stay close to your Guru.
Stay close to your Ishta Devata.
Stay close to your Mantra.
Eat light and sattvic food on the eclipse day.
Avoid alcohol and intoxicants.
Avoid unnecessary arguments.
Avoid gossip.
Avoid unnecessary crowds if they make you restless.
Drive carefully.
Speak less.
Observe more.
Continue your prescribed medicines if you are undergoing medical or mental-health treatment.
Sleep properly.
And if your mind becomes extremely disturbed, speak with somebody you trust and seek professional help when needed.
Spirituality should make you stronger, clearer and more balanced.
It should never make you afraid.
And above everything else, remember the deepest lesson of Buddha’s story:
You are not the muddy stream.
You are the one watching the muddy stream.
Thoughts will come.
Thoughts will go.
Fear will come.
Fear will go.
Anger will come.
Anger will go.
The eclipse will come.
And the eclipse will also go.
But the witness within you remains untouched.
That witness is your consciousness.
That witness is your awareness.
And when awareness becomes stronger than fear—
Rahu loses its power over your mind.
So during this Lunar Eclipse, whenever life becomes confusing, remember just four words:
SIT. WATCH. WAIT. PRAY.
Give the water some time.
Give the mind some time.
Give the relationship some time.
Give life some time.
Because when you stop disturbing the stream…
clarity returns on its own.
And therefore sail through this intense Lunar Eclipse with the two beautiful qualities that Sai Baba emphasized throughout his life—
Shraddha and Saburi.
Faith and Patience.
Shraddha tells you:
“God is with me.”
Saburi tells you:
“I don’t have to react today. I can wait.”
And when Faith and Patience walk together…
even the darkest eclipse cannot destroy your inner light.
Do not fear the darkness.
Simply keep your inner lamp burning.
Keep remembering your Guru.
Keep remembering your God.
And keep chanting—
SHRI RAM JAI RAM JAI JAI RAM.
Because every eclipse has one eternal truth hidden within it:
The shadow can cover the light temporarily…
but the shadow can never become the light.
Eventually the shadow moves away.
The Moon shines again.
The water becomes clear again.
And life moves forward again.
Jai Shri Ganesha. Jai Guru.
