Depends on which type of Astrology you follow.
If you are following Exoteric Astrology – then Ramana Ayanamsha or Yukteshwar Ayanamsha is much closer to the reality.
If you are following Esoteric Astrology which is highly spiritual by nature and generally meditative spiritual beings prefer this type of Astrology – then Djwal Khul Ayanamsa or De Luce Ayanamsa is much closer to reality.
By and by it simply is based on the level of your CONSCIOUSNESS through which you perceive a certain Ayanamsha and the person who has come to you for consultation.
I think all the 4 Ayanamsha- RAMAN, YUKTESHWAR and DK ( famously called as DK in the West by Astrologers who follow Djwal Khul Ayanamsha) and De Luce Ayanamsha are the best to test your horoscope and observe which suits you because WE ALL MUST UNDERSTAND THAT NO ONE IS EQUAL AND NO ONE INEQUAL AND THAT EVERY INDIVIDUAL IS UNIQUE. AND SO TO MEASURE ALL INDIVIDUAL THROUGH THE SAME MEASUREMENT TAPE ( SAME AYANAMSHA) WILL BE TOO NAIVE.
And so RESPECT every individual by NOT mapping him or her with one common AYANAMSHA but by testing which suits best to their LIFE SITUATIONS (EVENTS) and accordingly follow the most suitable AYANAMSHA from the fantastic four Ayanamsha that I have mentioned in this Answer.
The only AYANAMSHA that I generally DO NOT recommend is the LAHIRI AYANAMSHA which was finalized on the order of the Nehru Government. Before Independence- nobody knew about Lahiri Ayanamsha because it was deliberately made by the Government to enable national holidays across the nation on a specific day. I also haven’t seen much reliable results from Lahiri Ayanamsha.
So apart from LAHIRI AYANAMSHA- insightful students of Astrology should and can try all available Ayanamsha though as far as my experience goes – I can say that RAMANA AND YUKTESHWAR are simply the best Ayanamsha. Followed with a bit more spiritual Ayanamsha- DK Ayanamsha ( Dhwaja Khul) and De Luce Ayanamsha are one of the best from esoteric perspective.
Ayanamsha is the Provider. You are the Antenna – the âsignal” is received based on how fine tune the Antenna is!
And this fine tune-ness is based on your level of awareness, your state of consciousness!
Krishna Consiousness – the West calls it God Consciousness and some call it Christ Consciousness! No matter what you call it – CONSCIOUSNESS is at the root of all solutions that you seek!

And once you raise the level of your CONSCIOUSNESS than you can easily map and find which AYANAMSHA suits a specific individual.
Always remember ASTROLOGY is totally based on the Light of Consciousness.
In India we address Astrology in one word – JYOTISH. JYOT ( LIGHT OF CONSCIOUSNESS) and ISH ( GOD) – so see how great the ancient seers and sages of India are – that they so beautiful coined this word -Jyotish – which simply refer to GOD CONSCIOUSNESS.

Because unless you purify your emotions – attaining the state of consciousness is not possible. It is a long journey but someday one must start. Ratnakar – a dreadful thief transformed into one of the greatest Saint – Saint Valmiki who wrote The Ramayana!
Saul who hated Jesus and caused much trouble to Jesus and HIS followers – transformed into one of the most venerated Saints – Saint PAUL. Saul becomes Saint Paul – that is the power of possibility.
Real Transformation is the TRANSFORMATION WITHIN.
I always like the man who hates me because his or her HATE is REAL. But those whose LOVE IS FAKE are more dangerous than those whose HATE IS REAL! BECAUSE that HATE can someday transform into LOVE and that Love has all the possibilities to be REAL because the HATE was also REAL.
And so never judge a person or never try to map a person with just one measurement tape ( Ayanamsha) – try a few more to see which suits him or her – because when you do that – you are RESPECTFUL to his or her INDIVIDUALITY, you are acknowledging the fact that every person who comes to you for a consultation is UNIQUE.
