Can Your Hair & Photos Be Used For Black Magic? | Episode Five

Spread the love

What if somebody secretly gets hold of your hair, your old clothes, your photograph, your handwriting, or something that you have personally used? Can that object be used against you?

This is one of the most disturbing questions people ask me.

And according to many occult traditions, the answer is: personal objects are believed to create a stronger symbolic connection with the person they belong to.

Now before you become frightened, understand exactly what I am saying.

I am talking about occult belief and traditional practice. I am not saying that somebody simply touching your photograph gives them supernatural control over your life. Do not become paranoid.

But across many traditional occult systems, practitioners have believed that something closely connected with a person can act like a symbolic link to that person.

That is why hair is considered important.

That is why old clothes are considered important.

That is why photographs are considered important.

That is why in some traditions even handwriting, jewellery, personal belongings or objects used repeatedly by a person are given importance.

Because the belief is very simple: the closer the object is to you personally, the stronger the symbolic connection.

Let me explain this in a very easy way.

Your photograph represents you.

Your hair physically came from your body.

Your clothes have touched your body.

Your handwriting was physically created by your hand.

An object that you use every day becomes strongly associated with you.

And occult traditions interpret that association as a kind of personal signature.

WHEN DOES A PERSONAL OBJECT BECOME A TARGET?

Now again, do not immediately start throwing away every photograph from your house.

Don’t become afraid of giving clothes for laundry.

Don’t start suspecting your barber because he cut your hair.

Don’t start fighting with people because they have your photograph on WhatsApp.

That is not awareness. That is paranoia.

We have to understand the difference between ordinary possession of an object and somebody deliberately taking that object with hostile intention.

That distinction matters.

Millions of people have your photograph online.

Your photographs may be on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, WhatsApp or your website.

That does not mean millions of people can suddenly control your life.

So the question is not merely: “Does somebody have my photograph?”

The question, in occult belief, is whether somebody deliberately obtains or uses a personal object with a specific negative intention.

That is a completely different matter.

And this is why historically people in many families were very particular about things like cut hair, nail clippings and deeply personal belongings.

Older generations would sometimes say, “Do not throw these things carelessly.”

Why?

Because culturally, there was a belief that anything coming directly from the body should not fall into the hands of someone with bad intentions.

You may believe that.

You may not believe that.

But the belief itself is very old.

WHY DO HAIR, CLOTHES & PHOTOGRAPHS MATTER?

Hair especially has always carried enormous symbolic importance.

Think about it.

Hair grows from your body.

It contains a physical trace of you.

It remains associated with you even after being cut.

And because of that, many occult and folk traditions have treated hair as something deeply personal.

The same applies to clothing.

A shirt worn repeatedly by you is not seen in those traditions as just a piece of cloth.

It has touched your body.

It carries your smell.

It is immediately identified with you.

The same is true of jewellery worn regularly, handkerchiefs, scarves, or other objects that remain close to the body.

But photographs are slightly different.

Photographs became important later because the photograph visually represents the target.

You look at the photograph and immediately know: this is that person.

And in symbolic systems, representation itself becomes important.

But here I want to say something extremely important.

Today, everybody’s photographs are everywhere.

If photographs alone were enough to destroy anybody, then every celebrity, politician, actor, spiritual teacher, YouTuber and public personality would be in permanent danger.

That is obviously not how life works.

So do not exaggerate the power of an object.

The object itself is not the entire story.

In occult belief, there has to be intention, ritual context, belief, and the practitioner’s system behind it.

And even then, it does not mean that every claimed occult act will work.

IS EVERY MISSING ITEM REALLY BLACK MAGIC?

This is exactly where fear merchants take advantage of people.

You lose an old shirt and somebody tells you, “Oh my God, somebody has taken it for black magic.”

Your hair falls somewhere and somebody says, “Be careful, somebody may use it.”

A photograph goes missing and suddenly the whole family panics.

No.

First use common sense.

Things get lost.

Hair falls naturally.

Old clothes disappear.

People keep photographs.

People share images.

That is normal life.

Do not manufacture a supernatural explanation for every ordinary event.

WHEN SHOULD YOU ACTUALLY BE CAUTIOUS?

But if you repeatedly notice somebody deliberately trying to collect your personal belongings in a strange or secretive way, then obviously you have a right to become cautious.

Not because you must assume black magic.

But because anybody secretly collecting your personal items without permission is already crossing a boundary.

That itself is enough reason to protect your privacy.

And this is where practical awareness becomes important.

Do not leave deeply personal belongings unnecessarily in places where you do not trust people.

Do not share intimate personal information with everybody.

Do not give complete access to your home, bedroom, cupboards and private belongings to people you barely know.

Do not become careless simply because you think, “Nothing can happen.”

Protection begins with ordinary common sense.

Spiritual people sometimes make the opposite mistake.

They become so spiritual that they stop being practical.

They say, “God will protect me,” and then they become careless.

No.

Faith does not mean carelessness.

You lock your house even if you trust God.

You protect your bank password even if you trust God.

You do not hand your private documents to strangers.

In the same way, there is nothing wrong with protecting your personal belongings.

But do it without fear.

That is the key.

CAN SOCIAL MEDIA PHOTOS BE USED AGAINST YOU?

Now let us come to another question people ask me all the time.

“Can somebody use my photograph from social media?”

In occult belief, some traditions would say that a photograph can serve as a symbolic representation of a person.

But again, representation does not mean automatic control.

A photograph is not a magic remote control.

If you are a public person, thousands of people may possess your photograph.

That does not mean your life is controlled by them.

This is why I keep repeating one thing throughout this series:

DO NOT GIVE FEAR MORE POWER THAN IT DESERVES.

The moment you become obsessed with every photograph, every piece of hair, every missing shirt and every stranger looking at you, you may damage your own mental peace far more than any external person could.

Fear begins connecting dots that may not even exist.

You start remembering every person who ever came to your house.

You start questioning your maid.

You start suspecting your relatives.

You start accusing an ex-partner.

You begin thinking, “Maybe this person took my hair. Maybe that person took my photograph.”

And soon you are trapped.

This is exactly what I do not want you to do.

Awareness is useful.

Obsession is dangerous.

Now some people ask me, “Acharya Ji, what about food?”

That is another very serious topic.

Because food is not just something you touch externally.

Food actually enters your body.

And for that reason, many traditional cultures have been far more careful about accepting food from certain people or eating food in suspicious circumstances.

But that deserves a separate blog because food and occult belief is a much deeper subject.

CAN FEAR BECOME THE REAL WEAPON?

This blog, just understand the core principle.

Why are hair, clothes, photographs and personal items important in occult traditions?

Because they are believed to create a personal symbolic link.

Hair comes from your body.

Clothes touch your body.

Photographs represent your identity.

Handwriting comes directly from your hand.

Personal jewellery and belongings remain associated with you.

That is why some practitioners give these objects significance.

But that does not mean you should live like a prisoner.

It does not mean you should stop posting photographs.

It does not mean you should become frightened of salons.

It does not mean you should burn all your old clothes.

It does not mean everybody holding one of your photographs can harm you.

Stay practical.

Stay spiritually strong.

And most importantly, do not become mentally available to fear.

Because once somebody convinces you that your life can be controlled through a missing shirt or a photograph, they may start controlling you psychologically without performing any ritual whatsoever.

Think about that.

Sometimes fear itself becomes the weapon.

And that may be far more powerful than the object you are frightened about.

So what should you do?

Protect your privacy.

Do not unnecessarily hand over deeply personal belongings to people you do not trust.

Do not allow strangers unrestricted access to your private spaces.

Do not share everything about your personal life with everybody.

But after taking reasonable precautions, live your life normally.

Pray.

Do your mantra.

Stay connected with God.

Keep your mind disciplined.

And remember that spirituality is supposed to give you strength, not turn you into a frightened person who sees danger everywhere.

So let me give you message in one sentence:

YES — MANY OCCULT TRADITIONS BELIEVE THAT HAIR, CLOTHES, PHOTOGRAPHS AND PERSONAL OBJECTS CAN BE USED AS SYMBOLIC LINKS TO A PERSON. BUT DO NOT TURN THAT BELIEF INTO PARANOIA.

Be aware.

Be practical.

Protect your privacy.

But do not surrender your mind to fear.

And now we come to the next question — perhaps one of the most disturbing questions in this entire Black Magic Series:

CAN FOOD BE USED FOR BLACK MAGIC?

Can somebody allegedly put something into food and create a negative occult influence?

Why have so many spiritual traditions warned people to be careful about whose food they accept?

And is every strange experience after eating somebody’s food really black magic — or are people again confusing superstition with reality?

That is what we are going to discuss in the next blog of BLACK MAGIC SERIES 2026.

Until then, stay aware, stay spiritually strong, and above everything else — never allow fear to own your mind.
